  • Frequency responses of the surface acoustic wave(SAW) filters are simulated by using the impulse modeling. The simulation technique of the SAW filters is to use the Fourier transformation to make a correspondence between the impulse response of the filter and the taps in the delay line. Since the Fourier series must be truncated after a finite number of terms, window functions are often used to weight the coefficients to obtain the desirable side-lobe level and bandwidth. The filter design is operated through the iterative simulation procedures. The design process is capable of yielding filters with optimized frequency response characteristics.

  • Linear combination of weighted order statistic(LWOS) filters, which is an extension of stack filters, can represent any Boolean function(BF) or its extension. Which is called the extended BF(EBF). In this paper, we present a procedure for finding an LWOS filter of the simplest type from LWOS filters which are equivalent to a given BF or EBF. In addition, a property that is useful for implementing an LWOS filter is derived and an algorithm for LWOS filtering is presented.

  • The notion of int-soft (implicative) filters in lattice implication algebras is introduced, and related properties are investigated. Characterizations of int-soft (implicative) filters are discussed. Conditions for an int-soft filter to be an int-soft implicative filter are provided. Extension property for int-soft implicative filters is established.

  • In this paper, we observe that the design of optimal weighted order statistic(WOS) filters minimizing the mean absolute error criterion can be though of as a two-class linear classification problem. Based on this observation, the perceptron algorithm is applied to design WOS filters. It is shown, through experiments, that the perceptron algorithm can find optimal or near optimal WOS filters in practical situations.

  • The notion of intuitionistic fuzzy convex sublattices is introduced, and its characterization is given. Natural equivalence relations on the set of all intuitionistic fuzzy ideals/filters of a lattice are investigated. Operations on intuitionistic fuzzy sets of a lattice is introduced. Some results of intuitionistic fuzzy ideals/filters under these operations are provided. Using these operations, characterizations of intuitionistic fuzzy ideals/filters are given.

  • A method for synthesizing low-pass elliptic filters in a microstrip configuration is presented. The realization consists of the cascade connection of proper rectangular elements, each one corresponding to four reactive elements of the lumped-constant prototype. This allows an effictive control of parasitics and unwanted reactances. Which results in the possibility of realizing higher order filters with cutoff frequencies UP to X-band. Fifth and seventh order filters were fabricated on allumina substrates.

  • The symmetric dual filters are essential for the construction of biorthogonal multiresolution an analyses and wavelets. We propose an algorithm to seek for dual symmetric trigonometric filters $\tilde{m}_0$ for for the given symmetric trigonometric filter $m_0$ and illustrate our algorithm by examples.

  • In this paper, we introduce the concept of ${\beta}$-fuzzy filters in MS-algebras and ${\beta}$-fuzzy filters are characterized in terms of boosters. It is proved that the lattice of ${\beta}$-fuzzy filters is isomorphic to the fuzzy ideal lattice of boosters.

  • The concept of fuzzy sets in UP-algebras was first introduced by Somjanta et al. [Fuzzy sets in UP-algebras; 2016]. In this paper, we introduce and study fuzzy proper UP-filters of UP-algebras and prove their generalizations and characteristic fuzzy sets of proper UP-filters. Moreover, we discuss the relations between fuzzy proper UP-filters and their level subsets.
