This study analyzes relevant data based on the mid-sized rental unit. It focuses on how we can set up appropriate mid-sized rental unit plan as its supply has been accelerated over time. The questionnaires used in this study cover a series of categories including site environment, unit plan, neighborhood, economy, and management. The 342 respondents are from the 3-year old apartments at Cheongju. The key findings are as follows. 1) As the average indices including number of family, life cycle, and income under the survey are different in terms of the rental unit sizes between 20 and 30 pyeongs. 2) In general, residents present comparatively high level of satisfaction in terms of residential environments. Their evaluation on the site environment unit plan, and neighborhood is around the average. In contrast, the economic and management efficiency categories are under the average. This study suggests residential guidelines should be derived from tenant differentiation policies dealing with diverse socio-demographic characteristics and satisfaction level. 3) In terms of improvement priority, residents present, higher preference on the management system and site environment. This study advises to establish an appropriate alternative to guarantee effective tenant participation. Considering the lower satisfaction level in the green space, common facilities, and resting space, this study also urges to secure quality control for desirable planning of the mid-sized rental apartments.

Also, it is analyzed the residence factors of area component change that residence satisfaction and importance according to the behavioral patterns of residents. The results are as follows. 1) Total area component ratio of the existing plan was 39.5:40.8:19.7% and dwelling consciousness one was 36.4:44.0:19.6%. Compared private space with public space, public area requested increase rather than private area. 2) In the 17, 19pyung-types dwellers are not happy about dining kitchen and utility room and types of 21, 23pyung-types are dissatisfied in room-2 and room-3, living room and dining kitchen are dissatisfied, too. In case of areas over 25pyung-types are dissatisfied in room-3 and room-4. 3) The behavioral patterns of apartment residents were classified six acts, and the most significant factors are appeared associated the acts of ceremony, relation of neighborship, and reception. The next significant factors are appeared associated the acts of family relation, about food life. So, it is concerned with the scale of public room.

This study developed an integrative curriculum design plan for Home Economics through a deliberation method. This study established a research framework to integrate the deliberation models of Schwab, Walker, and Reid that inherited the intellectual tradition of curriculum deliberation along with the practical reasoning process of Brown and Paolucci from a critical science perspective. The practical research problem was formulated as "What should be done to develop a Home Economics integrative curriculum?" To address this practical research problem, deliberation with deliberators of each small, medium, and large groups was processed for the development of integrative curriculum design plans. An initial proposal was developed from small group deliberation processes. An initial proposal was examined and an alternative plan was developed from medium group deliberation processes. An alternative plan and its consequence were re-examined from large group deliberation processes. The authors finalized a proposal organized on four valued ends of self-formation, intersubjectivity, social action, and life skills. A practical problem focused integrative curriculum was developed and proposed to pursue the four valued ends. The suggested final practical problem focused curriculum demonstrates the power of Home Economics to contribute to the advancement of individuals, families, and society as well as the practical empowerment of students.

This paper deals with two economic optimal designs of constant-stress accelerated life test(ALT) where failure distribution follows one of location-scale family, i. e., exponential, Weibull, and lognormal distributions which have been ones of the popular choices of failure distributions. Two optimization criteria to develop ALT plans are the statistical efficiency per unit expected cost which consists of the fixed test cost, cost being proportional to the number of test units, and variable test cost depending on test period and stress level, and the expected loss which combines Taguchi's quadratic loss function and expected test cost. Optimum plan determines the low stress level, test units allocated to each stress, and censoring times at two stress levels under Type I censoring. The proposed ALT plans are illustrated with a numerical example and sensitivity analyses are conducted to study effects of pre-estimates of design parameters.
This study sought to examine and revise the 'Multicultural Family Support Act' for domestic multicultural families. To this end, we looked at the Multicultural Family Support Act along with the current status and support policies of multicultural families. First, as in Article 1 of the Act, it proposed to reflect Article 3 of the Article 5(basic ideas) to realize the purpose of the law contributing to 'improvement of quality of life' and 'social integration'. Second, the current law stipulates that support and related policies should be implemented every five years, and by conducting planning and due diligence surveys every three years, it suggested the necessity of consensus on the disagreement between the support policy and the planning period. Third, the government proposed a revision to the mandatory regulation (that is, it should be done) under the provisions set by law. Finally, we proposed a plan to designate 'Multicultural Family Day' or to designate it with other family days. As the globalization of the members of each country, which has been rapidly continuing in the 21st century, it is expected that Korea will be able to welcome them and review the act and institutional devices that can be together more than ever.

The data were collected in 141 patients with herpes zoster from September 1 to December 31, 2016 and analyzed by multiple regression analysis using SPSS/WIN 23.0. As a result, the pain level of the herpes zoster was 5.23±2.11, the perceived health status was 3.35±1.04, the self efficacy was 66.36±10.79, the family support was 42.093±8.68, the social support was 59.80±20.42. And the health related quality of life was 74.12±5.73 points. Affecting factors influencing the quality of life of the subjects were perceived health status, Living with family status, and the explanatory power of these variables was 39.0%. Therefore, the health-related quality of life of patients was increased according to positive perceived health status Based on this study, in order to improve the quality of life of patients with herpes zoster, it is necessary for the nurse to arrange a proper mediation plan that can help the positive health condition perception of the patients. It is necessary to develop an effective nursing intervention program based on the influencing factors confirmed in this study.
