A Study on the Standardization for Railway Route Control Locking Logic (철도 진로 제어 연동 로직의 표준화를 위한 연구)

  • A route control in railway is one of the very important system to operate a train. An efficient train route control assures to increase train operation performance with a same railway system. The erroneous route control can accompany serious accidents which occur train collision or derailment which provokes death. A Route control carries out exactly lest the accident should take place. An interlocking table is widely used for the exact route control. The table has the problem of its exactness proving because it has been established by experts. In this paper, We tried to formalize a route control using mathematical logic. A route consists of symbolized tracks, signals, switch and crossing. It represents as a set, respectively. We proposed route setting control logic, converted the elements to set logics and construct route logics with the set logics of the elements. Finally we proposed a model which presents a prototype routes and we proved the proposed logics using the proposed method.

  • In this article, a systematic solution based on the sequence of expansion method is planned to solve the time-fractional diffusion equation, time-fractional telegraphic equation and time-fractional wave equation in three dimensions using a current and valid approximate method, namely the ADM, VIM, and the NIM subject to the estimate initial condition. By using these three methods it is likely to find the exact solutions or a nearby approximate solution of fractional partial differential equations. The exactness, efficiency, and convergence of the method are demonstrated through the three numerical examples.

INDUCTIVE LIMIT IN THE CATEGORY OF C* -TERNARY RINGS

  • We show the existence of inductive limit in the category of C*-ternary rings. It is proved that the inductive limit of C*-ternary rings commutes with the functor 𝓐 in the sense that if (Mn, ϕn) is an inductive system of C*-ternary rings, then $\lim_{\rightarrow}$ 𝓐(Mn) = 𝓐$(\lim_{\rightarrow}\;M_{n})$. Some local properties (such as nuclearity, exactness and simplicity) of inductive limit of C*-ternary rings have been investigated. Finally we obtain $\lim_{\rightarrow}\;M_{n}^{**}$ = $(\lim_{\rightarrow}\;M_{n})^{**}$.

  • Let R be a commutative ring with identity. Let R be an integral domain and M a torsion-free R-module. We investigate the relation between the notion of e-exactness, recently introduced by Akray and Zebari [1], and generalized the concept of homology, and establish a relation between e-exact sequences and homology of modules. We modify some applications of e-exact sequences in homology and reprove some results of homology with e-exact sequences such as horseshoe lemma, long exact sequences, connecting homomorphisms and etc. Next, we generalize two special drived functor T or and Ext, and study some properties of them.

  • The category of pairs is the category whose objects are maps between two based spaces and morphisms are pair-maps from one object to another object. To study the self-homotopy equivalences in the category of pairs, we use covariant functors from the category of pairs to the group category whose objects are groups and morphisms are group homomorphisms. We introduce specific subgroups of groups of self-pair homotopy equivalences and put these groups together into certain sequences. We investigate properties of these sequences, in particular, the exactness and split. We apply the results to two special functors, homotopy and homology functors and determine the suggested several subgroups of groups of self-pair homotopy equivalences.

A Fast and Accurate Face Detection and Tracking Method by using Depth Information (깊이정보를 이용한 고속 고정밀 얼굴검출 및 추적 방법)

  • This paper proposes a fast face detection and tracking method which uses depth images as well as RGB images. It consists of the face detection procedure and the face tracking procedure. The face detection method basically uses an existing method, Adaboost, but it reduces the size of the search area by using the depth image. The proposed face tracking method uses a template matching technique and incorporates an early-termination scheme to reduce the execution time further. The results from implementing and experimenting the proposed methods showed that the proposed face detection method takes only about 39% of the execution time of the existing method. The proposed tracking method takes only 2.48ms per frame with $640{\times}480$ resolution. For the exactness, the proposed detection method showed a little lower in detection ratio but in the error ratio, which is for the cases when a detected one as a face is not really a face, the proposed method showed only about 38% of that of the previous method. The proposed face tracking method turned out to have a trade-off relationship between the execution time and the exactness. In all the cases except a special one, the tracking error ratio is as low as about 1%. Therefore, we expect the proposed face detection and tracking methods can be used individually or in combined for many applications that need fast execution and exact detection or tracking.

