Grid method에 의한 3차원 형상의 평면전개를 위한 optimal matrix 표준화 연구 -$18{\sim}24$세 여성 Upper Front Shell을 중심으로- (Optimal Matrix Standardization for Pattern Flattening Using Grid Method -Focused on Young Women's Upper Front Shell-)

  • Many applications in computer graphics require complex, highly detailed models. However, to control processing time, it is often desirable to use approximations in place of excessively detailed models. Therefore, we have developed the notion of an optimal matrix to simplify the model surface which can then rapidly obtain high quality 2D patterns by flattening the 3D surface. Firstly, the woman's 3D body was modeled based on Size Korea data. Secondly, the 3D model was divided by shell and block for the pattern draft. Thirdly, each block was flattened by the grid and bridge method. Finally, we select the optimal matrix and demonstrate it's efficiency and quality. The proposed approach accommodates surfaces with darts, which are commonly utilized in the clothing industry to reduce the deformation of surface forming and flattening. The resulting optimal matrix could be an initiation of standardization for pattern flattening. This can facilitate much better approximations, in both efficiency and exactness.

시뮬레이션 기반의 컨테이너터미널 생산성측정 전략 (The Simulation-based Strategy of Measuring Productivities in the Container Terminal)

  • Apart from the DEA method, the traditional measuring systems of container terminal productivities generally bring to light the partial productive efficiencies, because they evaluate only the productivity of each individual facility. However, these methods do not play roles of the reasonable productivity measures to compare and evaluate the efficiencies of terminals to meet the requirement of terminal customers like as shipping lines, shippers, etc. with the cutthroat competition in container handling market. As the suppliers of service, the terminals struggle to cope with the needs of buyers' markets due to the lack of suitable criteria to measure the efficiencies. Therefore, this paper uses the simulation approach to reveal which strategies enhance the productivities through the container terminal analysis. An additional intent of this paper is to build the active strategies to present what the experimental indexes like as norm-time exactness ratio, norm-time excess ratio, etc. compare between terminals to measure the total productivities for the age of global supply chain management. However, the experimental productivity indexes presented in this paper require a validation of the exact usefulness, by consideration from all angles in the future, and a development to more reasonable measuring method/indexes for the container terminal productivities.

접합요소를 이용한 볼트 접합부의 유한요소해석 (Finite Element Analysis of Bolted Connections Using Joint Elements)

  • 볼트 접합부의 정확한 해석을 위하여 접합 요소와 볼트 요소 및 쉘 요소를 사용한 방법을 개발하였다. 접합면을 단순하게 이상화시키는 접합 요소와 장력을 갖는 볼트 요소를 도입하였고, 전체적인 계산과정은 2단계, 즉 제안된 방법에 의한 초기 강성의 결정과 뉴턴-랩슨법에 근거하는 호장법을 이용한 비선형 거동의 추적으로 구분하여 행함으로써 계산의 효율성을 증대시켰다. 앵글을 사용한 반강접 접합부와 모멘트 판을 사용한 접합부를 해석하여 기존 실험 및 해석과 비교함으로써 제안한 방법의 정확성과 적용성을 입증하였다. 또한 볼트 접합부의 정확한 해석을 위해서는 접합면에서 발생하는 미끄럼짐의 고려가 반드시 필요하며 접합부를 구성하는 판재의 3차원적인 변형의 해석도 무시할 수 없는 역할을 하는 사실을 보여주었다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 축대칭 하중을 받는 원통형 펄의 엄밀해를 구하는데 있어서, 간략하면서도 엄밀한 해를 구하는 방법을 제시하고자 하는데 있다. 이는 임의 형상의 구조해석을 위한 강력한 도구이긴 하지만 여전히 근사해석인 유한요소법에 대체될 수 있을 것이다. 이를 위해 본 논문은 반복법의 일종인 인도행렬법을 이용한 절점역계의 분배방식을 사용하였다. 원통형 쉘의 분배와 전달인자는 한성지반상의 보에 대한 미분방정식으로부터 구해진 것이다. 이러한 방법을 축대칭 집중하중과 정수압을 받는 원통형 쉘에 각각 적용해 보았고, 그 결과는 BEF 이론해와 비교할 때 만족할 만 하였다.

A Self-Consistent Semi-Analytical Model for AlGaAs/InGaAs PMHEMTs

  • A semi-analytical model based on exact numerical analysis of the 2DEG channel in pseudo-morphic HEMT (PMHEMT) is presented. The exactness of the model stems from solving both Schrodinger's wave equation and Poisson's equation simultaneously and self-consistently. The analytical modeling of the device terminal characteristics in relation to the charge control model has allowed a best fit with the geometrical and structural parameters of the device. The numerically obtained data for the charge control of the channel are best fitted to analytical expressions which render the problem analytical. The obtained good agreement between experimental and modeled current/voltage characteristics and small signal parameters has confirmed the validity of the model over a wide range of biasing voltages. The model has been used to compare both the performance and characteristics of a PMHEMT with a competetive HEMT. The comparison between the two devices has been made in terms of 2DEG density, transfer characteristics, transconductance, gate capacitance and unity current gain cut-off frequency. The results show that PMHEMT outperforms the conventional HEMT in all considered parameters.

