This research pertains to the interpretation of the many characteristics of the growing process of Library and Information Science in Korea with respect to its connection with discussion of the system of discipline. The result of the research are as follows. The Library and Information Science in Korea has gone through three distinct stages. The first stage spans the period from the late 50s to the 1960s during which three was an attempt to establish a relatively independent system of scholarship of Library and Information Science, although it was still heavily reliant on scholarship from Japan and the United States. The main characteristics of this first period is, firstly, that there a n.0, ppeared, for the first time, an awareness of a need to escape the attitude of foreign-orientation and to develop our own scholarship. Secondly, an effort was made to constitute the scholarship as a science (social science). Thirdly, there began a faint effort to import and a n.0, pply Information Science. The second stage covers the period between the 70s and the 80s, and saw the induction of Information Science begin in earnest and become the subject of education and research. The period was also marked by exploration of an alternative term to "Library Science", which was at the time being used. In addition, the period was a time of confusion for the examination of scholarship due to the induction of the new field of Information Science to what had already been a fragile structure of scholarship. This phenomenon served to intensify the doubts which had surfaced about existing term of Library Science, and ultimately played a large role in the a n.0, ppearance of the new term of Library and Information Science. Of course, there were a number of reasons which had made the change of term difficult, but it and be seen that the term change began in earnest after the change was adopted in the names of the university departments associated with the field in the late 80s. The third stage covers the period after the begining of the 90s. This stage saw the prominence of criticism and self-examination of the existing distorted foundational structure of Library and Information Sciences in Korea at the time, and, at the same time, a new methodology or research paradigms were advocated. It was a presenation of a new way of achieving a "Korean Library and Information Science" in order to understand and overcome not only the problems within the Korean libraries, but also within Library and Information Science in Korea. This caused repercussions to be felt not only among academics, but also among those actually working within the library systems. It moved academics toward a more practical scholarship, it inspired the prominence of a new scholarly methodology called a reform in academic writing, and even influenced specific research activities.research activities.
This study examined the role of interpretation with various practices in art museums to seek a new meaning and a concept of art museum today. The exploration of interpretation would he a starting point to discuss about on art museums with professionals in each art-related field. While museums recognize the concept of interpretation and the scope of the functions in different levels, the study focused on the practices of collecting and exhibiting that will entrust the museum new realms of activities toward the audience. In particular, its emphases are set force on the information on the collections via the museum's web sites, interpretation policies, and theories and methodologies in exhibition development. Art museum websites well reflect how museums utilize the new medium to enhance the understanding of art works by providing in-depth art historical information, comprehensive contexts, and subject/concept based search methods. In recent decades, these have enacted changes to expand dimensions of interpretive functions in most museums, particularly in the United States and others. In an administrative perspective, Tate Gallery Interpretation Policy became an good example how an art museum put its interpretation philosophy as the basis of interpreting collection and public programs. Tate established functions of intrepretation and education not only within a task-based team but also as an intrer-divisional coorperation to provide an interpretation scheme of information provisions such as guide brochure, audio tour, multimedia content, and library. New environment and trends of museum exhibition, and its development processes stem from communication theories, object interpretation philosophy, display strategies, and various evaluation techniques through audiences, with the communication theories of Shannon and Weaver, Berlo's SMCR(Source-Message-Channel-Receiver) models were perceived as to understand the mechanism to communicate museum exhibits to visitors Suzan vogel's insight into object display strategy helped to conceive the mechanism of object recontextualization. She emphasized that the museum's practice to construe opinions and impressions through object display should be discreet and critical, therefore, the professionals to plan the exhibition should reveal the intention and their practices. For a prevailing new methodology from the field, the interpretive exhibition development processes are articulated as the front-end, formative, and summative evaluation, futhermore the team process in industrial product management models was adapted. These have turned out to be more interactive with visitors and effective to communicate the exhibition concepts and messages, hence resulting in enriched museum experiences. Finally the study concluded that understanding the aspects of interpretation should help art museums to set a framework for current practices to expand its public dimension. It can provide curators with a critical view to website planning and its content. And obviously, the interpretive exhibition development methodology will lead museum exhibition developers to be skilled in its current approaches to thematic exhibition concerning diverse subjects and topics.
