Lately, there has been increasing research on the prediction of motion performance using artificial intelligence for the safe design and operation of ships. However, compared to conventional ships, research on small fishing boats is insufficient. In this paper, we propose a model that estimates the motion response essential for calculating the motion performance of small fishing boats using a deep neural network. Hydrodynamic analysis was conducted on 15 small fishing boats, and a database was established. Environmental conditions and main particulars were applied as input data, and the response amplitude operators were utilized as the output data. The motion response predicted by the trained deep neural network model showed similar trends to the hydrodynamic analysis results. The results showed that the high-frequency motion responses were predicted well with a low error. Based on this study, we plan to extend existing research by incorporating the hull shape characteristics of fishing boats into a deep neural network model.

In recent years, the occurrence of abnormal weather has increased rapidly, increasing the frequency of torrential rain. As a result, stable water resource management is difficult, and human and material damage is increasing. Various measures are being established to reduce damage caused by torrential rains, but small-scale mountain catchments are relatively difficult to manage due to lack of basic plan. In this study, the risk of flooding was evaluated using the rainfall-flow model in the Yeonhwa-dong catchment national park among national parks in Korea. The Yeonhwa-dong catchment of Mt. Sobaeksan was simulated to cause flooding when rainfall of more than 50 years occurred, and it was confirmed that there was a high risk of water resource structures, safety facilities, and trails.

This research aims to study and confirm enabling factors affecting the knowledge transfer and business process of community enterprise groups in Pattani province, Thailand. Key informants were community enterprise entrepreneurs; 30 people were selected purposively with criteria. This study used a mixed-methods approach and conducted semi-structured interviews to collect data. Qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis and classification, while quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics with frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Moreover, inferential statistics chi-square value, Phi Cramer's V, and multiple regression analysis with the R program for statistical computing were employed to analyze the relationship between the variables, test the research hypothesis, and create forecasting equations. The research results revealed that the overview of enabling factors had a very high relationship (Cramer's V=0.965). Regarding community enterprise, it was found that enabling factors related to the knowledge transfer and business process consisted of four factors: regulations and administrative guidelines, business plan, reinforcement, and brainstorming. Reinforcement was the factor with the highest degree of correlation (Cramer's V=0.873) and predictor of influence on the knowledge transfer and business process (R2=0.670, p<0.05). This study's findings can lead to the developing of guidelines for promoting community enterprises properly and timely. These guidelines are expected to be used to develop knowledge about business models for community enterprises, which will help to improve their competency and competitiveness.

Congruences and symmetry are familiar concepts that can be encountered in everyday life. In order to effectively understand and acquire these concepts, the role of appropriate visual examples is important. This analysis examined various visual examples used in the process of learning the concepts of congruence and symmetry in elementary mathematics textbooks and focused on the use of convex polygons and concave polygons. As a result of the analysis, various types of polygons were used as visual examples for teaching and learning of congruence and symmetry in textbooks. The frequency of use of concave polygons was higher in the order of congruence, line symmetry, and point symmetry, and it was confirmed that it was used more frequently in the process of exploring properties than in the introduction of the concept. Based on these results, a plan to utilize concave polygons in teaching and learning of congruence and symmetry was sought.
