용접형 판형 열교환기의 열전달 및 압력강하 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental study of Heat Transfer and Pressure Drop Characteristics for the Welded Plate Heat Exchanger)

  • Heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics of welded plate heat exchanger are studied to apply it for the solution heat exchanger of 210RT absorption system. This study quantifies the effect of mass flow rate and strong solution concentration on the heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop in the plate heat exchanger. The concentration of weak solution is fixed at 55% and the strong solution varies 55%, 57%, and 59% in mass. The results show that the overall heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop increase linearly with increasing Reynolds number. It is also found that the heat transfer coefficient of hot side increases with increasing the concentration of strong solution while the strong solution concentration has no effect on heat transfer coefficient of cold side.

  • Plate-type phosphor is a promising substitute in overcoming the issues related to the powder phosphor paste mixed with resin. In this research, $Ca-{\alpha}-SiAlON:Eu^{2+}$ plate phosphor ($Ca_xSi_{12-(m+n)}Al_{m+n}O_nN_{16-n}:Eu_y$) was investigated for the varied compositions (m,n) of the host crystal with the fixed Eu content (y). Densification was promoted for the compositions with increasing 'm' values for the m=2n relationship. Dictated by the Eu concentration inside the phosphor crystal, photoluminescence intensity was stronger in ${\alpha}2$ specimen (m = 3.0, n = 1.5) containing the second phases when compared to ${\alpha}1$ specimen (m = 1.5, n = 0.75) comprising a single-phase ${\alpha}$-SiAlON. The concentration of Eu in the non-emitting amorphous interfacial glass phase was 2~4 times of the designed Eu concentration inside the ${\alpha}$-SiAlON crystal.

  • Collecting and labeling sufficient training data, which is essential to deep learning-based visual inspection, is difficult for manufacturers to perform because it is very expensive. This paper presents a steel plate surface defect detection system with industrial-grade detection performance by training a small amount of steel plate surface images consisting of labeled and non-labeled data. To overcome the problem of lack of training data, we propose two data augmentation techniques: program-based augmentation, which generates defect images in a geometric way, and generative model-based augmentation, which learns the distribution of labeled data. We also propose a 4-step semi-supervised learning using pseudo labels and consistency training with fixed-size augmentation in order to utilize unlabeled data for training. The proposed technique obtained about 99% defect detection performance for four defect types by using 100 real images including labeled and unlabeled data.

  • In this paper, we propose a 3D automated measuring system which measures the mandibular movements and the reference plane of the jaw movements. In diagnosis and treatment of the malocclusions, it is necessary to estimate the mandibular movements and the reference plane of the jaw movements. The proposed system is configured with double stereo-cameras, PC, two moving pattern plates(MPPs), two fixed pattern plates(FPPs) and one orbital marker. The virtual pattern plate is applied to calculate the homogeneous transformation matrices which describe the coordinates systems of the FPP and MPP with respect to the world coordinates system. To estimate the parameters of the hinge axis, the Euler's theorem is applied. The hinge axis points are intersections between the FPPs and the hinge axis. The coordinates of a hinge axis point with respect to the MPP coordinates system are set up to fixed value. And then, the paths of the jaw movement can be calculated by applying the homogeneous transformation matrix to fixed hinge axis point. To examine the accuracy of the measurements, experiments of measuring the hinge axis points and floating paths of them are performed using the jaw motion simulator. As results, the measurement errors of the hinge axis points are within reasonable boundary, and the floating paths are very similar to the simulator's moving path.

