결혼이주여성의 사회적 자본이 문화변용에 미치는 영향 -네트워크 요인과 인지적 요인의 종단적 관계를 중심으로- (Creation of Social Capital and its' Influence on Acculturation of Married Migrant Women)

  • 본 연구는 한국사회 결혼이주여성의 사회적 자본의 네트워크 요인과 인지적 요인간의 종단적관계를 살펴보고, 궁극적으로 이들의 문화변용에 영향을 미치는지를 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 자녀가 있는 결혼이주여성의 종단패널자료 중 2개년도의 자료를 활용하여 매개경로모형을 설정하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 결혼이주여성의 사회적 자본 중 네트워트적 요인인공식적 지원이 신뢰감, 소속감 및 지역사회와의 관계 등과 같은 인지적 요인의 형성에 기여하고 있음을 보여준다. 또한 이들의 공식적 지원과 인지적 측면의 사회적 자본은 문화변용에 모두 긍정적으로 영향을 미치는데, 이는 가족의 범위를 넘어서 지역사회 내에서의 활동참여나공식적이고 체계적인 지원의 중요성을 보여준다. 본 연구는 결혼이주여성의 사회적 자본의 형성과정 및 사회적 자본과 문화변용간의 관계에 대한 이해의 기반을 제공하며, 실천적으로 가족과 친구 등에 의한 비공식적 지원이 아닌 공식적 지원체계의 수립의 필요성을 제시한다는점에서 의의를 지닌다.

노인의 여가유형과 사회적 지지가 우울에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Leisure Types and Social Supports on Elderly Depression)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the leisure and social support types which affect elderly depression. The study sample comprised 275 cases, and the analysis was performed by t-test, ANOVA, multiple regression and stepwise regression on SPSS ver. 10.0. The following three principle results were obtained: First, the types of leisure and social support differed according to domographic profiles. Second, among 6 sub-factors of leisure type, sports and viewing impressions activities contributed positively to elderly depression, as did emotional and appraisement supports among 4 sub-factors of social support. Third, stepwise regression analysis, conducted to determine the effect weights of factors of leisure types and social supports, showed that emotional support, social relationships activity, and viewing impressions activity strongly affected elderly depression in the order listed. Based of these results, the study suggested methods for developing an active leisure activities program which is necessary to minimize elderly depression.

가구유형별 농촌 노인의 사회적지지 및 건강이 우울감에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Social Supports and Health on the Depression of the Rural Elderly: Focus on Household Patterns)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of social supports and health on the depression of the rural elderly according to their household patterns. Data were collected from 1,000 of the elderly over 65 living in rural Korea. A questionnaire was used with direct interviews and was analyzed through descriptive statistics, ANOVA, and a multiple regression analysis. The major findings of this study are as follows. First, the general characteristics, social supports, and health of the rural elderly are significantly different according to their household patterns. Second, depression in the rural elderly is also significantly different according to household patterns; elderly people in a single household report greater depression than elders in a coupled household or those in a household with a child. Third, satisfaction with health conditions and nutrition management variables has a significant influence on the depression of the rural elderly in all household patterns. Fourth, there are differences among variables that affect depression of the rural elderly according to their household patterns.

지역대학 대학생의 자아존중감이 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향 - 사회적 지지의 조절효과 - (Self-Esteem Influencing College Students' Adjustment - Moderating Effects on Social Support -)

  • Self-esteem and social supports are important variable influencing adjustment to college life. The study aims to identify the factors influencing college students' adjustment moderating effects on social supports. Data were collected from 265 usable questionnaires among college students in Pyeongtek University. Results of a factor analysis yielded three dimensions of self-esteem which were talent/attitude and capacity/pride. And results of factor analysis also yielded three dimensions of social supports which were family, friends, and professor supports. Hierarchical regression analysis revealed that capacity/pride and all of social support factors affected significantly for adjustment to college life. And female and attitude for students' major had a positive affect on adjustment to college life. It was suggested that self-esteem, social supports, and aptitude for students' major should be considered in college management policy.

