Determinants of Rural Tourism Demand (농촌관광수요의 결정요인)

  • This study aims to examine the effects of GDP as a proxy variable of income, consumer price index as a proxy variable of price, and foot-and-mouth disease and avian influenza as derby variables on rural tourism demand. The independent variables in this research were gross domestic product(GDP), consumer price index(CPI), and dummy variable(DM) such as food & mouth disease & highly pathogenic avian influenza. Results showed that GDP affected tourism demand positively whereas DM influenced negatively. The study suggested that it was important for policy-mconsider GDP and DM when making decision on strategic tourism management. In conclusion, first, gross domestic product was found to have a statistically significant effect on rural tourism demand. Second, avian influenza was found to have a statistically negative effect on rural tourism demand. The results of this study can be used to establish a reasonable rural tourism policy in the future economic dimension.

A Study on the meaning of the Soeumin's Softness and Non-softness in the mouth (소음인의 구중화(口中和), 구중불화(口中不和)의 의미에 대한 고찰)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine the meaning of the Soeumin's Softness and Non-softness in the mouth(口中和, 口中不和). Methods We examined The Existing Doctors's using of the Softness and Non-softness in the mouth, and considered Jema Lee's using of the Softness and Non-softness in the mouth. Afterward, we considered the meaning of the Soeumin's Softness and Non-softness in the mouth in 『Donguisusebowon(東醫壽世保元)』. Results and Conclusion 1. Junggyeong Jang used the Softness in the mouth, and he didn't use the Non-softness in the mouth in 『Sanghanlun(傷寒論)』. 2. The Next Generation Doctors used the Softness in the mouth, and they didn't use the Non-softness in the mouth. Especially, Dongwon Lee used the Softness in the mouth as the Knowing the taste of food, and used the Non-softness in the mouth as the Non-knowing the taste of food. 3. Jema Lee used the Softness and Non-softness in the mouth as urgent indicator of the Soeumbyeong diarrhea in 『Gabobon(甲午本)』, and used the Softness and Non-softness in the mouth as classification indicator of the Taeeumbyeong and Soeumbyeong in 『Sinchuckbon(辛丑本)』. 4. The Non-softness in the mouth is Jema Lee's specific term. It means dry of mouth, thirsty and the Non-knowing the taste of food. 5. The change from the Non-softness to Softness in the mouth is recovery indicator of the Soeumin's disease. It is the basis for setting the Drinking water(能飮水) as the Soeumin's igiljeung(二吉證).

Subjective Oral Health Status of the Elderly and Social Impact Efficacy (노인의 주관적 구강건강상태가 사회적 효능감에 미치는 영향)

  • The study of the elderly and poor oral status interpersonal relationships and smooth social life limited to give is the social alienation and isolation, promoting to having problems with a sense of the elderly subjective oral health status and social efficacy affects whether analyzed. 1. Subjective oral health status authoring feel healthy food disorders, toothache, periodontal problems, tmj pain, dry mouth, bad breath symptoms such as 'sometimes' 'often' than a 'no' if you appear to be a highly subjective and social efficacy Efficacy of oral health status and social influence were more (p<0.01). 2. Subjective oral health status of the seven kinds of sub-variable that oral health status, food authoring disorders, toothache, gum disease, jaw joint or more, dry mouth, bad breath instantly and look at the relationship between social efficacy oral health status, ability of mastication, pain in oral, gum disease, tmj pain, dry mouth, presence of halitosis than positive (+) was correlated.

Study on knowledge and awareness of elementary school students about Foot-and-mouth disease (초등학생들의 구제역에 대한 지식과 인식 조사)

  • Foot-and-mouth disease occurs in cattle or wild animal with two hooves such as cow, pig, sheep, goat, and deer. In this study, survey on knowledge, awareness, and lifestyle about foot-and-mouth disease was performed on 398 elementary school in 5 regions in Gyeonggi-do. 49 people (92.5%) from the group who have been educated about the foot-and-mouth disease replied that they have heard of foot-and-mouth disease and 139 people (68.5%) from the group who have not been educated about the disease replied that they have not heard of the disease. About the knowledge regarding "Foot-and-mouth disease virus is destroyed at temperatures above $50^{\circ}C$, so cooked food is free from the virus", only 26 people (49.1%) from the educated group and 82 people (40.4%) have correct knowledge. When asked about when education on disease such as foot-and-mouth disease, both groups replied that the education should be done in elementary school. The FMD includes in Korea and is a disease where the infection occurrence is happening continuously from the various nation. Must prepare with a recognition and the knowledge where the people are proper.

  • The risk mitigation service based on network provides monitoring of the risk event data to be inputted and analyses its big data to be stored in real time. Furthermore, it performs the analysis of the plant disease risk such as a red tide, and livestock disease risk such a food-and-mouth disease, avian influenza, and rinderpest, and provides the mitigation service. The standardization road map for risk mitigation is the real time acquisition monitoring of risk events, and mitigation service for the risks.
