For the purpose of this study, ten casual wear brands, which are highly perceived by and popular with high school and university female students, were chosen by a preliminary inquiry. And then focused group interviews were performed to develop a questionnaire. The main examination was performed from August 20 to September 12, 2000, using five types of surveys each of which contained two brands. SPSS 8.0 was used for factor analysis and recession analysis. Four types of brand relationships were categorized based on the results of factor analysis: self-devotion, intimacy, rejection and trust. • This study examined the cooking method in "Eumsikdimibang", "Gyuhapchongseo" and "Jusiksiui" over time. The Korean cook book, "Jusiksiui", published in the late 1800s, was mainly investigated. The results showed that"Jusiksiui" contained more than 99 foods. In particular, there were 49 side dishes, including five types of porridge three types of noodles, and four types of dumplings. Most food recipes in "Jusiksieu" are the same as those in "Gyuhapchongseo". Results of comparison between "Gyuhapchongseo" (1809) and "Jusiksiui" (late 1800's), Korea's significant archives of Korean recipes, showed that approximately 50 recipes out of 99 recipes were the same as those indicated by "Yeolgujatang" and "Seunggiactang" as hospitality foods and "Gochujang", "Jeupjang", and "Jeupjihi" as traditional paste foods. This indicates that recipes in "Gyuhapchongseo" were transcribed into those in "Jusiksiui". Thus, "Jusiksiui" is the archive that includes recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation in a traditional family and transcribed archive of "Gyuhapchongseo", which was widely read by midwives in the late 1800's.

  • This paper aims to evaluate works of Frege and G$\ddot{o}$del, who play the trigger role in development of logic, by Knowledge Change Model. It identifies where their positions are in the model respectively. For this purpose I suggest types of knowledge change and their criteria for the evaluation. Knowledge change are classified into five types according to the degree of its change: improvement, weak glorious revolution, glorious revolution, strong glorious revolution, and total revolution. Criteria to evaluate the change are its contents, influence, pervasive effects, and so forth. The Knowledge Change Model consists of the types and the criteria. I argue that in the model Frege belongs to the total revolution and G$\ddot{o}$del to the weak glorious revolution. If we accept that the revolution in logic initiated by Frege was completed by G$\ddot{o}$del, it is a natural conclusion.

  • It is well known that FTA increases consumer welfare. However, it is difficult to analyze consumer welfare effects of FTA for item by item because of the difficulty in data collection. In this respect, this study aims at analyzing the types of increasing consumer welfares with item by item. According to the result of the study, there are five types of consumer welfare increased by FTA, and the items are like below: banana, kiwi, octopus, wine, and etc. However, it is hard for consumer to feel effects of FTA directly for several reasons. The problem of distribution structure of imported goods and, tariff reductions over long period are parts of the reasons to reduce the consumer wealfare effects. And the lack of consumer awareness about imported goods also reduces them. In order to promote FTA more efficiently, this study suggests that the government must improve the problems mentioned because consumer consent is essential element for further FTA promotion.

  • Dysarthrias are a sort of neuromotor disorders because of the weakness of neuromotor controls. They are classified in six types on the basis of Mayo clinic research: flaccid, spastic, ataxic, hypokinetic, hypekinetic and mixed types. Five dysarthria types are investigated in this study. MRI, EMG, neuropathological tests are essential diagnostic processing. Visi-Pitch and Spectrgraphy, CSL are used for assessing dysarthria speech. Maximum phonation time, diadochokinetic rate, Voice Onset Time and substitution rate are the speech evaluation parameters. Maximum phonation time and diadochokinetic rates are the lowest in case of spastic and ataxic dysarthrias. Spastic dysarthria shows the substituted glottalized consonants. However, flaccid, ataxic and hypokinetic dysarthrias show the substituted aspirated consonants. VOT is the longest for hypokinetic dysarthria and the shortest for ataxic dysarthria. Jitter shows higher percentage in comparison with control group. Speech evaluation using experimental phonetic instruments help create on international standardization of speech evaluation for speech disorders.

  • For a ideal construction of shoes, the exact analysis for shape and size of foot is necessary. This study was performed to classify and analyze the foot types of young males and females. For this, methods of cluster analysis, correspondence analysis and value of proportion were used. The subjects were 414 college students and 36 items, weight(1 item), height(8 items), length(6 items), breadth(6 items), girth(7 items), depth(3 items), slope(5 items) on foot were measured. The fundamental results of the study were as follow ; Difference in foot shape between men\`s and women\`s feet was not found below ankle girth. Based on cluster analysis the shapes of foot were classified into five groups, small but relatively slim group, small but relatively barrel group, middle group, large but relatively slim group and large but relatively barrel group. The types of foot had the distinguished dominant characteristics according to sex, weight and height. The results of this study show that there must be the suitable design of shoes for each foot type.
