An artist, Oh Yun(1946~86)'s theory of people's art during his final period is summed up in his essay 'Expansion of Artistic Imagination and World' (1985). Emphasizing the mystic and traditional characteristics of Oh Yun's artistic oeuvre during his final period, some critics focus on Oh Yun's experience of medical treatment and shamanistic custom at Jin Do island, and his belief in Jeung San Do, the dao of Jeung-san, the Ruler of the Universe. However, they forget the practical intention and implication of his theory of art during his final period, which aimed to overcome the contradiction of revelation itself. Oh Yun's essay criticized the loss of artistic imagination and the ignorance of traditional culture that resulted from the elevation of science to a religion, and insisted that the stereotyped idealism, scientism and elitism in art should be overcome in order to recover the full reality in realism and to continue traditional cultures. The essay is comprised of 18 paragraphs. Oh Yun criticized monochromatic art, conceptual art, hyper-realistic art, objet d'art, and neo-dadaist art, saying that they were simply mechanical forms of modern art derived from scientism and a fetishistic lens culture. In addition, he criticized naturalism in art, which had continued as a tendency in the development of western art, for the same reason. He pointed out that even the world of realism had been diminished by elite stereotypes and diagrams. He declared the need to overcome the imitation of shells or stereotyped propaganda, and recover full realism, which seems to have started with a reflective examination of current problems in 'Reality and Utterance', in which he participated. Especially, he thought that universality and the extension of full realism could be achieved by building on the views of traditional cultures, which is meaningful. This logic is same as the theory of epic theatre that Bertolt Brecht(1898~1956) has developed under the ancient Greek masque and Pieter Bruegel the Elder(1525~69)'s story-like picture style. The universality of realism and the extension of acquisition to include incantation art, rather than move toward incantation art, is what Oh Yun intended to propose in 'Artistic Imagination'. This attitude is same as Bertoh Brecht's aesthetic viewpoint in the 1930s. But regrettably, Oh Yun's style wording, which seems covert and far-sighted, is often misunderstood as 'mysticism'. In the flow of people's art in the 1980s, Oh Yun was a traditionalist in a narrow sense, and an realist in a broad sense. However, his critical mind, which comprehends tradition and reality, was attempting to expand universality and extend full realism, and this attempt found many sympathizers and had an influence on the next generation of people's artists, such as "Levee" which is field-centered, to which we should pay attention. This means that while their works thought about 'tradition', we should be careful not to connect them with 'aesthetic conservatism' or 'classical art'. This is the why the meaning of Oh Yun's theory of art during his final period should be closely examined again.

Private forestland in Korea occupies about 48 percent of the total land area. But, the ownership size is too small to expect self-supporting management of forestowners. In order to improve individual management of the small-sized forest through the to the state of self-support, a cooperative forest management has been demanded, enlargement of the size of the management units by combining the different individual management units. The cooperative management of the private forest is to combine forestry production factors such as forestland, labor-power, and capitals according to the agreement. For the cooperative forest management, a proper plan should be established and well-trained working-crew should be produced. In addition, forestry facilities should be provided and operated jointly. Though the cooperative forest management by owners is considered to be favorable theoretically, it is difficult for forestowners including many nonresidents to organize the forest management cooperatives without outside help. Therefore, intensive pulblication and extension programmes are required and a financial support by the government should be followed.

The failure of network and/or node on which server object is executed is a single point of system failure in the CORBA application. One of the possible ways to overcome such problem is to replicate server objects to several independent nodes. The replicated objects executing same tasks are called object group. In order to provide fault tolerance of server object, this paper proposes and implements new CORBA model that supports the object group based on active replication. The proposed model not only provides interoperability with existing CORBA application but also minimizes additional application interface required to support object group because it uses nop to exchange messages between client and server. And this paper extends IDL structure. Depending to application logic, it makes possible to prevent performance degradation caused by consistency maintenance. At present, this paper supports only active replication. But it can be easily extended to provide warm ancVor cold passive replication without modification of architecture required for active replication.

The Quantum-dot Cellular Automata (QCA) can be considered as a candidate for the next generation digital logic implementation technology due to their small feature sizes and ultra low power consumption. Up to now, several designs using Uh technology have been proposed. However, we found not all of the designs function properly. Furthermore, no general design guidelines have been proposed so far. A straightforward extension of a simple functional design pattern may fail. This makes designing a large scale circuits using QCA technology an extremely time-consuming process. In this paper, we show several critical vulnerabilities related to unbalanced input paths to QCA gates and sneak noise paths in QCA interconnect structures. In order to make up the vulnerabilities, a disciplinary guideline will be proposed. Also, we present a fast adder which has been designed by the discipline, and verified to be functional by the simulation.

