대체에너지를 이용한 국·내외 가로시설물 개발 유형 분석 (Analysis of Development Situation of Korean and Foreign Street Furnitures Using Alternative Energy)

  • These days, the use of alternative energy is recognized as one of countermeasures to rising oil prices and climate-change agreements. Especially, it is regarded as a main element to realize 'Low-Carbon Green Growth', one of the key policies of MB government. However, though alternative energy, renewable energy, is a main policy issue of the present administration, there are many problems to solve: the lack of recognition of its energy, the low level of its technology, its expert's shortage, and its limited application fields. Therefore, to stimulate the use of alternative energy in Korea and to change the recognition of this energy, it is needed to utilize it to urban street furniture that many people visit and use. In particular, if alternative energy is first applied to street furniture that needs energy for its management, the effect of publicity and energy saving will be so great. In this study, for the basic research to introduce and promote various alternative energy sources such as solar power, wind power, small hydro power, and human power, we analyzed the present condition of development of Korean and foreign street furniture items. Furthermore, we evaluated the level of development of these street furniture products and the design types of them and from these evaluations suggested the design direction that can solve problems in development and improve the possibility of application of these energy sources to these street furniture items. Through these analyses, this study aims to enhance the image of future environment-friendly city and make new index for the application of alternative energy.

The effect of wollastonite powder with pozzolan micro silica in conventional concrete containing recycled aggregate

  • Construction development and greenhouse gas emissions have globally required a strategic management to take some steps to stain and maintain the environment. Nowadays, recycled aggregates, in particular ceramic waste, have been widely used in concrete structures due to the economic and environmentally friendly solution, requiring the knowledge of recycled concrete. Also, one of the materials used as a substitute for concrete cement is wollastonite mineral to decrease carbon dioxide (CO2) from the cement production process by reducing the concrete consumption in concrete. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of wollastonite on the mechanical properties and durability of conventional composite concrete, containing recycled aggregates such as compressive strength, tensile strength (Brazilian test), and durability to acidic environment. On the other hand, in order to determine the strength and durability of the concrete, 5 mixing designs including different wollastonite values and recovered aggregates including constant values have been compared to the water - cement ratio (w/c) constant in all designs. The experimental results have shown that design 5 (containing 40% wollastonite) shows only 6.1% decrease in compressive strength and 4.9% decrease in tensile strength compared to the control plane. Consequently, the use of wollastonite powder to the manufacturing of conventional structural concrete containing recycled ceramic aggregates, in addition to improving some of the properties of concrete are environmentally friendly solutions, providing natural recycling of materials.

건설관리 사업의 생태 보전 및 복원 전략 - 댐사업을 중심으로 - (Ecological Conservation and Restoration Strategies on Construction and Management Projects - Focused on Dam Projects -)

  • 본 연구에서는 건설 사업의 수행과정에서 나타날 수 있는 환경훼손을 최소화하거나 저감하고, 자연과의 조화를 이루기 위한 다양한 기술과 공법, 정책 및 제도를 도출하고자 하였으며, 구체적인 사례로 댐건설 사업에 대한 친환경 기술과 공법을 분석하였다. 이를 위해서 기존 연구사례 및 문헌을 고찰하여 친환경 요소를 도출하였고, 이미 조성되었거나 조성 중인 댐을 대상으로 실제 적용되고 있는 친환경 요소를 분석하였으며, 이를 종합하여 건설사업에 도입될 수 있는 친환경 항목을 설정하고 기술 및 공법을 제안하였다. 그 결과 생태계 보전, 생태계 복원, 새로운 생태계 조성, 친수환경 및 위락, 경관 및 역사문화 등이 친환경요소로 도출되었다. 또한 환경친화형 건설사업의 지속적인 추진과 성과를 위한 정부차원의 정책과 제도적 방안을 제안하였다. 이러한 적극적인 생태환경 보전 및 복원을 위한 노력이 지속적으로 이루어짐으로써 건설사업에 의한 환경파괴를 최소화하고 새로운 생태환경을 창출하는 친환경 건설의 대표적인 사례로 자리매김될 수 있으며, 나아가 건설 분야의 친찬경 사고 확산을 위한 근거가 될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • This paper expounds the development of a user-friendly expert system for the optimal stacking sequence design of composite laminates subjected to the various rules constraints. The expert system was realized in the graphic-based design environment. Therefore, users can access and use the system easily. The optimal stacking sequence is obtained by means of integration of a genetic algorithm, finite element analysis. These systems were integrated with the rules of design heuristics under an expert system shell. The optimal stacking sequence combination for the application of interest is drawn from the discrete ply angles and design rules stored in the knowledge base of the expert system. For the integration and management of softwares, a graphic-based design environment that provides multi-tasking and graphic user interface capability is built.

