Qi. in ancient east Asian Philosophy and medicine, was the quintessential concept symbolizing material orgin of the world. It was considered as the original matter of the world, and the genesis, development and extinction of everything in heaven and earth was explained through the movement of Qi. Despite its importance, the interpretation of Qi has brought about various bifurcations in the history of Oriental medicine. It is comprehended either as ideal concept, or as actual entity. Also, there exists synthetic idea of considering both sides of Qi. These ideas results from obscure understanding based on textual interpretation apart from actual experince. When experincing Qi through discipline, however, man can understand Qi concretly and actually and even grasp the explanation of the cosmos and life. One problem of Qi discipline was that it couldn't ascend the stage of subjective experience. Now, with the method of 'Hanalmomjit'. a developed form of zifadonggong(自發動功), I could reach coherent results to offer the foundation of objective understanding of Qi. The testees, disciples of Hanalmomjit, could express the characters of herbs in their Qigong actions, and the expression was meaningful and coherent to be considered as expressing the effects described in the classics of herbalogy. This result comes from the capacity of grasping external Qi-status, not only expressing the internal communication of jingluo(經絡) in Hanalmomjit.

Kidult trend has continued to influence diverse areas such as fashion, advertisement, interior, cosmetics, and so on in the modern age. As combined word of kid and adult, a Kidult is an adult who participates in youth culture and activities traditionally intended for children. This study intends to check out how the phenomenon of Kidult trend is exhibited in fashion area as well as to develop fashion design for kidult inspired by the images shown in an amusement park. The method of study is two-fold. One is a critical review of previous literature and the other is a development of fashion design based on it. The literature study is referred to books of fashion, books of trend and data collected through internet, and design results are presented using mainly quilting and knitting techniques. The results are as follows. Firstly, a kidult fashion was expressed playful and interesting by the sensibilities of kidults that hope to return to the innocence of childhood reminiscing about the good old days. Secondly, a characteristic of the fashion design for kidults is to display the innovative and diverse design with exaggerated expression and a broad spectrum of colors. One's own unique style can be developed through memories and fantasies from fairy tales in childhood. Thirdly, themes of amusement parks were an appropriate means to show the characteristics of the kidults. A variety of characters and buildings and shapes of the rides in the amusement parks were useful for the design motive targeting for the customers with the kidult characteristics and images of fashion and accessories design. Fourthly, inspired by the amusement parks, the work in this research has presented the new kidult styles designed as various forms combining inner feelings that seek distinctive and unique styles and amusement features.

The image information, used most frequently in multimedia, is visual and spatial information. It has several characters including the diversity of storage and output methods, large capacity, spatial relationship expression, and irregularity. Therefore, the various researches for methods of storing efficiently, managing, searching such image data are going on. And recently, it has arisen the movement of international standardization, MPEG-7 for searching contents base in multimedia environment. Especially, the research for implementation of more effective image database searching system important subject, because the practical image search system which can storage a lot of image information as database and query, search them has not generalized. Now the image search system based on text has researched to high degree, but it has many shortages so that nowadays the researches for searching system based on contents are going on. This research has used the wavelet conversion largely using in image processing instead of DCT method largely using in existent system, and so it had met similar and precise results than prior methods by image compression and extraction of specific vector.

The contents of this study are as follows. First, an academic understanding has been achieved by exploring the theoretical concept "allegory", and a new theoretical approached methodology has been sought. Second, an analysis-index of fashion illustration cases has been suggested based on the allegory theory of Craig Owens. Third, in order to draw the characteristics of fashion illustration as viewed from the allegorical viewpoint and find out its feasibility, the case studies has been referred and the internal significance, external significance that combines different characteristics has been extracted. In regards to this study method, literature studies and case studies has been done in parallel with each other. This study was done in the following sequence: the establishment of the study system, the drawing of the allegory-associated concepts and the discovering the characteristics of aesthetic expressions. The results of this study on the expression characteristics of fashion illustration as viewed from the allegorical viewpoint of Craig Owens are as follows. First, the borrowing of image, which is a characteristic of allegory, contains the meaning of uncertainty in the fashion illustration as it expresses the image-synthesis and forms a completely different meaning as the fixed meaning is dissolved and it is utilized as a photo-montage technique. Second, the inference of pictogram is the mixture of linguistic medium and visual medium. Fashion illustration utilizes the characters and transmits the fashion information visually and immanently. It has the characteristic of making the information into pictograms and the internal significances of mutual-text with communication function. Third, the uniqueness of location in the fashion illustration has the special nature of utilized mediums as it is used for advertising or publicizing. The fashion illustration from the viewpoint of allegory has the impermanency of existing only for a limited time and reflects the coincidence that gives the meaning of utilized location according to the season trend. Fourth, the cross-breeding is expressed as the mixture of various materials in the fashion illustration. The expressions made by the mixture of media, such as the use of computer graphic programs mixed together with various materials showed the trend of diversity and genre dissolution.

Sex steroid hormones are key molecules to prepare the decidual response and their levels are important in this process. Imbalances of the levels of steroid hormones are cause of implantation failure and other diseases including physical weakness. Androgen replacement therapy or selective androgen receptor modulator are used to overcome various diseases but long-term use may cause of side effects. In previous report, it is suggested that the steroid hormonal complexes derived from pig enhance the proliferation of satellite cell. Therefore, to evaluate the possible usage of steroid hormonal complex derived from pig testis (tS-C), the effects of tS-C on uterine response were studied using the model of artificial decidua. tS-C did not disturb the rhythmical estrus cycle. Artificial-induced decidual response was normally induced in tS-C administered mice. The histological characters of the decidua of tS-C administered mice were not different from the vehicle. The expression patterns of molecular markers of decidua were not different between vehicle and tS-C group. Collectively these results suggested that tS-C does not disturb the uterine responsibility to the embryo. In addition, our results suggested that tS-C can be applied to overcome the various problems such as loss of muscle mass and anemia.

