ERP is the general trend of industrial information system and many companies are introducing strategically to strengthen the competitive power. This paper analyzes the efficiency of introducing companies of ERP system using DEA model. We also suggest the introducing of ERP system which can be benchmarked based on analyzed information. We evaluate the CCR, BCC efficiency and RTS of 38 introducing companies of ERP system. The result shows that three enterprises whose values of CCR efficiency are 1, and seven enterprises whose values of BCC efficiency are 1. RTS indicates IRS of 22 companies. DRS of 2 companies and CRS of 4 companies.

본 연구의 목적은 ERP시스템의 성공요인들을 분석하고 기존기업에서 도입한 ERP시스템을 새로운 조직에 도입을 하게 될 경우 조직의 문화와 조직의 규모에 따른 성과변수가 무엇인지를 알아보기 위한 연구이다. 동일한 IT를 받아들이는데도 조직의 성과에 차이가 있는 것은 조직의 특성과 IT의 특성이 적합성(fit)을 가질 때 최고의 성과가 난다는 것을 유추해 볼 수 있다. 그러므로 ERP 시스템과 같은 정보기술을 도입하는데 있어서 조직의 문화와 조직의 규모에 따라서 우선시 되는 성공요인이 달라질 것이다. 본 연구의 결과 조직의 문화와 규모에 따라 적합한 성공요인의 우선순위가 달라지는 것을 확인하였다.

XML/EDI provides a way to connect legacy systems(ERPs) : When a XML/EDI system sends a message, the message contents come from the legacy system. Likewise, when a ERP receiving a message, important parts are stored in the legacy system. RosettaNet has become a strong tool to connect ERPs as RosettaNet has become a promising standard for XML/EDI. In this paper, a prototype using PIP 3A4(Order Management) of the RosettaNet is implemented to show how the standard could be used for the connection of ERPs.

Rapid business and technology changes drive many organizations to seek better solutions and many of them believe that Information Technology is an essential tool to cope with turbulent environment. Companies began to think ERP system as an effective alternative for IT-based process innovation and integrated information system. But each ERP system has a specific business model and technical structure, unlike in-house developed systems. Moreover implementation of ERP system accompanies transformation of business processes at company level including radical changes in information technology. Therefore, to implement ERP system successfully appropriate and careful selection of ERP system which is adequate for company's objectives and environment must be considered. In this research, four types of changes expected by ERP implementation were suggested. Each type of changes was determined by desired level of changes in business process and information technology.

The competitiveness of a corporate has always been an endeavor factor in the field of Business Management and with introduction of computer, various system; Decision Support System. Executive Information System. Management Information System has dramatically improved the competitiveness. According to the environmental change, organizational complexity. rapid information technology development. it is accelerated to introduce the Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) System. ERP System is considered as an important tool for management innovation. Korean enterprises have been adopting ERP to reinforce competitive power and to realize global standardization in recent years. This study on the performance of ERP Systems is designed to take a look at the importance, outcome factors of information system, the quality measurement of the information system, and breaking the quality of the information system into system quality, information quality.

ERP is the Enterprise Resource Planning System developed from MRP aiming at effective management of the manufacture material. Until recently, the part of ERP solution has been led by domestic solution company. But, as foreign solution companies go into developing ERP solution, Korea became a battle ground of ERP solution. This situation requires the effort for quality improvement. The main theme of this study is development of quality measurement method of ERP system about construction field. We developed the method of quality characteristics system and quality measurement metrics, and proposed an effective evaluating method by application case. We expect that this study is a great help in measuring the construction part ERP system through the application about quality measurement.

Recently implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems with packaged business software is growing rapidly. The purpose of this article is to provide further insights into the business process change and change management in implementation process of ERP systems. This paper examine an survey of some 146 firms' adoption and implementation of packaged ERP software. In this paper, we propose an integrated approach of business process change and change management of the implementation process. This research highlights the importance of change management for implementing ERP. In addition, we empirically reveals that the eventual success of ERP systems depends on effective business process change and change management during the ERP implementation.

