Reliability growth rate (or reliability growth curve slope) have the two cases of trend as a constant or changing one during the reliability growth testing. The changing case is very common situation. The reasons of reliability growth rate changing are that the failures to follow the NHPP (None-Homogeneous Poisson Process), and the solutions implemented during test to break out other problems or not to take out all of the root cause permanently. If the changing were big, the "Goodness of Fit (GOF)" of reliability growth curve to test data would be very low and then reduce the accuracy of assessing result with test data. In this research, we are using Duane model and AMSAA model for assessing test data and projecting the reliability level of complex and repairable system as like construction equipment and vehicle. In case of no changing in reliability growth rate, it is reasonable for reliability engineer to implement the original Duane model (1964) and Crow-AMSAA model (1975) for the assessment and projection activity. However, in case of reliability growth rate changing, it is necessary to find the method to increase the "GOF" of reliability growth curves to test data. To increase GOF of reliability growth curves, it is necessary to find the proper parameter calculation method of interesting reliability growth models that are applicable to the situation of reliability growth rate changing. Since the Duane and AMSAA models have a characteristic to get more strong influence from the initial test (or failure) data than the latest one, the both models have a limitation to contain the latest test data information that is more important and better to assess test data in view of accuracy, especially when the reliability growth rate changing. The main objective of this research is to find the parameter calculation method to reflect the latest test data in the case of reliability growth rate changing. According to my experience in vehicle and construction equipment developments over 18 years, over the 90% in the total development cases are with such changing during the developing test. The objective of this research was to develop the newly assessing method and the process for GOF level increasing in case of reliability growth rate changing that would contribute to achieve more accurate assessing and projecting result. We also developed the new evaluation method for GOF that are applicable to the both models as Duane and AMSAA, so it is possible to compare it between models and check the effectiveness of new parameter calculation methods in any interesting situation. These research results can reduce the decision error for development process and business control with the accurately assessing and projecting result.

In the present study, graphene oxide based polyurethane foams were manufactured as a part of the development process of mechanically strengthened polyurethane foam insulation material. This material is used in a liquefied natural gas carrier cargo containment system. The temperature of the containment system is $-163^{\circ}C$. First, graphene oxide was synthesized using the Hummers' method, and it was supplemented into polyol-isocyanate reagent by considering a different amount of graphene oxide weight percent. Then, a bulk form of graphene-oxide-polyurethane foam was manufactured. In order to investigate the cell stability of the graphene-oxide-polyurethane foam, its microstructural morphology was observed, and the effect of graphene oxide on microstructure of the polyurethane foam was investigated. In addition, the compressive strength of graphene-oxide-polyurethane foam was measured at ambient and cryogenic temperatures. The cryogenic tests were conducted in a cryogenic chamber equipped with universal testing machine to investigate mechanical and failure characteristics of the graphene-oxide-polyurethane foam. The results revealed that the additions of graphene oxide enhanced the mechanical characteristics of polyurethane foam. However, cell stability and mechanical strength of graphene-oxide-polyurethane foam decreased as the weight percent of graphene oxide was increased.
There has been many researches aimed at reinforcing the strength of resin, and these have led to the development and use of numerous materials in recent years. A case in point, is the recent development of plasma-treated polyethylene fiber which has been used mainly in fixed provisional restoration to reduce the incidence of fractures. This study aims at assessing whether plasma-treated polyethylene fiber as applied to composite resin is effective in increasing the flexural strength and how applied portions affect this. Twenty-four applied and eight unapplied composite resin bars were fabricated. Twenty-four applied specimens were divided into three groups. Plasma treated polyethylene fiber was applied to the groups each with different portions of composite resin. In the first group, plasma-treated polyethylene fiber was not applied. In the second group, fiber was applied to the compression side of composite resin. Fiber was applied to the tension side in the third group, while fiber was embedded in the tension side of the composite resin in the fourth group. Each specimen was tested by use of a three-point bending strength test with an instron testing machine, and the flexural strength was calculated. The following results were obtained. : 1. Under the conditions of this study, the third and fourth groups demonstrated a statistically greater flexural strength compared to the first and second groups. 2. But there was no statistically significant difference, not only between the first group and the second group, but also between the third group and the fourth group. Taken together, it can be concluded that plasma-treated polyethylene fiber applied to composite resin is an effective method in increasing flexural strength, and the best way of increasing the flexural strength is by application of plasma-treated polyethylene fiber to the tension side, or the embedding of same in composite resin. It must be mentioned however that this test used a static single-load test method. This method determined the maximum stresses that could be tolerated, but this might not be valid where the prediction of clinical failure is concerned. In order therefore to clinically utilize plasma-treated polyethylene fiber to reinforce the composite resin, it is suggested that a further study which considers the various loads be undertaken.

