  • In the 1980s, even though Italy faced economic depression, Italy (she), now, internationally became a strong nation with its best design by national unity and the developmental leap of industry through design. In Italy, especially, small and medium enterprises are accumulated by the same business in each area on the structure of a Cluster system. Italy has some characteristics that being the Italians' elastic way of management, family management and development of a consortium of small and medium enterprises, which have flexibility, imagination and decisiveness. We have to bring these intensified factors of design competitiveness to our country so that we should form the union in order to have a monopoly of specific enterprises based on the specialized technology of small and medium enterprises innovating the structure of a small quantity production having developmental flexibility. We also heighten the sense of designer and publics by achieving social opinion and cult! ural revival. Moreover, the mind of managers has to be changed more aggressively. Finally, the actual policy of design will be established and peformed, and design-company (enterprises) and the industrial economy will generally develop when we activate the structure of the industry centered on small and medium enterprises and design-related association that is united and participates in the establishment of design policy.

Methods: Thirty middle-aged women living in metropolitan Seoul and Gyeonggi and Chungcheong provinces agreed to participate in this study. The data were collected through in-depth interviews with the participants in one-on-one settings. The data were analyzed qualitative using Colaizzi's method of phenomenology. Results: The three theme clusters were extracted from the raw data, along with 13 themes and 138 meaningful sentences and phrases. The three happiness theme clusters in middle-aged women were "live healthy for stability," "rule one's mind for harmony," and "activate hopes for self-esteem." The first theme cluster included healthy life, economic stability, physical youth, and positive thought. The second theme cluster included that harmonious family, ruling of mind, my position as invisible person in social relationships, and precious relationships to support. The last theme included the center of one's life is oneself, a sense of accomplishment, self-improvement, recognition of one's worth and rest for one self. The three theme clusters were associated with the existence, relatedness, and growth (ERG) of ERG areas, respectively. Conclusions: We conclude that the core components of happiness in middle-aged women are to live healthy and mind-ruled and activate hope. The nature of happiness is egocentric stability in middle-aged women. The results suggest that theme clusters might be used to develop a scale for measuring happiness in middle-aged women. • Activating and inhibitory cell surface receptors play important roles in regulation of immune responses. Recent progress has demonstrated that many inhibitory receptors pair with activating, as well as inhibitory, isoforms, both of whose genes are located in small clusters on a chromosome. We and others identified paired activating and inhibitory immunoglobulin-like receptors, designated myeloid-associated immunoglobulin-like receptors (MAIR) (CD300). MAIR is a multigene family consisting of nine genes on a small segment of mouse chromosome 11. MAIR family receptors are preferentially expressed on myeloid cells, including macrophages, dendritic cells, granulocytes, and bone-marrow-derived cultured mast cells, and a subset of B cells and regulate activation of these cells. Thus, MAIR plays an important role in innate immunity mediated by myeloid cells.

  • The primary purpose of this study was to analyze the types of home managers in association with effects of resourcefulness, communication and the conditions for effective home management' proposed by Shape and Winter(1991). A survey was conducted by subjects of 300 wives in Kwangju city. The statistical data were obtained by cluster analysis, one-way ANOVA, Duncan's test and chi-square test. Manager types based on the four conditions, resourcefulness and communication were classified into four clusters. Educational background, job status, family types, family life cycle and age difference between the oldest and the youngest child of the subjects were different from manager types. In conclusion, this study identified the four conditions of performance-condition dichotomy, timing, high level and middle range, resourcefulness, and communications in order to develop managerial capability. • In this study, phenomenological methodology was used to understand the experience of family management style in mothers who have children with atopic dermatitis. For study methods, in-depth interview was conducted on 9 mothers residing in Seoul and the approach from phenomenological methodology by Colaizzi was used. As a result, 69 significant statements were deduced as well as 21 themes, 10 theme clusters, and 4 categories. These main categories include experiences of accepting atopic dermatitis as a reality, family management style for overcoming atopic dermatitis, reality of facing chronic fatigue, and hope and expectation for the child's health. Our study show that the intervention for improving family management style regarding atopic dermatitis is required including the enhancement of the mothers' quality of life and the recovery of family relationship.