The purpose of this study is to investigate about exploring diversity of methodology in security research focused on the current status and applications of qualitative inquiry. Expenses to take advantage of a variety of qualitative research techniques in the field is divided, and explore the possibility of applying the security research. Expenses compared to quantitative research, qualitative research on the utilization is very low, and to perform a qualitative study in-depth interviews focused on morphological aspects of research and a paucity of practical deep and lacks specificity. Purpose In the contemporary landscape, marked by the enduring impact of COVID-19 and the recent disruptions stemming from the conflict in Ukraine, the purpose of this study is to navigate the era characterized by pervasive risk and uncertainty. Specifically, the study aims to dissect the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on digital transformation, exploring the factors influencing this process and considering the multifaceted dynamics at play. The focus extends to the post-COVID-19 landscape, scrutinizing the implications and meanings of digital transformation both before and after the pandemic. Additionally, the study delves into future digital trends, with particular attention to climate and environmental issues, emphasizing corporate responsibilities in averting crises similar to COVID-19. The overarching goal is to provide a holistic perspective, shedding light on both positive and negative facets of digital transformation, and advocating for regulatory enhancements and legal frameworks conducive to a balanced and resilient digital future. Design/methodology/approach This study employs a comprehensive approach to analyze the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on digital transformation. It considers various facets, such as smart devices reshaping daily routines, transformative changes in corporate ecosystems, and the adaptation of government institutions to the digital era within the broader context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The analysis extends to the post-COVID-19 landscape, examining the implications and meanings of digital transformation. Future digital trends, especially those related to climate and environmental issues, are prognosticated. The methodology involves a proactive exploration of challenges associated with digital transformation, aiming to advocate for regulatory enhancements and legal frameworks that contribute to a balanced and resilient digital future. Findings The findings of this study reveal that the digital economy has gained momentum, accelerated by the proliferation of non-face-to-face industries in response to social distancing imperatives during the COVID-19 pandemic. Digital transformation, both preceding and succeeding the onset of the pandemic, has precipitated noteworthy shifts in various aspects of daily life. However, challenges persist, and the study highlights factors that either bolster or hinder the transformative process. In the post-COVID-19 era, corporate responsibilities in averting crises, particularly those resembling the pandemic, take center stage. The study emphasizes the need for a holistic perspective, acknowledging both positive and negative facets of digital transformation. Additionally, it calls for proactive measures, including regulatory enhancements and legal frameworks, to ensure a balanced and resilient digital future.
Technological change leads to a value shift in human society. Various cultural experiences through the digital paradigm influence the expression of fashion. This article considers fashion film as a new form for presenting fashion and explores the distinctiveness of expression in digital fashion film. For the methodology, a literature review was conducted to examine the concepts and features of digital fashion film and metareality. Empirical research was also performed by drawing from Nick Knight's digital films, "Sans Couture", "#asif", and "The Elegant Universe" and by specifically analyzing the classification of the themes, visuals, and auditory expression. The results are as follows. The proliferation of fashion film has accelerated in the internet environment. New media in the digital era allows images to become more realistic and variable through immaterial conversion. Metareality is the notion of a reality beyond existence. A metarealistic image maintains the metaphysical nature of an object and transcends empirical appearance. It possesses immaterial, transboundary, and multidimensional features, and the image is realized by digital technology. The expression analysis identifies the metareality expressed in contemporary fashion film appearing as atypical forms, irrational combinations, and the playfulness of motion. It shows a positive attitude, transcending the immaterial limit of reality toward fashion. This study indicates how fashion as products challenges the metaphysical transformation in the digital era. The exploration of metareality in digital fashion film promotes a wider perspective and understanding of the concept of fashion.
