SNS 데이터를 이용한 공공시설 매력도지수에 따른 접근성 분석기법 (Accessibility Analysis Method based on Public Facility Attraction Index Using SNS Data)

  • 본 연구는 공공시설의 질적인 측면의 확대를 위해 SNS (Social Network Service) 데이터를 활용하여 이용자 중심의 공공시설 선호요인을 도출하고, 이를 공급측면과 수요측면에서 정량화시키는 방법을 제안하였다. 선호요인 도출을 위해 토픽모델링 중 하나인 LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation)를 활용하였으며, 공급요인인 개별시설별로 매력도지수를 산출하였다. 또한 수요자 입장에서 서비스체감 정도를 측정하기 위해 공간접근성을 분석하였는데, 2SFCA (2-Step Floating Catchment Area) 방법을 활용하여 앞서 제안한 공공시설 매력도지수를 적용할 수 있도록 하였다. 실험은 서울시 공공도서관을 대상으로 진행하였다. 연구결과 공공도서관에 대한 선호요인으로 주변 환경, 시설 및 이용규모, 문화 프로그램, 육아, 장서 및 자료현황의 5가지 주제가 추출되었으며, 주변 환경이나 육아관련 주제는 새롭게 도출된 선호요인으로 선행연구와 차별성이 있다. 각 도서관별로 매력도지수를 산출한 결과 송파도서관, 정독도서관, 남산도서관의 매력도지수가 높게 나타났으며, 송파도서관은 육아요인에서 정독도서관과 남산도서관은 주변 환경요인에서 좋은 평가를 받고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 각 동별 공간접근성은 공공도서관이 많이 몰려있는 서울 중심부의 접근성이 좋은 편이며, 외곽지역으로 갈수록 줄어드는 것으로 보였다. 본 연구에 제안한 기법을 통해 이용자 중심의 공공시설 평가 및 정책의사 결정에 도움을 줄 것으로 기대한다.

공간관리 현황조사를 통한 대학시설관리방안에 관한 연구 - 국립대학의 사례를 중심으로 (A Study on the Facility Management Method through Actual Condition of Space Management - Based on the National University)

  • To enhance the administrational efficiency and for university facility and space management to be public, this research suggests a competent and an objective evaluation system and index. The study will assist national and university finances to contribute towards advanced education. Furthermore, figure out the space management condition of national university by utilizing the evaluation system, and through that suggesting efficient special management method. According to the result of this study, evaluation system for university facility can be widely divided into seven categories; system preparation, members conference, propriety of space allocation, propriety of management system, space use ratio, time control of space use, imposition index of surplus use. Based on these subdivisions, the space management category contains 19 evaluation items and the marking system allows perfect score of 100 points. In result of examining space management condition using the evaluation system, space management was well enforced in research focused university group where as in education centered university group, it shows relatively low enforcement. It also illustrated that efforts of evaluation items were required in categories of imposition index of surplus use and special use ratio in order for efficient space management.

A Comparative Performance Study for Compute Node Sharing

  • We introduce a methodology for the study of the application-level performance of time-sharing parallel jobs on a set of compute nodes in high performance clusters and report our findings. We assume that parallel jobs arriving at a cluster need to share a set of nodes with the jobs of other users, in that they must compete for processor time in a time-sharing manner and other limited resources such as memory and I/O in a space-sharing manner. Under the assumption, we developed a methodology to simulate job arrivals to a set of compute nodes, and gather and process performance data to calculate the percentage slowdown of parallel jobs. Our goal through this study is to identify a better combination of jobs that minimize performance degradations due to resource sharing and contention. Through our experiments, we found a couple of interesting behaviors for overlapped parallel jobs, which may be used to suggest alternative job allocation schemes aiming to reduce slowdowns that will inevitably result due to resource sharing on a high performance computing cluster. We suggest three job allocation strategies based on our empirical results and propose further studies of the results using a supercomputing facility at the San Diego Supercomputing Center.

