  • In this paper, we propose the method to extract the important frequency bands from the EMG signal, and for generation of feature vector using the important frequency bands. The EMG signal is measured with 4 sensor and is recorded as 4 channel’s time series data. The same frequency bands from 4 channel’s frequency components are selected as the important frequency bands. The feature vector is calculated by the function formed using the combination of selected same important frequency bands. The EMG signals acquired from seven wrist motion type are recognized by changing into the feature vector formed. Then, the extraction and generation is performed by using the double combination of the genetic algorithm (GA) and the neural network (NN). Finally, in order to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, computer simulations are done.

  • This study investigated the classification performance of a kNN classifier using the feature selection methods based on document frequency(DF) and collection frequency(CF). The results of the experiments, which used HKIB-20000 data, were as follows. First, the feature selection methods that used high-frequency terms and removed low-frequency terms by the CF criterion achieved better classification performance than those using the DF criterion. Second, neither DF nor CF methods performed well when low-frequency terms were selected first in the feature selection process. Last, combining CF and DF criteria did not result in better classification performance than using the single feature selection criterion of DF or CF.

  • In this paper suggest for methods disease region feature extraction of medical image using wavelet. In the preprocessing, the shape informations of medical image are selected by performing the discrete wavelet transform(DWT) with four level coefficient matrix. In this approach, based on the characteristics of the coefficient matrix, 96 feature parameters are calculated as follows: Firstly. obtaining 32 feature parameters which have the characteristics of low frequency from the parameters according to the horizontal high frequency are calculated from the coefficient matrix of horizontal high frequency. In the third place, 16 vertical feature parameters are also calculated using the same kind of procedure with respect to the vertical high frequency. Finally, 32 feature parameters of diagonal high frequency are obtained from the coefficient matrix of diagonal high frequency. Consequently, 96 feature aprameters extracted. Using suggest algorithm in this paper will, implamentation can automatic recognition system, increasing efficiency of picture achieve communication system.

  • This paper presents a sub-band feature extraction approach in which the feature extraction method in the individual frequency sub-bands is determined in terms of speech recognition accuracy. As in the multi-band paradigm, features are extracted independently in frequency sub-regions of the speech signal. Since the spectral shape is well structured in the low frequency region, the all pole model is effective for feature extraction. But, in the high frequency region, the nonparametric transform, discrete cosine transform is effective for the extraction of cepstrum. Using the sub-band specific feature extraction method, the linguistic information in the individual frequency sub-bands can be extracted effectively for automatic speech recognition. The validity of the proposed method is shown by comparing the results of speech recognition experiments for our method with those obtained using a full-band feature extraction method.

  • Pursuance Sentiment Analysis on Twitter is difficult then performance it's used for great review. The present be for the reason to the tweet is extremely small with mostly contain slang, emoticon, and hash tag with other tweet words. A feature extraction stands every technique concerning structure and aspect point beginning particular tweets. The subdivision in a aspect vector is an integer that has a commitment on ascribing a supposition class to a tweet. The cycle of feature extraction is to eradicate the exact quality to get better the accurateness of the classifications models. In this manuscript we proposed Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) method is to secure Principal Component Analysis (PCA) with Naïve Bayes Classifiers. As the classifications process, the work proposed can produce different aspects from wildly valued feature commencing a Twitter dataset.

  • We can devide the speech into high frequency speech and low frequency speech according to the feature of the speech, However so far the construction of the recognizer without concerning this feature causes low recognition rate relatively and the needs of an amount of data in the research on the speech recognition. In this paper, we propose the method that can devide this feature of speaker's speech using the Formant frequency, and the method that can recognize the speech after constructing the recognizer model reflecting the feature of the high and low frequency of the speaker's speech, For the experiment we constructed the recognizer model using 47 mono-phone of Korean and trained the recognizer model using 20 women's and men's speech respectively. We divided the feature of speech using the Formant frequency Table, that had been consisted of the Formant frequency, and the value of pitch, and then We performed recognition using the trained model according to the feature of speech The proposed system outperformed the existing method in the recognition rate, as the result.

  • In this paper, different frequency scales in cepstral feature extraction are evaluated for the text-independent speaker recognition. To this end, mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCCs), linear frequency cepstral coefficients (LFCCs), and bilinear warped frequency cepstral coefficients (BWFCCs) are applied to the speaker recognition experiment. In addition, the spectro-temporal features extracted by the cepstral-time matrix (CTM) are examined as an alternative to the delta and delta-delta features. Experiments on the NIST speaker recognition evaluation (SRE) 2004 task are carried out using the Gaussian mixture model-universal background model (GMM-UBM) method and the joint factor analysis (JFA) method, both based on the ALIZE 3.0 toolkit. Experimental results using both the methods show that BWFCC with appropriate warping factor yields better performance than MFCC and LFCC. It is also shown that the feature set including the spectro-temporal information based on the CTM outperforms the conventional feature set including the delta and delta-delta features.

  • In this paper, a new technology for extracting the feature of the speech signal of an isolated word by the analysis on the frequency domain is proposed. This technology can be applied efficiently for the limited speech domain. In order to extract the feature of speech signal, the number of peaks is calculated and the value of the frequency for a peak is used. Then the difference between the maximum peak and the second peak is also considered to identify the meanings among the words in the limited domain. By implementing this process hierarchically, the feature of speech signal can be extracted more quickly.

  • In this paper, we present the result of feature points recognition and classification of radial pulse by the shape of pulse wave. And we analyze radial pulse in frequency domain. The recognition algorithm use the method which runs in parallel with both the data of ECG and differential pulse simultaneously to recognize the feature points. Also fie specified 3-time elements of pulse wave as main parameters for diagnosis and measured them by execution of algorithm, then we classify the shape of radial pulse by existence and position of feature points. lastly we execute frequency analysis on the feature points and get the power spectrum of radial pulse.

  • The ability to recognize human emotion is one of the hallmarks of human-robot interaction. Hence this paper describes the realization of emotion recognition. For emotion recognition from voice, we propose a new feature called frequency range of meaningful signal. With this feature, we reached average recognition rate of 76% in speaker-dependent. From the experimental results, we confirm the usefulness of the proposed feature. We also define the noise environment and conduct the noise-environment test. In contrast to other features, the proposed feature is robust in a noise-environment.
