The purpose of this study was to explore the meaning and essence of experience of family members as care-givers of terminally ill cancer patients at hospice wards. This study was based on the Giorgi phenomenological method, which describes the experiences about the family caregivers. We had in-depth interview with spouses and orthogonal families of nine terminally ill cancer patients. Results were drawn into 13 essential themes, 45 sub themes, and 122 main points. The essential themes are as follows: "cling of life", "bed-keeper", "sacrifice of care", "physical and mental exhaustion during care process","feeling of love and hatred", "avenge on a patient", "self-condemnation", "futility after exhaustion", "consolation of other caregivers", "utmost efforts in resignation", "freedom from suffering", "paradoxical blessing of cancer", "introspected revolution", and "preparation of a dignified death". Implications and limitations are discussed based on study results.
Agricultural drainage salt generated during irrigation of crops in San Joaquin Valley, California, exceeds 600,000 tons annually and cumulates in the field in a rapid rate. As a result, the waste is taking out more farmlands for salt storage and disposal, imposing serious concerns to environment and local agricultural industry. In searching for a potential solution to reduce or eliminate the waste, this research explored feasibility of producing a value-added product, sodium sulfate, from the waste and utilizing the product in textile dyeing. The results indicated that sodium sulfate could be produced from the salt and could be purified by a recrystalization method in a temperature range within the highest and lowest daily temperatures in summer in the valley. The recovered sodium sulfate samples, with purities ranging from 67% to 99.91, were compared with commercially available sodium sulfate in the dyeing of levelling dyes with nylon/wool fabrics. In nylon/wool fabrics, C.I. Acid Yellow 23 had similar exhaustions among Na₂SO₄ I, Na₂SO₄ II, Na₂SO₄ III and Na₂SO₄ Ⅴ which had similar ratios of sodium sulfate and sodium chloride in recovered salts. Na₂SO₄ Ⅳ had low exhaustion which had low ratios of sodium sulfate and sodium chloride. In nylon/wool fabrics, C.I. Acid Blue 158 had similar exhaustions among Na₂SO₄ I, Na₂SO₄ II, Na2₂SO₄ III, Na₂SO₄ IV and Na₂SO₄ Ⅴ despite of Na₂SO₄ Ⅳ had low ratios of sodium sulfate and sodium chloride Generally, the dyeing of levelling dyes using recovered salts from farm drainage has similar or low exhaustion than the dyeing of levelling dyes using commercial sodium sulfate.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of black consumers' perception of behavior on Emotional exhaust and ago resiliency among hair service experts. The 318 questionnaires for hair and beauty experts in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province and Jeollanam-do were used as the final analysis data and were analyzed using the SPSS 26.0 statistics program. Analysis method to analyze frequency factor analysis, reliability analysis, Correlation analysis, Multiple regression analysis was performed. First, black consumers' perception of behavior showed a positive correlation with emotional exhaust, and black consumers' perception of behavior showed a negative correlation with ago resiliency. the emotional exhaust and ago resiliency showed a negative correlation with each other. Second, it was confirmed that excessive among the black consumer factors affects has an effect on emotional exhaust. Third, it was confirmed that excessive and Habitual among the black consumer factors affects on ago resiliency. Fourth, it was confirmed that emotional exhaust has an effect on ago resiliency.
The textile industry in Korea, the dyeing sector is an energy-intensive sector and has low per-unit productivity due to its labor-intensive nature. If the defective rate of dyed fabrics is high, additional costs are incurred due to an increase in production cost due to re-dyeing. Therefore, the goal of the dyeing factory was to minimize the defect rate rather than to save energy. It was difficult to check the dyeing state of the fabric in real time due to the risk of accidents due to burns or pressure when dyeing in a high-temperature and high-pressure environment. In this paper, a complex sensor that can measure the exhaustion rate of dye solution in the dyeing machine using turbidity, pH, and conductivity sensors was proposed, and the experimental method and experimental results were analyzed.
In recent academic and industrial circles of the Republic of Korea, the securement of available reactive power reserve against the line faults is at issue. Thus, simulations have been performed for the securing of effective reactive power reserve (effective Q) to prepare for the line faults and improve reactive power monitoring and control methods. That is, a research has been conducted for the fast-decoupled Newton-Raphson method. In this study, a method that distinguishes source and sink regions to carry out faster provision of information in the event of line fault has been proposed. This method can perform quantification with the formula that calculates voltage variations in the line flow. The line flow and voltage changes can be easily induced by the power flow calculation performed every second in the operation system. It is expected that the proposed method will be able to contribute to securement of power system stability by securing efficient reactive power. Also, the proposed method will be able to contribute to prepare against contingencies effectively. It is not easy to prepare quickly for the situation where voltage drops rapidly due to the exhaustion of reactive power source by observing voltage information only. This paper's simulation was performed on the large scale Korean power system in steady state.
