  • Many off-line fashion brands currently has construct hompage in the form of digital contents at the website. The purpose of this study is to confirm that fashion item of avartar can be applicate to react for consumer desires by a process of construction for hompage digital contents of fashion brand, and develop various avartar fashion item to satisfy consumer's wants using the computer graphics. The results of this study are as followings. First, it should be the first to decide whether hompage contents can be used for any purposes. And it will offer initial brand concept, followed by the contents of event, blog, avatar, fashion information. Second, portal sites currently service avatar fashion item, but it just bounds the limit of indirect effect. Many fashion brands face a challenge to differenciate themselves, so avatar fashion item should be planned to coordinate the contents and brand concept. Also it is certainly possible that fashion brand communicates larger consumers with a avartar fashion item that appeal to a consumer's sensibility. Third, this study propose design development and application as 3 of the avartar fashion item using the computer graphics. Avatar Fashion item using the computer graphics was presented by application as promotion through event garment, item coordinate, cellular phone service.

서울과 북경 여성들의 데님패션 비교 연구 (Comparison of Women's Denim Fashion between Seoul and Beijing)

  • Denim has been one of the most favored clothing item among young people regardless of regional difference. This study compared the styling of women's denim fashion in two Asian metro-cities, Seoul and Beijing, in order to understand how differ the fashion taste of both cities. Data was collected by taking photos of young women who wear denim clothing at the main streets of downtowns or famous shopping areas of both cities from the July of 2004 till the April of 2005. A total of 524 photos(Seoul 242, and Beijing 282) were put into content analysis. Results showed that there were several similarities and differences in denim styling between two cities in terms of the most widely worn denim items and the coordinate items, and the favored colors, silhouette, details of denim pants and the coordinate items. In Seoul, women favored denim look with little detail, fitted silhouette, and in more formal image. A few denim styles prevailed in each season which reflect current denim fashion trends. Meanwhile a wide variety of denim styles were found at Beijing without dominant denim trends, which means Beijing women put more emphasis on personal expression of their fashion taste instead of just following fashion trends.

  • Since the beginning of time people had been using color to mark territory and decorate their surroundings. Color was taken for granted today as an intrinsic part of every waking moment. In modern age, color education was very important curriculum of art and design. In general, color expressed by hue, value and chroma but used the tone on the design spot, therefore the tone concept education was very important to color education. In this study I planned the usable "Systematic Color Coordinate System 180" for general color education on hue and tone color system and manufactured the color papers, color chart and color code based on the system. "Systematic Color Coordinate System 180" was attached the Munsell notation and common color names which could reappear the colors when needed.

  • This research designed usable standard color chart which was planned by hue and tone color system. This research studied 5 types standard color chart by designed tone map and preceding research. "Basic Color Chart 14 Colors" was planned for kindergarteners. "Primary Color Chart 63 Colors" was planned for schoolboys. "Middle Grade Color Chart 114 Colors" was planned for junior high school students. "High Grade Color Chart 152 Colors" was planned for senior high school students. "Hue and Tone 205 Colors" was planned for university students and general publics. These 5 types standard color chart were produced the trial color coordinate card and attached the Munsell notation which could reappear the spare color paper when needed. These 5 types standard color chart would be offered the data base for efficient color coordinate education as school age.

