합성규산(合成珪酸)알루미늄의 제산능(制散能) 및 흡착능(吸着能)에 미치는 제조조건(製造條件)의 영향(影響) (Effects of Several Manufacturing Conditions on Acid Consuming and Adsorbing Capacities of Aluminum Silicate)

  • The effects and the optimum manufacturing conditions for the preparation of synthetic aluminum silicate which has acid-consuming power and adsorbing capacity were investigated. The results are as follows: 1. The adsorbing capacity was affected by the mixing order of the reactants, that is, the excellent ones were obtained by the method which add the sodium silicate solution to the potassium alum solution. 2. Even though preparing by the bane manufacturing condition, the acid-consuming power is superior to the adsorbing capacity. 3. According to the Box-Wilson Plan, the optimum reaction conditions are concentration of sodium silicate solution; 38% w/w, settling time; 43 hours at room temperature, drying time; 13 hours at $110^{\circ}C$.

TIPS Anthracene Derivatives for Solution Process OTFT Materials : Large $\pi$-stacking area and Easy Crystallizability

  • A series of new channel materials using triisopropylsilylethynyl anthracene(TIPSAN) derivatives are synthesized by well known reaction. The TIPSAN derivatives exhibit an excellent field-effect mobility with hole mobility as high as 0.1 cm2V-1s-1 by solution-process and slip stack structure of core and end groups with short $\pi-\pi$ stacking distance of $3.525{\sim}3.485\;{\AA}$ by single crystal structures.

Dynamic Analysis of Asphalt Concrete Pavement Structure

  • A new solution for the dynamic analysis of as asphalt concrete pavements under moving loads has been developed. The asphalt concrete pavement can be modeled in elastic or viscoelastic medium of multi-layered structure. The subgrade can be modeled as either a rigid base or a semi-infinite halfspace. The loads may be constant or arbitrary circular loads into one direction. The method utilizes the Complex Response Method of transient analysis with a continuum solution in the horizontal direction and a finite-element solution in the vertical direction. This proposed method incorporates such important factors as wave propagation, inertia and damping effects of the medium as well as frequency-dependent asphalt concrete properties. The proposed method has been validted with the full-scale field truck test, which was conducted on instrumented asphalt concrete section on a test track at PACCAR Technical Center in Mount Vernon, Washington. Comparison with field strain data from full-scale pavement tests has shown excellent agreement.   • This paper presents a ripple reduction of BLDC motor using TMS320F240. A fault of permanent magnet(PM) BLDC motor possible to miniaturization and high-output is to be difficult to reduce speed-ripple at low speed region. An existing solution is to be use of PWM waveform by PI control with computing control angle of 60$^{\circ}$. The new family of DSP controllers provides a single chip solution by integrating on-chip not only a high computational power but also, all the peripherals necessary for electric motor control. This paper gives an advanced solution of the SVPWM technique for the purpose of reducing control angel rather than 60$^{\circ}$. This technique gives an excellent speed ripple characteristic.

포도과피의 안토이안 색소를 이용한 직물 염색 (Fabric Dyeing Using Anthocyan Pigment from Grape Skin)

  • The natural dyestuff, grape skin dye was manufactured from grape skin by boiling in 0.1% HCI solution, eliminating the sugar and powdering in freeze dryer. Cotton, wool, silk and nylon fabrics were dyed under several conditions using the manufactured grape skin dye to investigate the dyeability and color fastness. Dyeing was operated in acidic dyebath of pH 4 because the grape skin is anionic. The color of dyed fabrics were affected on temperature of dyeing solution. Under 80$\^{C}$, the color of dyed fabrics were red or violet, but changed to brown in laundering. Above 100$\^{C}$, the color were brown and safe in laundering. Dyeabilities on wool, silk, and nylon fabrics were good, especially silk fabrics were dyed deeper than others. Dyeability was developed with concenturation of dyeing solution. All the dyed fabrics were excellent in color fastness to crocking and laundering. Light fastness was low to moderate. The light fastness of dyed nylon fabrics were as poor as grade 1, but they could be improved to grade 3∼4 by aftertreatment with gallic acid.

