바이오미미크리 특성이 적용된 신재료 가공방법 연구 (A Study on Processing Methods of New Materials Applied to Biomimicry Characteristics)

  • Using the 'New material' concept has recently been introduced into the natural characteristics. In the course of such a, Janine M. Benyus has proposed to mimic the characteristics of natural ecosystems to mention the concept of Biomimicry. Process made engineered using technical elements for representing the material properties of Biomimicry such will be acting importantly, This study intends to analyze how new materials applied to 'Biomimicry' characteristics are processed in space. The results were as follows : 1) Processing methods of new materials resulted as 'Forming', 'Surface treatment', 'Bonding', 'Inserting'. These four were divided and analyzed into 'Form', 'System', 'Adaptation'. As a result of this analysis, such significances were shown as 'Forming/Surface treatment/Bonding' in 'Form', 'Bonding' in 'System' and 'Adaptation'. 2) 'Bonding' applied to 'System' of new material can be recycled to be combined with other materials through the existing adhesive material, and present as a solution of 'Sustainable development'. 3) 'Bonding' applied to 'Adaptation' of new material is to impart the ability to react to the environment through the joint, but is characteristic, at this time, using digital and other field technology. It appeared primarily that it can be known to meet the social trends and convergence between fields. Thus, as the finish that are friendly to the environment from the interior design, the results of the study are expected to be utilized in the study of new materials guidelines.

암순응 환경에서 조도수준과 표적크기가 탐지시간에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Illumination and Target Size on Time-To-Detect while Recovering Dark Adaptation)

  • Effects of dark adaptation have large safety implications. This study was aimed to investigate the effects of varying illuminance and the size of critical detail on visual performance (i.e., time-to-detect) in a dark room environment. While adapting to the dark environment, ten subjects were asked to detect and answer simple numerical expressions under 9 experimental conditions (3 illuminance level $\times$ 3 target size). The ANOVA results revealed that the time-to-detect was significantly affected by both of the illumination level and the size of critical detail. As illumination increased from 10 lux to 20 lux, the time-to-detect was significantly declined. For the size of critical detail, 0.5/min size (i.e., equal to 2 minutes of visual angle) resulted in a shorter time-to-detect, as compared to 0.7/min size (i.e., equal to 1.6 minutes of visual angle). Potential applications of this research include the development of design guidelines for illumination and warning signs in poorly illuminated viewing environments.

The Effect of Prism Adaptation Following Traumatic Brain Injury: A case report

  • Background: The presence of visuospatial impairment can make patients slow functional recovery and impede the rehabilitation process in TBI patients. Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate effects of prism adaptation treatment for functional outcomes in patients following traumatic brain injury. Methods: The subject received prism adaptation treatment for 2 weeks additionally during traditional rehabilitation for 4 weeks. The Patient has prism adaptation treatment while wearing wedge prisms that shift the external environment about $12^{\circ}$ leftward. The patient received 10 sessions, 15-20min each session. Outcome measures were visuospatial deficit(line bisection, latter cancellation), Visual and spatial perception(LOTCA-visual perception and spatial perception), motor function of upper extremity(FMA U/E; Fugl-Meyer motor assessment upper extremity, ARAT; Action research arm test), balance(BBS; Berg Balance Scale), mobility(FAC; Functional ambulation classification) and functional level(FIM; Functional independent measure). All Assessments took place on study entry and post-treatment assessments were performed at discharge from the hospital. Results: After prism adaptation, the visuospatial impairment scores improved as indicated in the line bisection(-15.2 to -6.02), latter cancellation(2 to 0) and LOTCA- spatial perception scores(7 to 9). The upper motor function improved as indicated in the scores of affected FMA U/E(21 to 40) and ARAT(4 to 22). Ambulation and balance improved as indicated in the BBS scores(25 to 38) and FAC scores(0 to 4). ADL function improved as indicated in the FIM total scores 54 to 70(motor 34 to 61, cognition 20 to 29). Conclusion: Prism adaptation did improve functional level such as motor functions and ADL abilities in TBI patient. Further research is recommended.