OWL(Web Ontology Language) is the Ontology Standard Language and the a lot of Ontologies are being constructed in OWL. But the research on the extension of OWL is also progressing because of the limit of representation power of in OWL language. The W3C suggests the SWRL(Semantic Web Rule Language) based on the combination of OWL and RuleML(Rule Markup Language), which is improved in the representation of rule. Thus, both OWL and SWRL are used for developing ontologies. However, research on inference of ontologies written in both languages is just begun. These day, for the inference of ontologies written in both languages, ontologies and divided in to two parts. The part written in OWL and written in SWRL. For the inference of the part written in OWL, Racer, a DL based inference engine, is used and for the other part Jess, a rule-based engine, is used. In this paper, we will propose three methods for integrated inference of the OWL part and the SWRL part of ontologies using Jess and some tools for ontology inference : OWLJessKB and SWRL Factory

Many companies have endeavored to build a quality cost management system in order to be more productive business organization. This study shows the detail procedures of constructing a quality cost management system which is believed to be appropriate for their business system. That is, the method to calculate the quality cost and the linking logic between the quality improvement and its financial impact are explained based on a particular industry case. In this sense, the changes of business performance measures such as market share, customer satisfaction, etc. were analyzed in the longitudinal perspective for the consecutive 4 years (2003~2006). As the quantitative results of this study, the improvement activities based on the quality cost management system resulted in the 32% reduction of quality cost and the 121% increase of business profit, compared 2005 with 2006. In the qualitative perspective, the successive practice of quality cost reduction and the job information sharing in business unit were obtained by providing the best practices and bench-marking cases. Finally, the customer satisfaction has increased so that the customer-friendly management system has been accomplished. With these efforts, the 3.4% increase of the market share and the 3% increase of the customer satisfaction were obtained in 2005. As the future study, the current study can be extended to the concept of COPQ (cost of poor quality) which focuses on the hidden quality cost of the whole business activities. Such extension of analysis will help us understand the wider role of a quality cost management system in the business.

As the risk of privacy invasion due to self-disclosure increases in SNS environment, many studies have tried to discover the influencing factors of self-disclosure. This study is an extension of this research stream and pays attention to the role of interaction privacy controls(friend list and privacy settings) as a new influencing factor. Specifically, the study theorizes and test the logic that the ability to effectively control interactions between individuals using IPC(called IPC usefulness) satisfies the three psychological needs(autonomy, relationship, and competency needs) suggested by the Self-Determination Theory, and in turn increase the amount of self-disclosure. As a result of data analysis, it was found that IPC usefulness has a very strong influence on the satisfaction of psychological needs and is a major factor in increasing the degree of self-disclosure by users. Based on these findings, the study discusses the theoretical and practical implications as well as future research directions.

The three means of listening, reflection and meditation (${\acute{s}}raava{\d{n}}a$, manana and $nididhy{\bar{a}}sana$) which are central devices of practice in $Ved{\bar{a}}nta$ philosophy should be understood not as a continuative step but as a methodological extension on condition of having one and the same purpose. In other words, the three means should be interpreted in a listening-oriented manner, in which the process has to be methodologically extended to reflection and meditation only when the direct knowledge on the reality is not gained in listening. This kind of interpretation can be more justified by displaying significant characteristics of Indian philosophy implied in the three means. It can be easily said that $Ved{\bar{a}}nta$ belonging to the liberation-centric tradition is a project of 'regaining essential self' through which the self becomes essential self by knowing that self. In this case the listening-oriented interpretation coincides with the basic teachings of $Ved{\bar{a}}nta$, since listening alone can be a sufficient means for obtaining knowledge of the original self. Further, as the project of 'regaining essential self' is carried out by the three means, these can be called a sort of 'event' that is carried out according to the scenario of $Ved{\bar{a}}ntic$ metaphysics. In this case listening is a course of comprehending the scenario of event participated by oneself, and that participant can accomplish the project by way of listening the scenario alone judged as somewhat more effective for liberation. However, in the later $Ved{\bar{a}}nta$ there arises a meditation-oriented interpretation of which three means are regarded not as a methodological extension but as a continuative step, because of the emphasis on meditation under the lasting influence of other philosophical systems. This is a result of epistemic desire that tries to convert what is heard to what is specially perceived or what is given to what is accepted. It may be said that this interpretation emphasizing the phased transition from the indirect to the direct of knowledge is an attempt to rationalize the repetitive delay of event as the actual failure of project. Furthermore, an assertion of the later $Ved{\bar{a}}nta$ which refers the fourth means called $sam{\bar{a}}dhi$ is based on the logic that the self-realization is possible apart from and outside the text, and accordingly it is incompatible with an assertion of the early $Ved{\bar{a}}nta$ that the self-realization is a reproduction as it is of the scenario guided by the absolute text. After all, the standard interpretation on the three means in $Ved{\bar{a}}nta$ have to be the listening-oriented, but not be the meditation-oriented or the $sam{\bar{a}}dhi$-oriented.

