CRESST 형성평가 프로그램(PowerSource(c))의 효과성 - 중학교 1학년 대수 관련 내용을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Effectiveness of Formative Assessment Program in CRESST Focused on the Algebra Domain in the 7th Grade)

  • 미 연방정부 교육부로부터 재정지원을 받고 있는 평가 기준 검사 전문연구센터인 CRESST(The National Center for Research on Evaluation, Standards, and Student Testing at UCLA)에서는 지속적인 형성평가 실시에 따른 결과 반영을 통하여 교사의 수업 개선과 학생의 내용 숙달을 지원하고, 투입한 형성평가 프로그램의 교육 효과성을 검증하고자 하는 5년 일정(2007년~2011년)의 장기적 연구를 수행 중에 있다. 이를 위하여, 일차년도인 2007년에 대수 영역의 내용을 중심으로 중학교 1학년 자료를 개발하였으며, 개발한 자료를 그 해 7월부터 우리나라와 공유하면서 본격적으로 공동 연구가 착수되었다. 이차년도인 2008년도에는, 2009년의 본 연구에 앞서 사전적 의미에서의 연구가 실시되었다. 본 논문에서는 CRESST의 PowerSource(c) 프로그램을 토대로, 우리나라 중학교 1학년 학생들을 대상으로 하는 대수 영역 성취도를 분석하고, 해당 프로그램의 활용에 대한 교사와 학생의 반응을 탐색하고자 하였다.

도서관 이용교육 효과의 집단별 차이에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Bibliographic Instruction with Reference to the Effectiveness Differences among College Student Groups)

  • The study attempted to determine if the effectiveness of bibliographic 'instruction would be different among student groups, divided by grade levels, major areas of study, and the level of library skills posessed before the instruction. The focal point of the investigation was the degree of improvement demonstrated by the changes in mean score of each group after taking bibliographic instruction. Sangmyong Women's University students who have taken the bibliographic instruction course for credit were the subjects of the study. Students' library skills were measured prior to the bibliographic instruction and post-test was followed. And the measured was based on the 'Library skills Test' developed by the Illinois Association of College and Research Libraries. Three hypotheses in the study were tested statistically by ANOVA. The followings are the results of the analysis: (1) There were no significant differences in bibliographic instruction effectiveness among student groups divided by grade levels; (2) There were significant differences (p<.01) in bibliographic instruction effectiveness among student groups divided by major areas of study. Bibliographic instruction was more effective for humanities or social sciences majors than for performing arts or physical education majors; (3) There were significant differences (p<.001) in bibliographic instruction effectiveness among student groups divided by the initial library skills. Obviously, bibliographic instruction was more effective for the students in bottom quartile than those in top quartile or middle quartiles. Finally, limitations of the study, recommendations based on the results and area for future research are briefly examined.

방문요양서비스 기관 평가의 효과성 : 이용자 관점에서 (Effectiveness of Evaluation for Visiting Care Service Institution: From the User's Point of View)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 이용자의 관점에서 노인장기요양보험 방문요양서비스 기관 평가의 효과성을 확인하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 전라북도 내 지역별(14개 시·군) 할당표집을 통해 수집한 이용자(266명) 설문자료와 기관(47개) 자료를 결합하여 다층모형으로 분석하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 5개 평가영역 중 이용자에게 권리의식을 갖게하고, 이용자를 존중하는지에 대한 '권리·책임' 영역의 점수가 높을수록 서비스 품질과 만족도도 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 5개 평가영역 중 '권리·책임' 영역과 '급여제공결과' 영역이 충성도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, '기관운영', '환경·안전', '급여제공과정' 영역은 서비스 품질, 만족도, 충성도에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 형식적이고 정량적인 평가지표보다는 이용자가 인식할 수 있고, 방문요양서비스의 기본 목적에 충실한 내용으로 평가지표를 재구성할 것 등을 제안하였다.

국내 도로 환경에 특화된 자율주행을 위한 멀티카메라 데이터 셋 구축 및 유효성 검증 (Construction and Effectiveness Evaluation of Multi Camera Dataset Specialized for Autonomous Driving in Domestic Road Environment)

  • Along with the advancement of deep learning technology, securing high-quality dataset for verification of developed technology is emerging as an important issue, and developing robust deep learning models to the domestic road environment is focused by many research groups. Especially, unlike expressways and automobile-only roads, in the complex city driving environment, various dynamic objects such as motorbikes, electric kickboards, large buses/truck, freight cars, pedestrians, and traffic lights are mixed in city road. In this paper, we built our dataset through multi camera-based processing (collection, refinement, and annotation) including the various objects in the city road and estimated quality and validity of our dataset by using YOLO-based model in object detection. Then, quantitative evaluation of our dataset is performed by comparing with the public dataset and qualitative evaluation of it is performed by comparing with experiment results using open platform. We generated our 2D dataset based on annotation rules of KITTI/COCO dataset, and compared the performance with the public dataset using the evaluation rules of KITTI/COCO dataset. As a result of comparison with public dataset, our dataset shows about 3 to 53% higher performance and thus the effectiveness of our dataset was validated.