The purpose of this study was illumination of the stage costume by applying the study of a subject of human expression, which establishes identity of dramatic characters. This study was conducted by referring a variety of theses, an extensive national and international literature. The color symbolism that is depicted in Shakespeare‘s work manifests the transition period of old days, which was influenced by the Renaissance and the Religious Reformation. And color preferences and the meanings I attach to them in his play, definitely reveal the Middle Ages Christian way of thinking which was obsessively dominated their mind. I also determine that the color preferences and use in Elizabeth Era also distinctively separate the social status, which were also influenced by its social conditions. Besides this, colors that were depicted in Shakespeare's work also shown many similarities from Italian Commedia dell‘arte, which were in vogue all over the Europe. Customary color symbolisms which from natural color experiences were also applied in "The Tempest". "The Tempest" was presented on the first day of November in 1611 for the first time. Following this, many plays and films have been produced in foreign countries and Korea. With an analysis of "The Tempest", costume designs for Miranda and Ferdinanad were illustrated at the end. The costumes for Miranda and Ferdinand were mainly considered to express pure love and vigorous youth of two lovers, symbolizing the image of the theme love, forgiveness, and reconciliation.

The mushroom takes in charge of decomposer in ecosystem and its production is important indicator for sounded ecosystem function. To determine standing crop of basidiocarps(fruit body of mushroom), a weight must be measured by harvesting mushroom individual in the field. But this method has profound affection on the basidiocarps population or its surrounding condition due to habitat destruction. Thus, in this study, without harvesting any mushroom in the field, we developed allometric equation using some morphological parameters to estimate standing crop biomass of basidiocarps. Lentinula edodes, Pleurotus ostreatus, Flammulina velutipes and Conocybe tenera were used for allometry. Morphological variables of the mushroom were pileus diameter, pileus area, stipe length and stipe thickness. Consequently, all the experimental mushrooms species showed significantly correlation in biomass estimation of basidiocarps from allometric equation (p<0.05). As a result of this research, the standing biomass of the basidiocarps could be indirectly estimated with proportional expression, allometric equation drived from morphological characters.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the underwear design shown in historical dramas set in Europe between the $16^{th}$ and the $18^{th}$ century, woman's bodies were highly restricted, in order to analyze the symbolism of the movie costume and provide basic data for the future education of the department of movie costume design. For a study method, literature relating to movie costumes and underwear as well as captured images from 29 historical dramas set in Europe between the $16^{th}$ and the $18^{th}$ century was reviewed. Among them, data from 17 movies where underwear and crinoline were observed was analyzed. Historical movies, set in the $18^{th}$ century Europe exposed underwear more frequently and decisively than movies set in the $16^{th}$ and $17^{th}$ centuries. For the figure wearing underwear, its expression effect was maximized by the implication function of costumes. Underwear can easily express the time and space background and symbolize the character's social and economic position, attitudes, and values. In addition, the exposure of underwear can reveal characters' internal expressions, such as mental status, taste, temper, intention, mood, time and space display. The result of observing the underwear shown in movies reveals that underwear plays a subjective role in expressing ideal femininity as a woman of a particular age, modesty, social position symbolism and eroticism that depended on the situation. It is expected that the study will provide an opportunity to reconsider the function of underwear, which is different from the meaning of costume history, and its role as a means of communication by considering the change of underwear by age.

In order to investigate the virulence of Y. enterocolitica isolated in Korea, all necessary experiments were done including several virulence determinating tests-autoagglutination test, calcium-dependency test, HeLa cell invasion test, Sereny test, crystal violet binding test, and electrophoresis for plasmid pattern. The obtained results are as follows: The virulent strains of Y. enterocolitica revealed positive reactions on autoagglutination test, cacium-dependency test, and drystal violet binding test, while the avirulent strains did not. A positive reaction was observed only at $37^{\circ}C$ implying that the expression of virulence is temperature-dependent. In Sereny test, the standard reference virulent strain (serotype 0:8) showed positive reactions while the virylent experimental strains (serotype 1:3, 0:9) revealed negative results, which indicates that the virulence of Y. enterocolitica in experimental animals varied according to their serotypes. Most of the virulent strains contained 36-38Mdal plasmids, but the avirulent strains did not. In addition, it was noted that autoagglutination, calcium-dependency, and crystal violet binding were related to the presence of plasmids.

Today, the integration of the rapid development of ICT and the smart devices moves our lives quickly into an online community environment through not only quick and easy information search but also various social media. Accordingly, individual activities in the smart media environment are pouring out vast quantities of data in many fields, accumulating a tremendous amount of data. The everyday data of individuals is reproducing different values from the previous ones, while suggesting new customized services that utilize them in various fields. Recently, big data utilization has attracted a great attention in the field of healthcare. Especially, development of healthcare service linked with mobile is expected to bring a new paradigm in this field. In this study, creation of a 3D avatar character model as a means to transfer information to individuals more efficiently is proposed in the development of mobile customized service for health promotion and growth prediction of children and adolescents, at the same time, an effective visual expression method to have a sense of immersion and unity is searched.