Classic galactosemia (OMIM #230400) is an autosomal recessive inherited metaboic disorder caused by a deficiency of the galactose-1-phosphate uridyltransferase (GALT, EC2.7.7.12) due to mutations in the GALT gene. If untreated, classic galactosemia is a potentially lethal disease presenting with poor feeding, vomiting, jaundice, liver failure, increased bleeding tendency, and septicemia leading to death within a few days after birth. Since 2006, expansion of newborn screening has been enabled the early diagnosis and early intervention of classic galactosemia in Korea. However, newborn screening, followup testing for confirmatory diagnosis and intervention for galactosemia continue to present challenges. In Korea, the prevalence of the classic galactosemia is considered relatively low compared to that of western countries. And the genotype is also clearly different from those of other population. Therefore, our own guideline for confirmatory diagnosis and intervention is needed. Here, the diagnostic algorithm for galactosemia after positive newborn screening result in Korea has been proposed. Considering the low prevalence and different mutation spectrum in Koreans, the early mutation analysis of GALT gene could be a useful tool for the accurate diagnosis and making any treatment decision.
The objective of this study was to compare dentin shear bond strength (DSBS) of dentin bonding agents (DBAs) cured with a plasma arc (PAC) light curing unit (LCU) and those cured with a light emitting diode (LED) LCU. Optical properties were also analyzed for Elipar freelight 2 (3M ESPE); LED LCU, Apollo 95E (DMT Systems); PAC LCU and VIP Junior (Bisco); Halogen LCU. The DBAs used for DSBS test were Scotchbond Multipurpose (3M ESPE), Singlebond 2 (3M ESPE) and Clearfil SE Bond (Kuraray). After DSBS testing, fractured specimens were analyzed for failure modes with SEM. The total irradiance and irradiance between 450 nm and 490 nm of the LCUs were different. LED LCU showed narrow spectral distribution around its peak at 462 nm whereas PAC and Halogen LCU showed a broad spectrum. There were no significant differences in mean shear bond strength among different LCUs (P > 0.05) but were significant differences among different DBAs (P < 0.001).

Purpose: The success of the bonding between electroformed gold and ceramic is dependent on the surface treatment of the pure gold coping. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the bonding strength between the electroformed gold and ceramic with varying surface treatment. Materials and methods: A total of 32 disks,8 were using conventional ceramometal alloy, 24 were using electroforming technique as recommended by manufacturer, were prepared. 24 electroformed disks were divided 3 groups according to surface treatment, i.e. 50 microns aluminium oxide sandblasting(GES-Sand), gold bonder treatment(GES-Bond) and $Rocatec^{TM}$ system(GES-Rocatec). For control group of conventional alloy 50 microns aluminium oxide treatment was done(V-Supragold). Energy dispersive x-ray analysis and scanning electron microscope image were observed. Using universal testing machine, shear bond strength and bonding failure mode at metal-porcelain interface were measured. Results and Conclusion: The following conclusions were drawn: 1. In the energy dispersive x-ray analysis, the Au was main component in electroformed gold(99.9wt%). After surface treatment, a little amount of $Al_2O_3(2.4wt%)$ were found in GES-Sand, and $SiO_2(4wt%)$ in GES-Bond. In GES-Rocatec, however, a large amount of $SiO_2(17.4wt%)$ were found. 2. In the scanning electron microscopy, similar pattern of surface irregu larities were observed in V-Supragold and GES-Sand. In GES-Bond, surface irregularities were increased and globular ceramic particles were observed. In GES-Rocatec, a large amount of silica particles attached to metal surface with increased surface irregularities were observed. 3. The mean shear bond strength values(MPa) in order were $22.9{\pm}3.7(V-Supragold),\;22.1{\pm}3.8(GES-Bond),\;20.1{\pm}2.8(GES-Rocatec)\;and\;13.0{\pm}1.4(GES-Sand)$. There was no significant difference between V-Supragold, GES-Bond, and GES-Rocatec. (P>0.05) 4. Most bonding failures modes were adhesive type in GES-Sand. However, in V-Supragold, GES-Bond and GES-Rocatec, cohesive and combination failures were commonly observed. From the result, with proper surface treatment method electroformed gold may have enough strength compare to conventional ceramometal alloy.

