Sensation and sensibility of polyester fabrics (폴리에스테르 직물에 대한 인간 감각\ulcorner감성의 분석)

  • 본 연구에서는 고감성 의류상품 개발을 위한 기초 자료들 제공하기 위해 폴리에스테르 직물에 대한 감각·감성을 1, 2단계로 나누어 분석하였다. 1단계에서는 얇은 여성 외의용 폴리에스테르 24종을 사용하여 감성측정에 영향을 미치는 제요인에 대해 검토하였다. 즉, 감각·감성측정시 기준직물과 그 평가치 제시 유무, 제시방법(blind/ open eye test), 환경과 직물 종류에 따른 효과를 조사하였다. 2단계에서는 1단계의 결과를 토대로 폴리에스테르 10종을 이용하여 환경에 따른 감각·감성과 물성 변인간 관계를 규명하였다. 1. 1단계의 연구결과, 기준직물 제시유무에 따라 감각·감성에 부분적으로 차이가 있었다. 유색직물의 평가시에는 blind/open eye test에 따라서 몇가지 평가용어를 제외하면 전반적으로 직물의 색에 따른 감각.감성에 유의차가 없었다. 2. 감각용어에 대한 요인분석 결과, 표준환경에서 1요인으로 두께, 무게(두껍다. 폭신폭신하다. 가볍다), 2요인으로 표면특성(매끄럽다. 부드럽다. 오돌도돌하다.), 3요인으로 강연성(뻣뻣하다. 보송보송하다)이 추출되었다. 고온다습환경에서도 유사한 결과였다. 3. 환경 효과는 고온다습환경에서 표준환경에서보다 더 눅눅하게, 덜 보송보송하게, 덜 차게 감지하는 것으로 나타났다. 직물의 효과는 모든 용어에서, 환경과 직물의 상호작용효과는 (차다. 보송보송하다. 뻣뻣하다. 하늘하늘하다. 촉감이 졸다.)에서 유의차가 나타났다. 4. 여러 통계기법에 의해 감각·감성 및 물성변인을 분석하여 종합한 결과, 표준환경에서 감성과 관련높은 용어는 (하늘하늘하다), 물성은 SMD로, 고온다습환경에서 감성과 관련 높은 용어는 (보송보송하다), 물성은 Contact area로 밝혀졌다. 폴리에스테르 직물에 대한 감성의 감각구조는 환경에 따라 상이하며 관련 물성 중 표면접촉특성은 환경에 관계없이 가장 중요한 변인으로 작용한다고 할 수 있다.었으며 또한 essential oil에서는 성별 차이가 없는데 반해 페르몬 향의 경우 성별의 차이를 나타내었다.. 방법을 타액과 혈청내 testosterone 농도 측정에 응용하여 RIA의 결과와 비교하여 본 바 상관관계가 타액에서 r=0.969, 혈청에서 r=0.990으로 두 결과가 잘 일치하였다. 본 실험에서 측정된 한국인 여성의 타액내 testosterone농도는 107.7$\pm$12.0 pmol/l이었고, 남성의 타액내 농도는 274.2$\pm$22.1 pmol/l이었다. 이상의 결과로 보아 본 연구에서 정립된 EIA 방법은 RIA를 대신하여 소규모의 실험실에서도 활용할 수 있을 것으로 사려된다.또한 상실기 이후 배아에서 합성되며, 발생시기에 따라 그 영향이 다르고 팽창과 부화에 관여하는 것으로 사료된다. 더욱이, 조선의 ${\ulcorner}$구성교육${\lrcorner}$이 조선총독부의 관리하에서 실행되었다는 것을, 당시의 사범학교를 중심으로 한 교육조직을 기술한 문헌에 의해 규명시켰다.nd of letter design which represents -natural objects and was popular at the time of Yukjo Dynasty, and there are some documents of that period left both in Japan and Korea. Search for Plant-originated Antibacterial Compounds Against Pathogen (Acidovorax avenae subsp. citrulli) of Watermelon Bacterial Fruit Blotch (수박 과실썩음병 병원균(Acidovorax avenae subsp. citrulli)에 대한 식물유래 항균 활성물질 탐색)

