This study aimed at quantifying the impact of the reinforced standard for envelope insulation on heating and cooling energy consumption in a Korean detached house as well as at identifying the effect of regionally subdivided standards. For them, a series of simulations for application of the reinforced standard on respective walls, roof, floor, windows, and all envelopes were computationally conducted for a prototypical detached residential building. In addition, the subdivided standards were applied to each regions-central and southern regions, and the Jeju island. Analysis revealed that heat transfer through envelopes was the most significant source of building heat gain and loss; the reinforced standard effectively reduced heating energy consumptions, especially in central region; and the subdivided standards did not presented a clear difference in the amount of energy consumption for the southern region and the Jeju island, thus, a further study is required to investigate the necessity of regional subdivisions.

본 논문은 고장 분류 시스템을 위해 진동 신호로부터 특징 벡터를 자동적으로 추출하는 효과적인 기법을 제안한다. 기존의 멜-주파수 캡스트럼 계수는 진동신호의 노이즈에 민감하여 분류 정확도를 감소시키는 단점이 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문은 4단계 필터 뱅크로 구성된 스펙트럴 엔벨로프 캡스트럼 계수 분석을 제안하며, 4단계는 (1) 모든 진동 신호의 스펙트럴 엔벨로프를 기술하기 위한 선형 예측 코딩 알고리즘 사용 단계, (2) 일반적인 스펙트럴 모양을 얻기 위해 모든 엔벨로프의 평균화 단계, (3) 평균 엔벨로프와 그 주파수의 최대값을 찾기 위한 기울기 하강 방법 사용 단계, (4) 엔벨로프의 주파수 사이의 거리로부터 계산된 중앙값을 얻는데 사용되는 비 중첩 필터 뱅크 단계로 구성된다. 이4-단계필터뱅크는 특징벡터를 추출하기위해 캡스트럼 계수 계산에 사용된다. 마지막으로 유도전동기의 결함 형태를 구분하기 위해 이러한 특수 파라미터를 사용하는 다중 계층 서포트 벡터 머신을 사용한다. 모의실험 결과, 제안하는 방법은 약 99.65%의 분류 성능을 보이며, 동시에 기존 방법들보다 우수한 성능을 보인다.

등목어과에 속하는 어류의 경우 수정란 난막이 형태학적으로 같은 과이기 때문에 종간에 유사성이 있는지 또는 같은 과에 속한다고 하더라도 종에 따라 서로 다른 구조를 하고 있는지를 알아보고, 과 또는 종의 기준이 되는 형태학적 특징들을 확인하기 위해서 three-spot gourami (Trichogaster trichopterus), pearl gourami (Trichogaster leeri) 및 marble gourami (Trichogaster trichopterus trichopterus)를 실험재료로 하여 수정란과 난막구조를 광학현미경, 투과전자현미경 및 주사전자현미경을 이용하여 관찰 비교하였다. 3종의 수정란은 모두 구형의 무색투명한 부착성란으로 부성란이었고 난막 표면에 부속사는 없었으며 난황장 중앙에 하나의 유적이 있었다. 3종 모두 정자의 통로로 생각되는 난문이 관찰되었는데 경사가 완만한 수많은 흠을 보유하고 있는 깔대기 형태였으나 pearl gourami의 경우 꽃 모양의 구조물이 난문 안쪽에 위치하고 있었고 three-spot gourami와 아종인 marble gourami의 경우 형태는 서로 유사했다. 난막의 표면은 홈들이 난막 전체에 분포하고 있었고, 3종 모두 난막은 2층으로 부착층인 외층 및 전자밀도가 높은 한 층인 내층으로 구성되어 있었다. 이상과 같이 수정란의 형태, 난문의 구조, 난막표면 및 난막의 단면구조는 3종 모두 매우 유사한 형태로 등목어과 어류의 수정란 및 난막의 공통적인 특징으로 생각된다.

A heart sound algorithm, which separates the heart sound signal into four parts; the first heart sound, the systolic period, the second heart sound, and the diastolic period has been developed. The algorithm uses discrete intensity envelopes of approximations of the wavelet transform analysis method to the phonocard-iogram(PCG)signal. Heart sound a highly nonstation-ary signal, so in the analysis of heart sound, it is important to study the frequency and time information. Further more, Wavelet Transform provides more features and characteristics of the PCG signal that will help physician to obtain qualitative and quantitative measurements of the heart sound.

Infrared spectroscopic observations and their analysis revealed many physical and chemical characteristics of the various stars with dust envelopes. Especially, AGB stars and young stellar objects are believed to be major contributors of infrared radiation from galaxies. The wavelength of the peak spectral energy for typical galaxies is about $100{\mu}m$. Therefore, infrared spectral observations of galaxies provide important information for their overall properties. The qualitative analysis of the infrared spectra which are made of various stars and interstellar matter will be possible through a new population synthesis.

In this paper, we examine the acoustic characteristics of Korean vowels on pitch alteration utterance. The prosody is known as an indicator of acoustic characteristics of emotions. Also, speech is acoustically differenced according to the emotional variation and environmental variation, although speaker utters the same speech. We analyzed the spectral envelopes and formants from the voiced regions as data points on the speech waveform.

We introduce a new percentile envelope for diagnosing supernormality in regression analysis. Furthermore, we compare this percentile envelope, which is much simpler and easier, with Atkinson's and Flack and Flores' envelopes. Using percentile envelope, we investigate characteristics of normal probability plots with envelope for error distributions when supernormality is occurred. We give cautions that test result for normality assumption of errors can be reached the wrong conclusion by supernormality.

A model house with a "Ondol" heating working with solar energy and supplied by circulation air was investigated both experimentally and theoretically, A calculation method was developed for interpreting the measured values and for comparing several variants, This calculation method together with the measurement result is presented in the following. The gain in energy of the collector(Trombe wall type with TWD) measured on a particularly selected winter day with plenty of radiation amounted to approximately 31 % of the total solar radiation.
