Owing to the rapid increase of the number of automobiles, the traffic is being heavily crippled as time goes by. To provide drivers with better safety and convenience, a variety of CNSs(Car Navigation System) are being installed more and more specially for the vehicles which are produced in recent days. As the CNS has gained the public popularity, it has been playing a role as a component of the multimedia system in a vehicle in addition to providing the capability of route guidance service. It is, therefore, now recognized as an important unit of the vehicle interior system. As the situation has been changed as formerly described, it is necessary that not only the functions but also the usability and exterior features are to be designed to suit customers' tastes. This paper is an attempt to find out what the major sensibility factors which customers want as far as a CNS is concerned are. Because these factors can differ from a vehicle type to another that customers prefer, the analysis is based on the vehicle preference. It is proved that MDS(Multi Dimensional Scaling) is an effective method to analyze the sensibility factors for the different types of vehicles. The result shows that for the people who prefer the sedan-type vehicles, luxuriousness, harmoniousness, and texture are major factors. For people who like sports car, faminism, salience, and dynamics are major factors. For people who prefer SUV's(Sports Utility Vehicle) or MPV's(Multi Purpose Vehicle), solidity, dynamics, and convenience are important.
Traffic accidents can be defined as a physical collision event of vehicles occurred instantaneously when drivers do not perceive the surrounding vehicles and roadway environments properly. Therefore, detecting the high potential events that cause traffic accidents with monitoring the interactions among the surroundings continuously by driver is the prerequisite for prevention the traffic accidents. For the analysis, basic data were collected to analyze interactions using a test vehicle which is equipped the GPS(Global Positioning System)-IMU(Inertial Measurement Unit), camera, radar and RiDAR. From the collected data, highway geometric information and the surrounding traffic situation were analyzed and then safety evaluation algorithm for driving vehicle was developed. In order to detect a dangerous event of interaction with surrounding vehicles, locations and speed data of surrounding vehicles acquired from the radar sensor were used. Using the collected data, the tangent and curve section were divided and the driving safety evaluation algorithm which is considered the highway geometric characteristic were developed. This study also proposed an algorithm that can assess the possibility of collision against surrounding vehicles considering the characteristics of geometric road structure. The methodology proposed in this study is expected to be utilized in the fields of autonomous vehicles in the future since this methodology can assess the driving safety using collectible data from vehicle's sensors.

Using Technology Acceptance Model and flow theory as our foundation, this paper investigates the interrelationships among social influence, individual cognition, flow, and actual usage in the Web 2.0 environment. According to TAM, users evaluate perceived usefulness(PU) and ease of use(PEU) of information technology(IT) in accepting the innovative IT. Along with users' cognitive evaluation(i.e. PU and PEU), in case of UCC(user-created-contents), which is one of the representative Web 2.0 features, flow also has a significant effect on users' usage. Accordingly, the current study involve cognitive elements such as PU and PEU as well as flow of enjoyable state during using IT in exploring antecedents leading to UCC usage. On one hand, we consider the effect of social influence on users' cognition and flow toward actual usage because the more users creates Web contents, the more long-tail situation prevails on the Internet. Web 2.0 becomes a kind of social phenomena. The empirical results show that social influence affects positively both PU/PEU and flow. Users' cognitive evaluation and flow have positive impacts on users' UCC usage.
The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics or significances of anger in children by understanding the common factors observed in children's anger and the psychological process of children's anger, applying the experiential analysis method. In order to conduct the study, 8 elementary students in 5th grade participated in the experiential study as joint researchers. This study was conducted during 6 sessions. Joint researchers learned about the experiential analysis method and recorded what they had experienced at the stage of anger on their analysis sheets. 34 experiential analysis sheets were used for this study. The following provides a summary of the study results. Children were observed to perceive the factors representing desires more intensely than the factors indicating a mood or senses. Secondly, when they felt urge to express an extreme anger, they were just explored without the cognitive process of judgment. Thirdly, the processes that children feel and treat anger are "the stage of awareness of the situation," "the stage of initial cognitive evaluation," "the stage of induction of anger," "the stage of secondary cognitive evaluation or the stage of intensive drive of anger," and "the stage of anger management".

The berthing/deberthing manoeuvring operation is the peculiar work owned to the marine pilot and the dock master. So, in the port or the shipyard, the berthing/deberthing manoeuvring operation requires considerable concentration and bears dangerousness. In that situation, a tug utilization is getting increased and the external forces have an effect on the own ship because of moving with low advance speed. In this study, we constructed the 2-dimensional virtual ship manoeuvring simulator system with which we can carry out the berthing/deberthing manoeuvring operation by using tugs in the external forces such as strong wind. And then, we propose the objective indexes by which the degree of manoeuvring difficulty evaluated. Using the present system, we carry out manoeuvring simulation experiment in order to grasp correlation between the objective indexes proposed here and the def{ree of manoeuvring difficulty felt by operator. Lastly, we discuss the evaluation technique of manoeuvring difficulty.