  • 133 Species of medicinal plants were used for the development of natural agrichemicals with anti-microbial activity against Acidovorax avenae subsp. citrulli, a pathogen of bacterial fruit blotch in watermelon. The MeOH-extracts of these medicinal plants were examined for anti-microbial activity by bioassay. The MeOH-extract of Citrus unshiu Markovich had the strongest antibacterial activity against Acidovorax avenae subsp. citrulli. To identify anti-microbial compounds from Citrus unshiu Markovich, solvent-fractionation was used. The fraction of hexane, which showing the highest value of anti-microbial activity, was analyzed by GC-MS. Each mass spectra, corresponding to each peak of chromatogram, was compared to mass database of Wiley library. As a result, d-Limonene, ${\gamma}$-terpinene, ${\beta}$-linalool, terpineol, palmitic acid, 9,12-octadecadienoic acid, Linolenic acid, and stigmasterol were identified. Among them, d-Limonene, ${\gamma}$-terpinene, ${\beta}$-linalool, and terpineol confirmed to be shown the anti-microbial activity by bioassay. Especially, d-Limonene and ${\gamma}$-terpinene found to have strong activity. In conclusion, we thought d-limonene and ${\gamma}$-terpinene from Citrus unshiu Markovich. Latin, had anti-microbial activity against Acidovorax avenae subsp. citrulli and could be candidates for the control agents for the control of bacterial fruit blotch in watermelon.

Studies on the Composition of Korean Mung Bean (Phaseolus aureus) (한국산녹두(韓國産綠豆)(Phaseolus aureus)의 성분(成分)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究))

  • The proximate compositions, fatty acids, and amino acids of mung bean(Phaseouls aureus) were determind: 1. The proximate compositions of mung bean were 24.80% crude protein, 4.75% crude fiber, 4.75% crude ash, 46.03% carbohydrate and 0.82% fat. 2. Saponification number, iodine number and non-saponifiable content of the lipids extracted from mung bean were 154.99, 117.05 and 14.83% respectively 3. The protein of mung bean was composed of glutamic acid (15.92%) and aspartic acid (12.09%) as major amino acids and considerable amounts of leucine (8.19%), arginine(7.31%) and pheylalanine (6.41%). The essential amino acid content including lysine(8.3%), threonine (3.5%) and tyrosine (2.83%) was higher than those of rice and barley which are deficient in those amino acids. 4. The lipids were composed of 35.5% linoleic acid, 15.5% linolenic acid and palmitic acid, 37% stearic acid, 5% oleic acid as major components, and 0.4% myristic acid, 1.0% arachidonic acid and 1.2% behenic acid as minor components. The saturated and unsaturated fatty acid ratio of oil extracted with di-ethyl ether from mung bean was $42{\sim}43/57{\sim}58%$.

Developmental Patterns of Glandular Trichomes in Leaves of Vitex negundo (좀목형 엽육 표피조직의 분비모 발달 양상)

  • Vitex negundo is an aromatic plant which releases a unique scent due to the presence of essential oil stored presumably within glandular trichomes. The focus of this research was to study developmental patterns of glandular trichomes in Vitex negundo leaves using electron microscopy. There are two types of glandular trichomes which develop on the leaf epidermis of Vitex negundo, peltate glandular type (PT) and capitate glandular type (CT). Structural features differ significantly depending on size and density, formation of secretory cavity, plastid, etc during developmental stages. In young leaves, undifferentiated PTs are densely distributed in the upper epidermis, but are not externally exposed in the lower epidermis because they are covered by non-glandular simple trichomes. Upon leaf development, PTs and CTs show clear structural differentiation in the upper and lower epidermis. PTs are composed of up to eight head cells (ca. 35~40 ${\mu}m$) and one stalk cell (ca. 5 ${\mu}m$), while CTs are composed of four head cells (ca. 10~15 ${\mu}m$) and 1~2 stalk cells (ca. 10 ${\mu}m$). Although secretory cavities develop on the secretory head cells, their size, structure, and formation proceed very differently depending on trichome type. In early development of PT, a large cavity with numerous secretory vesicles form rapidly from the head cells. In CT, however, only a small secretory cavity is formed, slowly relative to PT, without secretory vesicles. The PTs are considered to play an important role in releasing the aromatic components of Vitex negundo.