  • The Ritz method Is applied In a three-dimensional (3-D) analysis to obtain accurate frequencies for thick. linearly tapered. annular plates. The method is formulated for annular plates haying any combination of free or fixed boundaries at both Inner and outer edges. Admissible functions for the three displacement components are chosen as trigonometric functions in the circumferential co-ordinate. and a1gebraic polynomials in the radial and thickness co-ordinates. Upper bound convergence of the non-dimensional frequencies to the exact values within at least four significant figures is demonstrated. Comparisons of results for annular plates with linearly varying thickness are made with ones obtained by others using 2-D classical thin place theory. Extensive and accurate ( four significant figures ) frequencies are presented 7or completely free. thick, linearly tapered annular plates haying ratios of average place thickness to difference between outer radius (a) and inner radius (b) radios (h$_{m}$/L) of 0.1 and 0.2 for b/L=0.2 and 0.5. All 3-D modes are included in the analyses : e.g., flexural, thickness-shear. In-plane stretching, and torsional. Because frequency data liven is exact 7o a\ulcorner least four digits. It is benchmark data against which the results from other methods (e.g.. 2-D 7hick plate theory, finite element methods. finite difference methods) and may be compared. Throughout this work, Poisson\`s ratio $\upsilon$ is fixed at 0.3 for numerical calculations.s.

사판식 액시얼 피스톤 펌프의 가변용량 시스템의 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Characteristics of a Compensator System for Swash Plate Type Axial Piston Pump)

  • Recently, the importance of variable displacement piston pump is increasing in industrial world. Especially, most consumers require various range of pressures and flow rates. Pressure compensator is a system controlling flow rate in piston pump at low cost and, therefore, satisfies the need of consumers. However, the system has serious problems, such as response and leakage. The response and leakage are affected by clearance between actuator piston and cylinder, roughness of surface, and spool overlap. In this paper, these effects are investigated experimentally, and optimal clearance and chamfer is obtained. While diameter of cylinder is fixed and diameter of actuator piston is changed in this experiment, response and leakage are measured. Also parameters such as roughness and processing accuracy are changed for piston of fixed clearance. Experimental setup modelled into several parts of actuator piston, cylinder, spool, and swash plate. Input pressure is changed by function generator and proportional valve. The result of this experiment shows that leakage increases very much in proportion to the increase of clearance, and especially leakage occurs enormously when clearance is more than 0.002. The response is not good because as clearance increases leakage increases and as clearance decreases viscous damping effect increases. Accordingly, it is found out that optimal clearance range exists for tile response, within about 0.0012∼0.0014, at this time. Futhermore, the better roughness and geometrical accuracy of actuator piston are, the smaller are leakage and friction. The paper informs that response and leakage are influenced by and geometrical accuracy of actuator piston, roughness of surface, and the clearance between actuator piston and cylinder, and that optimal design of actuator piston in the pressure compensator is possible.

딥러닝과 의미론적 영상분할을 이용한 자동차 번호판의 숫자 및 문자영역 검출 (Detection of Number and Character Area of License Plate Using Deep Learning and Semantic Image Segmentation)

  • 자동차 번호판 인식은 지능형 교통시스템에서 핵심적인 역할을 담당한다. 따라서 효율적으로 자동차 번호판의 숫자 및 문자영역을 검출하는 것은 매우 중요한 과정이다. 본 연구에서는 딥러닝과 의미론적 영상분할 알고리즘을 적용하여 효과적으로 자동차 번호판의 번호영역을 검출하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 화소 투영과 같은 전처리과정 없이 번호판 영상에서 바로 숫자 및 문자영역을 검출하는 알고리즘이다. 번호판 영상은 도로 위에 설치된 고정 카메라로 부터 획득한 영상으로 날씨 및 조명변화 등을 모두 포함한 다양한 실제 상황에서 촬영된 것을 사용하였다. 입력 영상은 색상변화를 줄이기 위해 정규화하고 실험에 사용된 딥러닝 신경망 모델은 Vgg16, Vgg19, ResNet18 및 ResNet50이다. 제안방법의 성능을 검토하기 위해 번호판 영상 500장으로 실험하였다. 학습을 위해 300장을 할당하였으며 테스트용으로 200장을 사용하였다. 컴퓨터모의 실험결과 ResNet50을 사용할 때 가장 우수하였으며 95.77% 정확도를 얻었다.

