일간지를 통해 본 주거환경문제의 연구 ( II ) - 분뇨에서 변소의 정착과정을 중심으로 - (A Study of Housing Environment Problems through the Daily newspapers ( II ) -Centering around a excretion and fixing process of lavatory-)

  • We discussed the change of housing environmental problems from the early 1900s to the present in Study(I). This study(II) which secendly research of study(I) analyzed the fixing precess of a lavatory centering around a excretion which was a serious housing environmental problem in 1920 to 1940. The documentary research method was used for this study. Articles of content analysis(N=185) were published in 1920 to 1990 which were The Deng-A daily news article about a excretion and a lavatory. The main content of this study was examined the change, such as the number of whole article, the column number of article by time series. and the content of article by subject. 1. The number of whole article by time series was collected mainly in1920s-1930s. In 1940s-1960s, one-two column of article was appeared generally and three-four, five column of article was appeared in 1970-1980. 2. Contents of article was divided into two classes, excretion and lavatory. Contents of excretion was 1) a use of fertilizer 2) the method of transportation 3) a cost of gathering 4) a place of disposal 5) the problem of cleaning. Contents of lavatory was 1) a public lavatory 2) a flush toilet 3) a sanitary conditions 3. 1) A use of fertilizer was concentrated in 1920s-1930s, and problems of it was solved more or less by change of management method. Transportation of excretion developed such as \ulcornerGue\ulcorner->a coach of tank style->underground transportation->a dung car of absorption style. Disposal place of excretion was a cause of dissatisfaction in 1920s and it is serious problem Today. A duty of excretion gathering was transfered to a private worker in 1978. The accunulation problem of excretion was continued until 1940s-1950s. The management law of waste matters was proclaimed in 1986. 2) A public lavatory was planned in 1924 for the first time, and it is insufficient in these days, A settlement of public lavatory in building which has upward of 20pyung became obligation in 1973. The problem of water contamination which by poor septic tank was happened in 1970s-1980s.

침투형 빗물받이의 배수 및 비점오염물질 저감 효과 (Reduction Effect of Nonpoint Source Pollutants and Drainage of Infiltration Grate Inlet)

  • This study was to estimate the reduction effect of nonpoint source pollutants according to the rainfall intensity and drainage of infiltration grate inlet. Soil infiltration flow was measured on-site and SS load by the filter part was calculated by the experimental data in laboratory reactor test. Soil infiltration flow was measured to be about $1m^3/hr$ in soil condition saturated with water. The filter part of the infiltration grate inlet was a hydraulic equipment unhindered by soil infiltration on the bottom of the storage tank, because the infiltration flow was measured to be about $3m^3/hr$ continuously in the closing infiltration hole condition. Infiltration flow and SS load were over about $1m^3/hr$ and 1.71 kg according to laboratory results by the filter part using the artifical sample. Therefore, the above values could be presented as the limitted value to start the reduction of filtration effect. Reduction efficiencies of SS load by the filter part for the rainfall intensity were about 87 % at 5 mm/hr and about 61 % at 10 mm/hr in consideration of one infiltration grate inlet got the drainage area about $200m^2$. The reduction efficiency of nonpoint source pollutants was very effective in the first flush rainfall. However, the reduction efficiency by rainfall density was higher than by flow.

친환경 리조트 개발사업을 위한 비점오염원관리: 비점저감시설을 통한 오염물질 삭감량 산정 (NPS Control in Environment-kindly Resort Development: Determination of NPS Loading Rates by BMPs)

  • 환경부에서 국내 4대강에 도입한 수질오염총량관리제는 점오염원뿐만 아니라 비점오염원의 관리를 통해 주요 상수원수인 4대강의 수질을 개선하고자 함이다. 비점오염원의 주요 근원은 토지이용이며, 개발사업은 토지이용의 변화를 의미하고 비점오염물질의 유출 증가를 의미한다. 따라서 본 연구는 현재 국내에서 유일하게 수질 오염총량관리제가 도입되어 개발할당량이 주어져 있는 한강수계의 리조트 개발사업에서 개발계획에 따른 토지이용의 변화와 더불어 유출이 증가하는 비점오염물질의 양을 산정함으로써 효율적인 비점오염원 관리방안을 수립하고자 한다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여, 개발사업 전후의 토지이용에 따른 비점오염물질의 발생 및 배출부하량 변화를 산정하였으며, 이를 근거로 비점오염물질 유출 관리가 요구되는 토지이용을 선정하였다. 또한 그 결과를 이용하여 적정 비점오염물질 관리방안(최적관리방안)을 수립하고자한다.

