발렌티노 드레스에 표현된 꽃이미지의 입체적 장식기법 (Three-dimensional Decorative Techniques of Flower Image Represented on Valentino Dress)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide basic data of dress design by researching three-dimensional decorative techniques representing flowers, a popular motif in dress design. This study analyzed 44 dresses that were presented in Valentino collection. The result of this study is as follows: First, the detailing expression method can show various patterns and colors through embroidery technique, sub-materials, and bonding techniques in embroidery, beads flower, and ribbon flowers. Second, the fabric flower technique expressed flower image in three-dimension in more various images than do either the ribbon or beads flower technique. Fabric flowers are mostly made from the same material as dresses. The expression technique of fabric flower is classified into the following three classifications: 1) A technique underlying a flower image with one, two and three large flowers, 2) a technique decorating a large area with a number of an identical motif, and 3) a technique highlighting a part of the body or design line by attracting eyes to one point, creating a corsage decorated where a designer wants to emphasize. Third, a silhouette technique realizes a flower image with a silhouette of a dress like sculpted structure and it is thus used less than a detailing expression technique. A flower image is expressed by making use of body lines or emphasizing the face. Finally, flower images on a dress were realized as a full blossomed flower, through visually streamlined shapes and curved lines.

Fashion Design using Art Flower Technique - Based on Transparency Image -

  • This paper aims to propose fashion designs based on the application of art flower technique to translucent clothing material. For study method, firstly I looked into art flower applications occurred in modern trend since 2000 as well as theoretical research on art flower and transparency expressed as artificial beauty. Second, I attempt to express transparency in a variety of unique ways by using the art flower technique in producing clothes. Third, I utilized transparent flower with translucent clothing material and tried to suggest fashion design attempting mixture of new materials. As a result, firstly transparent image and material are well fitted in with modern trend and especially it was very suitable for expressing feminine beauty. Second, transparency was the element to suggest creative formative world in fashion design in regard to flower's beauty, various shapes and colors and to provide infinite materials as design motive. Third, the combination of knit clothing and plastic art flower displayed a new form of material combination. Especially as translucent material is fitted with trend such as function, lightness and variableness in modern times of the $21^{st}$ century, it presents beautiful combination with transparent flower. Fourth, Silk flower technique is variously used in art flower techniques. Various possibility ranges are presented such as flower was recreated with artificial image by silk flower technique to be newly expressed and various materials like aesthete film can be also expressed with silk flower technique.

매화꽃을 모티브로 한 패션 문화 상품 디자인 개발 (Development of Fashion Culture Goods Designs Motivated by Ume Flowers)

  • This study was aimed to develop ume flower image into a competitive fashion culture product image by reinterpreting the image in modern terms, manufacturing patterns and applying them to various items. In terms of method, ume flower petal was used as a motive and developed into a pattern, using Adobe Illustrator 10, a computer design program. Based on the symbolic image and realist form of ume flower, three new basic motives of new figurative image were set using form omission, simplification, overlapping, repetition and graphic elements. Each motive developed transformed patterns through the change, transformation, combination of colors. The repetitive unit of each motive set expressed geometrical patterns and combination of flower patterns using pattern repetition and $45^{\circ}$ repetition technique in combination with the check arrangement using quadrangle, and set the direction of design that would fit for each item of fashion culture products. Also, consistency and practicality were sought in the goods planning composition of each item by applying motive pattern results to the fashion culture goods, such as neckties, scarves, T-shirts that can be consumed in everyday life. It seems that more creative culture goods including ume flowers will be developed by seeing our own cultural elements as well as flower patterns like ume flower with modern trends.

제주신화 서천꽃밭의 생불꽃을 응용한 텍스타일 패턴디자인 (Textile Pattern Design Using Saengbul Flower in Seo-Cheon Flower Garden of Jeju Myth)

  • The purpose of this study is to establish a new method to develop the textile pattern design using Saengbul flower in Seo-cheon flower garden of Jeju Myth, in other words, to create mythic textile patterns by borrowing effectively from the mythic image of Saengbul flower. Seo-cheon flower garden is an incantation space and Saengbul flower means pregnance. Therefore, we drew Camellia flower motifs from a mythic image based on archetypal symbols about the Saengbul flower, and created mythic patterns. In order to achieve this textile pattern design, Adobe CS5(Photoshop, Illustrator) and Texpro were used to design the motifs of Saengbul flower, and then they were arranged in a square pattern and diamond pattern of Richard M. Proctor' set layout. And to conclude, development of the creative textile pattern design using the mythic contents of the Jeju Myth contribute to invigoration the fashion industry and regional culture contents projects in Jeju, and also become the basis of creating added valued to it.

  • The color image of the rose was segmented by the cluster analysis on the color space into the characteristic sub-regions, the degree of bloom of the flower was represented numerically base on the segmented image and judged by the artificial neural network system whose input variable were the characteristic regions. Judgement by neural system were compared with that of the farmers and it was found that degree of agreement were fairly good.

꽃문양이 표현된 패션스타일에 대한 한국 여성의 선호도와 감성이미지 (Korean Women's Preferences and Emotional Images Associated Fashion Design with Flower Printings)

  • Flower images are used as a design motif in various fields. Flower printings in clothes, in particular, usually represent nature. This study sets out to identify the characteristics of different fashion styles with flower printings, as well as the preferences and emotional images of Korean women in their 20s. The flower printings used in fashion design were classified into 5 types of styles: Modern, Natural Romantic, Maximalism, Neo-Hippie, and Ethnic style. Literature review and survey were conducted to identify the emotional images associated with the flower printings, as well as women's preferences. Through literature review, this study noted the formative elements of flower printings and their characteristics, as expressed in fashion designs. Then, the different styles were classified in order to provide theoretical foundation for the survey. The results of the study were significant in that they contributed to the definition and academic systemization of the characteristics of fashion styles with flower printings. Moreover, the study opened up possibilities for utilizing flowers to express a greater variety of meanings and influences in fashion. The findings can be used to enable fashion styles and emotional influences to be expressed through designs using natural motifs besides flowers.

