안면도의 농촌어메니티자원 특성 분석 (Characteristics of Rural Amenity Resources for Anmyeon-island)

  • This survey is focused on analyzing amenity resources for the purpose of offering basic sources for balanced development and the activation of sightseeing in Anmyen-island which has superior landscape resources and the result follows as this. 1. As a result of selecting "Amenities characterized in isles" and comparing their applications in order to choose amenity resource surveying method which is suitable for the isle districts where beaches, tidelands, fishing villages and so on are formed, it was considered that the surveying method of the rural amenity resource in the Korean Society of Rural Planning could be properly used. 2. In spite of a variety of amenity resources besides ten beaches, Anmyeon-island has been developed only focused on beaches. Therefore, it is highly recommended to develop new sightseeing courses which connect beaches with adjacent amenity resources such as theme programs. 3. It proved that compared with Anmyeoneup, Gonammyeon has superior landscape resources and higher special product rates, which is caused by the fact that it doesn't have various kinds of amenities. As diverse fish inhabit the sea and tidelands in Gonammyeon, it is beneficial for activating sightseeing tours to develop fishing village experiencing programs including going fishing. 4. Anmyen-island can be divided into East district and West distict by the national road no,77 and two districts have different distributional features of sightseeing amenity resources. In the west district, amenity resources such as coastal sightseeing routes, large event halls, and resorts have been activated in addition to fourteen beaches which have already been developed while the amenity resources in the east like fishing villages, tidelands, and salt fields have not been activated. Accordingly, for activating balanced sightseeing development in Amyeon-island, it is required to make plans which can incorporate the east amenity resources of sea sightseeing and the west amenity resources of fishing village experiencing programs. As a way, constructing sightseeing routes connecting the west and the east district or making a detour lane connecting beaches in the west, Anmyeon pine trees in the center, and fishing villages in the east.

Forskolin Effect on the Lineage Specification of Trunk Neural Crest Cells in vitro

  • Recent evidence has suggested that trunk neural crest cell generally assumed to have equivalent differentiation potentials, demonstrate differentiation bias along the anterior/posterior axis. In amphibian and fish, neural crest cells give rise to three chromatophore types, melanophores, xantho-phores, and iridophores. Each pigment cell type has distinct characteristics but there is speculation about the cellular plasticity that exists among them. Neural crest cells migrate along specific routes, ventromedially and dorsolaterally. Neural crest cells that travel dorsolaterally are the first cells to begin migration in the axolotl and are the major contributors to the visible pigment pattern. Many factors and mechanisms that are responsible for guiding migratory neural crest cells along potential pathways or determining their fate remain unknown. A single lineage of the crest, which becomes restricted to one of the three pigment cell types, gives us the opportunity to examine the existence of neural crest stem cell populations and cellular plasticity. Study presented here showed results from recent in vitro studies designed to identify parameters influencing differentiation events of individual neural crest-derived pigment cell lineages. Melanophore production from neural crest explants originating from different levels along the anterior/posterior axis of wild type-axolotl embryos were compared and demonstrate that the differentiation of melanophores is enhanced in subpopulation of neural crest treated with forskolin. Forskolin (an adenylate cyclase activator) increases intracellular CAMP concentration and eventually activates the protein kinase-A signaling pathway. Melanophore number, melanin content, and tyrosinase activity in explants taken from the anterior-most region of the crest increased significantly in response to forskolin treatment. This study suggests implications of region specific influences and developmental regulation in the development of pigment pattern.

꽁치의 어업생물학적 연구 2. 회유 (STUDIES ON THE FISHERY BIOLOGY OF THE PACIFIC SAURY, COLOLABIS SAIRA OF THE EAST COAST OF KOREA 2. Migration)

  • 우리나라 동안의 꽁치에 대해서 1968년, 1970년 및 1971년 $1\~7$월의 어획통계 자료와 1968년의 체장측정자료를 이용하여 꽁치의 체형군에 따른 회유를 고찰한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 어장내의 전어군의 분포중심의 이동은 북상 회유에서나 남하 회유에서나 대체로 $130^{\circ}\~130^{\circ}30'$의 범위를 중심으로 이루어지고 있으며, 각월의 동서 방향으로의 편배의 정도는 해에 따라 대단히 심하다. 이 중심의 이동은 해황외에 해에 따른 체형군별의 자원량의 크기와도 깊은 관계를 가질 것이라 추측된다. 2. 체형군을 분류하는 기준체장의 주년에 걸친 변화곡선을 구한 결과는 다음과 같다. 5, 6월에 있어서 중형군을 구분하는 체장의 변화곡선은 $Y=24.807X^{0.0885}$이며, 중형군과 소형군을 구분하는 체장의 변화곡선은 $Y=21.532X^{0.1177}$이다. 단 Y는 체장, X는 역상의 월을 표시함. 3. 회유에 있어서 북상기에는 체형이 작은 것이 먼저 북상하고 남하기에는 체형이 큰 것이 먼저 남하하는 경향을 보인다. 4. 회유경로는 어장내의 분포중심의 이동방향으로서 추적될수 있는 것이 아니며, 1968년의 각 체형군의 회유경로는 Fig. 6과 같이 추정된다.