  • 초대형 부체구조물은 파랑중 유탄성 변형이 심하게 발생하기 때문에 수평식 몰수평판과 같은 파랑에너지 흡수장치의 부가적인 개발이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 몰수평판에 의해 야기되는 유체력 간섭현상이 폰툰형 부체구조물에 작용하는 라디에이션 유체력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 수치적인 해석을 통하여 그 특성을 파악하고자 한다. 폰툰형 부체구조물과 몰수평판의 상하운동에 의해 발생하는 라디에이션 유체력을 계산하기 위해 고정격자계와 이동격자계로 구성되는 중합격자법을 토대로 한 수치계산법을 개발한다. 또한 쇄파현상과 같은 비선형성이 강한 자유표면 문제를 해결하기 위하여 유한차분법을 적용하여 시뮬레이션을 실시하고 그 결과를 실험데이터와 비교함으로서 수치계산법의 신뢰성을 확인한다. 몰수평판에 의해 발생하는 유체력 간섭 영향의 특성을 분석하여 부체구조물의 파랑중 유탄성 변형에 미치는 그 효과에 대하여 논의한다.

동적인 임계화 방법과 코호넨 알고리즘을 이용한 차량 번호판 인식에 관한 연구 (A Study on Recognition of Car License Plate using Dynamical Thresholding Method and Kohonen Algorithm)

  • 본 논문에서는 동적인 임계화 방법과 코호넨 알고리즘을 이용하여 차량 번호판을 인식하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 일반적으로 차량 영상에서 번호판 영역은 문자와 배경의 자기가 뚜렷하게 구별되고, 일정한 크기 비율을 가지면서 다른 영역보다 밀집 비율이 높게 나타난다. 본 논문은 이런 차량 영상의 속성을 이용하여 차량 영상에 대해 동적인 임계화를 수행하였고 밀집 비율을 계산하여 번호판 영역을 추출하였다. 추출된 번호판에서 문자와 숫자를 포함하는 특징 영역을 추출하기 위해 코호겐 알고리즘을 적용한 윤곽선 추적 방법을 이용하였다. 번호판의 문자와 숫자들은 코호넨 알고리즘을 이용하여 인식하였다. 코호넨 알고리즘은 윤곽선에서 생성되는 잡음을 최대한으로 줄여주는 특성을 가진다. 다양한 환경에서 촬영된 80장의 영상에 대하여 인식 실험을 수행한 결과, 제안된 방법이 차량 번호판의 인식에 우수한 성능을 보였다.

하악골 과두하부 골절 실험모델에서 견고정을 위한 플레이트 고정방법 연구 (Study of the Plating Methods in the Experimental Model of Mandibular Subcondyle Fracture)

  • Purpose: This study examined the biomechanical stability of four different plating techniques in the experimental model of mandibular subcondyle fracture. Methods: Twenty standardized bovine tibia bone samples ($7{\times}1.5{\times}1.0cm$) were used for this study. Each of the four sets of tibia bone was cut to mimic a perpendicular subcondyle fracture in the center area. The osteotomized tibia bone was fixed using one of four different fixation groups (A,B,C,D). The fixation systems included single 2.0 mm 4 hole mini adaption plate (A), single 2.0 mm 4 hole dynamic compression miniplate (B), double fixation with 2.0 mm 4 hole mini adaption plate (C), double fixation with a 2.0 mm 4 hole mini adaption plate and 2.0 mm 4 hole dynamic compression miniplate (D). A bending force was applied to the experimental model using a pressure machine (858 table top system, $MTS^{(R)}$) until failure occurred. The load for permanent deformation, maximum load of failure were measured in the load displacement curve with the chart recorder. Results: Double fixation with a 2.0 mm 4 hole mini adaption plate and a 2.0 mm 4 hole dynamic compression miniplate (D) applied to the anterior and posterior regions of the subcondyle experimental model showed the highest load to failure. Conclusion: From this study, double fixation with an adaption plate and dynamic compression miniplate fixation technique produced the greatest biomechanical stability. This technique may be considered a useful means of fixation to reduce the postoperative internal maxillary fixation period and achieve early mobility of the jaw.
