Adaptive Particle Filter Design for Radome Aberration Error Compensation (레이돔 굴절 오차 보상을 위한 적응 파티클 필터 설계)

  • Radome aberration error causes degradation of miss distance as well as stability of high maneuver missile system with RF seeker. A study about radome compensation method is important in this kind of missile system design. Several kinds of methods showed good compensation performance in their paper. Proposed adaptive Particle filter estimates line of sight rate excluding the radome induced error. This paper shows effectiveness of adaptive Particle filter as compensation method of radome aberration error. Robust performance of this filter depends on external aiding measurement, target acceleration. Tuning of system error covariance can make this filter unsensitive against the error of target acceleration information. This paper demonstrates practical usage of adaptive Particle filter for reducing miss distance and increasing stability against disturbance of radome aberration error through performance analysis.

  • Objective : The objective of this study is to observe the effect of anti-inflammatory herbal acupuncture, acupuncture, physical theraphy, external treatment, therapeutic exercise on the osteochondritis dissecans. Methods : Anti-inflammatory herbal acupuncture and acupuncture were used to treat knee pain and gait disturbance. We evaluated the patient through VAS(visual analogue scale) daily and symptoms. Results & Conclusions : After 31 days of treatment, right knee pain was decreased from VAS 10 to VAS 4, redness, burning sensation, edemaright of right knee were decreased. And the patient could walk. Oriental medicine treatment is proved to be helpful to imporve the symptoms of the osteochondritis dissecans.

Robust Observer for Nonlinear Systems with Delayed Output (지연된 출력을 갖는 비선형 시스템의 강인 관측기)

  • This paper proposes the robust observer design for nonlinear systems with delayed output and external disturbance. It is shown that by considering a nonlinear term of error dynamics as an additional state variable, the nonlinear error dynamics with time delay can be transformed into the linear one with time delay. Sufficient conditions for existence of a robust observer are characterized by linear matrix inequalities. Finally, an illustrative example is given in order to show the effectiveness of our design method.

  • This paper is concerned with the active vibration control of elevator by means of the active roller guide. To this end, a dynamic model for the horizontal vibration of the elevator consisting of a supporting frame, cage and active roller guides was derived using the energy method. Free vibration analysis was then carried out based on the equations of motion. Active vibration controller was designed based on the equations of motion using the LQR theory and applied to the numerical model. Rail irregularity and wind pressure variation were considered as external disturbance in the numerical simulations. The numerical results show that the active vibration control of elevator is possible.

  • The application of a sliding mode control for improving the dynamic response of an induction motor based speed control system is presented in this paper and provides attractive features, such as fast response, good transient performance, and insensitivity to variations in plant parameters and external disturbance. However, chattering is a difficult problem for which the sliding mode control is a popular solution. This paper presents a new fuzzy-sliding mode controller for a sensorless vector-controlled induction motor servo system to practically eliminate the chattering problem for traction applications. A DSP based implementation of the speed control system is employed. Experimental results are presented using a propulsion system simulator. The performance of the drive is shown to be practically free from chattering.

  • A robust controller design methodology is proposed, where the proposed controller consists of a servo controller at the outer loop as well as the robust internal-loop compensator (RIC) to eliminate the model uncertainty and external disturbance. It is shown that RIC is general structure of DOB and ARC. Numerical example is illustrated to show validities of the proposed robust controller.

  • This paper presents an Fuzzy-Neuro Observer system for an ac servo motor dirve to track periodic commands using a neuro-fuzzy observer. AC servo motor drive system is rather similar to a linear system. However, the uncertainties, such as machanical parametric variation, external disturbance, uncertainty due to nonideal in transient state. therefore an intelligent control system that isan on-line trained neural network controller with adaptive learning rates.

  • In this paper the speed control of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) is presented using sliding mode control. Recently in the control of the motor, various modern control theories are used. Sliding mode control is one of these, which has been spotlighted in the area of the motor drive. By using sliding mode control as the speed controller of IPMSM, the superior performances, which are the fast dynamic responce without overshoot the robustness to the external load disturbance and the alleviation of the chattering, are attained.

  • This paper proposes a nonlinear adaptive controller based on back-stepping method for tracking reference substrate concentration by manipulating dilution rate in a continuous baker´s yeast cultivating process in stirred tank bioreactor. Control law is obtained from Lyapunov control function to ensure asymptotical stability of the system. The Haldane model for the specific growth rate depending on only substrate concentration is used in this paper. Due to the uncertainty of specific growth rate, it has been modified as a function including the unknown parameter with known bounded values. The substrate concentration in the bioreactor and feed line are measured.   • In this paper, we study design of a ILQ(Inverse Linear Quadratic optimal control) looper control system for hot strip mills. The looper which is placed between stands plays an important role in controlling strip width by regulating strip tension variation generated from the velocity difference of main work rolls. A Looper servo controller is designed by ILQ control theory which is an inverse problem of LQ(Linear Quadratic optimal control) control. The mathematical model for looper system is obtained by Taylor´s linearization of nonlinear differential equations. Then we designed linear controller for linearization model by using the ILQ control algorithm. Thereafter this controller is applied to the nonlinear model for model identification. As a result, we show the controller´s robustness for the model error, external disturbance and sensor noise.
