고정된 사각형 수중 및 부유식 구조물에 의한 고립파의 처오름높이 저감 수치모의 (Numerical Simulation on Reduced Runup Height of Solitary Wave by Fixed Submerged and Floating Rectangular Obstacles)

  • 파의 처오름높이는 제방, 호안 및 방파제와 같은 해안 구조물의 설계에 영향을 미치는 가장 중요한 매개변수 중 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 비정수압 수치모형인 SWASH(Zijlema et al., 2011)를 이용해 고정된 수중 및 부유식 사각형 구조물에 의한 고립파의 처오름높이 저감 효과를 분석하였다. SWASH 수치모형이 고립파의 전파, 쇄파 및 처오름현상을 매우 잘 재현하는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 수중 및 부유식 사각형 구조물에 의한 고립파의 파랑변형을 잘 재현하는 것을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 수중 및 부유식 사각형 구조물의 처오름높이 저감 효과를 검토하였다. 부유식 구조물의 에너지 감쇠효과는 수중 구조물보다 크고, 처오름높이 저감에 더 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

음향정보 및 광학영상 기반의 수상 및 공중 드론의 협력적 장애물회피 기법 (Collaborative Obstacle Avoidance Method of Surface and Aerial Drones based on Acoustic Information and Optical Image)

  • Recently, the researches of aerial drones are actively executed in various areas, the researches of surface drones and underwater drones are also executed in marine areas. In case of surface drones, they essentially utilize acoustic information by the sonar and consequently have the local information in the obstacle avoidance as the sonar has the limitations due to the beam width and detection range. In order to overcome this, more global method that utilizes optical images by the camera is required. Related to this, the aerial drone with the camera is desirable as the obstacle detection of the surface drone with the camera is impossible in case of the existence of clutters. However, the dynamic-floating aerial drone is not desirable for the long-term operation as its power consumption is high. To solve this problem, a collaborative obstacle avoidance method based on the acoustic information by the sonar of the surface drone and the optical image by the camera of the static-floating aerial drone is proposed. To verify the performance of the proposed method, the collaborative obstacle avoidances of a MSD(Micro Surface Drone) with an OAS(Obstacle Avoidance Sonar) and a BMAD(Balloon-based Micro Aerial Drone) with a camera are executed. The test results show the possibility of real applications and the need for additional studies.

연직인장계류된 원형부유체의 파랑응답에 관한 연구 (A Study on Wave Responses of Vertical Tension-Leg Circular Floating Bodies)

  • 본 연구에서는 규칙파동장에 있어서 인장계류된 원형부유체의 파랑응답해석에 2차원 Navier-Stokes solver에 기초한 새로운 수치파동수조모델을 제안하였다. 본 수치파동수조모델에서는 이동구조물과 유체와의 상호작용을 해석하기 위하여 직각좌표계에서 임의형상의 불투과경계를 갖는 구조물과 유체와의 연성해석이 가능한 IBM(Immersed Boundary Method)과 자유수면 추적을 위한 VOF(Volume of Fluid)법을 결합하였다. 부유체운동에 대한 수치결과를 기존의 FAVOR(Fractional Area Volume Obstacle Representation)법에 의한 계산결과 및 수리실험과 비교하였다. 게다가, 수치모델의 보다 자세한 검증을 위하여 원형부유체의 동요 및 자유수면변동에 관한 수리모형을 추가로 실시하였고, 제안된 수치모델의 범용성과 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 직사각형부유체에 대한 수치 및 수리실험도 병행하였다. 이로부터 추정된 수치계산결과는 실험결과를 잘 재현하고 있는 것으로 판단되었다.

In particular, domestic leisure space with a growing population and the need for securing emerging role as a reservoir of water only in the past, who do appeal as a tourist destination or as an ecological space utilized, and accordingly will transform and the need to secure a hydrophilic, degrade water quality problems using this aquatic environment (water acquisition and hydrophilic), the requirements are a big obstacle is the reality factor. This patented product differentiation strategy through the analysis of the development of technology progressiveness (Field Application) in terms of water quality improvement and maintenance side, and the hydrophilic side scenery, ecological restoration aspects, and applicability to the field and taking into account existing technology economic aspects of distinction were presented and advertised a lot in terms of cost compared to other techniques without the use of highly efficient methodology for building a water purification and also appears identity appeal, wetlands, rivers, etc. can be applied broadly technician widespread deployment and installation time to less simple and more are expected to spread.

트렌치 게이트를 이용한 Floating Island IGBT의 전기적 특성에 관한 고찰 (Electrical Characteristics of Floating Island IGBT Using Trench Gate Structure)

  • IGBT (insulated gate bipolar transistor) has been widely used around the power industry as it has good switching performance and its excellent conductance. In order to reduce power loss during switch turn-on state, it is essential to reduce its resistance. However, trade off relationship between breakdown voltage and device conductance is the greatest obstacle on the way of improvement. Floating island structure is one of the solutions. Still, under optimized device condition for the best performance, improvement rate is negligible. Therefore, this paper suggests adding trench gate on floating island structure to eliminate JFET (junction field effect transistor) area to reduce resistance and activate floating island effect. Experimental result by 2D simulation using TCAD, shows 20% improvement of turn-on state voltage drop.