The demand for flexible electronic systems such as wearable computers, E-paper, and flexible displays has increased due to their advantages of excellent portability, conformal contact with curved surfaces, light weight, and human friendly interfaces over present rigid electronic systems. This seminar introduces three recent progresses that can extend the application of high performance flexible inorganic electronics. The first part of this seminar will introduce a RRAM with a one transistor-one memristor (1T-1M) arrays on flexible substrates. Flexible memory is an essential part of electronics for data processing, storage, and radio frequency (RF) communication and thus a key element to realize such flexible electronic systems. Although several emerging memory technologies, including resistive switching memory, have been proposed, the cell-to-cell interference issue has to be overcome for flexible and high performance nonvolatile memory applications. The cell-to-cell interference between neighbouring memory cells occurs due to leakage current paths through adjacent low resistance state cells and induces not only unnecessary power consumption but also a misreading problem, a fatal obstacle in memory operation. To fabricate a fully functional flexible memory and prevent these unwanted effects, we integrated high performance flexible single crystal silicon transistors with an amorphous titanium oxide (a-TiO2) based memristor to control the logic state of memory. The $8{\times}8$ NOR type 1T-1M RRAM demonstrated the first random access memory operation on flexible substrates by controlling each memory unit cell independently. The second part of the seminar will discuss the flexible GaN LED on LCP substrates for implantable biosensor. Inorganic III-V light emitting diodes (LEDs) have superior characteristics, such as long-term stability, high efficiency, and strong brightness compared to conventional incandescent lamps and OLED. However, due to the brittle property of bulk inorganic semiconductor materials, III-V LED limits its applications in the field of high performance flexible electronics. This seminar introduces the first flexible and implantable GaN LED on plastic substrates that is transferred from bulk GaN on Si substrates. The superb properties of the flexible GaN thin film in terms of its wide band gap and high efficiency enable the dramatic extension of not only consumer electronic applications but also the biosensing scale. The flexible white LEDs are demonstrated for the feasibility of using a white light source for future flexible BLU devices. Finally a water-resist and a biocompatible PTFE-coated flexible LED biosensor can detect PSA at a detection limit of 1 ng/mL. These results show that the nitride-based flexible LED can be used as the future flexible display technology and a type of implantable LED biosensor for a therapy tool. The final part of this seminar will introduce a highly efficient and printable BaTiO3 thin film nanogenerator on plastic substrates. Energy harvesting technologies converting external biomechanical energy sources (such as heart beat, blood flow, muscle stretching and animal movements) into electrical energy is recently a highly demanding issue in the materials science community. Herein, we describe procedure suitable for generating and printing a lead-free microstructured BaTiO3 thin film nanogenerator on plastic substrates to overcome limitations appeared in conventional flexible ferroelectric devices. Flexible BaTiO3 thin film nanogenerator was fabricated and the piezoelectric properties and mechanically stability of ferroelectric devices were characterized. From the results, we demonstrate the highly efficient and stable performance of BaTiO3 thin film nanogenerator.

The industrialization and globalization in the field of broadcasting are rapidly proceeded by extension of multilateral agreement as GATT and WTO, and by expansion of bilateral FTA. The broadcasting gets important in the industries according to the change of broadcasting environment grounded on industrial logic. As the broadcasting products become an important article of trade, broadcasting industry is the best bet in the cultural industries. In the international trade, the USA and Japan will treat cultural products the same as common goods and keep in the frame of free trade. On the contrary, the EU nations and Canada take a position that the cultural products are common goods and also public goods at the same time, and that therefore the cultural products will be excepted from the free trade. But this so called cultural exception, which is formed in the multilateral free trade agreement, is merely a temporal countermeasure, not a fundamental alternative especially in the present circumstances of DDA negotiation of WTO and of enlargement of FTA by the USA. So a nation shall carry out policies for cultural identity and cultural autonomy by the guarantee of Cultural Diversity Agreement of UNESCO, and organize a new cultural exchange order which substitutes the trade order by trade agreements.