  • As the approach close-range digital photogrammetry has a variety of merits, the application of precision requiting fields is in Increase for its scope expansion. In the meantime, in case of photographic surveying by use of films, a lot of studies on experiment analysis and theoretical forecast models about a change of the exactness as per photographing coordinates have been conducted, but experiments about approach close-range digital photogrammetry are not enough yet. In consequence, this study has made photographing respectively by changing the photographic distance, converging angle, picturing direction by use of Rollei d7 metric and d7 metric$\^$5/ that is a measurement digital camera. And also in order to minimize the errors happened at the relative orientation, we have sorted out the prototype target that the relative orientation is automatically on the programming and have calculated RMSE by carrying out the bundle adjustment. We think that such a study could be used as very important basic data necessary in deriving the optimal photographic conditions by the close-range digital photogrammetry and in judging such a degree.

Multi-constrained Shortest Disjoint Paths for Reliable QoS Routing

  • Finding link-disjoint or node-disjoint paths under multiple constraints is an effective way to improve network QoS ability, reliability, and so on. However, existing algorithms for such scheme cannot ensure a feasible solution for arbitrary networks. We propose design principles of an algorithm to fill this gap, which we arrive at by analyzing the properties of optimal solutions for the multi-constrained link-disjoint path pair problem. Based on this, we propose the link-disjoint optimal multi-constrained paths algorithm (LIDOMPA), to find the shortest link-disjoint path pair for any network. Three concepts, namely, the candidate optimal solution, the contractive constraint vector, and structure-aware non-dominance, are introduced to reduce its search space without loss of exactness. Extensive simulations show that LIDOMPA outperforms existing schemes and achieves acceptable complexity. Moreover, LIDOMPA is extended to the node-disjoint optimal multi-constrained paths algorithm (NODOMPA) for the multi-constrained node-disjoint path pair problem.

A Study on the Classification Scheme of the Internet Search Engine (인터넷 탐색엔진에 관한 연구)

  • The main purpose of this study is ① to settle and to analyze the classification of the Internet Search Engine comparitively, and ② to build the compatible model of Internet Search Engine classification in order to seek information on the Internet resources. specially in the branch of the Computers and Internet areas. For this study, four Internet Search Engine (Excite, 1-Detect, Simmany, Yahoo Korea!), Inspec Classification and two distionaries were used. The major findings and result of analysis are summarized as follows : 1. The basis of the classification is the scope of topics, the system logic, the clearness, the efficiency. 2. The scope of topics is analyzed comparitively by the number of items from each Search Engine. In the result, Excite is the most superior of the four 3. The system logic is analyzed comparitively by the casuality balance and consistency of the items from each Search Engine. In the result, Excite is the most superior of the four 4. The clearness is analyzed comparitively by the clearness and accuracy of items, the recognition of the searchers. In the result, Excite is the most superior of the four. 5 The efficiency is analyzed comparitively by the exactness of indexing and decreasing the effort of the searchers. In the result, Yahoo Korea! is the most superior of the four. 6 The compatible model of Internet Search Engine classification is estavlished to uplift the scope of topics, the system logic, the clearness, and the efficiency. The model divides the area mainly based upon the topics and resources using‘bookmark’and‘shadow’concept.

Histogram Specification Method Development for Accurate Visual Inspection (정확한 비전 검사를 위한 히스토그램 지정 기법 개발)

  • The appearance inspection of various electronic products and parts has been executed by the eyesight of human. But inspection by eyesight cannot bring about uniform inspection result. Because the appearance inspection result by eyesight of human is changed by condition of physical and spirit of the checker. So machine vision inspection system is currently used to many appearance inspection fields instead of the checker. However the inspection result of machine vision is changed by the illumination of workplace. Therefore we proposed histogram specification in this paper for machine vision inspection accuracy. As a result of histogram specification algorithm, we could increase the exactness of visual inspection and prevent system error from physical and spirit condition of human. More specifically, average inspection error rate was 7.5[%] in existing inspection method but we could see 0.6[%] error rate after applying the algorithm which is presented in this paper.