  • People are living longer than ever before. As a result, life expectancy is going up and the demand of long-term care facilities is increasing in most countries. The facilities provide rehabilitative, restorative, and skilled nursing care to patients or residents in need of assistance with activities of daily living. This study deals with the capacitated location and allocation problem of long-term care facilities in a city that consists of a finite number of regions. Assuming that in each region candidate locations for three types of facilities are already given, two integer programming models are developed under the closest assignment rule reflecting the demand characteristics of the facilities. Both the location and type of the facilities to be built become decision variables. To show the validity of the models, numerical problems are solved with commercial software, CPLEX. Also, sensitivity studies were conducted to identify relationships between the system parameters.

  • The paper presents an implementation procedure of assembly line for ABS motor, which is composed of four subassemblies-yoke, grommet, housing and armature. The characteristics of ABS motor and its assembly processes are analysed, and the automation possibility of each process is examined in order to decrease assembly time. The assembly machines and facilities are then selected for automatic assembly, and the layout of the selected facilities is determined. Finally, task allocation of each worker is achieved by assembly line balancing to increase assembly productivity and efficiency. The line efficiency is also analyzed using simulation.

  • In the telecommunication industry, estimation of the cost of network facilities is very important since depreciation cost of the facilities accounts for a large portion of the product cost. Moreover, cost estimation in the industry becomes more difficult because of increasing indirect cost upon digital convergence, expanding multi-purpose facilities, complexity of service product, etc. Nevertheless, not much seem to have been done in improving estimation methodology of the cost of network facilities. As a result, the quality of cost information on network facilities has deteriorated, and now even decision-makers in the industry dismiss the information. Recently, two major telecommunication companies adopted a new network cost estimation method to deal with the issue. In this paper, we study the concept of new cost estimation method and the procedure to develop and apply it. We also suggest the method to carry out the cost allocation using Matlab which is more efficient and time-saving than other commercial cost calculation packages.

  • The purpose of this study is to present the research data to improve the quality of triangular ward in general hospital in Korea. Drawing documents analysis were used to examine the condition of ward. This study in focused on patient room and atrium according to connection type of triangular ward, allocation of NS, module and direction of patient room. The results of this study is as follows; Triangular ward has two joint pattern(conner and conner, side and side). Conner and conner joint pattern is good at planning of lighting than side and side joint pattern. Triangular ward can has different module system in each side. Allocation of NS is important factor which is focused on patient relationship or ward control.

  • The current Air defense missile, Nike, will be replaced by the Patriot missile in the near future. In this paper, we developed an optimal allocation model for the Patriot missile. In order to formulate the model, we applied a set covering and If model. This model considers not only weapon's characteristics and performances but also the threat of enemy aircrafts and SCUD missiles. When we apply this model, we can find the optimal location of Patriot batteries which maximizes the kill probability of enemy aircrafts and SCUD missiles attacking vital area of our forces. This model can directly be used to the decision making for the optimal military facility allocation.

  • 본 연구에서는 양육지원 정책과 출산율과의 관계를 분석하기 위해 OECD 33개국의 출산율을 종속변수로 현금지원 정책, 보육시설서비스 정책, 조세혜택 정책을 독립변수로 구조방정식을 실시하였다. 연구결과 출산율에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 정책은 보육시설서비스 정책으로 나타났다. 정책비용에 따른 효과를 다시 한 번 비교해 보았을 때 현금지원 정책은 지원 비용에 따라 효과의 증감이 일관되게 나타났으나 보육시설서비스 정책은 지원비용에 따라 일관된 증감이 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 연구 결과는 현금지원 정책의 효과성을 높이기 위해서는 부모의 양육부담 완화를 위한 적정 비용의 산정과 재정의 재분배 그리고 지원방법과 시기에 대한 지속적인 논의가 이루어져야하고, 보육시설서비스 정책의 효과성을 높이기 위해서는 일과 가정의 양립을 가능하게 하는 다양하고 포괄적인 질적 보육시설서비스 정책이 지속적으로 시행되어져야 한다는 것을 시사한다.

  • In recent deregulation and competitive power market environment, electric utilities plan and operate their systems for economic benefit with secure system condition. Therefore, implementation of Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) devices can be planned for the efficient utilization of the present system facility.
