원적외선 저장쌀의 급여가 흰쥐의 생존력에 미치는 영향 (Feeding Effect of Far Infrared Irradiated Rice to Survival Activity against Drowning of Mouse)

  • 본 연구는 원적외선 저장쌀의 급여가 흰쥐의 생존능력에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 수행되었다. 원적외선 저장쌀은 수침시간에 따른 수분흡수량이 일반쌀에 비해 1.3배정도 많았으며, 취반후와 저장에 따른 백색도가 높게 유지되었다. 원적외선 쌀의 급여는 흰쥐의 체중변화에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 흰쥐의 생존능력에 미치는 영향을 조사한 결과 6주령의 경우는 일반쌀과 원적외선 저장쌀간의 생존율에 따른 유의적인 차이는 확인하지 못하였으나, 7주령과 8주령의 경우, 원적외선 저장 쌀의 급여에 따른 생존능력의 유의적인 차이를 나타낸 것으로 확인되었다.

빠른 젖물리기 프로그램이 모유수유 실천율에 미치는 영향 (Influence of an Early Latching-on Program on the Breastfeeding Rate)

  • Purpose: This study sought to identify how initiating breastfeeding soon after birth affected breastfeeding practice. Methods: The subjects were mothers and newborns in Seoul's S. University Hospital maternity unit who elected to breastfeed. They were divided into an experimental group, which practiced an "early latching-on program" (latching-on within 30 minutes after birth), and a control group, which did not. Both groups' daily frequencies of breastfeeding and supplementary-glucose or bottle feeding were recorded. Results: The correlation between socio-demographic and medical characteristics and the breastfeeding rate was examined; 3 variables showed statistical significance: neonatal health anomaly, Apgar score after 1 minute, and Apgar score after 5 minutes. The difference in breastfeeding rates between the two groups was clear: the experimental group's rate was 1.93, while the control group's was 3.76 (t-statistic difference: 14.865), with the experimental group's rate during hospitalization being twice that of the control group (73.3% and 32.6%, respectively). Multiple regression analysis assessing the influence of the latching-on program yielded a t-statistic of -4.735 and a p-value of .000, indicating statistical significance. Conclusion: An early latching-on program's positive effect on the breastfeeding practice of mother's of newborns was demonstrated. Therefore, an early latching-on program could be a practical and effective nursing intervention for after mothers give birth.

천연가스의 수증기 개질에서 수성가스 전환용 충진층 반응기의 전산모사 (Packed Bed Reactor Simulation for the Water Gas Shift Reaction in the Steam Reforming of Natural Gas)

  • A 1-dimensional heterogeneous reactor model with the gas-solid interfacial phase gradients was developed for the simulation of the packed bed reactor where the exothermic reversible water gas shift reaction for the natural gas steam reformed gas was proceeding in adiabatic mode. Experimental results obtained over the WGS catalyst, C18-HA, were best simulated when the frequency factor of the reaction rate constant was adjusted to a half the value reported over another WGS catalyst, EX-2248, having the same kinds of active components as the C18-HA. For the reactor of the inside diameter 158.4 mm and the bed length 650 mm, the optimum feeding temperature of the reformed gas was simulated to be $194^{\circ}C$, giving the lowest CO content in the product gas by 1.68 mol% on the basis of dried gas. For reactors more extended in the bed length, the possible lowest CO content in the product gas with the optimum feeding temperature of the reformed gas were suggested.

Modelling and Stability Analysis of AC-DC Power Systems Feeding a Speed Controlled DC Motor

  • This paper presents a stability analysis of AC-DC power system feeding a speed controlled DC motor in which this load behaves as a constant power load (CPL). A CPL can significantly degrade power system stability margin. Hence, the stability analysis is very important. The DQ and generalized state-space averaging methods are used to derive the mathematical model suitable for stability issues. The paper analyzes the stability of power systems for both speed control natural frequency and DC-link parameter variations and takes into account controlled speed motor dynamics. However, accurate DC-link filter and DC motor parameters are very important for the stability study of practical systems. According to the measurement errors and a large variation in a DC-link capacitor value, the system identification is needed to provide the accurate parameters. Therefore, the paper also presents the identification of system parameters using the adaptive Tabu search technique. The stability margins can be then predicted via the eigenvalue theorem with the resulting dynamic model. The intensive time-domain simulations and experimental results are used to support the theoretical results.

