In this paper, we propose a fire detection algorithm based on motion information and color information analysis. Conventional fire detection algorithms have as main problem the difficulty to detect fire due to external light, intensity, background image complexity, and little fire diffusion. So we propose a fire detection algorithm that accurate and fast. First, it analyzes the motion information in video data and then set the first candidate. Second, it determines this domain after analyzing the color and the domain. This algorithm assures a fast fire detection and a high accuracy compared with conventional fire detection algorithms. Our algorithm will be useful to real-time fire detection in real world.
We present an efficient block-based motion estimation algorithm with motion analysis. The motion analysis determines a size of search pattern and a maximum repeated count of search pattern. In case of large movement in large image, we reduce search points and the local minimum which caused by low performance. The proposed algorithm employs with searching step of 2. The first step determines an initial search point with neighbor block vector and a size of initial search pattern. The second step determines a size of search pattern and a maximum repeated count with motion analysis. We improve motion prediction accuracy while reducing required computational complexity compared to other fast block-based motion estimation algorithms.

In this paper, we present the results of the numerical analysis employing CONWEP, LS-DYNA FSI(Fluid Structure Interaction), AUTODYN FSI, LS-DYNA ALE(Arbitrary Lagrange Eulerian) and combination of CONWEP and LS-DYNA ALE for blast door fracture and wave propagation through the tunnel by the external explosion. We compared the numerical analysis results with the subscale test data and selected combination of CONWEP and LS-DYNA ALE method as adequate data generation method for the FRM(Fast Running Model) software development. It is expected to save much time and costs by using the numerical simulation data for the various test conditions.

This paper introduces a fast Fourier transform (FFT)-based spectral dynamic analysis method for the transient responses as well as the steady-state responses of the linear discrete systems subject to non-zero initial conditions. The forced vibration of a viscously damped three-DOF system is considered as the illustrative numerical example. The proposed spectral analysis method is evaluated by comparing its results with the exact analytical solutions and the numerical solutions obtained by the Runge-Kutta method.
The safety level of Sodium Fast Reactors is directly related with the sodium void reactivity. A low-void effect design has been proposed within the Horizon2020 ESFR-SMART project thanks to the introduction of a sodium plenum above the active core. In order to assess the impact of this core conception on transient analysis, a map with the spatial distribution of sodium void worth can be computed and fed into a point-kinetics-based transient code. Due to the spatial correlations between neighboring zones, the global effect of voiding two different axial or radial regions is not necessarily the sum of both individual contributions. Neglecting those correlations in the void worth map and consequently in the transient analysis may lead to an unrealistic prediction of the transient sequences. In this work, a method based on sensitivity analysis and similarity assessment is proposed for predicting those correlations. The method proved to be able to establish correlations between axial slices of a sub-assembly and was checked against realistic sodium void propagation patterns.
Recently, some frequency domain CMA (Constant Modulus Algorithm) have been introduced in an effort to reduce computational complexities [1,2]. In [1], a fast algorithm that minimizing cost function designed for block input signal is employed, while in [2], a novel cost function that minimizing sample by sample input is used. Although, the two fast algorithm save computational complexities as compared to CMA, the convergence behaviors of the two fast algorithm show different results with repsect to CMA. Thus, in this paper, some analytical results on the error surface of the fast frequency domain CMA are introduced. From the analytical results, we show that the more recent algorithm [2] outperforms the previous algorithm [1]. Simulation results reveals that the recent algorithm [2] shows 50% enhanced convergence with respect to the old fast algorithm [1]. Also, we show that the recent fast algorithm [2] has comparable convergence performance with respect to conventional CMA algorithm.
This study was to investigate the consumption patterns of fast food in small city. The survey was conducted by questionnaires from March to April in 1997. The object was 500 men and women who were in their teens through fifties and living in Kimchen and Sangju city. A total of 444 subjects(88.8%) excluding incomplete answer were analyzed, all statistical data analysis were conducted using the $SAS/PC^+$. 1. The reason why people go to fast food restaurants are quickness, a convenient place, good taste, low prices, good service, and good atmosphere. There was significant correlation with each element with one exception between taste and prices. 2. On the question about the fast food which was eaten most frequently, responded hamburger to 39.86%, noodles to 29.50%, chicken to 16.67%, pizza to 10.36% and the others to 3.60%. And female, teens and twenties ate hamburger more often and another groups ate noodles more often. 3. The standard of choosing fast food restaurants was taste, prices, sanitation, atmosphere and service. There was significant correlation with exception between taste and prices, sanitation and service, atmosphere and service. 4. About propriety of fast food serving size as one meal, it was not enough portion for female and 40s. 5. The awareness that eating foreign-made food was not right, was significant difference among age groups, but not sex. 6. Customers was discontented with sanitation, price and service. There was also significant correlation with each element. 7. The frequency of eating fast food was 1-2 times/a month(35.36%), 3-5 times/a month(31.31%), 5-10 times/a month(18.24%), hardly using(11.04%), 10-20 times/a month(2.70%), over 20 times/a month(1.35%). There was significant difference among sex and age groups.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation of the fast food and beverage intake on sociality and anger expression of adolescents. Questionnaires were distributed to the adolescents of 599 middle and high school students in Busan. According to the results, the preference-intake frequency analysis (PEA) on fast food grid, high preference and high intake frequency were 'dukbokki', 'chicken' and 'mandu' and low preference and high intake frequency were 'ramyon', 'gimbab. PEA on beverage grid, high preference and high intake frequency were 'milk-dairy product', 'fruit juice', 'isotonic beverage' and low preference and high intake frequency were 'carbonate drink'. The intake frequency of 'pizza', 'sandwich', 'udong', and 'dukbokki' had a positive relationship with sociality. 'Hamburger', 'chicken', 'french fry', 'gimbab', 'mandu', and 'ramyon' showed a positive relationship with anger-out. The intake frequency of 'carbonated drink' had a negative relationship with anger-control, but 'green tea' showed a positive relation with it. 'Carbonate drink', 'isotonic beverage', 'coffee', and 'milkshake' had a negative relationship with anger-out. The explanation power ($R^2$) of intake of fast food and beverage on sociality was $0.019{\sim}0.038$, and 'carbonated drink' and 'coffee' had a negative influence on sociality. The explanation power ($R^2$) of intake of fast food and beverage on anger expression was $0.011{\sim}0.041$, and 'carbonated drink' had a negative influence on angercontrol. 'Hamburger', 'carbonated drink', and 'coffee' showed a positive influence on anger-out. From these results, it was necessary to develop the practical eating-out habits program on proper fast food and beverage choice for adolescents.