자가 적응 시스템의 개발을 위한 재사용 가능한 적응 전략 추출 시스템 (A Reusable Adaptation Strategy Extraction System for Developing Self-Adaptive Systems)

  • 최근 동적인 환경에서 발생하는 다양한 문제를 스스로 해결할 수 있는 자가 적응 시스템에 대한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 자가 적응 시스템에서 시스템이 문제를 스스로 인식하고 자가 적응할 수 있도록 요구사항을 설계하는 과정은 필수적이며, 만약 기존의 적응 전략들을 재사용하여 자가 적응 시스템을 설계한다면 소요되는 시간 및 비용을 절감할 수 있다. 따라서 이 논문은 새로운 자가 적응 시스템 개발 시 기존의 자가 적응 시스템으로부터 재사용 가능한 적응 전략을 추출하는 시스템을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 자가 적응 요소를 지식화하여 적응 전략 온톨로지 및 타깃 시스템 온톨로지를 정의하고, 이러한 온톨로지를 기반으로 재사용 가능한 적응 전략을 추출하는 기법을 기술한다. 또한, 이 논문은 제안 시스템을 구현하고 추출된 적응 전략에 대한 재사용률을 측정함으로써 제안 시스템을 비교 평가한다. 평가 결과, 제안 시스템은 추출된 적응 전략이 정확히 동작함을 보이며 제안 시스템의 추출 기법은 기존의 재사용 기법보다 높은 재사용률을 보인다.

치기공과 학생의 비판적 사고성향, 문제해결능력, 대학생활 적응의 융합적 관련성 (The Convergence relation of Critical Thinking Disposition, Problem-Solving Ability and College Life Adaptation of Dental Laboratory Technology Students)

  • 본 연구는 비판적 사고성향, 문제해결능력, 대학생활적응의 융합적 관계를 규명하고, 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 하였다. 설문 조사는 충북과 전북에 소재한 3년제 치기공과에 재학 중인 2,3학년 학생 172명을 대상으로 시행하였다. 분석결과 연구대상자의 비판적 사고성향은 3.50, 문제해결능력은 3.55, 대학생활적응은 3.27으로 나타났다. 대학생활적응에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인은 비판적 사고성향이었으며, 전공만족도, 대학만족도 순이었다. 치기공과 학생들의 대학생활에 적응 수준을 높이기 위해서 비판적 사고성향을 증진시키고, 전공과 대학만족도를 높일 수 있는 교육환경 개선과 다양한 교육프로그램 개발이 필요할 것이다.

마이크로폰 어레이를 위한 적응 모드 컨트롤러 (Adaptation Mode Controller for Adaptive Microphone Array System)

  • 본 논문은 실제 환경에서 고품질 음성 신호 취득을 위해, 적응 마이크로폰 어레이 시스템을 위한 적응 모드 컨트롤러를 제안한다. 적응 어레이 알고리즘의 올바른 동작을 위하여, 제안된 적응 모드 컨트롤러는 시간 축의 정보뿐만 아니라 공간 축의 정보를 함께 사용한다. 제안된 적응 모드 컨트롤러는 초기화 단계와 수행 단계의 두 단계로 나뉘어 동작되는데, 초기화 단계에서는 음원 위치 추정 기술이 사용되며, 수행 단계는 신호의 상관 관계 특성에 의해 동작한다. 적응 어레이 알고리즘으로는 적응 차단 행렬을 이용한 Generalized Sidelobe Canceller가 사용되었다. 제안한 적응 모드 컨트롤러는 적응 차단 행렬이 수렴되지 않은 경우에도 사용 가능하며, 기존의 전력비 방법에 비해 안정적인 성능을 나타낸다. 본 논문은 제안한 시스템을 실제 환경에서 평가하였으며, 2m 거리에 위치한 화자에 대해 13dB SINR 향상을 얻었다.