  • Automatic control system using microcomputer that have been studied in greenhouse, however, it was very difficult operation with success due to handicap for a various conditions and cultivated plants. This study was performed in order to develop of the basic program and hardware system for automatic control in greenhouse, such as automatic supplying of water, liquefied fertilizer solution and chemical solution. The results were summarized as follows. 1. The program for soil moisture control used by the switch type tensiometer was well operated. 2. The proximity switch was applied as well to water level control but it was very expensive, so low-priced sensor has to be developed. 3. The water meter was not excellent for mixing control of liquefied fertilizer, chemical and water, so water meter for only agricalture has to be developed. 4. Interface system for this study was suited to the developed controller. 5. Automatic control system to supply for water, liquefied fertilizer and chemical solution that was well operated as a fundamental study for product of controller.

Exact mathematical solution for free vibration of thick laminated plates

  • In this paper, the modified form of shear deformation plate theories is proposed. First, the displacement field geometry of classical and the first order shear deformation theories are compared with each other. Using this comparison shows that there is a kinematic relation among independent variables of the first order shear deformation theory. So, the modified forms of rotation functions in shear deformation theories are proposed. Governing equations for rectangular and circular thick laminated plates, having been analyzed numerically so far, are solved by method of separation of variables. Natural frequencies and mode shapes of the plate are determined. The results of the present method are compared with those of previously published papers with good agreement obtained. Efficiency, simplicity and excellent results of this method are extensible to a wide range of similar problems. Accurate solution for governing equations of thick composite plates has been made possible for the first time.

LiBr 수용액을 이용한 수평관 유하액막 증발의 촉진관 전열향상 특성 (Heat Transfer Enhancement Characteristics for Falling-Film Evaporation on Horizontal Enhanced Tubes with Aqueous LiBr Solution)

  • Falling-film evaporation experiments with aqueous lithium bromide (LiBr) solution were performed to investigate the heat transfer characteristics of enhanced copper tubes. Enhanced tubes (a knurled tube, a spirally grooved tube, and a tube coated with $20{\mu}m$ aluminum particles) and a bare tube were selected as test specimens. Averaged evaporation fluxes of water were obtained from horizontal tubes with various film Reynolds numbers, system pressures, LiBr concentrations and degrees of wall superheat. The enhanced performance of steam generation was compared between tubes with varying parameters. The knurled tube geometry showed the most excellent performance among the tubes tested. The specified enhanced tubes were more useful for generating steam on a low grade heat source such as waste heat.

Hybrid Transparent Conductor by using Solution-Processed AgNWs for High-Performing Si Photodetectors

  • A hybrid transparent conducting layer was applied for Si photodetector. To realize the hybrid transparent conducting layer, a 200 nm-thick ITO layer was deposited onto a Si substrate, following by a solution-processed AgNWs-coating on the ITO. The hybrid transparent conducting layer showed an excellent low electric resistance of $15.9{\Box}/{\Omega}$ with a high optical transparency of 86.89%. Due to these optical and electrical benefits, the hybrid transparent conductor-embedding Si diode provides an extremely high rectifying ratio of 3386. Under light-illumination, the hybrid transparent conductor device provides extremely high photoresponses for broad wavelengths. This implies that a functional design for hybrid transparent conductor is crucial for photoelectric devices and applications.

  • 본 논문에서는 이동 셀룰러 네트워크 환경에서 한정된 자원인 무선대역폭을 효율적으로 사용하기 위해 게임이론을 이용한 대역폭 예약 기법을 제안하였다. 제안된 기법에서는 게임 이론의 협상 해법 중 대표적인 NBS 기법을 이용하여 전체 시스템의 효용을 극대화하는 최적의 대역폭 대여량과 예약량을 계산한다. 성능평가 결과 제안된 기법이 다양한 네트워크의 상황에 탄력적으로 대응할 수 있었기에 기존에 제안된 기법에 비해 뛰어난 성능을 보임을 확인할 수 있었다.
