The purpose of this study is to develop brassiere patterns which are both fitting and functional for women aged 19 to 24(the 1924 generation). We suggested a 'size chart for body measurements' for constructing basic brassiere patterns with six sizes of '70, 75', 'AA, A, B cups', which are used most frequently by the 1924 generation consumers. The scope of research was in reference to the statistical analysis results of the Size Korea(2004) body measurements and the results of the data from the preceding research. The 'drafting method for constructing basic brassiere patterns for the 1924 generation consumers' was completed by selecting a total of 18 subjects, 3 for each six sizes in the scope of research, and three wearing tests were carried out with the subjects. We compiled one brassiere pattern in six sizes obtained with the drafting method of constructing a basic brassiere pattern on another by block pattern in order to observe the phase of change in dimensions and shapes of paper pattern. The result was converted into the variations of a x-axis and a y-axis, and we suggested 'Size Grading Rule' and 'Cup Grading Rule' for the basic brassiere patterns. As the results of the wearing evaluation of the basic brassieres and measuring the variation in body dimensions by wearing brassieres, the dimensions and shapes of the basic brassieres suggested in this research proved to be fitting and to have a wearing effect that brings together and supports the breasts.
The purpose of this study is to analyse the research trends and to find a future direction in the area of clothing construction in Korea. The data were included articles on clothing construction published in the five major journals from 2000 through 2008 in Korea. The identified 513 articles were categorized in eight areas: design related clothing construction, study of body types, study of patterns, size of apparel, fitting of clothing, protective clothing and functional clothing, sewing and the others. In the results of examining the percentage of articles on clothing construction among articles published in each journal, the percentage of articles on clothing construction was highest as 21.2% in the Journal of Korean Home Economics and next, 19.3% in the Research Journal of the Costume Culture. As to the percentage of research on clothing construction according to theme, research on protective clothing and functional clothing were largest as 28.2%, and next, research on body types as 18.9%, and research on garment size systems as 10.5%. Research on protective clothing has increased remarkably since 2000, and particularly in 2004 it was so active that it occupied 44.1% of research on clothing construction. Next, with regard to the subjects of research, research with female subjects was more frequent than that with male subjects according to gender, and research with men and women in their twenties was most frequent according to age. These results show somewhat unbalanced tendencies in terms of research subjects.
Purpose The purpose of this study is to develop a virtual try-on deep learning model that can efficiently learn front and back clothes images. It is expected that the application of virtual try-on clothing service in the fashion and textile industry field will be vitalization. Design/methodology/approach The data used in this study used 232,355 clothes and product images. The image data input to the model is divided into 5 categories: original clothing image and wearer image, clothing segmentation, wearer's body Densepose heatmap, wearer's clothing-agnosting. We advanced the HR-VITON model in the way of Mixed-Precison, Gradient Accumulation, and sharing model weights. Findings As a result of this study, we demonstrated that the weight-shared MP-GA HR-VITON model can efficiently learn front and back fashion images. As a result, this proposed model quantitatively improves the quality of the generated image compared to the existing technique, and natural fitting is possible in both front and back images. SSIM was 0.8385 and 0.9204 in CP-VTON and the proposed model, LPIPS 0.2133 and 0.0642, FID 74.5421 and 11.8463, and KID 0.064 and 0.006. Using the deep learning model of this study, it is possible to naturally fit one color clothes, but when there are complex pictures and logos as shown in <Figure 6>, an unnatural pattern occurred in the generated image. If it is advanced based on the transformer, this problem may also be improved.
This study develops a traditional green fabric pattern design through an apparel CAD system. The method used simulated stage costumes and evaluated the consumer satisfaction connected with a 3D fitting system. The results are as follows. Computerization of the pattern making process can provide higher accuracy and efficiency in apparel pattern making and marking for green fabrics. A Stage costumes design was developed; subsequently, the developed dress patterns are automatically depicted to the input of the body size of the consumer and marked using marking program. This results show that it has an effect on narrow and expensive green fabrics. Stage costumes design can make a simulation by a 3D Fitting system. The results of this study can provide higher consumer satisfaction through a survey of 30 consumers. Stage costumes should attract the sympathy of the spectators. The Acceptance of Andong region's traditional beauty is required. We found that a relationship of performance and clothes, physical functionality and beauty of costumes, possibility of commercialization, and the possible use of a 3D Fitting system use are evaluated. A continuous study of regional culture resources is required since there is a significant possibility for the long-term development of stage clothes.