브로일러 사료에서의 피혁분의 어분대치 효과 (Effects of Substitution of Hydrolyzed Leather Meal for Fish Meal in the Broiler Diet)

  • 브로일러 사료에 있어서 피혁분의 어분대치 가능성을 검토하기 위하여 브로일러용 초생추 (♀) 240수를 사용하여 6주간의 사양시험을 실시하였다. 양질의 어분과 대치한 피혁분의 사용수준은 0%, 1%, 2%, 4%, 6%이었으며 시험경과 얻어진 성적은 다음과 같다. 1. 본 시험에 사용된 피혁분의 단백질함량은 74.41%, 조회분함량 17.9%, 크롬함량 2.0%이었고 pepsin소화율은 85%이었다. 2. 증체량. 사료섭취량 및 사료효율은 피혁분 4%수준까지든 별 차이를 보이지 않았으나 6%수준에서는 현저히 (p<0.05) 떨어지는 결과를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 브로일러 사료에서 피혁분을 어분과 대치하여 4%수준까지 사용가능함을 시사한다.

심층신경망을 이용한 스마트 양식장용 사료 공급 시점 감지 시스템 구현 (An Implementation of Feeding Time Detection System for Smart Fish Farm Using Deep Neural Network)

  • In traditional fish farming way, the workers have to observe all of the pools every time and every day to feed at the right timing. This method causes tremendous stress on workers and wastes time. To solve this problem, we implemented an automatic detection system for feeding time using deep neural network. The detection system consists of two steps: classification of the presence or absence of feed and checking DO (Dissolved Oxygen) of the pool. For the classification, the pretrained ResNet18 model and transfer learning with custom dataset are used. DO is obtained from the DO sensor in the pool through HTTP in real time. For better accuracy, the next step, checking DO proceeds when the result of the classification is absence of feed several times in a row. DO is checked if it is higher than a DO reference value that is set by the workers. These actions are performed automatically in the UI programs developed with LabVIEW.

해조의 식용분말화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Nutritive Value and Utilization of Powdered Seaweeds)

