일부 성인직장여성들의 식습관 및 계절별 영양소섭취상태 조사 (A Study on the Food Habit and Seasonal Difference of Nutrient Intake of Adult Working Women)

  • To assess the food habits and the seasonal differences of nutrient intakes and diet qualities of adult working women aged 30 - 49y in Busan, dietary survey was conducted in summer and in winter by a questionnaire and two-day food record. Anthropometric assessment was also investigated in two seasons. $91.8\%$ of those skipped breakfast in the main. $44.3\%$ had irregular meals. The mean daily energy intake was 1725.8 kcal with $63.3\%$ of energy intake being supplied by carbohydrates, $14.7\%$ by protein, $22.3\%$ by fat in summer and 1598.4 kcal with $62.1\%$ of energy intake being supplied by carbohydrates, $15.6\%$ by protein, $22.1\%$ by fat in winter. Over $70\%$ of iron intake came from plant origin in two seasons. The mean intakes of energy, calcium, iron and vitamin A in summer and energy, calcium, iron, vitamin A and vitamin $B_2$ in winter were below Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for Koreans. As well as insufficiency in iron, the bioavailability of iron is considered to have been low because most of iron intake came from plant origin in two seasons. For calcium and iron in summer and calcium, iron, vitamin A and vitamin $B_2$ in winter, proportions of subjects with intake levels less than $75\%$ of RDA were over $40\%$ in summer and over $50\%$ in winter, respectively. The nutrient adequacy ratios (NAR) were below 0.75 for calcium and iron in summer and calcium, iron, vitamin A and vitamin $B_2$ in winter. NARs of iron (p<0.05), vitamin A (p<0.01) and vitamin $B_2$ (p<0.001) in winter were significantly lower than those in summer. The mean adequacy ratios (MAR), an index of overall dietary quality were 0.85 in summer and 0.80 in winter. The MAR in winter was significantly lower than that in summer (p < 0.05). The indexes of nutritional quality (INQ) were below 1 for calcium and iron in summer and calcium, iron, vitamin A and vitamin $B_2$ in winter. The intake (p<0.05) and NAR (p<0.05) of vitamin $B_2$ showed positive significant correlations with height in winter. In conclusion, nutrient intake and diet quality of adult working women were different between the summer and the winter. So nutritional education programs for summer and winter are needed for adult working women.

농산물 및 농식품 수출 확대를 위한 방안 연구 (A study on a plan to increase produce and agricultural foods export)

  • 본 연구는 농산물 및 농식품 수출 확대를 위한 애로요인과 문제점, 개선 방안을 조사·연구하여 향후 우리나라 농산물 및 농식품의 세계화를 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는데 연구의 목적을 두고 실행하였다. 농산물 및 농식품 수출 문제점은 전반적으로 모두 높다고 인식하였고, 신규 바이어 발굴 및 해외시장 개척과 마케팅 전문인력 부족이 가장 큰 원인으로 조사되었다. 농산물 수출 지원제도의 문제점은 인지도는 상당히 높지만 절차가 까다롭고 지원에 있어 업체의 선정수가 적어 알고는 있으나 혜택을 받지 못한다는 문제점이 지적되었다. 이를 위해서는 수출 지원제도에 대한 홍보와 교육이 필요하고, 더불어 수출 지원제도의 확대와 제도의 개선이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 마지막으로 수출 증대 방안과 관련하여 농산물 수출 증대 저해 요인으로 경영규모 및 생산기반 취약과 수출 마인드 및 전문 인력 미비가 가장 높게 나타난 관계로, 농산물 수출업체들이 대부분 중소기업이라는 점을 감안할 때 해외시장 개척과 마케팅활동의 역량이 부족하다는 것을 예측하고, 이들의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 정부차원의 해외시장 개척과 마케팅 협조 방안이 필요한 실정으로 분석되었다.

영양위험 농촌노인집단에 적용한 영양중재 프로그램의 추후관리 효과( I ) (The Effect of Follow-up Nutrition Intervention Programs Applied Aged Group of High Risk Undernutrition in Rural Area( I ))