남성복에 나타난 문양의 감성이미지와 선호도 (The Sensibility Image and Preference Degree of Pattern which Appeared on Men′s Clothing)

  • This study examined the trend of pattern which appeared throughout men's clothing fashion magazine from 1999 to 2002 and the influence which the demographic characteristic have on the sensibility dimension of pattern and the preference degree of kinds of pattern. The results of study were as follows. 1) The pattern which was used most frequently on recent men's clothing was a length stripe, and the representation technique which was used most frequently on recent men's clothing was the technique of a geometric expression. 2) The pattern which men and women preferred most out of ten kinds of patterns-length stripe, width stripe, oblique stripe, check, square, waterdrop, paisley, flower of style shape, flower of realistic shape, flower of shape-was a length stripe. 3) The sensibility dimension of pattern image was composed of fascination, dignity, daring, gentleness, and reality. 4) Because sensitivity dimension and kinds of pattern were significant according to the distinction of sex, vocation, academic career, income, this study can conclude the demographic characteristic have an influence on sensitivity dimension and kinds of pattern.

화훼박람회 전시요인의 체험마케팅이 소비자 구매의향에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Experience Marketing of Exhibition Factors in Flower Fair on Intension of Customer Purchase)

  • 최근들어, 우리는 문화의 세기를 맞으면서 각 지방자치단체에서 지역의 활성화와 지역을 알리기 위한 방안으로 국제회의를 비롯한 박람회, 전시회 등 지자체 행사에 심혈을 기울이고 있으며 각 지방자치 지역의 경쟁력을 다른 자치단체보다 지역의 브랜드를 부각시키기 위해서 화훼 박람회나 전시회를 문화행사로 개최하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 지자체의 화훼박람회를 개최하는 주최자에게 화훼박람회 전시요인의 중요성을 부각시키고 화훼박람회전시에 체험요소를 알려 화훼전시회에 참가율을 높이고 화훼농가의 매출을 증대시키고자 한다. 더 나아가, 화훼박람회를 이용하는 관람객들이 화훼박람회 요인과 체험마케팅이 구매의향에 어느 정도 관심을 가지는지를 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 최근에 화훼박람회에 참석한 278명의 관람객을 대상으로 화훼박람회 전시요인의 체험마케팅이 구매의향에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 한다. 인구학적통계로는 성별은 여성이 61.9%로 높게 나타났으며, 연령층은 20대가 34.5%로 가장 많았다. 결혼여부는 기혼이 50.7%로 많았고, 직업은 학생이 36.7%로 가장 많았다. 학력은 대학교 졸업이 58.3%, 평균소득은 100만원대 48.6%, 거주지는 서울이 38.1%로 높았고 화훼박람회장 방문은 1회가 79.9%로 가장 높았다. 이를 대상으로 기술통계분석과 신뢰도분석을 하였으며 타당도 검증으로 요인분석을 실시하였고 상호 상관성을 보기위해 상호관계를 분석하여 최종 회귀분석을 통한 검증으로 요인들 간의 영향력을 분석하였다. 화훼박람회 전시환경은 문화적인 요소에, 전시품질은 이벤트요소, 문화요소에, 전시서비스는 이벤트요소와 문화요소와 이미지요소에, 전시마케팅은 문화요소와 이미지요소에, 이미지요소는 구매의향에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Alsat-2B/Sentinel-2 Imagery Classification Using the Hybrid Pigeon Inspired Optimization Algorithm

  • Classification is a substantial operation in data mining, and each element is distributed taking into account its feature values in the corresponding class. Metaheuristics have been widely used in attempts to solve satellite image classification problems. This article proposes a hybrid approach, the flower pigeons-inspired optimization algorithm (FPIO), and the local search method of the flower pollination algorithm is integrated into the pigeon-inspired algorithm. The efficiency and power of the proposed FPIO approach are displayed with a series of images, supported by computational results that demonstrate the cogency of the proposed classification method on satellite imagery. For this work, the Davies-Bouldin Index is used as an objective function. FPIO is applied to different types of images (synthetic, Alsat-2B, and Sentinel-2). Moreover, a comparative experiment between FPIO and the genetic algorithm genetic algorithm is conducted. Experimental results showed that GA outperformed FPIO in matters of time computing. However, FPIO provided better quality results with less confusion. The overall experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach is an efficient method for satellite imagery classification.

전통 문양을 활용한 자카드 직물 패션 마스크 디자인 개발과 이미지 감성 평가 (Development and Image Sensibility Evaluation of Jacquard Fabric Fashion Masks with Traditional Patterns)

  • This study aims to develop jacquard fashion masks using traditional patterns and investigates the preference and emotions of consumers for them. Nine patterns were designed with the motifs of plum flower, turtle, and geometric patterns using an Adobe Illustrator program. After that, 20 kinds of jacquard fabrics were developed using those patterns, and prototype masks were made. Furthermore, data were collected using a survey of 231 adult consumers to understand the emotional images evoked by jacquard fashion masks with traditional patterns. The results of the research show that the emotional dimension derived from jacquard fashion masks with traditional patterns consists of seven factors: luxurious image, frugal image, feminine image, oriental image, sporty image, geometrical image, generous image. We found that consumers preferred the M6 with the plum flower pattern as the motif as the most preferred design, while M13 with the geometric pattern as the motif was the lowest preferred.