The purpose of this study was to examine how the garment sizes by junior brand manufactures reflect Tween Generation's (ages from 5th grade to 9th grade) actual body sizes. They have diverse clothing preferences in styles and fitting levels as well as diverse body sizes and shapes. The subjects of this study were 520 students (the 5th and 6th grades in elementary schools, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades in middle schools) who lived in Jeonju. A questionnaire was used in this study. The data were analyzed by frequency, means, t-test and $\chi^2$. The results were as follows. In the selection of garment size, both the girl and boy students most preferred selecting garments after trying them on by themselves. Boy students tended to select garment size according to their mothers' advice. On the other hand, elementary school students showed a tendency to select garment size with their mothers. In fitting sizes, middle school girls wanted the size to fit tightly rather than loosely on their bodies much more than elementary school girls. Junior brand manufacturers produced sizes that well reflected actual body sizes of elementary and middle school girls. Specifically, the pants best covered their body sizes.

The manufacturer first identifies a target market before developing a sizing chart. A target market is specific for age or figure type. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the suitability of sizing system of women's apparel brand in Korea. For this purpose, the characteristics of the manufacture's sizing chart for jacket and skirt/pants were analyzed. For each brand, the target age of the brand and the age of consumers who preferred that bland were compared. The size charts collected from 27 women's apparel brands were analyzed and compared with Korean industrial standard sifting chart. The results of this study reviled that the body proportion in many manufacturer's sizing chart does not correspond to the body types in Korean industrial standard sizing chart. This trend was apparent for the short figure sizes made for women 155cm in height. There is a difference between the target age in brand concept and the age of consumer preferring to purchase that brand apparel. The age of fitting models usually does not correspond the customer's age. It was concluded that the age of target customer does not go well with the age of brand concept nor the fitting model age caused fit problem of the women's ready-made clothes.

This study analyzed the reality of avatar size when it was automatically changed by different height and waist circumference inputs. This study focused on analyzing 22 of 28 avatar parts created by the 3D Clo virtual fitting program, based on the height and 'waist circumference of 2,247 woman samples from the $6^{th}$ Size Korea survey data. The 'waist back L'. and 'bishoulder L'. of the avatars were shorter than the bodies; however, the avatars' 'waist H'. and 'arm L'. were longer. Differences between the avatar and body increased in the taller groups. The body proportion of tall avatars was more distorted than small avatars. There were also some exaggerations in some circumferences. The 'bust C'. of the avatar was larger in the group with thin upper torsos; however, the 'hip C'. and 'upper arm C'. were larger in the group with thick upper torsos. The avatar torso silhouette of each somatotype was not representative of the real body silhouette as the 'hip C'. and 'bust C'. always increased together.
The feeling of self-confidence, the sense of well-being and of social acceptance that comes from the wearing clothes that is functional, appropriate, and attractive, is important to all the people, but to those with physical limitations, it is much more important. Finding well-fitting clothing can be a big challenge for them. This study focus on the cut of present available ready-to-wear garments and commercial patterns giving better fit and greater comfort and satisfaction. Subjects were limited to the people with body deformities caused by the brain injury. This can also meet the needs of silver groups in the aging society under the terms of human values and human rights. This study is based on the questionaires and interviews to identify the problems of ready-to-wear or commercial patterns, purchasing behaviors, and the demand for the functional clothes. This study focused on following objectives; 1) to discover what the problems are which confront the people with body deformity, 2) to find the problems in ready-to-wear garments or commercial patterns, 3) to provide information of pattern alteration f3r people with body deformities. A major limitation to the study is that the subjects numbers are limited and the distribution is not even. For the future study, large database with wide varieties of age and fitting test are suggested.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the size of ready-made clothing for elderly women and to evaluate their fit according to body type. Subjects were 33 women aged 60 and older, and they were classified by stature and drop index. The size of clothing which manufactured by four apparel brands were measured and compared with body size, and the size designation of four brands was compared. The questionnaire was carried out to subjects, and the size recognition and dissatisfaction with ready-made clothing were analyzed. The fitting test were carried out, and the subjects evaluated the fit of jackets and slacks of four brands. In the result of questionnaire, we found that subjects had little recognition about their clothing size. Subjects responded that they often felt dissatisfaction in their jacket length, sleeve length, shoulder width, bust girth, slacks, and waist girth. We found that each apparel brands had different sizing system and that even if the size designation of label was same, the clothing size was quite different. So the elderly women who didn't have so much knowledge about their own clothing size had a tendency to confuse with choosing proper clothing for themselves. In the wearer's evaluation, the significant difference in the degree of unsatisfaction were certified in several body parts according to wearer's body type. Especially, the degree of unsatisfaction in the case of subjects of having very small stature or very small hip was higher than other body types. From the result, we certified that it was necessary to consider the characteristics of each body type to increase the satisfaction of elderly women with clothing.