This study was conducted to develop site index equations by main species grown in Gyunggi and Chungcheong provinces using environmental factors obtained from a digital forest site map. For this, 28 environmental factors were regressed on site index by species. Four to five environmental factors by species were selected as independent variables in the best site index equations (coefficients of determination greater than 0.91). For these site index equations, three evaluation statistics, mean difference, standard deviation of difference, and standard error of difference, were applied to the data set. Site index equations by species relationships developed in this study effectively estimate forest productivity in the study area. However, the site index equation of Larix leptolepis showed a larger than expected bias between the estimated and the measured site index. The reason is not clear in this situation, but might be because of the small sample set. It will be necessary, therefore, to conduct more studies to determine the exact reason. It is also expected that the site index equations with a few environmental factors as independent variables could provide valuable information about species well suited to given site conditions. Site index equations for other species should be developed to establish a rational policy about the selection of best species for site conditions.

The Stage-Gate is a market-oriented model that aims to launch new products on the market. Therefore, it can be appropriately introduced and applied to the operation and management of NSSCP, which is undergoing demonstration projects for Daegu and Siheung. In addition, smart cities have the characteristics of convergence and complex among various innovative technologies. When the Stage-Gate is introduced, the performance can be managed centering on the outcomes for each research institution. Therefore, the NSSCP is applying the Stage-Gate for the first time among national R&D projects to improve the quality of the research results and to demonstrate and commercialize them successfully. This paper reviews the operation results of the 1st and 2nd years when the State-Gate was introduced and analyzes the opinions of an R&D management agency, research institutes, and gate reviewers to present the supplementary and improvements for applying to the evaluation process for the next year. When operating the Stage-Gate by optimizing the situation for each project and being wary of inefficiencies caused by the rigid operation, it is expected that flexible evaluation for each outcome will be possible according to the convergence characteristics of smart cities.
Most of the important visual information is presented to driver through the display panel that is related to the vehicle. If display panel is designed with the c consideration of driver's visibility, drivers can get broad visual field and visual I information related to vehicle promptly and exactly during driving situation. Therefore display panel has direct relationship with the driver's task performance and it can be considered as an important device that affects the driver-automotive interaction. Many r researches about shape, characteristic and color of display panel have been performed, but not sufficient in this country Nowadays most of vehicles has an analog type display. but its shape and arrangement a are various without any definite standards about position. Therefore. experiments using evaluation tool (VISVEC System) were conducted to inquire the driver's preference on the major objects arrangement of display panel (speedometer. tachometer. fuel meter. and t thermometer) and to ascertain the factors that have an effect on drivers according to the objects position of the display panel The experiment results showed that there was no correlation between the arrangement c characteristics preferred by subjects and the cognitive accuracy but the cognition of V visual information more easy when the each major object has its area.
Objectives : The purpose of this study was to explore the perceptions of health promotion programmes using traditional Korean medicine among public health centre staff in charge of running such programmes. To do so, we examined and analysed the current situation of implementing the programmes in the public health centre. Methods : A survey was designed to collect information on perception of the health promotion programmes using traditional Korean medicine by public health centre staff in charge of running such programmes. The survey, using a structured questionnaire designed for this study, was conducted on 161 public health centre staff attending an annual meeting to presenting the results of activity evaluation related to public health programmes using traditional Korean medicine in public health centres. The participants were asked about the most successful programme, the benefits of the programmes, the positive aspects of the programmes, the most desirable outcomes of the programmes and so on. The data were analysed using SPSS system 12.0 for Windows. Results : Of the 161 questionnaires, 121 were analysed. The main findings of this research were as follows. Of the health promotion programmes using traditional Korean medicine implemented in public health centres, qigong and stroke preventive health promotion programmes were perceived as the most successful. The major benefits of the programmes were having merit for health promotion and expecting a positive performance outcome. The major positive aspects of the programmes for health promotion were cultivating community citizen's support and showing consistency between the philosophy of the programmes and the direction of existing health promotion programmes. The most desirable outcomes of the programmes were spreading community understanding of the programme and establishing an effective and unique health promotion model for implementing the programme. Two major causes of implementation difficulties were lack of material resources such as manpower, facility, and equipment, and methods of performance evaluation. One of the most urgent needs for activating the implementation of programmes was continuing financial and technical support from the central government. Conclusions : To promote the role of traditional Korean medicine in the public health sector in order to integrate traditional medicine into the public health system, government should develop some measures for solving the identified causes of implementation difficulties and coping with the most urgent needs for activating the implementation of programmes.

A variety of creative convergence education studies have been conducted around the world, but the study of creative convergence education based on problem-oriented learning is insignificant. STEAM education development research for engineering human resources also recognizes important factors like ethics awareness and consideration, cooperation, leadership, and communication skills. This study developed a model of interdisciplinary classes between marketing and commercial English classes as a way to effectively learn to cultivate the creative and fusion talents required by modern society. A model was developed for the process of convergence classes to be developed for evaluation after class by designing courses, selecting subjects, designing classes, drawing questions, and developing problems, as well as for discussion of pre-convergence courses, class performance, and class evaluation. The Mongolian university discussed in this paper plans to introduce a suitable educational environment by developing a problem for interdisciplinary classes in marketing and business English. Based on the need to nurture talent required by the rapidly changing knowledge-based society, Mongolian universities should continue the strategy of fostering creative convergence talent through the convergence of technology. This is because creativity is the most important thing in the current situation.