태양전지 이용을 위한 LED 조명 제어기 설계 (A Design of LED Lighting Controller for use of Solar Battery)

  • LED lighting because of high efficiency, long life, friendly environment, as a general lighting of the next generation, has been substituted for incandescent bulb and fluorescent lamp. The proposed system for use of solar battery is the intelligent controller for LED street lights which is improved the method of battery charging and charging efficiency in winter to extend battery life cycle, controlled lighting current according to SoC and in steps. Also, it is implemented emotional lighting which is controlled with the surrounding environment, by using colorful sub LED to take up 10[%] of a source of total light, white LED. As a lab results, the proposed system was implemented functions to adapt to the environmental changes, and improved the charging efficiency and battery life cycle.

  • With the enormous growth of the Internet, an increasing number of people in corporations use the Internet for communicating with the outside world, for gathering information, and for doing business. Internet technology may have its greatest impact not on general culture, but rather on corporations. It has already begun to revolutionize the way that companies operate and do business. When Internet technology is applied and used inside a corporation, and open only to its employees, it is referred to as an Intranet. The same technologies that underlie corporate Intranets form the basis of the larger Internet. The benefit of Intranet is 1) low construction cost 2) easy system management 3) friendly user interface 4) OS and H/W independent, etc. This paper provides the concept of Internet and Intranet, compares client/server and Intranet environment, and propose case study of implementation from client/server to Intranet environment.

  • Advances in interactive multimedia and Internet technologies present an array of options that allow the development of very effective training programs. Interactive training is the delivery and management of training using Internet. The trainee actively participates in the training/learning sessions by means of a user-friendly interface that empowers the participant with a sense of control over what they are teaming and the pace at which they are teaming. In this paper, we show process on the development of 3 dimensional e-learing system for Ubiqitous Environment using 3 dimensional supersonic sensor.

A Study on Securing Objectivity in Small-Scale Environmental Impact Assessments Using Delphi Analysis

  • Purpose: Since August 2000, the small-scale environmental impact assessment system has prevented indiscriminate development. However, its qualitative reports lack objectivity and consistency. This study analyzes these issues through literature and expert surveys and proposes improvements. Research Methodology: Samples were selected based on regional consultation numbers. Mitigation measures were categorized into qualitative and quantitative factors. Issues were identified, and improvements suggested. The Delphi method helped select evaluation items and propose a scoring table. Results and Conclusions: The Delphi method selected 14 absolute and 22 relative evaluation items, excluding 3 invalid ones. A 100-point scoring table was created, with points assigned based on element significance. A 1-point bonus was added for top-scoring elements to promote eco-friendly planning.

  • 스마트폰의 확산 보급에 따른 소셜미디어 환경이 본격화되고 원격근무등을 통한 시공간의 제약이 없는 업무 수행이 가능해 지면서 스마트워크의 성공적인 구현을 위한 활동이 해외 주요 정부 및 글로벌 기업들은 물론 한국 정부 및 국내 기업들에서도 적극적으로 전개 되고 있다. 한국은 일부 적극적인 선진 국가들에 비해 스마트 도입이 뒤졌으나 미래에는 과거 IT 선도국가로서의 위상에 맞게 스마트워크 분야에서도 이들 국가들을 앞지를수 있는 노력이 필요하다. 전통적인 스마트워크 1.0 에 비해 미래형 스마트워크 2.0은 앞으로 보다더 창의적이고 혁신적이고 인간친화적이고 자연친화적이다. 협력, 개방을 통해 외부 협력자들의 개입을 통한 역량 증진, 감성 감각등에 부합하므로서 생산성을 최대화 하는 일 방식을 의미한다. 본 연구에서는 미래적 스마트워크 환경에 맞는 경영모델들을 제시하며 이 연구가 빠르게 다가오고 있는 고도화되는 스마트워크 환경속에서 기업 및 정부 기관 경영에 대해 새로운 각도에서 되새겨 보는 계기가 되리라 기대한다.