  • 현대사회는 정보사회이다. 오늘날의 패션산업은 정보의 산물이라고 이를 정도로 라디오, 텔레비젼 그리고 신문이나 잡지와 같은 다양한 정보매체에 의하여 전파되고 있다. 패션저널리즘이란 저널리즘의 한 분야로서 출판이나 방송 등 정보매체를 통해 패션에 관한 정보나 의견을 대중들에게 전달하는 활동을 이른다.1) 이미 영국과 같은 유럽 패션 선진국에서는 오래 전부터 패션저널리즘이 저널리즘의 한 분야로 정착되기 시작하였고 10년 전부터는 의상디자인 학과 내에 패션저널리즘 전공프로그램이 설정되어 신문, 잡지 등 저널리즘에 종사하는 패션저널리스트를 배출하는데 큰 몫을 담당하고 있으며 아울러 실무에 종사하고 있는 기자들의 재교육 프로그램으로도 활용되고 있다. 우리 나라의 여성잡지는 패션정보의 공급원으로서의 역할을 수행해 왔다 할 수 있으며 패션화보 기사를 처음 다룬$\boxDr$여원$\boxUl$을 효시로 하여 그 역사가 40년에 이른다. 본 연구는 우리 나라 패션저널리즘을 체계화할 필요성에서 시작되었으며 일반 대중을 대상으로 한 우리 나라의 패션관련잡지의 성향과 구성내용을 분석 하므로써 패션저널리즘의 동향을 파악하여 우리 나라 패션저널리즘의 틀을 구축하고자 하였다. 연구 방법은 최근 간행된 패션관련잡지에 실린 패션기사를 대상으로 하여 패션기사 량, 패션이미지, 패션기사의 성격을 정량적, 정성 적으로 비교 분석하고 잡지의 제호 변경이 패션 기사내용에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 여성지의 패션기사는 패션저널리즘의 역사적 발전 과정에서 점차 그 위치를 확고히 구축해 가고 있는 것이 발견되었는데, 결론적으로 우리 나라 패션저널리즘은 정보의 전문화, 독자 연령층의 하향화, 외국잡지의 국내 정착화의 과정에 놓여 있는 것이 뚜렷이 발견되고 있었다. 본 논문은 의상브랜드의 브랜드 포지션 닝을 통해서 패션저널리즘의 동향을 대상연령층과 패션이미지의 상관 관계로 정립해보고자 시도해 본 적이며 패션저널리즘 교육의 전문화와 패션저널리즘에 대한 지속적이고 심층적인 연구가 필요하다고 본다.

  • This study is investigated the formative characteristics of Rap Music and Hiphop fashion, and I try to comprehend about the fashion mind and fashion culture of teenager 1. Teenager's Hiphop Fashion is subcultures, the fashion culture of teenager reflects their unique identity. 2. The formative characters of Rap Music and Hiphop Fashion are the incompatibility ignored their body size and the popularity caused street fashion imitation, the unbalance ignored a principle of fashion design. 3. Hiphop Fashion is consist of jump-style jacket, hood -shirt, stripe T-shirt and drum pants, baggy pants, snowboard pants and so on. 4. The characters of Hiphop Fashion is the breaking of rule and the destruction. 5. They select something which they like, even though the price is high, so they is tendency to editing coordinate 6. Fashion business for teenager, it needs an ideal conversion not for 'company' but for 'individual' As this results, fashion culture of teenager came out to the surface of water, because of Hiphop Fashion.

일본의 패션잡지에 나타난 스트리트 패션 스타일 -1960년대~1990년대를 중심으로 - (The Style of Street Fashion on Fashion Magazine in Japan - from 1960's to 1990's -)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of fashion magazine on the street fashion, focused on Japan. The data were collected from the magazines and newspapers published in Japan from 1960's to 1990's. Fashion magazine has three functions : transmit information function, education and criticism function, advertisement and entertainment function. And, it has influenced on the street fashion by grasping the fashion trend and consumer needs, and communicating the vision to reader in Japan. The results were as follows : 1. the ivy look of 'Heibon Punch' in the 1960's, 2. the coordinate look of 'Anan' and 'Nanno', 3. the outdoor look of 'Popeye' in the 1970's, 4. the new traditional style of 'JJ' in the 1970's - 1980's, 5. lyceenne look of 'Olive' in the 1980's, 6. Shibu-Kaji style of 'McSister', 7. the supermarket style of 'Cutie' in the 1990's.

