Given the different effects of agricultural mechanization on various stages of wheat planting in Henan, this article selects 78 observation samples from Henan, a major wheat-growing province. It uses different research methods (multiple linear regression, social network analysis model, multi-layer sensory nerves network) to conduct a comparative study, and the calculation results of the model show that the experimental results have a strong convergence and consistency. Agricultural mechanization services have significant effects on the three stages of wheat planting: harvesting, plowing and sowing. A higher degree of mechanized service in several stages can reduce the cost of growing wheat on family farms.
The purpose of this study is to develop the group program model for reinforcing family relations of single-mother families as one approach to family welfare service. As previous research findings about problems of single parent families were reviewed and the framework for the program development was identified, a 6 sessions group program was planned and applied to 9 single-mother families from June 2nd to July 7th. Program evaluation questionnaire, Scales measuring powerlessness and FACESIII for family relations, social support network tool, and group process recording were used for the evaluation of this program. The participants evaluated this program as very supportive, useful, and educational. The powerlessness was reduced in a statistically meaningful way before and after the program and the result was found to be maintained for 4 months in the follow-up session. The family relations according to FACES III were mostly balanced and didn't show some significant change after the termination of this program. The single mothers had little concrete supports from others, if any, had some from relatives. They rather had to give supports for the other family members and reciprocally gave and took emotional or informational supports with friends or neighbors. Based on these results, the 2 step model consisted of brief group program and long term support group was developed and the practical methods were suggested for the single-mother families with low income.

Studies looking at many aspects of SNS addiction have dramatically increased in recent years. Most of the SNS addiction research has focused on individual behaviors. There is little academic research about SNS addiction in the workplace. This study, therefore, plans to examine the organizational behaviors related to SNS addiction in the workplace. We investigate whether negative behaviors in the workplace induce SNS addiction, and how SNS addiction influences the organizational or social attitudes of employees. We also explore the possible mediating effect of SNS addiction. We use an online survey and collected 285 responses from office workers in South Korea. The results tested by a structural equation modeling indicate, first, that both abusive supervision and workplace bullying have aroused SNS addiction among employees; second, employees' SNS addiction increases both from work-to-family-conflicts and family-to-work-conflicts; and third, SNS addiction fully mediates the relationship between abusive supervision and workplace bullying, as well as the relationship among abusive supervision, workplace bullying, and work-family conflicts. The study finds that abusive supervision and workplace bullying are important antecedents of SNS addiction, and that SNS addiction affects conflicts in both work-to-family and family-to-work situations. Therefore, companies should be cognizant of potential mediating influences in monitoring employees' SNS usage in order to improve their work environments.
This study investigated the problems of remarried wife with alcoholic problem. Specifically, this study regarded the wife's alcoholic problem as the problems of dysfunctional interaction among family members rather than an individual problem. The study had three purposes as follows. First, what were the interactions sustaining the conflict of remarried family? Second, what were the characteristics of remarried family relating to family conflict? Third, what were the interventions of family therapy to resolve the conflicts of remarried family? The total family counseling was 9 sessions, which included individual, couple, and family counseling. The study used constant comparative analysis by using open coding method to find the factors relating interactions sustaining the conflict of remarried family, the characteristics of remarried family relating to family conflict, and the interventions of family therapy to resolve the conflicts of remarried family. Also, the study used Miles and Huberman's matrix and graphical network display to show the interaction of family members. The study found intriguing factors, counteracting factors, relationship level, and relational elements to wife's alcoholic problems among family members. The study revealed husband's rigid family rules, husband's execution of patriarchal authority, husband's pursuit of family identity, and husband's emphasis of union among family members as the characteristics of remarried family. On the other hand, the study found the reinforcement of spousal subsystem, the pursuit of change in communication pattern between husband and wife, the amelioration of rigid family rules, and the acceptance of differences among family members as the intervention of family therapy to resolve the conflicts of remarried family.
The increased number of foreigners in Korea (now more than 1.8 million) has necessitated understanding, analyzing and interpreting the immigration issues in order to solve the foreign workers' social problems. Foreign workers in Korea are suffering from a lot of difficulties such as bad working conditions, lower income, unpaid wages, cultural adaptation, etc. This paper aims to investigate how the social capital factors (social network and social support) and media use (Korean and Chinese media) influence cultural adaptation and job satisfaction. In addition, the paper aims to provide practical guidelines for social welfare organizations and enterprises which support and recruit them. The sample of our respondents was 273 Chinese workers (216 Korean-Chinese workers and 57 Han-Chinese workers) in Korea. We used SPSS 21.0 for statistical analysis. The results are as follows: Korean network, native network, family support, native support and Korean media use have a significant effect on cultural adaptation. Korean network, native network, family support, native support and Korean media use have a significant impact on job satisfaction. Furthermore, cultural adaptation was found to mediate the relationship between Korean/native network and job satisfaction as well as between family/native support and job satisfaction. Cultural adaptation was also found to mediate the relationship between Korean media use and job satisfaction.