주민참여형 수상태양광 발전사업에 대한 국민 선호도 분석: 선택실험법을 이용하여 (Analyzing Public Preference for Community-Based Floating Photovoltaic Projects: A Discrete Choice Experiment Approach)

  • The need for floating photovoltaic is being emphasized to expand renewable energy but low residents' acceptance is a major obstacle to the deployment of floating photovoltaic. Using the discrete choice experiment, this study analyzed the preferences for community-based floating photovoltaic projects and proposed a method to increase the residents' acceptance of floating photovoltaic projects. The estimates of the marginal willingness to accept (MWTA) of the distance, the coverage ratio, the landscape, the project owner (public institution), and the project owner (large company) are -0.69%p/km, 0.13%p/%p, -0.57%p, -2.95%p, -1.73%p, respectively. According to the result of simulation analysis, the residents' acceptance is significantly higher when the project is operated by a public institution, with a choice probability of 58%, than when the project is operated by a private company, with a choice probability of 29%, 12% for a large and small company, respectively. In addition, as a result of the analysis of the expected returns, the results show that the closer the distance from the residence to the power plant, the higher the expected return.

4족 보행 로봇의 장애물 회피와 축구하기 (Obstacle Avoidance and Playing Soccer in a Quadruped Walking Robot)

  • In this paper, we introduce an intelligent quadruped walking robot that can perform stable walking and a couple of intelligent behaviors. The developed robot has two sets of ultrasonic sensors and six sets of infrared sensors and can perform obstacle avoidance by detecting obstacles and estimating the distances and directions of those obstacles. The robot also has a stereo camera and can paly soccer by detecting a ball and estimating the 3 dimensional coordinates of the ball. In performing those intelligent behaviors, the robot needs to have the capability of generating its walking patterns, solving the inverse kinematics problem, and interfacing several sensors in realtime. Therefore we designed a hierarchical controller that consists of a main controller and an auxiliary controller. The main controller is a 32-bit DSP that can perform fast floating-point opertaion and the auxiliary one is a 8-bit micro-controller. We showed that the developed quadruped walking robot successfully perform those intelligent behaviors through experiments.

3차원 부유체의 유체-물체 연성해석 (FLUID-BODY INTERACTION ANALYSIS OF FLOATING BODY IN THREE DIMENSIONS)

  • Fluid-body interaction analysis of floating body with six degree-of-freedom motion is presented. In this study, three-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes equations are employed as a governing equation. The numerical method is based on a finite-volume approach on a cartesian grid together with a fractional-step method. To represent the body motion, the immersed boundary method for direct forcing is employed. In order to simulate the coupled six degree-of-freedom motion, Euler's equations based on rigid body dynamics are utilized. To represent the complex body shape, level-set based algorithm is utilized. In order to describe the free surface motion, the volume of fluid method utilizing the tangent of hyperbola for interface capturing scheme is employed. This study showed three different continuums(air, water and body) are simultaneously simulated by newly developed code. To demonstrate the applicability of the current approach, two different problems(dam-breaking with stationary obstacle and water entry) are simulated and all results are validated.

Comparison between Two 450 mm Multi-Electrode Models

  • In semiconductor industry, it is expected that plasma process which use 450 mm source will be used at next generation. However, main obstacle of the large area plasma source is plasma uniformity from it. When electrode is enlarged, field difference between center area and side area reduces the plasma uniformity [1-3]. Therefore we investigate multi-electrode which diminish this field difference.We designed two multi-electrode models. One has two segments and the other has five segments. Each multi-electrode model is connected with two power generator and two matchers. One generator and one matcher is connected with center electrode part. The other one generator and the other one matcher is connected with side electrode part. The ion density is measured at 29 points by using floating harmonic method [4-6]. After measuring the data of each multi-electrode model, we discuss the difference of profile between two models' data.

개조된 케이슨 플로팅 도크의 구조 보강에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Structural Reinforcement of the Modified Caisson Floating Dock)

  • 선박 수리시장은 선박에 의한 환경오염 방지 강화, 선박구조에 대한 안전기준 강화 등의 영향으로 유지 및 보수에 관한 관심이 꾸준히 증대되고 있다. 이러한 영향을 반영하여 서남해에 있는 수리 조선사들에 외국 선사들의 수리 요청 접수 건수가 증가하고 있다. 그러나, 서남해권 수리 조선사들은 영세한 중소업체가 대부분이라서 수리조선 업체의 통합적 시너지 효과로 이어지기가 쉽지 않고, 집적화가 되어있지 않아서 인프라 공동활용이 어려워서 수리조선업 활성화에 걸림돌로 작용하고 있다. 수리조선업을 운영하기 위해서는 플로팅 도크가 필수적으로 필요로 하며, 대부분 노후화된 케이슨 도크를 해외로부터 수입한 후, 개/보수를 통하여 운용하고 있다. 그러나, 사용 수명이 30년 이상이고, 구조물 검사 기준이 없어서 안전분야에 취약성을 갖고 있다. 본 연구에서는 개조된 케이슨 도크의 구조 안전성을 평가하고, 도출된 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 추가적인 구조 보강안을 찾기 위하여 유한요소해석 프로그램인 ANSYS를 활용하였다. 플로팅 도크의 경우, 선급 규정이 있지만 구조강도 관련해서는 규정이 미흡하여 적용성이 떨어지고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 부족한 평가 영역에 대해서는 상세 구조해석을 통하여 보완하였다. 보강안은 수리조선소 작업의 특성을 고려하여 폰툰 갑판 상부 보강과 선측 탱크 보강으로 결정하였다. 결정안에 대한 구조해석을 통하여 선측 보강안을 최종안을 선정하였고, 실제 구조물을 제작하여 보강안을 반영하였다. 도출된 주요 결과들은 유사 설비의 구조 강도 개선을 위한 참고 자료로 활용 가능하며, 개/보수 시 이러한 방법을 활용하면 빨리 최적 해를 찾을 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