실시간 패턴 변형과 인체 상대좌표계를 이용한 대화형 3D 패턴 디자인 (Interactive 3D Pattern Design Using Real-time Pattern Deformation and Relative Human Body Coordinate System)

  • Garment design needs an iterative manipulation of 2D patterns to generate a final sloper. Traditionally there have been two kinds of design methodologies such as the flat pattern method and the pattern draping method. But today, it is possible to combine the advantages from the two methods due to the realistic cloth simulation techniques. We devised a new garment design system which starts from 3D initial drape simulation result and then modifies the garment by editing the 2D flat patterns synchronously. With this interactive methodology using real-time pattern deformation technique, the designer can freely change a pattern shape by watching its 3D outlook in real-time. Also the final garment data were given relative coordinates with respect to the human anthropometric feature points detected by an automatic body feature detection algorithm. Using the relative human body coordinate system, the final garments can be re-used to an arbitrary body data without repositioning in the drape simulation. A female shirt was used for an example and a 3D body scan data was used for an illustration of the feature point detection algorithm.

가상 3D 패션 코디네이션 연구 (A Study of Virtual 3D Fashion Coordination)

  • Today, many people seek for their own personal character which is distinguished from another people and they utilize fashion coordination as the was of expression their own image. In addition, interest in electronic commerce and cuber shopping mall on the internet is increasing. For this reason, visual and interesting virtual fashion coordination system is needed. The purpose of this study is to propose possibility of fashion coordination by virtual 3D model. For this study, 1. We make a 3D standard body model by automatic generation. 2. We make 3D fashion item (sleeveless top and flare skirt) by automatic generation. 3. We combine 3D body model with fashion item by special point, grouping and gap being between body and clothes. 4. We make textile palettes and textile DB for texture mapping and rendering. As a effect of this study, 1. It can give the chance to coordinate clothes suitable for their own character and bodyshape on the cuber space more speedily and variously. 2. It can help fashion internet shopping mall company can save a time, expenses and tries to advertise their new products, offer service for customers and lead customers to purchasing. 3. It can accumulate a database of design and textile for using by fashion and textile industry.

현대복식에 나타난 Asian Ethnic Fashion에 대한 연구-동남아시아 지역 중심으로- (The Study of Asian Ethnic Fashion in Modern Fashion-Focusing on Southeast Asia-)

  • Recently Southeast Asia has developed, so the world concerns about these regions. Ethnic fashion in 90's is mostly the influence of these regions' folk costume. The purpose of this study is to review aes-thetic aspects of folk costume in Southeast Asia, to investigate the influence on modern fashion and to predict the possibility of Asia fashion's adaption to modern fashion and to help the cre-ation of fashion design. First of all, the folk costume in Southeast Asia is classified drapery style and sarong style. These non-west clothing appeal to modern fashion as the oriental tranditional beauty. Ethnic fashion appeared in 1990's is attempted to be more complex and variable than the pre-vious ethnic fashion. Asian ethnic fashion influenced from folk costume of Southeast Asia is-wholly or party-the style, color, motif from each country's folk costume. And each country's unique art became the motive of the creative design. Specially, Aosai and Quan in Vietnam and sar-ong style in most Southeast Asia are important motives expressing minority's nostalgia. These are expressed in variable ways. Which are harmonized with latest other fashion trend : retro style and naturalism, Layered look, hippie look, unfinished sewing technic and manual technic are used one image matched the folk costume of Southeast Asia which is natural. Another characterstic in Asian ethnic fashion is a multi-ethnic. This harmonizes the different culture between the Orient and the West beyond the age and culture, and combines each folk costume. It is involved that the fashion can develop indivisual country's costumes mixed with her own unique characteristics and the fashion break the traditional concept and disagree with a certain coordinate rule and it indicates that the fashion shows various style, mood, volume and room as well as space. Like this recent Asian ethnic fashion comes to us in a strange favor. The people who are tired of traditional western civilization's outcome will receive a great tastes from the Asian ethnic fashion.