도로상의 비점오염물질 저감을 위한 초기 우수유출수 처리에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Early-stage Storm Runoff Treatment for the Reduction of Non-point Pollution Materials on the Road)

  • The object ofthis study was to test for STORMSYS process that composed Catch Basin and Stormsys(three units: vortex solids separator, filter media bed and vegetated filter strips). It could be applied to treat the first-flush non-point pollution materials on the road(especially, motorway). This study investigated that the runoff characteristics of non-point pollutions containing the heavy metal(Fe, Zn and Cu) by rainfall showed relatively high pollution concentration in the early-stage storm runoff on the road, which seems to be caused by the vehicular traffic, and showed the rapid reduction of pollution concentration on the basis of about 5mm rainfall volume. As the number of the non-rainy days were increased, the pollution concentration by storm runoff was increased, also. As a test result of this process, the average removal efficiency of BOD, $COD_{mn}$, SS, T-N and T-P over the testing period were 92.7%,88.6%,97.4%,93.0% and 93.3%, respectively. Also, the average removal efficiency of n-Hexane, Fe, Zn and Cu were 86.7%, 96.1%, 84.4% and 78.4%, respectively. As shown in the characteristics of storm runoff, the non-point pollution materials have high pollution concentration in the early-stage storm runoff on the road, the installation of STORMSYS process is expected to reduce considerable amount of non-point pollutions.

개선된 여과형 시설의 비점오염물질 처리효율 평가 (Treatment Efficiency of Non-Point Source Pollutants Using Modified Filtration System)

  • 본 연구는 여과와 침투기작을 이용한 개선된 여과형 시설의 비점오염물질 처리효율을 평가하고자 수행되었다. 저감시설은 지리학적 기후학적인 인자를 고려하여 기존의 저감시설의 단점을 보완하여 설계되었다. 저감시설의 처리효율 평가는 실험실 규모로 수행되었으며, 3가지 유형의 유속[초기강우(120 mL/min), 일반적인 강우(242 mL/min), 집중호우(500 mL/min)]을 적용하여 실험을 진행하였고, 이를 통하여 수질 분석 및 물수지를 산정하였다. 실험결과, 저감시설의 입자상 물질 제거 효율은 90%이상으로 높게 분석되었다. 3가지의 유속변화 실험 중, 집중호우의 경우에서 11~91% 범위로 낮은 제거효율을 보였는데, 이는 다른 유속에 비해 짧은 체류시간을 갖기 때문으로 판단된다. 또한 저감시설의 물수지 산정결과 침투량은 유출량의 약 1%에 불과하여 향후 저감시설 설계 시, 침투를 증가시키기 위해서 시설하부의 토양치환 등을 통한 침투량 및 저류량을 증가시킬 수 있는 기술적 접근이 필요하며, 이는 오염물질의 저감에 크게 기여할 것으로 판단된다.

양송이 부패병원균(腐敗病原菌)의 발병요인(發病要因) 및 방제(防除)에 관한 연구(硏究) (Some Factors Affecting Growth of Didymocladium ternatum and Chemical Control of Mildew Diseases in Cultivation of Agaricus bisporus)

  • 양송이 부패병원균(腐敗病原菌)의 발병요인(發病要因) 및 방제(防除)에 관(關)하여 몇 가지 시험(試驗)을 수행(遂行)한바 그 결과(結果)는 다음과 같았다. 1. 부패병원균(腐敗病原菌)의 균사생장(菌絲生長) 적온(適溫)은 $15{\sim}20^{\circ}C$로 양송이균사(菌絲)보다 저온(低溫)이었다. 2. 본(本) 병원균(病原菌)의 균사생장(菌絲生長) 최적산도(最適酸度)(pH)는 $6{\sim}7$이었다. 3. 본(本) 병원균(病原菌)의 전염시기별(傳染時期別) 피해정도(被害程度)는 복토시(覆土時)부터 3주기말(週期末)에 심(甚)하였고 그 이후에는 피해(被害)가 적었다. 4. 본(本) 병원균(病原菌)의 균사(菌絲)는 $50^{\circ}C$에서 20분이상(分以上), 포자(胞子)는 $50^{\circ}C$에서 60분(分) 또는 $90^{\circ}C$에서 20분간(分間) 열처리(熱處理)로서 사멸(死滅)되었다. 5. 각종(各種) 살균제중(殺菌劑中)에서 Benlate, Homai, Dithane M 45등(等)이 실내(室內) 및 포장시험(圃場試驗)에서 가장 약효가 높았다.

고속도로 노면유출수의 중금속 유출 특성 및 상관성 (Washoff Characteristics of Metal Pollutants in Highways)

  • The paved areas in nonpoint source are highly polluted landuses because of high imperviousness and high pollutant mass emissions from vehicle activities. Particularly, the metal pollutants are a big issue in the paved area. It is usually washed-off during storms by adsorbing on sediments or soluble status. Therefore, this research was achieved for understanding the characteristics of metal pollutants in stormwater runoff in highways. Five monitoring sites were equipped with an automatic rainfall gage and an automatic flow meter. This manuscripts will summarize the washoff characteristics of metal pollutants and its concentration changes during storms. Usually first flush phenomenon was observed for all of the storm events and visibly confirmed with hydro- and polluto-graphs. Also it was coincided with the tendency of particulates and organic matters. The decrease rate per total reduced amount for metals during initial 30-min storm duration was obtained on 80%. The result may be able to use for determining the economical treatment criteria for stormwater runoff in highways.