Landing phase is one of the crucial and most important phases during robotic aerospace explorations. It concerns the impact of the landing module of a spacecraft on a celestial body. Risks and uncertainties of landing are mainly due to the morphology of the surface, the possible presence of rocks and other obstacles or subsidence. The present work quotes results of a computational analysis direct to investigate the stability during the landing phase of a lander on Phobos, a Mars Moon. The present study makes use of available software tools for the simulation analyses and results processing. Due to the nature of the system under consideration (i.e., large displacements and interaction between several systems), multibody simulations were performed to analyze the lander's behavior after the impact with the celestial body. The landing scenario was chosen as a result of a DOE (Design of Experiments) analysis in terms of lander velocity and position, or ground slope. In order to verify the reliability of the present multibody methodology for this particular aerospace issue, two different software tools were employed in order to emphasize two different ways to simulate the crash-box, a particular component of the system used to cushion the impact. The results show the most important frames of the simulations so as to provide a general idea about how lander behaves in its descent and some trends of the main characteristics of the system. In conclusion, the success of the approach is demonstrated by highlighting that the results (crash-box shortening trend and lander's kinetic energy) are comparable between the two tools and that the stability is ensured.

In aspect of HCI(Human Computer Interaction) gameplay is the procedure to solve the problem that gamers encounter in order to generate or discover a new rule to achieve gamers' goal. The goal of this research is to investigate the structure and understand the gameplay in aspect of affordance from ecological psychology rather than the traditional problem solving theory. This research selects App. game based on smart phone. Expert gamers participated in this experiment. We record all gameplay using audio and video device. We conducted protocol analysis as qualitative method based on the verbal report and action protocol during game playing. As result, gameplay based on affordance includes selection and relation. We found that subjects selected one thing at once with attention. Moreover, we found that there were two behaviors : exploratory action and performatory action. We believe that exploration, action, and transformation for affordance appear. The result of this research imply to suggest design guideline for game design methodology when designers develop game.
Ubiquitous computing spans a very broad range of technologies and needs very complicated user's requirements. There are many scenarios and technologies involved in ubiquitous computing. We need new software development tools and methodology to meet the requirements. A software product line is one of promising new technology for it. A software product line is a set of software intensive systems that share a common, managed set of features satisfying the specific needs of a particular market segment or mission and that are developed from a common set of core assets. Software architecture-based development is the exploration and maturation of the role of software architecture in the product line life cycle. In this thesis, we identify the foundational concepts underlying software product lines and the essential activities to develop the mobile application systems. So, we define, design, and implement the Mobile Application System Architecture(MASA) that includes the development process for applying into mobile business domain and encompass scoping and gathering requirements for the Product line based on Component Based Development(CBD).

Co Evolutionary Structural Design(CESD) Framework is presented, which can deal with the load design and structural topology design simultaneously. The load design here is the exploration algorithm that finds the critical load patterns of the given structure. In general, the load pattern is a crucial factor in determining the structural topology and being selected from the experts어 intuition and experience. However, if any of the critical load patterns would be excluded during the process of problem formation, the solution structure might show inadequate performance under the load pattern. Otherwise if some reinforcement method such as safety factor method would be utilized, the solution structure could result in inefficient conservativeness. On the other hand, the CESD has the ability of automatically finding the most critical load patterns and can help the structural solution evolve into the robust design. The CESD is made up of a load design discipline and a structural topology design discipline both of which have the fully coupled relation each other. This coupling is resolved iteratively until the resultant solution can resist against all the possible load patterns and both disciplines evolve into the solution structure with the mutual help or competition. To verify the usefulness of this approach, the 10 bar truss and the jacket type offshore structure are presented. SORA(Sequential Optimization & Reliability Assessment) is adopted in CESD as a probabilistic optimization methodology, and its usefulness in decreasing the computational cost is verified also.

Although experimental analysis for groundwater sample at wells located systematically are very effective to delineate seawater intrusion region at coastal area, this method is restricted in few wells and time. We have conducted electrical resistivity sounding at 30 points in the study areas to analyze the region of seawater intrusion and found the boundary between salt wedge and fresh water lens from the analysis results of geostatistical method using variogram for one-dimensional inversion results. The methodology adopted in this study would be useful for finding the seawater intrusion region and evaluating quantitatively.
