The objectives of this study were to investigate using environment-friendly agricultural products and to analyze consciousness of agricultural safety of consumers. The data were collected from 1,000 consumers by two-staged stratified random sampling. SPSSWIN/ver. 13 program was used for analyzing data with frequency, cross-tab, t-test and ANOVA. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1) Consumers with higher academic career, more income, and white collars showed higher experiences on environment-friendly agricultural products. 2) Consumers who are under thirties, university graduation and upper income revealed high intention to use environment-friendly agricultural products. 3) The study revealed information needs and information acquisition are significantly different among consumers 4) Consumers with higher academic and upper income showed higher agricultural safety concern, 5) The study discovered that consumers who are over sixties and under middle school graduation were higher on agricultural safety effects.
This study aimed to analyze the relative influence of related variables on the university students' civic consciousness. The study sorted out the data for 1,200 university students from a larger data set collected by Son et al.(2009), and analyzed the data by a hierarchical regression analysis method. The study showed the major results in four aspects. First, personal characteristics and home environment variables had mostly no influence on the students' civic consciousness. Second, on the sub categories of the students' civic consciousness, almost no influence was found in case of the home environment variables on democratic constitution and participation-practice, and in case of the school environment variables on value and attitude. Third, among the home and school variables, parents' attitude(${\beta}$=.228) and professors(${\beta}$=.162) had positive influences on the students' civic consciousness. The results suggest that parents and professors should be the two principal axises in the cultivating process of the students' civic consciousness. Third, on the democratic participation and practice no positive influences were found in any of the social environment variables. Among the social environment variables, politicians(${\beta}$=-.238) and corporations(${\beta}$=-.097) had rather negative influences on the democratic participation and practice. These results raised the question on how school education and social political systems are operated in the democratic manners. Fourth, the study recommends that local government would establish the civic education centers, develop various civic education programs, and provide each school with the programs. The study also recommends that each university would democratize in all the school affairs, and actively implement the civic education for university students as a specialized project.
Consumers' interests in the environment have been growing; hence, their consciousness about the environment has changed and affected their clothing shopping behavior. Prior study indicated attitude-behavior inconsistency in eco-friendly consumer behavior. It was because consumers' consciousness or attitude was often measured at an abstract level, not at a product specific level. This study investigated eco-friendly clothing knowledge, eco-friendly clothing consciousness, and ecological clothing consumption behavior. The effects of consumers' level of clothing involvement and subjective norms in this process were also investigated. For the empirical research, a questionnaire was developed, and responses from 480 women in their 20s to 50s were statistically analyzed. Results indicated that interest and fashion consciousness dimensions of clothing involvement had a significant influence on eco-friendly clothing knowledge, which thereby significantly influenced the three factors of eco-friendly clothing consciousness: social responsibility, health orientation, and clothing resource-saving consciousness. Such factors had different roles in the clothing consumption process. Social responsibility had a significant influence on the entire process of clothing consumption: shopping, purchasing, using, and disposing behaviors. Health orientation consciousness had a significant influence on shopping and purchasing behaviors, whereas resource-saving consciousness had a significant impact only on shopping behavior. Subjective norms were significantly correlated with all aspects of the clothing consumption process. Influence on disposing behavior was relatively weaker than other aspects of clothing consumption behavior.

The purpose of this research is to clarify the relation between environmental consciousness and railway usage behavior. Author would locate this research on position of basic survey to promote railway use according to Low Carbon Green Growth policy in Korea. In this research, we would perform descriptive analysis using data of research on the actual condition of railway use in 2008, Daegu, and describe its relationship. In addition, we would suggest some idea about policy which can promote railway use. The order of railway choice behavior noticed in clustering of environmental consciousness was cooperative behavior type, middle type and non-cooperative behavior type. It suggests that environmental consciousness has effect on transportation choice behavior. Specially, railway improvement isn't enough to promote railway use. And, it is advisable to carry out the improvement in such a way that it may encourage the nation to move from the current environmental consciousness stage to cooperative behavior. Moreover, we assumed Binary Probit(BP) model using SP data of time or condition of transportation expense compared with passenger car and bus. As the results, modified likelihood ratio of two BP models is favorable variables. And it occurred that mode was transferred from passenger car to railway when it showed higher social environment consciousness and low selfish environment consciousness, because t-statistic which represents selfish environment consciousness showed significance in 95% confidence level. That is, it can be described that environment consciousness affect on the intention of railway use.

