The family in it's social function satisfies different social and emotional needs. On the other hand the business function is result-oriented the decision -marking process and behavioral pattern must be based on an objective economic model in order for the family business to compete and survive It's important to handle the overlap between the social and the business functions of Family Business and offers some guidelines on how to address with the overlap problems This study is a useful instrument for researcher educators practitioners and policy makers.

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the psychological distance through semantic app-roach perceived by adolescent child in the subtypes of 'Extrem Family' dysfunctional families by classification of Olson and his associates ' Circrumplex Model. The subjects of this research were 1072 abolescents living in Seoul. Korea The survey methods were questionnaires including FACES II and The Psychological Distance Scale. Data were analyzed by means of the statistics of frequency percentage arithematic mean standard devia-tion crosstabs and one way-anova. • The family concepts and values are investigated in this research, using data from a sample of 999 residents aged 14 to 89 years in Seoul. The results indicate that the family concepts of the subjects imply marital and/or parent-child relationships with normative gender role. People tend to regard divorced, remarried, and adopted members as famines, while classifying gay/lesbian couples, members living together in a communal fashion, and single households into nonfamily groups. People evaluate that the current Korean family doesn't adequately meet the functional needs of families in emotional support, solidarity, recreation, leisure, social and economic security, and generational transmission of culture. More conclusions and implications are discussed.

  • This study examines family relationship among North Korean migrant families in early adaptation (approximately, up to $5{\sim}6$ years after arrival in the South). Family cohesion, communication, power relationship, and conflicts and domestic violence among family members were examined by the perceptions of 67 male and female householders and their spouses. In the four areas of family relationship, the subjects have quite positive perceptions and shows no critically significant difference on the perceptions between before and after arrival. However, positive perception on family relationship gradually decreases as the length of time of in the South increases with linear or nonlinear patterns according to subcategories of family relationship. These findings suggest several social work practice implications in resettlement assistance for the North Korean migrant families.

  • Tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor members have unique structures composed of 2-4 cysteine - rich pseudorepeats in the extracellular domain. On ligation by trimeric ligand molecules, oligomerization of three receptor molecules occurs, which in turn activates the receptor and recruits intracellular signaling molecules to the cytoplasmic tail to initiate biological events. Recently, the numbers of tumor necrosis factor receptor and ligand family members have been rapidly expanding. Functional characterization of the new members has indicated redundant roles with other known members as well as provided insights into novel functions. In particular, identification of soluble decoy receptors which have the ability to bind multiple ligands highlights a complex control mechanism of immune responses by these molecules. Studies of the new members have also revealed that the TNF receptor and ligand family members play an important role in other than the immune system.

  • In the present study we have attempted to explore the relationship between family support that young people receive and the level of Ego Identity that they develop. We started the present study with the purpose of providing parish nurses with some basic data for nursing intervention for family and school nursing, as well as for community health care. We conducted the present study during the period of October 15, 2001 through November 5, 2001. The objects of this study were Inmunge High School students chosen from a school in Daejon. The subject students were selected randomly from each grade in that school. The numbers of subjects selected were 120 boys and 113 girls (total: 233). The research tool that we used to measure perceived family support received by students was one that Ga Eon Lee revised for high school students on the basis of Cobb's theory. To measure the subject students' Ego Identity level we used Bong Yon Sho's 'Ego Identity Scale', that he revised from Dignan's 'Ego Identity Scale' for Korean high school students. Data were analyzed with SPSS Win 10.0 program using statistics of frequencies, percentage, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficient. The findings of the present study indicate that: 1) The mean of family support that the subject students feel that they received was 39.99 on the family support scale, and the mean of the students on the Ego Identity scale was 186.16. 2) The support that the subjects received from their own family had a statistically significant correlation with their Ego Identity (r=.93, p=.00). 3) Various factors had a significant correlation with the level of family support perceived by the subjects: the subject's grade (F=3.35, p=.04), the subject's religion (t=6.39, p=.00), the family's economic situation (F=9.14, p=.00), the birth order (F=27.61. p=.00), the father's education (F=23.17, p=.00), the mother's education (F=28.70, p=.00), parental relationship (F=2657.03, p=.00), and the structure of the family (F=-9.65. p=.00). 4) Various factors had a significant correlation with the level of the subject's Ego Identity: the subjects religion (t=6.20, p=.00), the family's economic situation (F=12.56, p=.00), the birth order (F=22.85, p=.00), the father's education (F=10.37, p=.00), the mother's education (F=20.69, p=.00), parental relationship (F=938.73. p=.00), and the structure of the family (F=-8.74, p=.00). 5) Analyzing sources of support within the family, family members whom the subjects trust most (F=3.08, p=.03) and family members to whom they talk most (F=5.85, p=.00) showed the most significant differences. Analyzing sources of support within the family that affect the level of the subjects' Ego Identity, family members whom the subjects trust most (F=3.30. p=.02) and family members to whom they talk most also showed the most significant differences.

In other words, this study investigated the factors influencing the amount of electronic energy consumption. In this study, we used 678 questionnaires which were selected a quota sampling by living area who were above 20 years old and married. Summary of results of this study follows. In addition, consumers' search for energy saving were appeared passively in young consumers under 30 years old, and the family with the highest household income. Consumers' purchasing energy-efficient products was presented in large size of family members, and young consumers. Second, consumers' environmental oriented behavior, action-directed behavior, healthseeking behavior were significantly related with energy saving behavior, and active information search for energy saving, but not with purchasing energy-efficient products and consuming behavior of electrical energy. Third, the quantity of electric energy consumption was affected by the size of family members, the living size of house related with high energy demand, the attitude for energy saving, and searching information for energy-saving.

  • The changes of neighbor relation by joining communal childcare cooperative are as follows. Neighbors who are cooperative members are consultant who advise on childcare and communal parents who nurture children in communal local society. They are also consultant on problems of couples because one can reveal difficulties and troubles in the relation with the spouse easily to the neighbors. They admit gradually that their daily life can also be shared with other families. Living with neighbors extend the boundary of family and form a sound family culture. On the other hand, because their relationship is satisfactory, they have no need to form relationship with neighbors who are not cooperative members. They regard neighbors who are not cooperative members as 'peoples with different color from us'. Also they recognize exclusive eyesight from neighbor who are not cooperative members. The changes of family relation by joining communal childcare cooperative are as follows. In the relationship between wife and husband, both husband and wife take equal responsibility of childcare and that husband gets to familiar with household matters. In the relationship between parents and children, equality comes true and parents get to blow wars to be good parents. And they neither attach to their children nor bear expansive delusions on their children.
