Strategic Resource Initiative of Enterprise

  • Purpose - The paper aims to study strategic enterprise resource initiative formation processes. It analyzes the process of managing the strategic resource initiative and discusses its implementation mechanism. A research model for enterprises' strategic development is proposed, which suggests a geometric interpretation for estimating a company's long-term development. Research design, data, and methodology - The analysis employs theoretical studies of modern researchers. The main models used to determine the optimal alternative business strategy are graphic interpretation and mathematical modeling. Results - The hypotheses testing demonstrates the definition of a company's strategic resource initiative and explains the-mechanism or design of its formation. The study presents a geometric prism-refraction model of practice using a strategic resource initiative. Conclusions - An enterprise's strategy could return to its initial state in case of its unexpected deviation as a result of passing through the nodal points. The proposed model allows us to evaluate business performance, its surrounding environment, and the resource management strategy, to determine the necessary scope of strategy changes necessary to bring it back to the original state.

Therefore, to spur in hidden cost's discovery and logistics' optimization is actuality. In this paper, as long as it is by logistics cost except empty driving if reverse logistics happens in distribution channel progressing, logistics reverse logistics' hidden cost through model that do minimization profit of logistics to look for plan that can do maximization try. Finally, is based on dual of distribution cost and profit of logistics and reverse logistics and achieves Pull, optimal system modeling that use Push system and gropes method of effective logistics cost.

  • 최근 정보기술(Information Technology : IT) 분야의 새로운 소프트웨어 패러다임 (paradigm)은 분산 컴퓨팅 기법이 가져온 컴포넌트 기술이다. 컴포넌트 기술은 프로그램 개발에 소요되는 시간을 상당히 단축시킬 수 있으며, 인터넷/인트라넷 환경에 적합한 분산 컴퓨팅 환경을 쉽게 구축할 수 있도록 설계되어 있다. 이러한 소프트웨어 기술의 변화는 지리 정보 시스템(GIS) 분야에도 커다란 영향을 주었으며. 또한 지리정보 시스템의 기술적 정책적 측면에서 컴포넌트 기술이 매우 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 분산 GIS 컴포넌트들의 효과적인 개발과 운용을 위해 선 마이크로 시스템에서 산업 표준으로 제시한 Enterprise JavaBeans Specification 1.1을 적용하여 GIS 컴포넌트를 위한 엔터프라이즈 서버를 개발한다. 사용자는 엔터프라이즈 서버를 활용하여 GIS 컴포넌트 개발을 위한 UML과 디자인 패턴 등을 관리하며, 개방형 지리 데이타 상호 운용성 사양인 OpenGIS를 준수하는 GIS 컴포넌트 컨테이너를 개발하고. 공간 XML 엔진을 이용하여 공간 메타데이타를 관리하며 그리고 개발된 GIS 컴포넌트들의 테스트 및 검증을 위한 TESTBED 서버를 구현할 수 있다.

  • 협업 워크플로우 관점에서 비즈니스 프로세스는 기업 내외의 애플리케이션들과 인적 자원들과의 유기적인 결합을 통하여 협업 프로세스를 신속하고 유연하게 수행할 수 있도록 지원하여야 한다. 현재기업 업무에 대한 시스템 의존도가 높아지고는 있지만, 인간은 여전히 핵심적인 역할을 차지한다. 즉 워크플로우 모델링에는 이러한 인간의 역할이 강조되어야 하며 인간 의사결정 과정 자체를 분석하여 인적오류를 제어할 수 있는 구조가 반드시 필요하다. 또한 액티비티간의 협업을 통하여 빠르고 효율적인 커뮤니케이션이 구축되어 궁극적으로는 액티비티들이 목표 프로세스에 연류되어 결과물에 대한 품질이 향상되도록 하여야 한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 협업 워크플로우에서 발생할 수 있는 인적오류를 제어하기 위해 GEMS(Generic Error Modeling System) 모델을 적용한다. 또한 하이브리드 기반의 모델링 방법을 통한 인적오류 제어 방법을 제시한다. 아울러 이러한 기반에서 협업 워크플로우를 모델링할 수 있는 도구를 설계하고 구현한다. 이와 같은 모델링 방법을 사용하면 인간 자체의 특성을 고려함으로써 인적오류를 제어할 수 있는 워크플로우 모델링이 될 수 있도록 지원할 수 있다.