As one of the lightweight software development methodology, the XP (Extreme Programming) is the practical means to improve the productivity and qualify of software through the pursuit of 4 values - communication, simplicity, feedback, and courage. It appears, however, the TDD (Test Driven Development). one of the practices of in. has a problem. which is the unavailability of the test driven development in case of the prolonged period of testing or the failure of securing the independency of the test cases. This results in the emphasis on the importance of the Mock Objects recently. The Mock Objects, the one imitating the faulty real code, has the fundamentals of simplicity allowing even manual script but. due to the inefficiency of manual script of the Mock Objects in a real life, it is implemented the Mock Objects Generator such as Mockotjects, EasyMock in Java. It Is found difficult, however to apply the Mock Objects in C language due to its object -oriented Premise as well as the absence of mock objects generators for C language. Therefore, in this Paper it is presented the CMock, a Mock Objects generator fer C language which allows the easy creation of the Mock Objects, and the study is performed to verify the efficiency accordingly.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the shear bond strength between various commercial all-ceramic system core and veneering ceramics, and evaluate the clinical stability by comparing the conventional metal ceramic system. The test samples were divided into three groups: Ni-Cr alloy (metal bond), yttria-stabilized, tetragonal zirconia polycrystal (Y-TZP) (zirconia bond), lithium disilicate (lithium disilicate bond). The veneering porcelain recommended by the manufacturer for each type of material was fired to the core. After firing, the specimens were subjected to shear force in a universal testing machine. Load was applied at a crosshead speed of 0.50 mm/min until failure. Average shear strengths (mega pascal) were analyzed with a one-way analysis of variance and the Tukey test (${\alpha}$=0.05). The mean shear bond strength${\pm}$SD in MPa was $44.79{\pm}2.31$ in the Ni-Cr alloy group, $28.32{\pm}4.41$ in the Y-TZP group, $15.91{\pm}1.39$ in the Lithium disilicate group. The ANOVA showed a significant difference among groups (p<0.05). None of the all-ceramic system core and veneering ceramics could attain the high bond strength values of the metal ceramic combination.
The purposes of this study were to evaluate the microtensile bond strength of one-step adhesives accord ing to various dentin surface treatments and to observe the interface between resin(Z-100$^{TM}$) and dentin under SEM. In this study forty-five non-caries extracted human molars and three adhesive systems were used ; AlI-Bond 2(AB), One-Up Bond F(OU), AQ-Bond(AQ). ; In Group 1, 2, 3, AB was used and tooth surfaces were treated by smearing(S), ultrasonic cleansing(US), etching(E) respectively. In Group 4. 5, 6, One-Up Bond F was used and tooth surfaces were also treated as the same way above. In Groups 7, 8, 9, AQ Bond was used and tooth surfaces wet$.$e treated as the same way. Each specimen was prepared for microtensile bond testing, and were stored for 24hrs in 37$^{\circ}C$ distilled water. After that, microtensile bond strength for each specimen was measured. Specimens were fabricated to examine the failure patterns of interface between resin and dentin and observed under the SEM. The results were as follows ; 1. The results(mean$\pm$SD) of microtensile test were group 1, 25.69$\pm$4.31MPa; group 2, 40.93$\pm$10.94MPa; group 3, 47.65$\pm$8.85MPa; group 4, 35.98$\pm$9.14MPa; group 5, 39.66$\pm$8.45MPa; group 6, 43.26$\pm$13.01MPa; group 7, 25.07$\pm$4.2MPa;group 8, 30.4$\pm$4.74MPa;group 9, 33.61$\pm$7.88MPa. 2. One-Up Bond F was showed the highest value of 36.98$\pm$9.14MPa in dentin surface treatment with smearing, and there were significant differences to the other groups (p<0.05). 3. All-Bond 2 was showed the highest value of 40.93$\pm$10.94MPa in dentin surface treatment with ultra-sonic cleansing, but was no significant difference to One-Up Bond F(p>0.05) 4. All-Bond 2 was showed the highest value of 47.65$\pm$8.85MPa in dentin surface treatment with etch ing(10%phosphoric acid), and there were significant differences to the other groups(p<0.05). 5. All-Bond 2 was showed the highest value of 47.65$\pm$8.85MPa in dentin surface treatment according to manufacture's directions. but was no significant difference to One-Up Bond F(p>0.05). 6. AQ Bond was skewed the lowest microtensile bond strength with various dentin surface treatment, and the were significant differences to the other groups(p<0.05).