The purposes of this study were to measure the levels of environmental consciousness. environmental knowledge, and environmental education performance and to find the influences of related variables on environmental education performance in Home Economics teachers. The researchers used a questionnaire consisting of three parts such as environmental consciousness. knowledge and education for 153 Home Economics teachers o secondary schools in Gwang-ju. The results are as follows: The level of environmental consciousness of the Home Economic teachers was high, but that of their environmental knowledge and the performance of environmental education were low. The teachers with more educational experience and married teachers showed higher level of environmental consciousness. Unmarried teachers showed higher level of environmental knowledge. The teachers with more age and educational experience showed higher level of environmental education performance. The teachers with more chances for getting environmental information had relatively higher level of environmental knowledge. The teachers with more educational experience and chance for getting environmental information and pro-environment community had relatively higher level of environmental education performance. With regard to environmental education experience older teachers getting environmental information pro-environment community and the teachers with higher level of environmental consciousness practiced more. Environmental knowledge, however, didn’t affect environmental education.
The study was designed to heap reduce daily household waste and promote the recycling of society's resources. the focus is on promoting environment-friendly activities and slevating a sense of nature-conscious domestic welfare, as well as providing wars to encourage garbage-savvy shopping, waste disposal by content and recycling. The thesis utilized demographic data obtained from 225 female homemakers and includes results based on frequency, ratio, mean, Duncan's Multiple range Test and Multiple Regression analysis. The main results are as follows: 1. Environmental consciousness appears to be higher than that of the adjustment of purchases to reduce waste and of recycling. Conversely more action seems to be taken on the waste disposal separation established since the launch of the volume-based waste collection fee system than on environmental education. 2. Homemakers with relatively higher environmental consciousness reciprocate with correspondent shopping habits, waste disposal eparation and recycling. Factors that influence daily waste reducing action include environmental consciousness homemaker employment status and the type of residence. 3. Activities reducing daily domestic wastes appear to effect a meaningful variable in explaining a sense of environmental welfare. The more respondents practice related shopping habits, waste disposal separation or recycling the more they recognize their living environment as desirable.

The purpose of this study is to accumulate basic data to establish planning direction of the environment-friendly remodeling through residents' consciousness in apartment Housing. The results are as follows : 1)More than half of residents thought remodeling is influential in decreasing of environmental pollution. 2) The important planning factors of the environment-friendly remodeling appear saving-energy, increasing health & amenity, coping with the change of population & society.
The purpose of this study is to accumulate basic data to establish planning direction and planning factors for the environment-friendly apartment complex. For this purpose, the survey has been conducted to residents living in an apartment housing and graduate students, architects and research experts in the field. The major findings of this study are as follows; 1) The basic concept of planning factors for environment-friendly apartment complex are energy saving, resources saving, minimizing environment pollution, natural harmony, regional identity and pursuit of residents' health & amenity. 2) For the planning factors of environment-friendly apartment complex, the residents had a great regard for aspect of Low-Impact (energy saving, resources saving, minimizing environment pollution). The experts, on the other hand, had a great regard for aspect of High-contact (natural harmony, regional identity). 3) It was increase of prime cost that the residents and experts regarded as the most important problem of planning and purchasing of environment-friendly apartment. It thus appears that the promotion of environmental consciousness of residents taking in the portion of increased cost is crucial parts and also that the role of the connected aspects such as administration, construction companies and residents must be redefined in order to manage problems caused in process of the development of it.
This study examines how environmental consciousness and socially responsible clothing consumption attitude influence people's perceptions of the consequences of fast fashion. Data were collected through a questionnaire survey administered to females in their 20s to 40s, and a total of 430 surveys were used in the final analysis. The research results are as follows. First, environmental consciousness-which was conceptualized as interest in consumer effectiveness and the environment-had a positive influence on attitudes toward socially responsible clothing consumption attitude, i.e., clothing recycling and resource conservation. As the perception of consumer effectiveness was high, respondents had a tendency not to follow trends. Second, consumers with a high level of interest in the environment perceived the effect of fast fashion on the environment as serious, and they felt negatively toward personal use of fast fashion. Third, consumers with strong resource conservation behavior perceived the effect of fast fashion on the environment as serious, but those with positive attitudes toward secondhand clothing did not appear to have that perception. Finally, consumers who followed trends and those with weakly held attitudes about resource conservation felt positively toward personal use of fast fashion. The results of this research indicate that environmental consciousness is an important factor for socially responsible clothing consumption behavior. In addition, consumers with strong attitudes regarding resource conservation were more perceptive of the negative effect of fast fashion on the environment.

The purpose of this study is to examine the consciousness of residents and managers in multi-family housing management. Research methods used in this study were survey, field study. The parts of evaluation tool are composed of maintenance, operating management, residential life management. The evaluation tool of questionnaire got contents through documents research. This study indicates; first, residents' evaluation about the degree of satisfaction was totally lower than its importance. Specially, perception on residential life management was lowest. Second, it seems that managers assume indifferent attitude toward management works. It was caused by low pay, inferior work environment, and residents' exceeding interferences. In future, such efforts as residents participation, improvements of managerial work environment are required for the housing management efficiency.
