프라이머 코팅과 열융착 필름 라미네이팅을 통해 제조한 충격 완화용 고강력 에어쿠션 직물에 관한 연구 (Study on the High-Strength Air-Cushion Fabrics for Impact-Relief Application Prepared through Primer Coating and Thermal Film Laminating)

  • In this study, the laminating of TPU film after coating of primer adhesive on the fabrics was applied in order to secure the strength to withstand a fall from a higher altitude by increasing the adhesion between the fabric and the film layer. It seems that the fineness of the yarn and the weave construction have a greater effect than the type of the laminating films. The order of superiority of the laminated fabrics by film type and thickness was the same for 1000 denier and 210 denier fabrics, and the tendency was consistent with the order of superiority in the film properties and peel strength tests. The tear strength of laminating fabrics increased three to four times for 1000 denier fabrics compared to the fabric alone, but it decreased by 2 times for the 210 denier fabrics. Summarizing the above results, it is most appropriate to combine 1000d fabric with three types of laminating films(100~200㎛ thickness) of A(0.2T) or B(0.15T) or D(0.1T) considering the air pressure resistance, the impact resistance during the fall, and the durability against damage during use.

PDMS와 고분자 전해질 표면을 이용한 간편한 세포 패터닝 방법 (Facile Cell Patterning Based on Selectively Patterned Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and Polyelectrolyte Surface)

  • This study presented facile method of cell patterning using fabricated PDMS patterns on polyelectrolyte coated surface. This basic principle is the fabrication of functional surface presenting two orthogonal surfaces such as cell adhesive and repellent properties. Cell adhesive surface was firstly fabricated with simple coating of polyelectrolyte multilayer. And then, the desired patterns of PDMS for the prevention of nonspecific binding of cells were transferred onto the previously formed thin film of polyelectrolyte multilayer. Thus, we could prepare novel functional surface simultaneously containing PDMS and polyelectrolyte region. As expected, the PDMS regions showed effective prevention of nonspecific binding of cell and the other region, exposed polyelectrolyte area, provided cell adhesive environment. The height of formed PDMS structure was about 100 nm. Based on this method, cell patterning can be successfully obtained with various pattern shapes and sizes. Therefore, we expect that this simple method will be useful platform technology for the development of cell chip, cell based assay system, and biochip.

폴리올레핀의 반응 조건별 산변성도 변화 및 Al-CPP 라미네이션 박리강도 변화 (Changes in Acid Graft Ratio and Al-CPP Lamination Peel Strength by Polyolefin Reaction Conditions)

  • 에폭시 접착소재의 단점인 경질화에 따른 성형성 부족을 개선하고자 무수말레인산을 이용한 산변성 폴리올레핀 기반 2액형 에폭시 접착소재를 연구하였다. 반응 조건에 따른 산변성도를 파악하기 위하여 공정별, 폴리올레핀 분자량/개시제 반감기/개시제 함량별 연구를 진행하였으며, 제조된 산변성 폴리올레핀을 에폭시 경화제와의 혼합 후 알루미늄과 CPP 필름 라미네이션 접착소재로 사용하였다. 용융공정 대비 용액공정의 산변성 효율이 약 30% 우수하였으며, 산변성율이 증가할수록 박리강도는 증가함을 확인하였다.

패턴된 기판에 금속 배선 형성 (Metallization on Patterned Substrate)

  • The substrate patterned with the dry film has the cavity which has the $90^{\circ}$ wall angle. Electroplating Cu on this patterned substrate has the differrent shape history with the electrochemical parameters. By potential theory model, the reason of the variation of the shape change with the these parameters was investigated. The shape history could be explained by the current flow and the correlated area effects. By embedding the Ni layer between the Cu layers, shape history with the time was obtained experimentally and the results was compared with the numerical analysis by BEM. The adhesive Cr-Cu film in TAB application was etched with the various condition. The best condition for the etchant of the Cr-Cu film was found.

A low $T_g$ substrate for film-like liquid crystal display

  • A UV-cured adhesive with a low $T_g$ below the room temperature was used as a substrate for manufacturing a film-like liquid crystal display. This film-like LCD shows a fully flexibility due to the low $T_g$ property, and the manufacture processes are roll-to-roll compatible due to the coating processes.