  • I. Subject of the study A study on the nutritive value and utilization of powdered seaweeds. II. Purpose and Importance of the study A. In Korea the shortage of food will be inevitable by the rapidly growing population. It will be very important study to develop a new food from the seaweeds which were not used hitherto for human consumption. B. The several kinds of seaweeds have been used by man in Korea mainly as side-dishes. However, a properly powdered seaweed will enable itself to be a good supplement or mixture to certain cereal flours. C. By adding the powdered seaweed to any cereals which have long been staple foods in this country the two fold benefits; saving of cereals and change of dietary pattern, will be secured. III. Objects and scope of the study A. Objects of the study The objects will come under four items. 1. To develop a powdered seaweed as a new food from the seaweeds which have been not used for human consumption. 2. To evaluate the nutritional quality of the products the analysis for chemical composition and animal feeding experiment will be conducted. 3. Experimental cocking and accepability test will be conducted for the powdered products to evaluate the value as food stuff. 4. Sanitary test and also economical analysis will be conducted for the powdered products. B. Scope of the study 1. Production of seaweed powders Sargassum fulvellum growing in eastern coast and Sargassum patens C.A. in southern coast were used as the material for the powders. These algae, which have been not used for human consumption, were pulverized through the processes of washing, drying, pulverization, etc. 2. Nutritional experiments a. Chemical composition Proximate components (water, protein, fat, cellulose, sugar, ash, salt), minerals (calcium, phosphorus, iron, iodine), vitamins (A, $B_1,\;B_2$ niacin, C) and amino acids were analyzed for the seaweed powders. b. Animal feeding experiment Weaning 160 rats (80 male and 80 female rats) were used as experimental animals, dividing them into 16 groups, 10 rats each group. Each group was fed for 12 weeks on cereal diet (Wheat flour, rice powder, barley powder, potato powder, corn flour) with the supplementary levels of 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 30% of the seaweed powder. After the feeding the growth, feed efficiency ratio, protain efficiency ratio and ,organs weights were checked and urine analysis, feces analysis and serum analysis were also conducted. 3. Experimental cooking and acceptability test a. Several basic studies were conducted to find the characteristics of the seaweed powder. b. 17 kinds of Korean dishes and 9 kinds of foreign dishes were prepared with cereal flours (wheat, rice, barley, potato, corn) with the supplementary levels of 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 30% of the seaweed powder. c. Acceptability test for the dishes was conducted according to plank's Form. 4. Sanitary test The heavy metals (Cd, Pb, As, Hg) in the seaweed powders were determined. 5. Economical analysis The retail price of the seaweed powder was compared with those of other cereals in the market. And also economical analysis was made from the nutritional point of view, calculating the body weight gained in grams per unit price of each feeding diet. IV. Results of the study and the suggestion for application A. Chemical composition 1. There is no any big difference in proximate components between powders of Sargassum fulvellum in eastern coast and Sargassum patens C.A. in southern coast. Seasonal difference is also not significant. Higher levels of protein, cellulose, ash and salt were found in the powders compared with common cereal foods. 2. The levels of calcium (Ca) and iron (Fe) in the powders were significantly higher than common cereal foods and also rich in iodine (I). Existence of vitamin A and vitamin C in the Powders is different point from cereal foods. Vitamin $B_1\;and\;B_2$ are also relatively rich in the powders.'Vitamin A in ·Sargassum fulvellum is high and the levels of some minerals and vitamins are seemed4 to be some influenced by seasons. 3. In the amino acid composition methionine, isoleucine, Iysine and valine are limiting amino acids. The protein qualities of Sargassum fulvellum and Sargassum patens C.A. are seemed to be .almost same and generally ·good. Seasonal difference in amino acid composition was found. B. Animal feeding experiment 1. The best growth was found at.10% supplemental level of the seaweed Powder and lower growth rate was shown at 30% level. 2. It was shown that 15% supplemental level of the Seaweed powder seems to fulfil, to some extent the mineral requirement of the animals. 3. No any changes were found in organs development except that, in kidney, there found decreasing in weight by increasing the supplemental level of the seaweed powder. 4. There is no any significant changes in nitrogen retention, serum cholesterol, serum calcium and urinary calcium in each supplemental level of the seaweed powder. 5. In animal feeding experiment it was concluded that $5%{\sim}15%$ levels supplementation of the seaweed powder are possible. C. Experimental cooking and acceptability test 1. The seaweed powder showed to be utilized more excellently in foreign cookings than in Korean cookings. Higher supplemental level of seaweed was passible in foreign cookings. 2. Hae-Jo-Kang and Jeon-Byung were more excellent than Song-Pyun, wheat cake, Soo-Je-Bee and wheat noodle. Hae-Je-Kang was excellent in its quality even as high as 5% supplemental level. 3. The higher levels of supplementation were used the more sticky cooking products were obtained. Song-Pyun and wheat cake were palatable and lustrous in 2% supplementation level. 4. In drop cookie the higher levels of supplementation, the more crisp product was obtained, compared with other cookies. 5. Corn cake, thin rice gruel, rice gruel and potato Jeon-Byung were more excellent in their quality than potato Man-Doo and potato noodle. Corn cake, thin rice gruel and rice gruel were excellent even as high as 5% supplementation level. 6. In several cooking Porducts some seaweed-oder was perceived in case of 3% or more levels of supplementation. This may be much diminished by the use of proper condiments. D. Sanitary test It seems that there is no any heavy metals (Cd, Pb, As, Hg) problem in these seaweed Powders in case these Powders are used as supplements to any cereal flours E. Economical analysis The price of the seaweed powder is lower than those of other cereals and that may be more lowered when mass production of the seaweed powder is made in future. The supplement of the seaweed powder to any cereals is also economical with the criterion of animal growth rate. F. It is recommended that these seaweed powders should be developed and used as supplement to any cereal flours or used as other food material. By doing so, both saving of cereals and improvement of individual's nutrition will greatly be achieved. It is also recommended that the feeding experiment for men would be conducted in future.