Plantae of the natural material has been broadly used on cloth dyeing by it's specific properties such as eco-friendly and innoxious. However dyeing with natural material on synthetic fiber is nearly impossible due to poor affinity between natural material and synthetic fiber. The method which is binding with micro-capsulized natural material to cloth, used in this study, has low change on quality by external influence. Also this method has high ability in spray effect by broken capsule which comes to pressure and friction when the treated cloth was dressed. And this method is applicable widely from natural fiber to synthetic fiber. The purpose of this study is to develop the multi-functional synthetic material with micro-capsulized Ginseng on PET. Moreover, it was driven by comparison of colormetric properties and fastness between regular dip-dyeing method and binding with micro-capsulized material method. Dyeability showed a little bit low exhaustion but the PET treated by micro-capsule was more or less better than the dip dyed PET. Through the SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope) of PET treated by micro-capsule, it has good residence of capsules even after 5 or 10 times washing. Wash and light fastness were revealed some different grades by each condition but showed high level, in most and the micro-capsulized PET was more improver than regular dip dyed PET.
Developing of high technology, productivity of the fiber product has being rapidly increased and also various kinds of advanced treatment process lead consumer's needs to more high functional, clean and healthy goods. Moreover, increasing in the concern of eco-friendly material and processing, it has been getting popular that the dyeing method like as using natural dyes is more eco-friendly and natural-friendly treatment process. The method, used in this study, adhesion by binding with micro-capsulized natural material to fabric has low change in quality by external influence and high ability in spray effect by broken capsule which comes to pressure and friction when it dressed. Also it has wide application from natural fiber to synthetic fiber. The purpose of this study is development of multi-functional synthetic material with micro-capsulized Scutellaria baicalensis on PET. Moreover, it was driven by comparison of colormetric properties and fastness between regular dip-dyeing method and binding with micro-capsulized material method. Dye ability was arranged mostly low exhaustion but the PET treated by micro-capsule was more or less better than the dip-dyeing PET. Through the SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope) of PET treated by micro-capsule, it has good residence of capsules even after 5 or 10 times washing. Wash and light fastness was arranged some different grade by each condition but mostly high achievement and the micro-capsulized PET was more improved than regular dip-dyed PET.
A newly developed cost-effective approach to prepare $^{15}N/^{13}C$-labeled protein for NMR studies is presented. This method has been successfully applied to isotopically labeling of PTK6 SH2 domain and MTH 1880 protein. The production method generates cell density using a growing media containing $^{15}NH_4Cl$, $^{12}C_6$-D-glucose. Following a doubling time period for unlabeled metabolite exhaustion and then addition $^{13}C_6$-D-glucose into a M9 growing media, the cells are induced. Our results demonstrate that in order to get full incorporation of $^{13}C$, the isotopes are not totally required during the initial growth phase before induction. The addition of small amounts of $^{13}C_6$-D-glucose to the induction phase is sufficient to obtain more than 95% incorporation of isotopes into the protein. Our optimized protocol is two-thirds less costly than the classical method using $^{13}C$ isotope during the entire growth phase.
Since the sensor nodes are randomly arranged in the region of interest, it may happen that the sensor network area is separated or there is no sensor node in some area. In addition, after the sensor nodes are deployed in the sensor network, a coverage hole may occur due to the exhaustion of energy or physical destruction of the sensor nodes. The coverage hole can greatly affect the overall performance of the sensor network, such as reducing the data reliability of the sensor network, changing the network topology, disconnecting the data link, and worsening the transmission load. Therefore, sensor network coverage hole recovery has been studied. Existing coverage hole recovery studies present very complex geometric methods and procedures in the two-step process of finding a coverage hole and recovering a coverage hole. This study proposes a method for discovering and recovering a coverage hole in a sensor network, discovering that the sensor node is a boundary node by itself, and determining the location of a mobile node to be added. The proposed method is expected to have better efficiency in terms of complexity and message transmission compared to previous methods.
The effect of dietary factors on the self-reported symptoms of fatigue were surveyed by the interviewing method among 119 taxi drivers in Cheonan area. It was shown that 86.5% of them were working over 11 hours a day and 34.4% of them over 16 hours. the level of job satisfaction was very low. Many of them felt fatigue during driving. Some symptoms of fatigue which many taxi drives said to be suffered from were headache physical exhaustion nervousness tired and sore eyes and anorexia. When related variables to the self-reported symptoms of fatigue were analyzed daily sleeping hours and exercise were significantly correlated with physical mental and neuro-motor fatigue, Subjects who had meals irregularly were greater than those who had regularly. In addition they tended to eat faster during working and 28.6% of them seldom had breakfast. Subjects who had meals irregularly consumed significantly less fat iron calcium vitamin A, and riboflavin. A and riboflavin and niacin than those who skipped it.