강우시 철로 역사에서 발생하는 비점오염물질의 유출 경향 및 특성 (Characteristics of Washed-off Pollutants from Railway Station During Storms)

  • The ministry of Environment, Korea, are designing the TMDL(Total Maximum daily Load) program far 4 major large rivers to improve water quality from possible pollutants. It can be successfully performed as controling of nonpoint pollutants from watershed area. Railway stations are stormwater intensive land use because of high imperviousness and high pollutant mass emissions from various activities. Especially the metal pollutants from the railway station were recognized as an important pollutants because of its toxicities. In order to characterize the washed-off pollutants. the monitoring were performed on a railway station during storms. Pollutant concentrations are exponentially decreasing during the storm duration. The 95% confidence interval of pollutant concentrations in an hour storm duration ranges from 61.6 to 115.4mg/L for TSS(mean=88.50mg/L),103.8-244.1mg/L for COD(mean=174 mg/L) and 7.68-17.32mg/L for Oil & Grease(mean=12.5mg/L). The ranges of metals were 39.2-84.0 $\mu\textrm{g}$/L for total Cu(mean=61.6$\mu\textrm{g}$/L), 14.0-25.8$\mu\textrm{g}$/L for total Pb(mean=19.9$\mu\textrm{g}$/L) and 182.2-376.l $\mu\textrm{g}$/L for total Zn(mean=279.2$\mu\textrm{g}$/L). The first flush criteria for best management practices can be suggested to 50% pollutant mass emissions during 30% of the total flow.

火病을 동반한 갱년기 환자 치험 5례 (5 Cases of Climacteric Syndrome Patients with Hwa-Byung)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of Korean traditional treatments for Climacteric Syndrome Patients with Hwa-Byung. Methods: From February 2015 to May 2015, We treated 5 Cases Patients with Korean traditional treatments for a month. We measured treatment effects by Menopause Rating Scale (MRS), Beck's Depression Inventory (BDI), Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI). Results: After treatment, First, the scores of MRS, BDI were decreased. Second, the symptoms such as hot flush, pantalgia, palpitation, insomnia, fatigue were significantly improved. Also, the difference of 膻中 (CV17, Danjung) and 關元 (CV4, Guanyuan) temperatures were significantly decreased after treatment. Conclusions: This study suggests that Korean traditional treatments such as Gamicheonglijagam-hwan, acupuncture, moxibustion are effective on Climacteric Syndrome Patients with Hwa-Byung.

골프장에서 발생하는 비점오염원의 초기유출수 특성 (First-flush Runoff Characteristics of NPS from golf course)

  • 본 연구에서는 수질오염총량제와 정책제안의 원활하고 합리적인 추진을 위해 토지피복분류체계의 대분류중 초지에 해당하고 중분류 중 골프장에 해당하는 지점을 선정하여 강우에 의해 발생하는 비점오염물질의 유출특성을 분석하였다. 연구기간 동안 총 27번의 강우사상으로 인해 발생하는 강우유출수에 대하여 유량과 수질농도를 측정하였다. 유량측정은 웨어를 통한 수위를 측정하여 유량으로 환산하였고, 수질항목은 $BOD_5$, $COD_{Mn}$, DOC, SS, T-N, T-P, $NH_3$-N, $NO_3$-N, $PO_4$-P 등 9개 항목을 분석하였다. 분석된 결과를 이용하여 골프장에서 발생하는 비점오염원의 초기세척효과 발생여부를 판단하기 위하여 누적오염부하량/누적유출량 그래프를 도식화하였다. 연구기간동안 발생한 5~82 mm의 강우로 인해 6.6~2,082 $m^3$의 유출이 발생하였다. 발생된 유출수의 농도는 $BOD_5$ 1.8~11.3 mg/L, $COD_{Mn}$ 19.2~51.4 mg/L, DOC 11.0~31.0 mg/L, SS 2.2~57.3 mg/L, T-N 1.545~16.098, T-P 0.230~4.528 mg/L, $NH_3$-N 0.076~5.285 mg/L, $NO_3$-N 0.122~2.905 mg/L, $PO_4$-P 0.005~2.631 mg/L로 나타났다. 초기유출수의 세척효과는 27번의 강우사상동안 SS 항목의 경우 17번, $NO_3$-N 11번, $NH_3$-N 4번 등이 발생하였다. 초기세척효과가 발생한 강우사상은 초기의 오염원 농도가 중 후반 농도보다 농도가 높음을 의미하므로, 골프장에서 발생하는 강우유출수는 초기에 발생하는 오염원에 초점을 두고 처리방안을 모색해야 할 것으로 판단된다. 또한 SS와 질소계열의 농도가 높은 것은 골프장의 잔디관리를 위한 농약이나 제초제 등의 사용과 토양유실이 원인인 것으로 판단되며, 이를 저감하기 위한 적절한 사용방안과 저감대책이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.