This study was designed to investigate whether recruitment of physicians and dentists has been restricted to a social network, such as familial or kinship groups. The data was collected through a self-administered questionnaire survey distributed to a sampling of general physicians, specialists (internists, surgeons, other specialists), and dentists in August 1990. The major findings are as follows : 1) Total number of respondents was 405 ; of these, general physicians made up 48.9%, internists 10.4%, surgeons 15.8%, other specialists 4.9%, and dentists 20.0%. 2) 38.5% of the respondents had physicians or dentists in their immediate family or were related in some way to one. Those from urban areas, whose parents were highly educated, and whose father was a professional had more physicians or dentists in their family or kinship. 3) Parents of 7.1% of the respondents, brothers or sisters of 10.1%, grand parents of 1.7%, uncles or aunts of 7.9%, and cousins of 22.0% were physicians or dentists. 4) The majority of physicians or dentists in familial or kinship network specialized n surge, 32.3%, followed by internal medicine ; current worksites were noted as clinics by 30.8%, followed by general hospital, university hospital, and so on. The respondent's ma discipline tended to follow familial or kinship example. Consequently, it was concluded that physicians and dentists have been recruited within restricted familial or kinship network.
The latest measure of the relative evolutionary age of protein structure families was applied (based on taxonomic diversity) using the protein structural interactome map (PSIMAP). It confirms that, in general, protein domains, which are hubs in this interaction network, are older than protein domains with fewer interaction partners. We apply a hypothesis of 'biological network evolution' to explain the positive correlation between interaction and age. It agrees to the previous suggestions that proteins have acquired an increasing number of interaction partners over time via the stepwise addition of new interactions. This hypothesis is shown to be consistent with the scale-free interaction network topologies proposed by other groups. Closely co-evolved structural interaction and the dynamics of network evolution are used to explain the highly conserved core of protein interaction pathways, which exist across all divisions of life.
The purpose of this present study was to investigate the influence of abusive supervision on strain-based work interference with family and interpersonal deviance. In addition, this study examined the mediating effect of subordinates' emotional labor toward supervisors and the moderating effect of hierarchical organizational climates on emotional labor, perceived organizational family support on strain-based work-family conflict, and social network on interpersonal deviance. The results are summarized as follows: (1) abusive supervision was positively related to subordinates' emotional labor toward supervisors. (2) Emotional labor was positively related to strain-based work-family conflict and interpersonal deviance. (3) Subordinates' emotional labor mediated the relationship between abusive supervision and the two outcome variables. (4) Hierarchical organizational climates moderated the relationship between abusive supervision and emotional labor. (5) Perceived organizational family did not have moderating effect between emotional labor and strain-based work-family conflict. (6) Social network had moderating effect but it did not influence interpersonal deviance as predicted by the hypothesis. Based on the results, implications of findings, limitations, and suggestions for future research were discussed.
This study examines the changing paradigm of family welfare policy and tries to find an appropriate model for the delivery system of family welfare service. First, the study reviews the contexts of family policy in new paradigm, and traces the changing process of family welfare-related administration from the ministry of human and health to the ministry of family and gender equality. Second, the study examines the principles of the delivery system for family welfare service to pursue the advancement of family policy. In conclusion, it proposes an alternative model for the successful settlement into community of family welfare delivery system, and a desirable position and role of family support center. The principles of the delivery system of family welfare service is fundamentally to make family policy come realistic, such as strengthening family stability through the harmonic reconciliation of work and family, preventing any forms of families from social safety net, and securing happy lives. Comprehensiveness, continuity, effectiveness, and accessibility of the system are also needed. In particular, family support center, recently very controversial, could be better as a representative council of networking various kinds of community organizations in the fields of family welfare enhancement, rather than organization of direct service provision, such as family counselling, education and therapy. Finally, an alternative model of delivery system for family welfare service is presented.
Objectives : Loneliness is associated with negative mental and physical health. However, little is known about the risk factors of loneliness in the Korean elderly living alone. The aim of this study was to examine sociodemographic and social network related risks for loneliness among the elderly living alone. Methods : This is a cross-sectional study that enrolled 1,091 subjects who are the community-residing elderly living alone. Sociodemographic status, medical condition, cognition, mood disorder and levels of loneliness were collected using a self-administered questionnaire and a specific semi-structured interview conducted by a trained nurse. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze data regarding sociodemographic variable and loneliness. Univariate and Multivariate regression analyses were applied to examine factors associated with loneliness. Results : The mean score of loneliness was 3.8 (SD=1.7). No family contact (standardized β=0.115, p<0.001), no religious attendance (standardized β=0.057, p=0.028), no gathering with friends (standardized β=0.088, p=0.001) and high score of Short for of Geriatric Depression Scale (standardized β=0.502, p<0.001) were significantly associated with high loneliness in the elderly living alone. Conclusions : Family function, social network and depressive mood could be significant risk factors for high loneliness in the elderly living alone. Public health promotion efforts to reduce loneliness should focus on improving family function, social network and decreasing depression.