Background: To determine the influence of lifting speed and type on peak and cumulative back compressive force (BCF) and shoulder moment (SM) loads during symmetric lifting. Another aim of the study was to compare static and dynamic lifting models. Methods: Ten male participants performed a floor-to-shoulder, floor-to-waist, and waist-to-shoulder lift at three different speeds [slow (0.34 m/s), medium (0.44 m/s), and fast (0.64 m/s)], and with two different loads [light (2.25 kg) and heavy (9 kg)]. Two-dimensional kinematics and kinetics were determined. A three-way repeated measures analysis of variance was used to calculate peak and cumulative loading of BCF and SM for light and heavy loads. Results: Peak BCF was significantly different between slow and fast lifting speeds (p < 0.001), with a mean difference of 20% between fast and slow lifts. The cumulative loading of BCF and SM was significantly different between fast and slow lifting speeds (p < 0.001), with mean differences ${\geq}80%$. Conclusion: Based on peak values, BCF is highest for fast speeds, but the BCF cumulative loading is highest for slow speeds, with the largest difference between fast and slow lifts. This may imply that a slow lifting speed is at least as hazardous as a fast lifting speed. It is important to consider the duration of lift when determining risks for back and shoulder injuries due to lifting and that peak values alone are likely not sufficient.
The demographic characteristics of research examinees showed that male students were 122(44%) and female ones 155(56%), and teenagers 142 per age. The average monthly pocket money appeared that 96 students received more than 200,000(34.7%) and it was analyzed that 243(87.7%) resided in their homes. The research of fast-food choice factors resulted in the fact that female students who were easily influenced by their friends were 83, while males 57. And, mascom took influence on 40 female students and 20 male ones, besides other included 39 male and 30 female students. They most preferred hamburger and pizza(94) among the fast-food menus, and taste like seasame was most preferred among the characteristic factors of foods taste. And as a result of factor analysis of menu, Cronbach alpha coefficient Fc 2 of reliability appeared highest as 0.7694, next, Fc 3 as 0.6965, and Fc 1 lowest as 0.6403. The reliability among the specific items of this study may be regarded high. And the difference between groups according to gender appeared that Fc 1, Fc 2, and Fc 3 were significantly different at 5% level as a result of T-examination analysis and the distributed analysis of the average monthly pocket money resulted in the fact that the difference between groups appeared significantly at F3 below significant level of 0.05. The testing of the difference of reason why the fast-food is preferred according to frequency of use per week lead to Chi-square value of 41.399 with free degree of 12, so significant degree became 0.000. The zero hypothesis that the two variables are not independent each other is not reserved because it has a small value of signigicant degree below 0.05, and the permanent hypothesis is adopted.