The Effects of Sesame Seed Roasting Conditions on Volatile Component Patterns of Essential Oils Obtained from Sesame Meals (참깨의 볶음조건이 참깨박 정유성분의 휘발성 성분 패턴에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, sesame oils and sesame meals(A, B) were obtained from roasted sesame at $200^{\circ}C$ and $220^{\circ}C$, respectively. The total volatile component(VC) contents of these samples(A, B) were as follows : The sesame oils had 1,397.1 ppm and 1,518.8 ppm, and the sesame meals had 663.2 ppm and 775.3 ppm for samples A and B, respectively : sesame flavor was16,507.9 ppm, The major VCs in the sesame oils were pentane, 2-butanone, pyrazine, methylpyrazine, 2,5- and 2,6-dimethyl pyrazine, furfuryl alcohol, guaiacol and 4-vinylguaiacol. The pyrazine contents of the seasame oils were 834.4 ppm and 816.4 ppm for samples A and B, respectively. The major VCs in the sesame meals were 2-butanone, hexanal, pyrazine, methyl pyrazine, 2,6-dimethyl pyrazine, furfuryl alcohol, and so forth. For artificial sesame flavor, the total VC content was 16,507.9 ppm, and the major VCs were 2-butanone, guaiacol, and 4-vinylguaiacol. Approximately 35.02% of the total VC content of sesame flavor was composed of 2-butanone, guaiacol, and 4-vinylguaiacol, and these constituted more than 1,000 ppm of its total VC content.

Effects of Wild Plant's Fermented Extracts and Herbal Essential Oil on Barley Seed Germination (산야초 발효추출물과 허브 정유가 보리 종자 발아에 미치는 영향)

  • 본 연구는 4종의 산야초 추출물(개느삼, 엄나무, 참취, 60가지 산야초혼합 - 모두 원 식물재료를 설탕과 혼합하여 추출한 발효추출물을 15년 숙성시킨 원액의 3% 수용액으로 처리)과 8종의 허브 정유(베르가모트, 클라리세이지, 휀넬, 제라니움, 마조람, 타임, 로즈우드, 스페어민트 원액의 0.3% 농도로 처리) 및 2종의 호르몬(지베렐린, 카이네틴, 0.3%)을 2종의 보리종자(1998년산 새올보리, 2016년산 찰쌀보리) 발아율 향상에 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고자 수행하였다. 특히 새올보리 묵은 종자의 발아력 증진에 효과가 있는지 알아볼 목적으로 수행하였다. 묵은 종자 새올보리의 무처리구에서 8%와 43%의 낮은 발아세와 발아율을 보인 반면, 산야초 추출물 처리구에서 84~93%와 86~100%의 높은 발아세와 발아율을 보였다. 호르몬처리구는 새올보리에서 발아세와 발아율은 각각 43~87%와 55~95%였다. 또한, 찰쌀보리의 경우 무처리의 발아세와 발아율은 각각 54%와 91%였다. 반면, 산야초 추출물 처리구에서 92~100%의 발아세와 95~100%의 높은 발아율을 보였고, 호르몬 처리구에서는 각각 77~85%와 87%의 발아세와 발아율을 보였다. 무처리(증류수)와 2종의 호르몬 및 8종의 허브 정유에 비해 산야초 추출물의 발아 증진 효과가 현저하게 높았다. 특히 냉장고($4^{\circ}C$)에서 20년 보관한 묵은 보리종자에 대해서도 유의한 발아율 향상을 보였다. 정유는 대체로 발아를 억제하는 것으로 나타나 잡초 종자에 대한 발아억제(제초제 대용) 가능성을 시사한다.

  • Airline business operates in the 21st century within fast changing market environment and fierce competition. Management of airline companies has faced the need for vast adaptation to new trends in the growth of world economy that are cardinal changes in marketing environment due to quick development of Internet and IT, transport price competition and, as a consequence, low profit margin, diversified customer wants and needs, lack of investment needed for new aircraft equipped with the latest high tech innovations, unpredictable oil price changes, and exchange rate fluctuations. This study is aimed to evaluate the quality performance of cabin service, to analyse, further, the issues that appeared to be the most significant among customers' answers to questionnaire, to explore the relationships between these issues and customer satisfaction, to highlight the essential questions to address, and to provide some practical suggestions. The five dimensions (such as tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy) were adopted to examine the relationship between the service quality and customer satisfaction of Mongolian and non-Mongolian passengers travelling by the MIAT. According to findings of analysis made with use of the SERVPERF model, it can be concluded that Mongolian travellers' satisfaction was effected by 'Tangible' and 'Responsiveness' dimensions of service quality, whereas the 'Empathy' dimension has more impact on the satisfaction of non-Mongolian.