Ampicillin의 경구, 주사 및 약욕 투약에 따른 넙치 혈액에서의 잔류량 변화 (Residues of ampicillin in blood of cultured olive flounder by oral, injection and dipping administration)

  • 암피실린 (ampicillin, AM) 을 넙치 (평균체중 300g, $20{\pm}1.0^{\circ}C$) 에 1일 1회 경구 (10, 20, 40mg/kg), 근육주사(5, 10, 20mg/kg), 약욕 (10, 20, 40ppm; 1시간) 한 다음, 경시적 (1시간~360시간) 으로 혈장 내 AM의 잔류량을 HPLC로써 분석하였다. 10, 20 및 40mg/kg로 경구 투여한 경우, 최대혈중농도가 모두 10시간째 각각 $3.62{\pm}0.97$, $5.20{\pm}0.70$$11.18{\pm}0.87{\mu}g/ml$로 나타났으며, 이들은 각각 144, 360 및 360시간째 검출되지 않았다. 5, 10 및 20mg/kg의 농도로 근육주사한 경우, 최대 혈중농도가 모두 5시간째 $6.92{\pm}1.29$, $9.89{\pm}2.22$$19.85{\pm}2.97{\mu}g/ml$를 나타내었으며, 이들은 각각 216, 264 및 264시간째 혈중에서 검출되지 않았다. 10, 20 및 40ppm의 농도로 약욕한 경우, 최대혈중농도가 모두 3시간째 $4.39{\pm}1.10$, $9.57{\pm}1.51$$11.61{\pm}1.92{\mu}g/ml$로 나타났으며, 이들은 각각 264, 264 및 360시간째 혈중에서 검출되지 않았다. 이로써 경구, 주사 및 약욕 투약에 의한 넙치 혈액 중 분포와 배설정도는 투약량에 의존적 경향이라는 것을 알 수 있었다.

캠프캐럴 인근 주민에서 다이옥신류 및 유기염소계 농약의 혈중 농도 및 노출력 (Serum Concentration and Exposure History of Dioxins and Organochlorine Pesticides among Residents around the Camp Carroll Area)

  • Objectives: This study was performed in order to evaluate whether 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD) could be detected among residents living near Camp Caroll in Waegwan and whether serum concentrations of dioxins, including 2,3,7,8-TCDD, and organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) are associated with length of residence. Methods: Study subjects totaled 113 (for dioxins) and 190 (for OCPs) adults who were selected from participants in a medical investigation. Serum concentrations of dioxins and OCPs were measured using HRGC/HRMS. Information on length of residence was obtained through questionnaires. Results: 2,3,7,8-TCDD was not detected in serum among all subjects. When length of residence was classified as a categorical variable, after adjusting for confounding variables, only residents living in Waegwan for 40 years or longer tended to have high total TEQ values and 2,3,4,7,8-PeCDF with marginal significances. There was no dose-response relation between length of residence and serum concentrations of these chemicals. In multiple regression models with continuous values of the length of residence, total TEQ value and 1,2,3,4,6,7,8-HpCDF were positively associated with length of residence. However, they explained about 3-5% of total variations of serum concentrations of these compounds, while age, consumption of fatty fish, body mass index, alcohol drinking, and cigarette smoking were main variables affecting serum concentrations of dioxins or OCPs. Conclusions: In the current study, high concentrations of certain compounds were mainly observed among persons who lived in Waegwan for at least for 40 years without a dose-response relation. Therefore, it seems difficult to conclude that length of residence meaningfully contributed to the current serum concentrations of dioxins or OCPs among residents in Waegwan. However, considering the half-life of 2,3,7,8-TCDD and indirect exposure routes, the limitations of the current study design should be considered in the interpretation of the study findings.

자외선에 노출된 광반응성 나노물질의 생태독성 연구 (Ecotoxicity Studies of Photoactive Nanoparticles Exposed to Ultraviolet Light)

  • 현대산업에서 나노기술의 이용성이 증가되면서 나노물질이 가질 수 있는 잠재적인 위해성에 대한 관심이 증가되고 있는 추세이다. 나노물질은 다양한 경로를 통해 환경으로 유출되고 있으며, 수생태계로 유출된 나노물질은 태양광에 포함된 자외선에 노출될 개연성이 높다. 광반응성 나노물질은 광활성 조건에서 생태독성이 변화할 가능성이 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 광반응성 나노물질이 생태계에서 자외선에 노출되었을 때 유발될 수 있는 생태독성 변화에 대한 연구동향을 파악하고자, 수서 및 토양생물을 대상으로 가용한 모든 자료를 조사하여 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 조사된 광반응성 나노물질은 zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, 그리고 fullerene이었으며, 미생물, 지렁이, 토양선충, 조류, 그리고 어류 등을 대상으로 한 나노물질 생태독성연구를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 자외선에 노출된 나노물질의 광독성영향에 대한 연구는 현재까지 매우 부족한 상태로, 현재까지 발표된 나노물질에 대한 광독성 연구는 8개였고, 일부 연구에서는 광반응성 나노물질의 광이온화와 나노물질로부터 용출된 이온독성을 함께 제시하였다. 광반응성 나노물질은 생체 내에서 산소활성종 생성을 유발하고 산화스트레스를 증가시키는 것으로 확인되었다.