Developing an Urban Planning Model for Climate Change Adaptation

  • As abnormal climate phenomena occur more frequently due to climate change, damage which results from meteorological disaster increases accordingly and its scale and variety are becoming wider. This paper draws out planning and design elements and application techniques to build cities more adaptive to climate change from urban development cases in US and Europe. An urban model is suggested, that enables built environment to be more resilient to risks caused by climate change is applicable to urban development projects in practice.

아동의 부모에 대한 애착과 학교생활적응과의 관계 (The Relationship between Attachment to Parents and Adaptation to School Life of Children)

  • Social area of children moves to school from family. Attachment to parents of children influences Adaptation of new environment. Development and adaptation of whole life are based on attachment that was formed the early days period of life. This study aims at finding out how are the factors like Relationship between Attachment to parents and Adaptation to school life of children. The targets of the study are 260 kids of the 1st grade and the 2nd grade that are collected at primary school of K city in Jeonlabuk-Do. As for measurement tool that was used for this study, it used the questionnaire for parents Attachment which OK Jeong(1997) adopted from IPPA-R that was manufactured by Armsden & Greenberg(1987), and the questionnaire on adaptation to the school life made by Byung soo, Min(1991), and it found means(M), standard deviation(SD) as for the collected data, and it practiced three way ANOVA, correlation analysis, and Multiple regression. The result of this study was as follows. First, the girls were more attached to father than Boys. According to the contents, alienation to father of boys is higher than that of girls. Also, grade of children and employment or unemployment of mothers factors mutuality effect had significant differences in the area of alienation. Second, the children's attachment to mother that the Kids perceived in total has significant differences statistically according to gender of children and employment or unemployment of mothers factors mutuality effect. Boys of unemployment of mothers and girls of employment of mothers are more attached to mother. Third, the children's attachment to parents showed significant positive correlation in the area of the adaptation to school life. The dimension of communicate, by fathers were shown to affect largely to the adaptation to school life of the kids and among the sub-areas of attachment to fathers, the dimension of confidence by parents were shown to affect largely to the adaptation to school life of the kids. As we saw the study result above, we could confirm that children's attachment to parents had significant relations with the adaptation to school life of the kid, and furthermore, those were affecting importantly to the adaptation to school life the kid. So, we could know that it is important for parents and children to attach mighty so that can be increased adaptation to school life of the kids.

마을풍수의 문화생태 - 지리산권역의 마을을 사례로 - (Cultural Ecology on the Village Fengshui)

  • 전근대사회의 풍수는 마을주민들에게 있어서 오늘날의 문화생태적 환경과 같은 의미로 쓰였다. 마을사람들은 마을의 국지환경에 대해 풍수형국이라는 상징체계로 관계를 맺고 대응하였다. 마을 풍수를 통한 문화생태적 기능은 마을의 공간적 입지 규정, 인구 유입, 마을공동체의 생산 건축 활동 및 토지이용규제, 마을의 환경수용능력 규준, 환경관리, 주민공동체의 집단적 환경 의식 및 태도 형성 등으로 나타났다. 마을 풍수는 자연환경에 대한 주민들의 문화적 적응전략으로서, 마을의 지속가능한 환경시스템을 유지하기 위한 동아시아의 전통적인 문화생태적 방식이자 지식체계라고 평가할 수 있다.

  • This paper presents a user preference description for graphics contents that is developed in the process of the MPEG-21 DIA(Digital Item Adaptation) standard. The description scheme in this paper is proposed by the authors and adopted in the current AM (Adaptation Model) document of the MPEG-21 DIA. The goal of MPEG-21 standard is providing a multimedia framework that Provides augmented and transparent use of digital contents across various networks and terminals fur the life cycle of digital contents. DI (Digital Item) is a standardized basic unit of digital contents for transaction in the scope of MPEG-21. DIA contains both media resources and metadata including rights information.