Determinants of Family Supports for Young Renter Households

  • This study explored determinants of family support that young renter households received to afford their housing costs. Microdata set of the 2014 Korea Housing Survey was used as secondary data for the study. Total 1,752,899 households headed by persons between 20 and 34 years of age and whose rental type was either Jeon-se or monthly rental with deposit in private rental units were selected as study subjects. For the data analysis, a series of discriminant analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS 21.0. Major findings were as follows. (1) Among the subjects, 28.2% were found to receive financial support from parents or other relatives. (2) To see the discriminant analysis results, a linear combination of seven household and housing characteristics (householder's gender, whether or not the householder worked in the previous week, whether or not the householders have a spouse, tenure type, structure type, location and deposit amount) could explain 44.6% of variance in young renter households' receipt of family support with a prediction accuracy of 77.2%. (3) To summarize the final discriminant model, Jeon-se renter households in location other than Incheon or Gyeonggi Province living in a unit in structure other than multifamily structure headed by younger householders that did not worked previous week or without spouse; with a greater deposit had the maximum tendency to receive family support to pay rental costs.

농촌지역 여성 노인의 가족형태와 삶의 질 (The Quality of Life with family structure among the aged women who living in rural areas)

  • This study aims at identifying any difference in the quality of life according to the patterns of living together in the family for the aged women who live in the rural areas. The findings of this study can be summarized in brief. First, those aged women who live alone showed a higher ratio of works like farming with less average income and less perception of living standards but better ADL than those of the aged women who live together with their family. Second, as a result of logistic regression analyses to identify factors to predict the patterns of living together in the family for the aged women in the rural areas, those aged women who live alone showed more cases of farming, higher ADL level, higher degree of economical preparations and more perception of intimacy with their offspring than those of aged women who live together with their family. Unlike these results, those aged women who live together with their family have less average income, more phone calls with their neighbor and higher quality of life that those of aged women who live alone. Third, as a result of impact variables in the quality of life by the pattern of living together in the family for the aged women in the rural areas, those aged women who live together their family showed higher quality of life with better preparations for the health, emotion and economy for their aged life, and with less number of offspring and more frequency of phone calls with their neighbor. In addition, those aged women who live along in the rural areas showed higher quality of life with better emotional preparations, better economic preparations, more number of offspring, more friendly with their neighbor and more emotional supports.

  • This study shows how community can support the work-family balance and stimulate efforts of community within it. For this purpose, community concepts are defined and its demands and resources are compared with those of work and the family, Furthermore, it will examine the conditions which individuals, couples and neighborhoods need for work since the family balance is examined through the family-friendly community index. Various examples of volunteer activities or movements within the community that will support the work-family balance of the neighbors are also demonstrated. Also, the alternatives fur healthy family support activities in Korea are suggested.

장기 생활설계를 위한 가계 분석 (The Analysis of household Income and Expenditure For Family Economic Planning -for the Housewives in Busan-)

  • The purpose of this study is to establish the family economy planning in the side of economic welfare and to discuss its problems. Hypothesis testing and survey analysis whether nuclear family have been formed in the urban communities or not are investigated. Also, survey of family economic period are classified in the following manner. First, as the beginning of family, they are interested in savings, children's education and investment of an estate. Third, as the contracting period of family, they rely upon other's financial supports. Therefore, it is desirable for each family to establish family life cycle planning. As the results of hypothesis testing, 1) Nuclear family have been formed in urban communities. 2) The age of housewives is not concerned with whether their husband's parents live in the same house or not. 3)The age of housewives is not concerned with whether their parents lived with them or not. 4) The relationship between the age of housewives and monthly income is not significant. 5) The relationship between the age of housewives and monthly expenditure is significant. 6)The relationship between the age of housewives and monthly savings is not significant.
