The Method of Extended Extreme Programming for Content Software Development Environment (콘텐츠 소프트웨어 개발 환경을 위해 확장된 익스트림 프로그래밍 방법)

  • When performing a software development project, the most important thing is building a result with planned quality within development period. Particularly, if the project is delayed or has no good quality in the case of the content software development project which is sensitive to the release time and quality, it is immediately connected to the failure of the whole project. Extreme programming is a methodology that divides the development cycle into smaller units for reducing the risk factor of the project in which the development period is important. In this paper, we suggest the expanded extreme programming which can consider the development period and quality at the same time for content software development environment. The suggested methods are documentation mechanism that is upcoming during the development project and multiple role model which is extended from pair programming method.

Disparity-based Depth Scaling of Multiview Images (변이 기반 다시점 영상의 인식 깊이감 조절)

  • In this paper, we present a depth scaling method for multiview images that could provide an 3D depth that a user prefers. Unlike previous works that change a camera configuration, the proposed method utilizes depth data in order to carry out the scaling of a depth range requested by users. From multivew images and their corresponding depth data, depth data is transformed into a disparity and the disparity is adjusted in order to control the perceived depth. In particular, our method can deal with multiview images captured by multiple cameras, and can be expanded from stereoscopic to multiview images. Based upon a DSCQS subjective evaluation test, our experimental results tested on an automultiscopic 3D display show that the perceived depth is appropriately scaled according to user's preferred depth.

Extraction of Road Surface Freezing Section using GIS (GIS를 이용한 도로의 노면결빙구간 추출)

  • This study suggests a method for securing road safety by extracting the expected surface freezing section in planning a route using GIS. When planning a road construction in a mountainous area it is possible to confront surface freezing especially in the wintertime. In addition, it is required assessment data of surface freezing rates in the case of turnkey inspections of newly constructed or expanded roads. Consequently, an analysis method that can quantitatively estimate the surface freezing section and sunshine influence on each section of a road is needed. We can extract the expected surface freezing section which amounted to around 29km of the Donghae highway, with such techniques as three-dimensional modeling, sunshine simulation geographical database construction and spatial analysis using the overlay function of the GIS spatial analysis. This study can be used as a method to assess advance safety which has a direct influence on planning the blueprint that should be approved by a policy maker after efficiently understanding the expected surface freezing section in accordance with hill shade.

A Study on TM Scattering by a Conductive Strip Grating Between a Double Dielectric Layer (2중 유전체층 사이의 완전도체띠 격자구조에 의한 TM 산란에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, TM(transverse magnetic) scattering problems by a conductive strip grating between a double dielectric layer are analyzed by applying the PMM(point matching method) known as a numerical method of electromagnetic fileld. The boundary conditions are applied to obtain the unknown field coefficients, the scattered electromagnetic fields are expanded in a series of Floquet mode functions, and the conductive boundary condition is applied to analysis of the conductive strip. The most normalized reflected powers of the sharp variations in minimum values are scattered in direction of the other angles except incident angle. Generally, in the case of numerical analysis except for reflection and transmission power in free space, as the dielectric constants of the double dielectric layer increases, the reflected power increases and the transmitted power decreases relatively, respectively. The numerical results for the presented structure of this paper having a grounded double dielectric layer are shown in good agreement compared to those of the existing papers.

  • Industrial machines are sometimes exposed to the danger of earthquake. In the design of a mechanical system, this factor should be accounted for from the viewpoint of reliability to analyze a complex nonlinear structure system under random excitation is proposed. First, the actual random excitation, such as earthquake, is approximated to the corresponding Gaussian process for the statistical analysis. The modal equations of overall system are expanded sequentially. Then, the perturbed equations are synthesized into the overall system and solved in probabilistic way. Several statistical properties of a random process that are of interest in random vibration are evaluated in each substructure. Comparing with the results of the numerical simulation proved the efficiency of the proposed method.

  • The BVI(blade vortex interaction) noise Prediction has been one of the most challenging acoustic analyses in helicopter aeromechanical Phenomenon. It is well known high resolution airloads data with accurate tip vortex positions are necessary for the accurate prediction of this phenomenon. The truly unsteady time-marching free-wake method, which is able to capture the tip vortices instability in hover and axial flights, is expanded with the rotor flapping motion and trim routine to predict unsteady airloads in forward and descent flights. And Farassat formulation 1-A based on the FW-H equation is applied for the noise prediction considering the blade flapping motion. Main objective of this study is to validate the newly developed prediction code. To achieve the objective, the descent flight condition of AH-1 OLS(operational loads survey) configuration is analyzed using present code. The predicted sectional thrust distribution and sectional airloads time histories show the present scheme is able to capture well the unsteady airloads caused by a parallel BVI. Finally, the predicted noise data, observed in two different positions where are 3.44 times of rotor radius far from the hub center, are quite reasonable agreements with the experimental data compared to the other analysis results.

A Study on the Prediction of Teeth Deformation of the Automobile Transmission Part(Shaft/Gear) in Warm Shrink Fitting Process (온간압입공정에서 자동차 변속기 단품(축/기어) 치형 변화 예측에 관한 연구)

  • Fitting process carried out in automobile transmission assembly line is classified into three classes; heat fitting, press fitting, and their combined fitting. Heat fitting is a method that heats gear to a suitable range under the tempering temperature and squeezes it toward the outer diameter of shaft. Its stress depends on the yield strength of gear. Press fitting is a method that generally squeezes gear toward that of shaft at room temperature by press. Another method heats warmly gear and safely squeezes it toward that of shaft. Warm shrink fitting process for automobile transmission part is now gradually increased, but the parts (shaft/gear) assembled by this process produced dimensional changes of gear profile in both radial and circumferential directions. So that it may cause noise and vibration between gears. In order to solve these problems, we need an analysis of warm shrink fitting process, in which design parameters are involved; contact pressure according to fitting interference between outer diameter of shaft and inner diameter of gear, fitting temperature, and profile tolerance of gear. In this study, an closed form equation to predict contact pressure and fitting load was proposed in order to develop optimization technique of warm shrink fitting process and verified its reliability through the experimental results measured in the field and FEM, that is, thermal-structural coupled field analysis. Actual loads measured in the field have a good agreement with the results obtained by theoretical and finite element analysis and also the expanded amounts of the gear profile in both radial and circumferential directions are within the limit tolerances used in the field.

  • With the growth of the EC(Electronic Commerce), Buying and selling software through the internet are expanded. Among the ESD(Electronic Software Distribution) methods, Buy-first method and TrY-before-bu1 method can not solve the illegal copy problem. Recently developed EL(Electronic License) model solve the illegal copy problem by separating the software and license. But this method also can not support various ways for payment. In this paper we propose the software license management system that is a newly form like ESD model. This system proposes NL(New License) to support various payment methods and SC(Software Charge) to insure that a seller takes the software price. Agent of the proposed system offers scalability to other systems and illegal copy protection function bv managing NL and SC.

  • Due to the toughening intelligence-based competitions among nations, it has become important to industrialize R&D results. To industrialize R&D results through technology transfer, the transfer fee between a technology developer and a company should be discussed. While discussing the transfer fee, the results of technology valuation have been used. However, due to the unreliability of its result, the technology transfer market has not been expanded. In this paper, we discuss the improvement of the reliability of the technology valuation method to expand the technology transfer market. The proposed scheme provides graph-type technology valuation results according to various industrial scenarios using objective technology and market data. With the use of the proposed scheme, the technology developer and the consumer (i.e., the company) can determine the appropriate technology transfer fee. Thus, the proposed scheme is expected to contribute to the expansion of the technology transfer market.