  • Demand for manpower of conducting pharmaco-economic evaluation was investigated. The priority order of conducting economic evaluation on the already listed drugs was set by the budget impact for health insurance by the therapeutic groups. Manpower demand was estimated by the Anatomical, Therapeutical, Chemical (ATC) code. The total number of economic evaluation on the already listed drugs is estimated to be 346 cases. Based on these numbers, at least 53${\sim}$102 of full-time-equivalent (FTE) manpower is needed for conducting economic evaluation per year in the following 5 years.

  • 소프트웨어 교육의 관심이 커짐에 따라 교육부에서 필수로 초등 5~6학년 실과에 소프트웨어 교육을 진행하도록 하였다. 이 연구에서는 학습자 중심 평가를 소프트웨어 교육에 적용하여 그 효과성을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 많은 교사가 학교 현장에서 소프트웨어 교육에 학습자 중심 평가를 적용하여 좀 더 효과적인 소프트웨어 교육이 되었으면 한다. 학습자 중심 평가에서는 학생들이 능동적으로 수업에 참여하고 적극적인 학습 활동을 함으로써 긍정적인 효과를 기대할 수 있다. 학습자 중심 평가를 통해 여러 배경 변수를 고려하여 학생들의 3가지 측면, 창의력, 문제해결력, 정보 활용 능력이 어떻게 변화하는지 확인하고, 소프트웨어 교육에서 학습자 중심 평가가 이 능력들에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 확인하였다. 연구 결과, 소프트웨어 교육에서 학습자 중심 평가가 창의력, 문제해결력, 정보 활용 능력에 모두 유의미한 효과가 있었고 엔트리/스크래치 공부 경험의 유무 또한 이에 영향을 주었다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

SERVPERF 모형을 응용한 학교 조명 품질 만족도 평가 (Evaluation on the Satisfaction of School Illumination Quality by Applying SERVPERF Model)

  • This study addresses the evaluation on the satisfaction of school illumination quality by applying SERVPERF model after extracting factors affecting school illumination quality. Three types of illumination systems (fluorescence light, general LED light and high color rendition LED light) were tested by students who have used each illumination system. Three factors such as effectiveness, esthetic sense and function were developed for evaluation. Satisfaction evaluation was performed based on applied SERVPERF model by comparing perceived levels. The differences of perceived levels of satisfaction on the illumination systems were analyzed by ANOVA. The results said respondents satisfy only the high color rendition LED light regardless of three factors. Especially, students who experienced high color rendition LED light have strong intention to recommend that illumination system to other schools. They also express their desire to use that system at home. Interestingly, there is not much satisfaction difference between fluorescence light and general LED light.

메타분석을 이용한 임상영양서비스의 비용-효과성 평가 (Evaluation of Cost-Effectiveness of Medical Nutrition Therapy : Meta-Analysis)

  • Objectives: A meta-analysis of the literatures was conducted to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of medical nutrition therapy by dietitians. Methods : The 30 studies were identified from a computerized search of published research on MEDLINE, Science-Direct and the PQD database until May, 2002 and a review of reference lists. The main search terms were“dietitian”,“dietary intervention”,“nutrition intervention”, “cost”,“cost-effectiveness”and“cost-benefit analysis”. The subgroup analysis was performed by publication year, study design, intervention provider, type of patient (in/out-patient) and type of cost (total cost/direct cost). Two reviewers independently selected trials for inclusion, assessed the quality and extracted the data. Results : The 30 studies were identified using the electric database search and bibliographies. The 17 trials were eligible for inclusion criteria, then the systematic review and a meta-analysis were conducted on effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of medical nutrition therapy. The quality of the studies was evaluated using the quality assessment tool for observational studies. The quality score was 0.515 $\pm$ 0.121 (range : 0.279-0.711, median : 0.466). The meta-analysis of 17 studies based on the random effect model showed that medical nutrition therapy was highly effective in treating the diseases (effect size 0.3092 : 95% confidence interval 0.2282-0.3303). The vote-counting method, one of meta-analysis methods, was applied to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of medical nutrition therapy conducted by dietitians. Two criteria (method 1, method 2) for voting were used. The calculated p-values for method 1 (more conservative method) and method 2 (less conservative method) were 0.1250 and 0.0106, respectively. Medical nutrition therapy by dietitians was significantly cost-effective in the method 2. Conclusion. This meta-analysis showed that the effectiveness of medical nutrition therapy was statistically significant in treating disease (effect size 0.3092), and that the cost-effectiveness of medical nutrition therapy was statistically significant in the method 2 (less conservative method) of vote counting. 경북지역 해삼 종묘방류사업의 경제적 효과 분석 (Analyzing Economic Effectiveness of the Sea Cucumber Seed Releasing Program in Gyeongsangbuk-do Region)

  • This study is aimed to analyze economic effectiveness of the sea cucumber seed releasing program in Gyeongsangbuk-do region. Based on the surveyed data, the production value of released sea cucumber and the seed releasing program cost are estimated and compared to determine the economic validity of the sea cucumber seed releasing program. Results show that the B/C ratio, as an indicator of economic evaluation, is 2.0, indicating that the sea cucumber seed releasing program in Gyeongsangbuk-do region would be economically feasible under the current production and market conditions. Sensitivity analyses of main variables indicate that the economic effectiveness can be increased when the recapture rate would be increased and the seed price of sea cucumber would be decreased.