조기제한 사양의 강도와 시기 및 기간이 육계의 보상성장과 사료효율 및 복강지방 축적에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Early-life Feed Restriction Severities, Ages and Duration on Compensatory Growth, Feed Efficiency, and Abdominal Fat, Pad Deposition in Broilers)

  • 조기제한사양의 강도(정도)와 시기 및 기간이 육계의 보상성장과 사료효율 및 복강지방 축적에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위해 2개의 실험을 실시하였는데, 실험 1에서는 7일령된 무감별 육계 240수를 4처리 3반복에 반복당 20수씩 공시하여 7일령에서부터 49일령까지 실시하였다. 대조구(C)는 7일령부터 49일령까지 전기간 육계 전기사료와 후기사료를 자유채식을 시켰으며, 시험구(T1,T2 및 T3)들은 각각 1일 0.75 kcal ME/9B $W^{0.67}$로 7일령부터 9일령까지 3일간, 1.50 kcal ME/gB $W^{0.67}$로 7일령부터 11일령까지 5일간 및 2.25 kcal ME/gB\$^{0.67}$로 7일령부터 13일령까지 7일간 육계전기사료를 제한급여하였다. 실험 2는 4일령된 무감별 육계 420수를 7처리 3반복, 반복당 20수씩 공시하여 4일령에서부터 49일령까지 실시하였는데 대조구(C)는 4일령부터 49일령까지 전기간 육계 전기사료와 후기사료를 자유채식을 시켰으며, 시험구(T1~T6)들은 모두 1일 0.75kcal ME/gB $W^{0.67}$로 4,7일 및 10일령에 3일간 또는 5일간육계전기사료를 제한급여하였으며, 제한사양이 끝난 시험구들은 전기사료 및 후기사료를 자유채식시켰다. 실험 1에서 제한사양기간을 포함한 21일령가지의 증체량은 대조구에 비해 시험구들이 유의적으로 적었으나(P<0.05), 22일령부터 49일령까지의 증체량은 대조구에 비해 시험구들이 유의적으로 높았으며(P<0.05), 전기간인 7일령부터 49일령까지의 증체량과 49일령 체중은 처리간에 유의적 차이가 없었다. 제한사양후부터 21일령까지의 사료섭취량은 T1구를 제외한 나머지 시험구에서는 대조구와 유의적인 차이를 보이지 않았으며, 22~47일령의 사료섭취량은 처리간에 유의적인 차이가 없었으나, 전기간 섭취량은 대조구에 비해 시험구들이 유의적으로 적게 섭취하였다 (P<0.05). 제한사양기간을 포함한 7일령부터 21일령까지의 사료요구율은 T1구만 유의적으로 낮았으며(P<0.05), 22일령부터 49일령가지의 사료요구율과 전기간동안의 사료요구율은 대조구에 비해서 시험구들이 유의적으로 낮았다(P<0.05) , 복강내지방함량 및 전기간 폐사율은 처리간에 유의적 차이가 없었다.

청보리 재배 시 콩과 사료작물의 혼파와 우분의 시용이 생산성, 사료가치 및 유기한우 사육능력에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Sowing Mixed Legume Forage and Applying Cattle Manure on the Productivity, Feed Values and Organic Hanwoo Feeding Capacity of Whole Crop Barley)

  • 본 연구는 환경오염을 감소시키고 유기축산물의 생산에 기여할 수 있는 유기조사료를 효율적으로 생산하기 위해 대표적인 동계작물인 청보리에 콩과 사료작물의 혼파와 발효우분을 시용하여 생산성과 사료가치를 평가하고, 토양의 지력 향상과 가축분뇨의 자원화를 위한 가축분뇨의 적정시용수준을 구명하여 단위면적당 유기한우 사육능력을 추정하고자 하였다. 콩과 사료작물의 혼파에 따른 평균 청보리의 건물, 조단백질 및 TDN 수량은 5.09~5.21, 0.48~0.51 및 3.19~3.21 톤/ha으로 단파로 재배했을 경우의 4.28, 0.38 및 2.8톤/ha 보다 유의하게 증가하였으나 혼파구 간에는 차이가 없었고, 발효우분의 질소시용수준이 증가함에 따라 청보리의 평균건물, 조단백질 및 TDN 수량은 무비구(3.97, 0.37 및 2.56 톤/ha)에 비해 100~150 kg N/ha (5.23~5.76, 0.49~0.54 및 3.28~3.55)에서 유의하게 증가하였다(p<0.05). 콩과사료작물의 혼파에 따른 조단백질과 ADF 함량은 헤어리베치 혼파구(각각 9.7과 34.5%) >사료용 완구 혼파구(각각 9.3과 33.0%) >청보리의 단파구(각각 8.7과 30.5%) 순으로 유의하게 낮아졌으며 우분 질소시용수준에 따른 청보리의 조단백질 함량과 NDF 함량은 처리수준 간 유의한 차이가 인정되지 않았지만 ADF 함량은 시용수준이 증가함에 따라 유의하게 증가하였고 TDN 함량은 반대로 감소하였다(p<0.05). 콩과 사료작물의 혼파에 따른 청보리에 의한 유기한우 사육능력(체중 450 kg, 400 g 일당증체 목표)은 평균 2.62~2.72두로 유의하게 증가하였고. 발효우분 질소시용수준이 증가됨에 따라 청보리에 의한 유기한우 사육능력은 유의하게 증가하였다(p<0.05). 이상의 결과를 종합해 볼 때, 청보리 재배 시 콩과 사료 작물의 혼파 하였을 경우에는 단파재배 보다 발효우분의 질소시용수준을 ha 당 50 kg 이상 줄이면서도 건물수량을 포함한 생산성과 유기한우 사육능력 증대는 물론 조단백질 함량 등 사료가치를 향상을 시켜 한우 사양 시 조사료자원의 다양화 뿐 아니라 저투입에 의한 고품질 조사료 생산으로 유기축산물 생산에 크게 기여하리라 사료된다.