  • This paper presents a wafer-level package using a Dry Film Resist(DFR) for RF MEMS devices. Vertical interconnection is made through the hole formed on the glass cap. Bonding using the DFR has not only less effects on the surface roughness but also low process temperature. We used DFR as adhesive polymer and made the vertical interconnection through Au electroplating. Therefore, we developed a wafer-level package that is able to be used in RF MEMS devices and vertical interconnection.

  • Recently, LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is the display product widely used on various fields of industry. This is generally composed of many parts. Among many parts, polarizer film control the intensity of the transmitted light according to the degree of rotation of the polarizer axis. Therefore, this film must be free from defects. But it contains many defects such as the defects caused by dust or different thing, adhesive badness, scratch. Presently, the inspection of these defects is depending on the sight of operator. In this paper, we propose the vision system composed of telecentric lens and optical mirror. This system use the coaxial illumination and the light is specularly reflected on the optical mirror. And we develop the image processing algorithm using the threshold and morphological technique.

$SiH_2$$CI_2$ 환원에 의해 형성된 WSix 박막 특성 (Characteristics of Tungsten Silicide Film Formed by Dichlorosilane Reduction)

  • Tungsten silicied (WSix) has been widely used for interconnection line to improve the speed and reliability of devices. It is known that WSix formed by silane reduction has poor step coverage and poor adhesion. In this research, WSix by dichlorosilane reduction showed excellent adhesion in cellophane adhesive tape test, and improved step coverage by two times. The crystal structure of the as-deposited WSix film by silane reduction was transformed from the hexagonal to the tetragonal structure during annealing treatment, while that by dichlorosilane reduction kept the stable tetragonal structure. The fluorine concentration in the WSix film by dichlorosilane was lower than that by silane.

  • PVDF-PVC 적층필름의 계면접착력을 향상시키기 위한 새로운 방법으로 PVDF 필름 표면에 유전체장벽 코로나 방전을 통한 EMA 단량체 커플링을 시도하였다. EMA 1% 분위기에서 코로나 표면처리한 PVDF 필름을 사용하여 제조한 PVDF-PVC 적층필름의 계면접착력은 코로나 처리하지 않은 PVDF에 비해 현저히 향상되었다. 코로나 방전처리에 의해 PVDF 필름 표면의 접촉각은 현저히 감소하였다. XPS 분석 결과, 코로나 처리에 의해 필름 표면의 탄소와 산소함량은 증가하는 반면 불소 함량은 감소하였다. XPS $C_{1s}$ 피크의 curve fitting 결과, 코로나 방전 처리에 의해 비극성 C-C 결합 탄소와 산소와 결합하는 탄소의 비율은 점차 증가한 반면, 불소와 결합하는 탄소의 비율은 크게 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다.

  • In this paper, the surface modification effect of self-assembled monolayer(SAM) of 1-dodecanethiol [$CH_3$($CH_2$)$_{11}$SH] used as an anti-adhesive film in micromolding process was studied. Monolayers of 1-dodecanethiol[$CH_3$(CH$_2$)$_{11}$SH] were obtained by immersing a metal place in pure 1-dodecanethiol. SAM film on the nickel plate has been examined by using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). The focus has been placed on S-Ni bonding. From the XPS analysis, sulfur atoms were detected from the SAM film as a chemical composition of S-Ni. In order to measure an adhesion force of the SAM-coated nickel surface, atomic force microscopy(AFM) was used in force-distance mode, which whows the micro-adhesive force on solid surface. It was shown that adhesion forces measured from the SAM-coated nickel surface and the Ni surface without SAM coating were 3.52nN and 5.32nN, respectively. In order to investigate the effect of SAM coating on the surface foughness the replica in demolding process, hot embossing experiments were performed using a SAM-coated nickel master and a nickel master without SAM coating. Surface roughness of replica from the SAM-coated master showed 25nm and that of replica from master without SAM coating was 35nm. The smoother surface roughness of the replica from the SAM-coated, master is believed to result from reduction in the adhesion forces.ces.
