A Study on the Menu Management of Betel Restaurants (메뉴 교체의 관리 방안에 관한 연구 -호텔 레스토랑을 중심으로-)

  • The rapidly changing environments of today's hospitality industry lays more and more emphasis on the management of food & beverage sector. Hotel restaurants changes their menus 2 times a year. But they tend to modify or complement old items, or imitate other restaurants'menus, rather than try new ones. In addition, the change cycles are determined without any systematic and scientific criteria. Based on the survey, a plan for managing menu change cycles is proposed. The proposed plan is summarized as follows: First, the survey result demonstrates that the appropriate frequency of menu changes is: twice a year for the fixed menu; four times for the seasonal menu; four times for the promotion menu; twice for the business menu; and, three times for the event menu. Second, under the management maintained by consistent monitoring of menu change. Third, menu change should be managed through the menu analyses on its profitability, popularity, and the potential for further growth. Fourth, menu change should be managed through the periodic investigations of the tastes and preferences of the customers. fifth, a unique system for the menu change should be constructed by analyzing of other competitive restaurants or restaurant chain stores.

  • Multi-purpose freight car is very useful to overcome the unbalance between freight demand and freight car supply. it means removable container is the auxiliary device to make flat car and container and it will be able to transport the container and flat freight. The study is analyzed the freight car operation frequency and freight volume and researched the efficient operation plan. The multi-purpose freight car will contribute in improved the seasonal and the item demand fluctuation and solved the problem of decrease utilization of the open freight car.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the planning dimensions according to homemaker's age and education. In this study the dimensions of planning are participation, time span , significance, specifity and flexibly. The subject areas of planning are family economy, household activities, child rearing and purchasing. Questionnaires were given to the selected 181 homemakers living in Seoul and Incheon. Data were analyzed by frequency, percent, x2 -test, F-test. The result are as follows: 1) There are significant differences in planning dimensions according to homemaker's age and education in some subject areas. 2)The younger the homemaker is and the higher her educational level is, the more cooperatively the couple plan in family life. 3)The family of which homemaker is younger and more educational tends to plan significantly, specifically and flexibly in family life.

  • This paper analyze a pattern and a cause of safety accident occupied in work filed of container terminals, calculate risk index considering accident frequency and severity, and then provide the relative risk assessment. Based on this, this paper provides the priority of risk reducing method in container terminals, proposes the risk management plan.

  • While everyone who uses electric power desires perfect frequency, voltage, stability, and reliability at all times, this cannot be realized in practice. The supplying utility cannot be expected to provide a perfect power supply because many of the causes of power supply disturbances are beyond the control of the utility. The outage happens but due to many reason. The electricity equipment requires consequently the emergency power supply. We classify the subordinate for quick supply of the emergency power supply and must grope the supply plan. We will find out in this paper through the case study about the emergency power efficient operation plan.

  • The Republic of Korea has a close cooperative relationship with NATO, of which the United States is a member. NATO is encouraged to follow UHF coalition waveforms for military air operations(SATURN) as defined in STANAG 4372. SATURN is a high-speed frequency hopping waveform with enhanced anti-jamming and security functions. Plans to improve the performance of existing military aircraft with air to ground radios to which SATURN function is applied. IFF case analysis and MRT evaluation plan were established to present an efficient test and evaluation plan for air to ground radios.

  • A study has designing on the structure of new radio relay for maritime safety communications system with economical and practical useful, that purpose be capable to exceedingly minimum the accident of small ship in sea, that is system. As Receive the urgency frequency from the SSB transceiver in a small fishery that transmit to convert VHF transceiver frequency. Otherwise, the VHF transmitter frequency is converting to the SSB receiver frequency. It has modeling of the bi-directional relay system, that is proposing the methode on the capability to mutual urgency communication between a SSB transceiver ship and VHF transceiver ship by new maritime safety communications system.

  • Recent success of gravitational wave (GW) detection by LIGO opened a new window to expand our understanding of the Universe. In addition to LIGO, several other developments are going on or under planning. However, each of these detectors has a specific sensitive frequency range. There is a missing frequency band, 0.1-10 Hz, where detectors loose sensitivity significantly due to Newtonian noise on the Earth. We introduce a plan to develop a Superconducting Low-frequency Gravitational- wave Telescope (SLGT), which can observe massive black holes in 0.1-10 Hz. The SLGT system consists of magnetically levitated six test masses, superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs), rigid support frame, cooling system, vibration isolation, and signal acquisition. By taking the advantage of nearly quantum-limited low-noise SQUIDs and capacitor bridge transducers, SLGT's detection sensitivity can be improved to allow astrophysical observation of black holes in cosmological distances. We present preliminary design study and expected sensitivity, and its technical feasibility.

  • This paper simulated discharge progress and partial discharge using needle-plan electrode system in air, in this time with discharge progress, studied the distribution of frequency spectrum of the radiated electromagnetic waves using biconical antenna and spectrum analyzer. From results of this study, a method was introduced for measurement and analyzation of the radiated electromagnetic waves in accordance with AC discharge progress in air, Besides, according to the consideration of the mutual relation between frequency spectrum of the radiated electromagnetic waves and discharge progress, it was confirmed that detecting partial discharge and estimating discharge progress were possible.

  • A Study on the application of ultrasonic with high frequency is carried out as a plan to rise the efficiency of the hydrogen fuel production in an electrolysis of water. KOH is selected as an electrolyte and concentrations are 0 %, 10 %, 20 %, and 30%. The solvent is city water. A measurable device of buoyancy by an electronic balance and a measurable device of voltage with a sensor of pressure are planned newly as a measuring device to measure the quantity of hydrogen production. An ultrasonic transducer with high frequency of 2 MHz is selected to give them the ultrasonic forcing. In results, it is clarified that ultrasonic influences the decrease of overpotential in the electrolytic solution. And basic data according to the pole interval and the temperature are obtained.