  • This research was peformed to investigate the anthropometric data, blood profiles, and nutrient intakes of elderly persons living in a rural area. The subjects were 67 undernourished people who participated in follow-up nutrition intervention programs for9 weeks. Anthropometric data showed that the mean heights and weights in the management group were 157.6 cm and 59.1 kg, respectively, for the males and 152.6 cm and 51.0 kg, respectively, for the females. The mean BMIs of the management group were 23.8 kg/m$^2$ in the males and 22.4 kg/m$^2$ in the females. The total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, and albumin levels of the subjects were 181.7-191.4mg/dL, 48.3-53.0mg/dL, and 3.85-4.00g/dL, respectively. Energy, ash, P, Na, vitamin B$_1$, vitamin B$_2$, vitamin B$_6$, and niacin increased significantly after intervention for the management group. The mINQ, however, did not significantly increase after intervention. Also after intervention, there was no significant difference in mINQ between the management group and the comparison group. MAR (14) in the management group was significantly increased from 0.62${\pm}$0.2 before intervention to 0.68${\pm}$0.2 after intervention (p=0.022), and it was significantly different between the management group and the comparison group (p=0.017). MAR (8) in the management group was not significantly different (p=0.915) before and after intervention. However, MAR (8) between the management group and the comparison group did show a significant difference (p=0.031). MAR (3) in the management group was significantly increased from 0.48${\pm}$0.2 before intervention to 0.55${\pm}$0.2 after intervention (p=0.045), however, MAR (3) was not significantly different between the management group and the comparison group (p=0.093). For the probability of nutrient insufficiency, in the management group the probability of nutrient values below the EAR (except for Fe) decreased after intervention compared to before intervention. 춘천지역 고등학생의 식습관과 영양소 섭취평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Food Habits and the Evaluation of Nutrient Intakes of High School Students in Chuncheon)

  • 본 연구는 춘천지역에 살고 있는 고등학생들의 식습관과 영양소 섭취 실태를 평가하기 위하여 318명의 대상자들에게 설문조사와 24시간 회상법을 이용하여 식이조사를 하였다. 조사대상자들의 $30.8\%$는 아침식사를 자주 결식하였으며, $28.0\%$는 하루 한번 이상 자주 간식을 섭취하는 것으로 나타났다. 하루 평균 에너지 섭취량은 1740kca1이며 열량에 기여한 영양소의 비율은 탄수화물이 $61.6\%$, 단백질은 $16.0\%$, 지방은$23.1\%$였다. 칼슘과 철분의 섭취량은 부족했으며 특히 이들 영양소의 급원식품은 식물성식품에서의 섭취비율이 높아 이로 인한 체내이용율은 더 낮은 것으로 본다. 권장량의 $75\%$ 미만을 섭취한 사람들의 비율은 칼슘, 철분, 리보플라빈의 경우 모두 $68\%$이상이었다. 전체적인 식사의 질을 평가하는 지표로 쓰이는 평균적정섭취비(MAR)는 남학생이 0.79, 여학생이 0.78로 나타났다. 영양의 질적지수(INQ)는 칼슘(0.67), 철분(0.82), 리보플라빈(0.90)을 제외한 대부분 영양소들은 1이상이었다. 영양소 섭취수준이 영양권장량의 $75\%$ 미만인 경우는 영양소의 섭취가 부족함을 의미한다. 이와 같은 결과로 볼 때 춘천지역에 있는 일부 고등학생들은 많은 영양소 중에서도 특히 칼슘, 철분, 리보플라빈의 영양소를 충분히 섭취하지 않고 있음을 알수 있었다.

강릉지역 중학생의 영양소 섭취평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Nutrient Intake of Middle School Students in Kangneung)