Effect of Extraction Solvent on Volatile Compounds of Garlic Oleoresin (마늘 Oleoresin 제조시 휘발성성분에 관한 추출용매효과)

  • Garlic oleoresins were made by extracting with four solvents of methanol, methyl acetate hexane and acetone from chopped garlic, respectively, and the volatile compounds of each extract were separated by gas chromatography installed with polar (supelcowax-10$^{TM}$) and nonpolar (HP-5) capillary columns, respectively, and identified by matching mass data of mass selective detector and Kovat\`s retention index with references. The numbers of the volatile compounds identified the garlic oleoresin by polar and nonpolar columns from in garlic oleoresins were 41 and 32, respectively. In polar column, 13 pyrans, 11 sulfur-containing compounds 6 furans 2 alcohols and 2 heterocyclic compounds were identified. In nonpolar column, 11 sulfur-containing compounds 5 acids 3 furans and eugenol were identified. The major sulfur-containing compounds identified from the oleoresins were 3, 3'-thiobis-1-propene, methyl 2-propenyl disulfide, dimethyl trisulfide, di-2-prnpenyl-trisulfide, 2-thiophenecarboxylic acid. The amount of these sulfur-containing compounds isolated from the oleresins were more abundant in polar column than in nonpolar column. The most efficient solvent for extracting volatile compounds of garlic was methanol but the most useful solvent for extracting sulfur-containing compounds was methyl acetate of less polarity.y.

Characteristics of Mixed Tea Prepared with Several Herbs Cultivated in Korea (한국산 허브를 이용한 혼합 침출차 가공특성)

  • Herbs are widely used as a source of tea and otherwise such as botanical medicine, essential oil for perfumes, cosmetics, and food spices. This study was carried out to investigate the characteristics of herb tea prepared with lavender, rosemary, mint, thyme and sage cultivated in korea. Approximate composition were as follows : crude protein 1.4∼17.5%, crude fat 6.1∼15.8%, sugars 43.5∼61s%, crude ash 7.7∼10.7%. Minerals contents of Ca ranged 707∼1763mg%, P 234 ∼513mg%, K 2,391∼3,430mg%, and Mg 361∼573mg%. Vitamins were $\beta$ -Carotene 6.9∼27.7mg%, B$_1$, 0.34∼0.62mg%, B$_2$1.37 ∼2.52mg%, niacin 5.3∼8.8mg%, and C 102∼111mg%. The changes of chromaticity a and b, pH, and sugar content of the herb tea at the different temperatures were decreased 80$\^{C}$ and 100$\^{C}$ in comparison to 60$\^{C}$ but increased chromaticity L. In the result of sensory test of the processed herb tea was more preferred than the market goods.

Ginsenoside Rg1 suppresses early stage of adipocyte development via activation of C/EBP homologous protein-10 in 3T3-L1 and attenuates fat accumulation in high fat diet-induced obese zebrafish

  • Background: Ginsenoside Rg1 is a class of steroid glycoside and triterpene saponin in Panax ginseng. Many studies suggest that Rg1 suppresses adipocyte differentiation in 3T3-L1. However, the detail molecular mechanism of Rg1 on adipogenesis in 3T3-L1 is still not fully understood. Methods: 3T3-L1 preadipocyte was used to evaluate the effect of Rg1 on adipocyte development in the differentiation in a stage-dependent manner in vitro. Oil Red O staining and Nile red staining were conducted to measure intracellular lipid accumulation and superoxide production, respectively. We analyzed the protein expression using Western blot in vitro. The zebrafish model was used to investigate whether Rg1 suppresses the early stage of fat accumulation in vivo. Results: Rg1 decreased lipid accumulation in early-stage differentiation of 3T3-L1 compared with intermediate and later stages of adipocyte differentiation. Rg1 dramatically increased CAAT/enhancer binding protein (C/EBP) homologous protein-10 (CHOP10) and subsequently reduced the $C/EBP{\beta}$ transcriptional activity that prohibited the initiation of adipogenic marker expression as well as triglyceride synthase. Rg1 decreased the expression of extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 and glycogen synthase kinase $3{\beta}$, which are also essential for stimulating the expression of $CEBP{\beta}$. Rg1 also reduced reactive oxygen species production because of the downregulated protein level of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate hydrogen (NADPH) oxidase 4 (NOX4). While Rg1 increased the endogenous antioxidant enzymes, it also dramatically decreased the accumulation of lipid and triglyceride in high fat diet-induced obese zebrafish. Conclusion: We demonstrated that Rg1 suppresses early-stage differentiation via the activation of CHOP10 and attenuates fat accumulation in vivo. These results indicate that Rg1 might have the potential to reduce body fat accumulation in the early stage of obesity.
