The radiation problem for oscillating bodies on the free surface has been formulated by the over-determined Green integral equation, where the boundary condition on the free surface is satisfied by adopting the Kelvin-type Green function and the irregular frequencies are removed by placing additional control points on the free surface surrounded by the body. The B-Spline based higher order panel method is then applied to solve the problem numerically. Because both the body geometry and the potential on the body surface are represented by the B-Splines, that is in polynomials of space parameters, the unknown potential can be determined accurately to the order desired above the constant value. In addition, the potential expressed in B-Spline can be differentiated analytically to get the velocity on the surface without introducing any numerical error. Sample computations are performed for a semispherical body and a rectangular box floating on the free surface for six-degrees of freedom motions. The added mass and damping coefficients are compared with those by the already-validated constant panel method of the same formulation showing strikingly good agreements.
Bluff bodies under the external periodic force vibrate at their own natural or forced frequency. Rectangular bodies or similar structures such as high-rise towers and apartments, and recently a well-cited application - offshore floating bodies, usually needs to reduce these vibrations for stability and the mode control. Therefore, this study is aiming to reduce or control the vibration of a structure by a passive control method, i.e., TLCD (Tuned Liquid Column Damper). Controlling a moving body with a TLCD based on a variety of the orifice shape has been preliminary studied. In order to get a proper control, an optimized study is made on the design of the orifice shape, which has internal plates with the holes. The results show the force acting on the body due to the periodic movement highly depends on the number of holes on the plate and the height of the water level. Therefore, the optimum shape of the orifice and the height of the water level should be confirmed by a series of experiments.
The SangHanIlJeGeum(傷寒-提金) explain the six channel of disease. The Greater Yang controls the construction and defence, and governs the exterior of the body, which serves as the body's external barrier. Accordingly, many of the signs associated with greater yang appear in the early stages of disease. The essential features of greater yang disease are a pulse that is floating, headache, stiffness and pain of the head and nape, heateffusion, and aversion to cold. The main feature of Yang brightness disease is yang hyperactivity and heat exuberance. An evil can directly enter the yang brightness channel from the exterior, but it usually passes into the channel from the greater yang. Yang brightness disease is generally characterized by generalized heat effusion, spontaneous sweating, aversion not to cold but to heat, and a pulse that is large. Distinction is made between a heat patter and a repletion pattern.

Hydroelastic interactions of a deformable floating body with random waves are investigated in time domain. Both hydroelastic motion and structural dynamics are solved by expansion of elastic modes and Fourier transform for the random waves. A direct and efficient structural analysis in time domain is developed. In particular, an efficient way of obtaining distributive loads for the hydrodynamic integral terms including convolution integral by using Fubini theory is explained. After confirming correctness of respective loading components, calculations of full distributions of loads in random waves are expedited by reformulating all the body loading terms into distributed forms. The method is validated by extensive convergence tests and comparisons against the counterparts of the frequency-domain analysis. Characteristics of motion/deformation responses and stress resultants are investigated through a parametric study with varying bending rigidity and types of random waves. Relative contributions of componential loads are identified. The consequence of elastic-mode resonance is underscored.
A far field approximate solution of the slowly varying force on a 3 dimensional offshore structure in gravity ocean waves is presented. The first order potential, or at least the far field form of the Kochin function, of each frequency wave is assumed to be known. The momentum flux of the fluid domain is formulated to find the time variant force acting on the floating body in bichromatic waves. The second order difference frequency force is identified and extracted from the time variant force. The final solution is expressed as the circular integration of the product of Kochin functions. The limiting form of the slowly varying force is identical to the mean drift force. It shows that the slowly varying force components caused by the body disturbance potential can be evaluated at the far field.
This work investigates the device degradation p-channel PD SOI devices at various applied voltages as well as stress temperatures with respect to Body-Contact SOI (BC-SOI) and Floating-Body SOI (FB-SOI) MOSFETs. It is observed that the drain current degradation at the gate voltage of the maximum gate current is more significant in FB-SOI devices than in BC-SOI devices. For a stress at the gate voltage of the maximum gate current and elevated temperature, it is worth noting that the $V_{PT}$ Will be decreased by the amount of the HEIP plus the temperature effects. For a stress at $V_{GS}$ = $V_{DS}$ . the drain current decreases moderately with stress time at room temperature but it decreases significantly at the elevated temperature due to the negative bias temperature instability.

Partially-depleted Silicon on insulator metal-oxide-semiconductor field- effect transistors (PD-SOI MOSFETs) with Silicon-germanium (SiGe) layer is investigated. This structure uses SiGe layer to reduce the kink effect in the floating body region near the bottom channel/buried oxide interface. Among many design parameters influencing the performance of the device, Ge composition is presented most predominant effects, simulation results show that kink effect is reduced with increase the Ge composition. Because the bandgap of SiGe layer is reduced at higher Ge composition, the hole current between body and SiGe layer is enhanced.
Because the magnetic bearing supports levitating body without contact, wear, noise and vibration, it is very useful to high revolution machinery. In this paper we selected ATmega 128, a less expensive and widely used micro controller, for control the magnetic bearing system. And we selected the sampling time and the control gain of PID controller through trial-and-error. The control program of the one board controller utilized lookup table to reduce calculation time, and bit shifting for the integer calculation in instead of floating point calculation. As the results, the controller carried out relatively high speed PID control on sampling time 0.25 ms. At last the rotation test for the magnetic bearing system was carried out by 3 phase induction motor and air turbine.
In this paper, we propose a high-speed, low-power complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) binary image sensor featuring a gate/body-tied (GBT) p-channel metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (PMOSFET)-type photodetector based on a double-tail comparator. The GBT photodetector forms a structure in which the floating gate (n+ polysilicon) and body of the PMOSFET are tied, and amplifies the photocurrent generated by incident light. The double-tail comparator compares the output signal of a pixel against a reference voltage and returns a binary signal, and it exhibits improved power consumption and processing speed compared with those of a conventional two-stage comparator. The proposed sensor has the advantages of a high signal processing speed and low power consumption. The proposed CMOS binary image sensor was designed and fabricated using a standard 0.18 ㎛ CMOS process.

Two-dimensional flexible body analysis (hydroelasticity theory) is adopted to a very large floating structure that may be multimodule and extend in the longitudinal direction. The boundary-element method (BEM) and Green function method(GFM) are used to obtain the hydrodynamic coefficients. The structure is considered to be a flexible beam responding to waves in the vertical direction and a consistent formulation for the hydrostatic stiffness is derived. The resulting coupled equations of motion are solved directly. Two designs of the module connectors are considered: a rotationally-flexible hinge connector, and a rotationally-rigid connector Numerical examples are presented to an integrated system of semi-submersibles. The analysis provides basic motions and section forces, which are useful to develop an understanding of the fundamental modes of displacement and force amplitudes for which multi-module VLFSs must be designed. The results show that while the hinge connectors result in greater motion, the rigid connectors increase substantially the sectional moments.