소에 의한 다양한 사일리지의 이용율 및 TDN 평가 (Estimation of Availability and TDN of Various Silages by Cattle)

  • 본 시험은 국내에서 생산되어 곤포형태로 포장된 청보리 사일리지, 호밀 사일리지, 이탈리안 라이그라스 사일리지 및 수단그라스 (수수${\times}$수단그라스 교잡종) 사일리지의 반추위 내 발효특성과 분해율 및 전장소화율과 TDN을 평가하기 위해 반추위 누관이 장착된 소 4두를 대상으로 실시되었다. 사일리지가 반추위액의 pH에 거의 영향하지는 않았으나 사일리지 급여 후 3시간에서 다른 종류의 사일리지를 섭취한 경우와 비교할 때 수단그라스 사일리지를 섭취한 소의 반추위액의 암모니아 농도가 7.28 mg/100 ml로 가장 낮았다 (p<0.049). Acetate 조성 비율은 다른 종류의 사일리지에 비해 수단그라스 사일리지 급여 1시간 (p<0.018), 3시간 (p<0.004) 및 6시간 (p<0.019) 후에 채취한 반추위액에서 높은 수준을 보였으며, propionate 조성 비율은 사일리지 급여 후 6시간까지 호밀사일리지와 청보리 사일리지를 섭취한 소에서 높은 (p<0.001~p<0.042) 반면 수단그라스 사일리지를 섭취한 소에서 가장 낮았다. Butyrate 조성 비율은 사일리지 급여 후 대부분의 반추위액 채취 시간 (1~6시간)에 걸쳐 청보리 사일리지를 섭취한 소에서 가장 낮은 (p<0.007~p<0.027) 것으로 나타났다. 반추위 내 건물의 유효분해율은 호밀 사일리지에서 59.64%로 가장 높았으며, 그 다음으로 청보리 사일리지(56.12%) 및 이탈리안 라이그라스 사일리지(55.64%)에서 높았고 수단그라스 사일리지의 유효분해율이 54.02%로 가장 낮았다 (p<0.048). 이러한 경향은 조단백질 (p<0.014) 및 유기물(p<0.039)의 유효분해율에서도 비슷한 것으로 조사되었다. 수단그라스 사일리지 내 건물(p<0.032), NDF (p<0.034) 및 유기물 (p<0.041)의 전장소화율은 다른 종류의 사일리지에 비하여 현저히 낮았으나 다른 세 종류의 사일리지 간에는 차이가 없었다. 전장소화율을 이용하여 산출된 TDN 값은 호밀 사일리지가 61.1%로 가장 높았으며 (p<0.001), 청보리 사일리지, 이탈리안 라이그라스 사일리지 및 수단그라스 사일리지의 TDN 값은 각각 57.1, 57.9 및 50.7%인 것으로 조사되었다. 이상의 결과로 미루어 보아 국내에서 생산, 이용되고 있는 사료작물 사일리지의 성분이 VFA 조성 비율 및 소화율에 영향하는 것으로 보이며, 특히 사일리지의 NDF 함량이 소화율에 기초를 둔 TDN 값에 크게 영향하는 것으로 여겨진다.
