Linguistic and Cultural Foundations of in-Depth Study of the National Language at School

  • The main purpose of the study is to analyze the linguoculturological foundations of in-depth study of the national language. The new requirements facing a modern teacher, his training and professional qualities make it necessary to take into account the experience and latest achievements of other countries in the field of educational policy, in particular, in the field of teaching foreign languages, as well as to identify and overcome negative ones. Based on the results of the study, the key linguoculturological foundations of in-depth study of the national language were characterized.

  • This study proposes a two-dimensional hyperbolic soil spring model for mat foundations in clays subjected to vertically uniform loads to simplify the complexity of three-dimensional finite element analysis on mat foundations. The solutions from three-dimensional finite element analysis were examined to determine the hyperbolic model parameters of the soil springs underneath the slab. Utilizing these model parameters, normalized functions across the middle section of the mat were obtained. The solutions from the proposed model, along with the approximate finite difference analysis of the mat in clays under vertical load, were found to be consistent with those from the three-dimensional finite element analysis. The authors conclude that the proposed method can serve as an alternative for the preliminary design of mat foundations.

Scale-dependent buckling of embedded thermo-electro-magneto-elastic cylindrical nano-shells with different edge conditions

  • A new analytical buckling solution of a thermo-electro-magneto-elastic (TEME) cylindrical nano-shell made of BiTiO3-CoFe2O4 materials is obtained based on Hamiltonian approach. The Winkler and Pasternak elastic foundations as well as thermo-electro-magneto-mechanical loadings are applied, and two different types of edge conditions are taken into the investigation. According to nonlocal strain gradient theory (NSGT) and surface elasticity theory in conjunction with the Kirchhoff-Love theory, governing equations of the nano-shell are acquired, and the buckling bifurcation condition is obtained by adopting the Navier's method. The detailed parameter study is conducted to investigate the effects of axial and circumferential wave numbers, scale parameters, elastic foundations, edge conditions and thermo-electro-magnetic loadings on the buckling behavior of the nano-shell. The proposed model can be applied in design and analysis of TEME nano components with multi-field coupled behavior, multiple edge conditions and scale effect.

  • 석션 버켓(suction bucket)은 해양 구조물 지지를 위해 사용되는 기초구조물 중 하나로 펌프를 이용해 빠르게 기초 시공이 가능한 장점이 있다. 최근 기초 지지력을 효과적으로 증가시키고 건설 비용을 절감하기 위해 단일 석션 버켓이나 다수의 석션 버켓이 매트기초와 결합된 하이브리드 석션 버켓기초(hybrid suction bucket foundation)가 제안되었다. 하지만 현재까지 수중구조물과 같이 작은 수직하중(자중)과 모멘트 하중 조건에서 수평하중에 대한 하이브리드 석션 버켓기초의 저항 메커니즘과 지지력에 관한 실험적 연구가 부족한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 점토지반에 설치된 하이브리드 석션 버켓기초의 수평방향 저항 메커니즘과 지지력을 평가하기 위해 하중재하시스템을 구축하고 원심모형실험을 수행하였다. 본 연구에서는 원형매트와 단일 버켓이 결합된 하이브리드 석션 버켓기초와 사각형 매트와 4개의 버켓기초가 결합된 하이브리드 그룹 석션 버켓기초를 대상으로 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 매트기초와 석션 버켓기초의 스커트(skirt) 길이가 수평방향 지지력 증진에 미치는 영향을 실험적으로 평가하였다. 그 결과, 작은 수직하중과 모멘트 하중조건에서 하이브리드 석션 버켓기초의 매트와 버켓기초 스커트가 기초의 수평방향 지지력 증진에 효과가 있음을 확인하였다.

  • Mattress foundations using geogrids are often used on soil foundations to increase the supporting capability of a mattress-soil foundation system, in which the mattress foundation trasmits a point load applied above to a wider area of the soil foundation underneath. To examine this load dispersion capability of the mattress foundation, model experiments were carried out on lab-floor. Expecially, the effect of the thickness of the mattress and the subgrade modulus of the soil foundation on load dispersion are considered. The load distribution and the tensile force generated on geogrid of the upper part of the mattress are examined in the paper.

  • In this paper we prove some interesting inclusions concerning the numerical range of some operators and the numerical range of theirs ranges with a convex function. Further, we prove some inequalities for the numerical radius. These inclusions and inequalities are based on some classical convexity inequalities for non-negative real numbers and some operator inequalities.

  • The design of a deep foundation by means of whatever a scientific method has to take into account the influence of the installation of the piles on the soil parameters to be implemented in the shaft and base capacity. Especially when discussing screw piles, the details of the pile installation technique are of outmost importance. New developments in screw pile techniques, over the last decade, show this type of deep foundations to be probably one of the most promissing for the future.

  • This article gives the foundations of the colored Jones polynomial for singular knots. We extend Masbum and Vogel's algorithm [26] to compute the colored Jones polynomial for any singular knot. We also introduce the tail of the colored Jones polynomial of singular knots and use its stability properties to prove a false theta function identity that goes back to Ramanujan.

  • In the present manuscript, geometrically nonlinear free vibration analysis of thin laminated plates resting on non-linear elastic foundations is investigated. Winkler-Pasternak type foundation model is used. Governing equations of motions are obtained using the von Karman type nonlinear theory. The method of discrete singular convolution is used to obtain the discretised equations of motion of plates. The effects of plate geometry, boundary conditions, material properties and foundation parameters on nonlinear vibration behavior of plates are presented.

  • In this paper, we provide the algebraic foundations to the theory of relative $\ell$$_1$ homology. In particular, we prove that $\ell$$_1$ homology of topological spaces, both for the absolute case and for the relative case, depends only on their fundamental groups. We also provide a .proof of Gromov's Equivalence theorem for $\ell$$_1$ homology, stated by Gromov without proof [4].