  • 본 논문에서는 헬스케어시스템에서 효율적인 질병 관리를 위한 질병 규칙을 생성하는 질병규칙생성 기법(Disease Rule Creation Scheme)을 제안한다. DRCS는 기본적으로 Rough Set Theory의 개념을 이용하며, 각 속성과 결정 속성간의 지지율을 계산한다. 그리고 결정 속성을 기준으로 지지율이 낮은 속성은 제거한 후에, 질병을 판단할 수 있는 질병 규칙을 생성한다. 그 결과, DRCS는 C4.5알고리즘 보다 적은 질병규칙의 수를 생성하였으며, 질병 규칙의 정확성은 향상되었다.

  • 본 논문은 로터 시스템의 디스크 회전운동을 표현하는데 있어 운동방정식을 통합하는 과정에서 기존 연구자들이 채택한 오일러 각 사용법이 일관성이 없음을 지적하였다. 기존 연구자들은 오일러 각 순서가 달라서 속도와 운동에너지도 달리 산정하였음은 물론, 운동방정식은 오직 선형 시스템만 취급해 왔다 이러한 오일러 각 사용법의 단점을 극복하기 위하여 회전운동을 더욱 단순하게 매개화할 수 있는 4원법(quaternion)과 구 좌표계를 적용하여 비선형 시스템을 도출하였다. 이를 바탕으로 수치해석을 통하여 기존 방법과 비교하여 제안한 방법의 신뢰성과 우수성을 보였다.

유한차분법에서 열손실 정확도에 미치는 Node 개수의 영향 (The Effect of the Number of Nodes on the Exactness of Heat Loss in the Finite Difference Method)

  • The effect of the number of nodes on the heat loss from a rectangular fin for a finite difference method is studied. There are two ways for selecting nodes for the upper half fin in this finite difference method. In the first place, all the ${\Delta}x$ are the same and all the ${\Delta}y$ are the same for the entire upper half fin. Incremental length of x (i.e. ${\Delta}x$) is divided by two near the fin tip while all the ${\Delta}y$ are the same for another way. The results show that 1) About 30 nodes are enough to obtain the satisfactory exact analysis (relative error < 5%) on the heat loss for a given range of Biot number in case of short fin (i.e. $L{\leq}2$). 2) Under usual circumstances (Bi<0.1), the relative error of heat loss between using 30 nodes and 90 nodes is within 4% for given range of non-dimensional fin length. 3) The relative error of the calculated heat loss (the number of node=90) as compared to the expected exact heat loss is less then 1.5% for Bi=0.1 and L=10 while that is over 13% for Bi=1.0 and L=10.

Topology Aggregation for Hierarchical Wireless Tactical Networks

  • Wireless tactical network (WTN) is the most important present-day technology enabling modern network centric warfare. It inherits many features from WMNs, since the WTN is based on existing wireless mesh networks (WMNs). However, it also has distinctive characteristics, such as hierarchical structures and tight QoS (Quality-of-Service) requirements. Little research has been conducted on hierarchical protocols to support various QoS in WMN. We require new protocols specifically optimized for WTNs. Control packets are generally required to find paths and reserve resources for QoS requirements, so data throughput is not degraded due to overhead. The fundamental solution is to adopt topology aggregation, in which a low tier node aggregates and simplifies the topology information and delivers it to a high tier node. The overhead from control packet exchange can be reduced greatly due to decreased information size. Although topology aggregation is effective for low overhead, it also causes the inaccuracy of topology information; thus, incurring low QoS support capability. Therefore, we need a new topology aggregation algorithm to achieve high accuracy. In this paper, we propose a new aggregation algorithm based on star topology. Noting the hierarchical characteristics in military and hierarchical networks, star topology aggregation can be used effectively. Our algorithm uses a limited number of bypasses to increase the exactness of the star topology aggregation. It adjusts topology parameters whenever it adds a bypass. Consequently, the result is highly accurate and has low computational complexity.

관성 마찰용접 공정에서 심층 신경망을 이용한 업셋 길이와 업셋 시간의 예측 (Prediction of Upset Length and Upset Time in Inertia Friction Welding Process Using Deep Neural Network)

  • A deep neural network (DNN) model was proposed to predict the upset in the inertia friction welding process using a database comprising results from a series of FEM analyses. For the database, the upset length, upset beginning time, and upset completion time were extracted from the results of the FEM analyses obtained with various of axial pressure and initial rotational speed. A total of 35 training sets were constructed to train the proposed DNN with 4 hidden layers and 512 neurons in each layer, which can relate the input parameters to the welding results. The mean of the summation of squared error between the predicted results and the true results can be constrained to within 1.0e-4 after the training. Further, the network model was tested with another 10 sets of welding input parameters and results for comparison with FEM. The test showed that the relative error of DNN was within 2.8% for the prediction of upset. The results of DNN application revealed that the model could effectively provide welding results with respect to the exactness and cost for each combination of the welding input parameters.