현대의 기업조직들은 역동적 경영환경변화에 직면하고 있다. 이러한 변화에 적응하기 위한 수단으로서, 많은 기업들이 정보기술의 도입을 적극적으로 고려하고 있다. 1990년대 중반에 등장한 ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning: 전사적 자원관리)는 이러한 정보기술의 대표적인 것으로 통합된 데이터베이스에 기초하여 기업의 연계된 업무기능을 지원하는 시스템이다. ERP시스템은 효용 및 효과 대비면에서 많은 장점을 가지고 있기 때문에 현재 우리나라의 많은 기업들이 ERP시스템을 도입하고 있다. ERP에 대한 기존의 연구들은 주로 ERP 도입 성공요소에 관한 내용이 주류를 이룬다. 그러나 이러한 주요성공요소들은 주로 시스템 개발과정의 특성만을 포함하곤 주요성공요소를 몇 개의 범주로 묶어 제시하는데 그 초점을 두고 있기 때문에, 이들 주요성공요소 간에 존재하는 상호영향관계를 충분히 반영하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 ERP CSF(Critical Success Factor : 주요성공요소)간에 존재하는 상호영향관계, 그리고 그러한 영향관계가 전체 ERP 성과에 어떤 효과를 가져다 주는가에 대한 총체적인 상호작용에 관한 연구가 부족하기 때문에, 이를 분석하고자 했다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. ERP 주요성공요소 간에 존재하는 복잡한 상호영향관계를 실증분석을 통하여 측정하여 이들 간에 상호영향관계 및 선행관계가 있다는 것을 밝혀내었다. 다만, 일반적으로 BPR로 인하여 조직이 많이 변화하면 변화에 대한 사용자의 적응은 떨어질 것으로 생각되지만, 본 연구에서는 이들의 관계는 없는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 조직이 얼마나 많이 변화하였는가보다는 변화관리가 사용자가 적응하는데 더 많이 영향을 미친다고 나타나고 있다. 결국 BPR의 정도 또한 변화관리를 통해서는 사용자의 적응에 간접적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

The purpose of this research is to understand, through a case study, how the flexibility of Headquarter(HQ) and subsidiaries makes an effect on performance of global ERP system implementation in a global firm. The questions of this research are as follows. First, what types of flexibility are there for HQ and Subsidiary, respectively, which are related with global ERP system implementation? Second, how much impact do these types of flexibility have on the performance of global ERP system implementation? This research suggests three types of flexibility for HQ and three types of flexibility for subsidiaries that are related with the global ERP system implementation. In this study, BorgWarner, a global automobile parts manufacturer, was selected and analyzed to find out what kinds of flexibility contributed to enhancing its global ERP system implementation performance.

21세기 제조기업의 경쟁력 향상을 위한 당면 과제로 대두되고 있는 CALS는 선진국을 중심으로 새로운 정보화 수단으로 확산되고 있다. CALS는 기업의 모든 생산활동을 광속으로 연결하는 통합정보시스템이며, ERP는 CALS 구현에 있어서 핵심부분으로 각 기업은 MRP를 포함한 여러 경영관리 시스템이 독립적으로 운영되는데 따른 프로세스간 정보의 단절을 배제하기 위해 수요 예측에서부터 생산, 출하에 이르기까지 기업활동 전반을 통합된 시스템 내에서 수행할 수 있는 생산정보시스템이다. 그러나 일반적으로 ERP시스템 구축에는 많은 자본이 소요되기 때문에 기업은 자체 개발 보다는 전사적인 관리기능을 패키지 형태로 통합한 ERP를 도입하는 실정이며 국내에서도 ERP패키지 개발을 진행중이나 실용화되기에는 다소 시간이 걸릴 것으로 생각된다. 본 연구에서는 CIM과 CALS의 개념, CIM과 CALS의 관계, ERP의 개념을 설명하고 마지막으로 CALS 구현을 위한 ERP모형을 제시하고자 한다.
