Many techniques have been developed for reconstruction of the hand; however, less attention has been paid to foot reconstruction techniques. In particular, reconstruction of the forefoot and big toe has been considered a minor procedure despite the importance of these body parts for standing and walking. Most of the weight load on the foot is concentrated on the forefoot and big toe, whereas the other toes have a minor role in weight bearing. Moreover, the forefoot and big toe are important for maintaining balance and supporting the body when changing directions. Recently, attention has been focused on the aesthetic appearance and functional aspects of the body, which are important considerations in the field of reconstructive surgery. In patients for whom flap reconstruction in the forefoot and big toe is planned, clinicians should pay close attention to flap survival as well as functional and cosmetic outcomes of surgery. In particular, it is important to assess the ability of the flap to withstand functional weight bearing and maintain sufficient durability under shearing force. Recovery of protective sensation in the forefoot area can reduce the risk of flap loss and promote rapid rehabilitation and functional recovery. Here, we report our experience with two cases of successful reconstruction of the forefoot and big toe with a sensate anterolateral thigh flap, with a review of the relevant literature.

Objective This study aimed to analyze the efficacy and safety of Tuina therapy for attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) through a randomized controlled clinical study in China. Methods We used the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) as a resource and conducted a search using key words: 'ADHD', '推拿'. Six randomized control studies were identified and analyzed in this study. Results 1. The Tuina treatment group showed significant changes compared to the control group. 2. The most commonly used meridians were Spleen meridian (脾經穴), Liver meridian (肝經穴), Errenshangma (二人上馬穴), Xiaotianxin (小天心), Qinghetianshu (清河天水), Kidney meridian (腎經穴). Conclusions The results of this study showed that Tuina therapy is effective for ADHD patients with ADHD. It can be used for future research on Tuina therapy for ADHD.

In a market situation full of brands and products, packaging requires a differentiated design that reflects the needs and trends of the times, as well as the characteristics of the product. Therefore, in this study, through literature reviews, market research methods, questionnaire surveys, eye-tracking experiments, etc., we derived related research and current status of ramen package design, and visual expression elements that induce consumers' subjective perception and interest. As a result, the ramen package design was generally simplified and tended to visualize the spicy taste. Second, consumers buy bag ramen once a week on average at a large discount mart, consider the color of the ramen package design as important, and recognize that the aesthetics of the package design can improve quality. Finally, the spicy phrases and ramen illustrations were the first visual elements of the ramen package design, and for the longest time, attention was focused on the brand name.

The stock market changes continuously as new information emerges, affecting the judgments of investors. Online news articles are valued as a traditional window to inform investors about various information that affects the stock market. This paper proposed new ways to utilize online news articles with technical indicators. The suggested hybrid model consists of three models. First, a self-attention-based convolutional neural network (CNN) model, considered to be better in interpreting the semantics of long texts, uses news content as inputs. Second, a self-attention-based, bi-long short-term memory (bi-LSTM) neural network model for short texts utilizes news titles as inputs. Third, a bi-LSTM model, considered to be better in analyzing context information and time-series models, uses 19 technical indicators as inputs. We used news articles from the previous day and technical indicators from the past seven days to predict the share price of the next day. An experiment was performed with Korean stock market data and news articles from 33 top companies over three years. Through this experiment, our proposed model showed better performance than previous approaches, which have mainly focused on news titles. This paper demonstrated that news titles and content should be treated in different ways for superior stock price prediction.

As attention to the Internet from both companies and individuals is rapidly on the increase, hundreds of new websites are opening in a single day. Along with such a high attention to the Internet, to set up an effective website needs efficient evaluation and reliable evaluation criterions for the website. The existing homepage contests and evaluation models are limited to certain websites in a special field or to the systemic side and to the contents, which in fact weakened the development of detailed evaluation sections and items possibly measured. This study is designed to integrate and seek out methods and success factors that should be considered when a website is built up, discovering evaluation criterions and making evaluation models objectively possible to be measured. The study focused on investigation into a new measurement standard and model by considering the previous studies, in order to suggest the followings: Centering the 7 top evaluation sections by type of each website such as (1) Service, (2) Mechanism, (3) Structure & Navigation, (4) Usability, (5) Contents (6) Community, (7) Communication, the study suggests an objective and reasonable website evaluation model on a basis of common factors considered in an integral and optimum view.

The purpose of this study is to review Korean literature concerning sibling relationships during the last three decades and investigate facts and trends, research issues, and pragmatic and policy issues related to sibling relationship development. Most of the past research has been concerned with the effects of sibling status/structure variables on siblings' individual differences in intellectual, social and personality characteristics. In recent years, however, considerable attention has been focused on the interpersonal relationships between siblings and the factors influencing such relationships. More specifically, sibling relationships and adjustment of siblings of children with disabilities begin to draw attention of researchers and practitioners. This review consists mainly of two parts : one on siblings of children with no disabilities and the other on siblings with one disabled child.

For rapid and abrupt control of a missile in supersonic flight, side jet on a missile body is found to be a useful devise as evidenced by recent missile development at several nations. The magnitude of the side jet and the duration of it decide the level of control of such a missile system. In this paper, the aerodynamic characteristics of the side jet devise itself are examined in terms of key parameters such as the side jet nozzle contour, the chamber pressure and temperature. Specifically attention is focused on the effect of the chamber shape between the straight nozzle and the bended nozzle by 90 degrees. The flow properties as well as the thrust level are compared between the two shapes. Particular attention is paid at the way the nozzle is bended at the joint. Effects of the length and the divergence angle of the nozzle on the thrust magnitude are also quantified among the three different side jet nozzles.

This study was intended to identify the persuasion effects of online cosmetic advertising according to scarcity message type and product type. For the experiment, 4 stimuli were developed as experimental stimuli for the 2(scarcity message type: quantity scarcity message vs distinctiveness scarcity message) X 2(product type: hedonic product vs utilitarian product) factorial design. Participants were 160 students, and they allocated 40 students in each group. They responded a questionnaire. The results were as follows. First, distinctiveness scarcity message showed more effective than quantity scarcity message in advertising attitude, product attitude, brand attitude, and purchase intention. Second, hedonic product showed more effective than utilitarian product in advertising attitude, product attitude, brand attitude, advertising attention, click-through intention, and purchase intention. Third, there was interaction effect according to scarcity message type and product type on the aspect of advertising attitude, advertisement attention, and click-through intention.

Recently, much attention has been focused on video databases. Video documents also have a hierarchical logical structure like text documents. By exploiting this structure using structure queries, users can obtain greater benefits than by using only content queries. In order to process structure queries efficiently, an index structure supporting fast video element access must be provided. However, there has been little attention to the index structure for video documents. In this paper, we present a tree-structured video document model and a new inverted index structure for video documents. We evaluate the storage requirement and the disk access time of the scheme and present the analytical results.

In the construction industry, most safety related researches have been focused on the safety matters in construction job site while the safety issues regarding facility management have been received limited attention. Hence, this research aimed to uncover the problems of current safety management practices then suggest improvement plans. Through the questionnaire suey and analysis, following conclusions were drawn. Regarding the safety mindset, participation rate in safety prevention activities is average at most. Therefore, the extra attention and effort by property owners and managers are required. Examination of accidents indicated that 88% of them were stemmed from unsafe activities, 10% from unstable mentality and 2% from unavoidable natural disasters. Therefore, 90% of these accidents could be prevented by eliminating unsafe activities. In addition to the above findings, several other facts and suggestions are detailed.