  • 본 연구는 강원도 강릉시에 위치한 중학교 2학년에 재학중인 남녀 학생 270명을 대상으로 3일간 식사기록법을 이용하여 식이섭취를 조사한 후 1일 평균 영양소 섭취량을 파악하고 다양한 방법에 의해 영양소 섭취를 기준으로 식사의 질을 평가하였다. 조사대상자들의 하루 평균 에너지 섭취는 2114$\pm$502 kcal로 남학생은 2256$\pm$608 kcal 여학생은 1961$\pm$548 kcal로 조사되었으며 열량에 기여하는 탄수화물 : 단백질: 지질의 비율은 남학생이 61.3:16.8:21.9 여학생은 61.8:16.2:22.0으로 나타났다. 단백질은 71.7 g을 섭취하는 것으로 나타났는데 그중 동물성 식품으로 45.8%를 섭취하는 것으로 조사되어 질적으로 우수함을 알수 있었다. 영양권잘양 대비 영양소별 섭취량은 단백질 인, 비타민 B$_1$나이아신, 비타민 C는 권장량을 충분히 섭취하는 것으로 나타났으나 칼슘, 철분, 비타민A, 비타민 B$_2$는 권장량에 미달되었으며 칼슘 철분은 권장량의 75% 이하였다. 특히 칼슘은 47.3%로 칼슘 결핍 현상이 우려되는 수준이었으며 모든 영양소에 남년간의 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 영양섭취량을 권장량에 대한 비율로 나타낸 NAR은 모든 영양소에서 1보다 적게 나타났다. 특히 칼슘은 0.45로 심각성을 여실히 드러냈으며 비타민A는 0.59 철분은 0.54로 낮은 값을 나타냈고 비타민 A는 남녀간에 유의한 차이를 보였다. (p<0.001). 에너지 섭취 차이를 고려한 영양의 질적지수인 INQ 값은 단백질, 인, 비타민B$_2$는 1보다 낮아 에너지 섭취가 충분하더라도 영양부족인 것으로 조사되어 대상자들의 영양결핍 현상이 우려되며 그 개선안이 시급할것으로 생각된다. 영양권장량의 75% 이상 섭취한 집단에서 INQ값은 칼슘과 비타민 B$_2$를 제외한 모든 영양소에서 1이 넘는 것으로 나타났고 권장량의 50% 미만을 섭취하는 경우는 모든 영양소에서 1 미만으로 나타났으며 특히 칼슘, 철분과 비타민 A는 매우 낮은 값을 보였다. 이상의 조사 결과일부 청소년 중학생들은 칼슘, 철분, 비타민 A 그리고 비타민 B$_2$의 섭취가 권장량에 비해 부족한 것으로 나타났고 특히 칼슘과 철분의 섭취량은 심히 낮아 청소년들의 성장과 건강에 악영향을 끼칠 것으로 보인다. 따라서 이들 영양소에 대한 식생활의 영양적인 관리가 필요하며 학생과 학부모를 대상으로 영양교육이 절실히 필요한 것으로 생각된다.

  • Gobjectives and Methods to investigate into the course of incurable and relapse renal stones' differentiation of symptoms and signs and to effectively improve treatment of incurable and relapse renal stones through Oriental Medicine. To search for the papers about treatment of incurable and relapse renal stones from 1994 till 2004, and re-search papers about treatment for indicated differentiation of disease. Result and conclusions : 1. It is the kidney vacuity additionally the deficiency of qi(氣) in middle-burner that the incurable and relapse renal stones' differentiation of disease. 2. The cause is taking an overdose of attacking renal stones to eliminate dampness and heat medicine, aging, chrome disease. a sex act excess, insufficiency of congenital qi(氣), insufficient exercise, wrong treatment and stress. 3. Herb medicines are constituted supplementing kidney drugs for inhibition of renal stone's creation, drugs to diuresis and dissolve calculi, and drugs 10 exclude stasis blood(瘀血) on account of renal stones. 4. Anti-renal stone measures me sufficiently drinking water, not eating greasy food. taking medicine for supplementing kidney, diuresis and dissolve calculi by periods, and drinking substitute water to boll down medical herb as Lysimachiae Herba (金錢草) Polygoni Avicularis Herba(篇蓄).

기능성 소화불량증 변증도구 개발 연구 (Development of Instrument of Pattern Identification for Functional Dyspepsia)

  • With the high prevalence of functional dyspepsia in the world, it was difficult to get objective diagnosis, treatment and assessment for the reason that there were many different symptoms and signs. The purpose of this study is to develop a standard instrument of pattern identification for functional dyspepsia which will be applied to clinical research. The items and structure of the instrument were based on review of published literature. The advisor committee on this study was organized by 11 oriental division of gastroenterology professors of oriental medical colleges nationwide. The experts discussed developing the instrument, and we also took professional advices by e-mail. We divided the symptoms and signs of functional dyspepsia into 6 pattern identification, such as disharmony of liver and stomach, retention of undigested food, damp-heat in the spleen and stomach, simultaneous occurrence of cold and heat syndromes, deficiency and cold of the spleen and the stomach, and insufficiency of stomach eum. We got the mean weights to each symptom of six pattern identification which had been scored on a 5-point scale ranging from 1 to 5 by the 11 experts. We made out the Korean instrument of the pattern identification composed of 45 questions for functional dyspepsia. Although there are some limitations in our study, the instrument is meaningful and certain worth of its own. We hope to improve the instrument through the further clinical studies and discussions.

계란의 난각 처리와 보관 방법에 따른 품질 변화 (Changes of egg Quality according to eggshell treatment and storage condition)

  • Egg has been considered as one of the most important food sources in both nutritionally and economically. However, because the hazards of egg flow chains' complexity from producers to consumers and the insufficiency of cold chain systems in Korea are still remained, preventive measures for egg safety should be established. This experiment was carried out to investigate the changes of egg qualify during storage in order to find out the proper storage condition and eggshell treatment. Eggs were stored at cold condition $(5^{\circ}C,\;relative\;humidity;\;RH:\;65\pm3\%)$ and room Condition $(1st: Sep\; 6\~Nov\; 15,\;2001,\; 10\~30^{\circ}C,\;RH\;41\~86\%,\;2nd;\; Dec\;13,\;2001\~Feb\;21,\;2002,\;4\~23^{\circ}C,\;RH\;36\~89\%)$ after eggshell treatment (unwashed, washed and coated egg) during'10 weeks and examined weight loss and interior quality periodically. Weight loss was in decreasing order room washed > room unwashed > cold washed > cold unwashed > room coated > cold coated egg. And, Haugh unit was decreasing order room washed > room unwashed > room coated > cold washed > cold unwashed > cold coated egg. Our findings show that both coated eggs and refrigeration reduces the rate of decline in Haugh units and egg weight. And, washed eggs had lower average Haugh units and a higher weight loss than any of the eggshell treatment in both storage conditions. Conclusively, for washing eggshell, 150 ppm of sodium hypochlorite, regular exchange and temperature control of water should be consistent and also eggs should be dried immediately after washing. Also, national guidelines for temperature and moisture of storage places, transportation and expiration data should be established to keep quality and weight loss of eggs. Storage temperature that is a critical factor in the quality and safety of eggs should be kept under 12'c and labelling of expiration date should be obligatory.

식도염(食道炎)에 대(對)한 동서의학적(東西醫學的) 고찰(考察) (The study on oriental and western medicine of esophagitis)

  • We arrived at the following conclusions after we have studied esophagitis through the literatures of oriental and western medicine. 1. The western medical causes of acute esophagitis are corrosiveness chemical material, esophageal or gastric disease, trauma, blister stomatitis, filamentous fungus infection and uremia of chronic patient etc, and the oriental medical causes are qi and blood stagnation, blood stasis and stagnation, stagnant phlegm by coldness, heating, dyspepsia and food poisoning etc. 2. The western medical causes of chronic esophagitis are malfunction of lower esophageal sphincter, esophageal tom chink and hernia, increase of gastric pressure by overeating, fatness, pregnancy and ascites etc, and the oriental medical causes are asthenic cardiac qi, hepatic qi attacking stomach by seven kinds of depression, cold-damp stagnation and insufficiency of gastric qi by overeating, excessive drinking and sexual indulgence etc. 3. The main symptoms of acute esophagitis are severe chest pain, instantly vomiting, swallowing pain etc, and chronic esophagitis are occasionally light chest pain, heart bum, anorexia, dysphagia, dizziness, general body weakness etc. These symptoms are come under thoracic obstruction, acid regurgitation, vomiting and chest pain of oriental medicine. 4. The western medical diagnoses of acute and chronic esophagitis have used radiation test, esophageal endoscopy, esophageal pressure test and biopsy etc, and the oriental medical diagnoses have used syndrome differentiation by four examination of inspection, listening and smelling examination, inquiring, pulse-taking and palpitation. 5. The western medical treatments of acute esophagitis have regarded preservation stability of esophagus as a principle, and the oriental medical treatments mainly have used expelling pathogen of expelling cold and regulating qi, cooling and removing stasis, promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis, eliminating phlegm and regulating qi. 6. The western medical treatments of chronic esophagitis have regarded decrease flowing backward of gastric juice as a purpose, and the oriental medical treatments mainly have used strengthening body resistance of replenishing and strengthening cardioqi, dispersing stagnated hepatoqi, expelling cold and dehygrosis, invigorating stomach and nourishing qi.

무치악 연구개 결손 환자에서 총의치형 연구개 폐색 장치를 제작한 증례 (Prosthetic rehabilitation of soft palate resection edentulous patient with maxillary obturator)

  • 본 증례는 서울대학교 치과병원 치과보철과로 내원한 76세 남성 환자의 총의치 기능을 겸하는 연구개 폐색 장치의 제작에 관한 증례이다. 상환은 편도암으로 인해 연구개 및 편도 부위 절제 후 발음이 잘 되지 않고 음식물이 코로 넘어간다는 주소로 내원하였다. 제작과정에서 CT를 3차원으로 재구성하여 연구개 결손부위의 형태를 관찰하고, 비성도 검사와 비내시경 검사를 통해 발음 및 연하의 개선여부를 확인하였다. 환자는 발음과 저작 및 연하에 있어서 만족할만한 결과를 보여 본 증례를 보고하는 바이다.