네트워크 기업의 정보기술 아키텍처 프레임워크 연구 (A Study on ITA(Information Technology Architecture) Framework for Networked Enterprises)

  • Networked enterprise (NE) is an organization of independent companies that collaborate with each other temporary or permanently for accomplishing common goals. The USA and EU have been developing principal concepts, techniques, and solutions to enhance the competitiveness of traditional industries including small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs). In Korea, however, implementation as well as R&D of NE is very few, which we believe comes from lack of understanding on Its meaning and lack of effective information systems for it. This paper is to suggest an Enterprise Architecture (EA) framework or reference model of NE and an Information Technology Architecture (ITA) of NE. The EA framework will help stakeholder of NE (e,g., policy makers, members of NE, IT solution providers, and researchers) understand structural and behavioral characteristics of NE. The ITA will be used as a guideline of developing information systems for NE that is essential for spreading networked business models, The focus of this paper is not on logical-level design but on conceptual-level modeling of NE. As verification of the suggested framework and architecture is still required, so we'll apply them to various manifestations of NE, e.g., dynamic supply chain, vertical integration of extended enterprises, and P2P-style virtual enterprises.

모니터링 기능에 대한 인식이 효과적인 BPMS 도입에 미치는 영향 (An Empirical Study on the Impact of the Perception of the Monitoring Function on Effective BPMS Adoption)

  • Recently, there is a substantial interest in implementing Business Process Management System(BPMS) among enterprises with the purpose of business process innovation. BPMS redesigns and coordinates business processes in terms of both automated steps and human involvement in order to maximize the value of both involved people and systems. The reason why BPMS is getting attention from top managers is that it has the possibility to optimize the business processes by cycling the process of modeling, execution, monitoring, evaluation, and redesigning work processes. Thus, it has created high expectations about not only productivity improvement but also business process innovation. However. having an innovative nature, which is used for process innovation, BPMS implementation has great potential to stir up employee resistance. The analysis and the discussion about the prevention of the resistance against IS(Information Systems) is important because IS change the way people work and also alter the power structure within the organization, in general. The purpose of this study is to investigate factors that have an impact on the effective adoption of BPMS at the enterprise level. To find out these factors, this study considers two characteristics of BPMS: First. BPMS shares some characteristics with other enterprise-wide IS such as ERP. Second, it has special BPMS-specific characteristics. Due to the lack of previous research on BPMS adoption, interviews were carried out with IT-consultants and CIOs who conducted BPMS projects previously to find out BPMS-specific features that would make BPMS unique when compared to other enterprise-wide IS. As a result, the monitoring function was chosen as the main BPMS-specific factor. Thus, this paper reviewed studies both on enterprise-wide IS adoptions, which applied Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and secondly on computer based monitoring to find out factors that would influence the employees' perception on the monitoring function of BPMS. Based on the literature review, the study suggested three factors that would have an impact on the employee's perception of the monitoring function: fairness of enterprise evaluation system, fairness of the boss, and self-efficacy of their work. Three factors that would impact the enterprise-wide IS adoption were also set: the shared belief in the benefit of BPMS, training, and communication. Then, these factors were integrated with TAM. Structural equation modeling was used to test hypotheses, out factors that would impact the employees' perception on the monitoring function of BPMS. Based on the literature review the study suggested three factors that would have an impact on the employee's perception of the monitoring function: fairness of enterprise evaluation system, fairness of the boss, and self-efficacy of their work. Three factors that would impact the enterprise-wide IS adoption were also set: the shared belief in the benefit of BPMS, training, and communication. Then, these factors were integrated with TAM. Structural equation modeling was used to test hypotheses. The data analysis results showed that two among three monitoring function related factors - enterprise evaluation system and fairness of the boss - were significant. This implies that employees would worry less about the BPMS implementation as long as they perceive the monitoring results will be used fairly for their performance evaluation. However, employees' high self-efficacy on their job was not a significant factor in their perception of the usefulness of BPMS. This is related to cases that showed employees resisted against the information systems because they automated their works (Markus, 1983). One specific case was an electronic company, where the accounting department workers were requested to redefine their job because their working processes were automated due to BPMS implementation.

  • 국내 외 많은 컨설팅 및 SI회사들이 나름대로의 SOA방법론을 개발 및 적응하고 있다. 하지만 각 회사의 방법론 마다, SOA 사상 관점에 따라 접근 방향이 상이하고, 수행 방법과 태스크 또한 실제 적응하기에는 상세성이 부족하다. 이 연구에서는 국내 외 SOA 방법론을 비교 분석하고, 실제 적응된 사례를 통하여 특정 도메인에 무관한 현업 사용자 위주의 서비스 식별이라는 명제를 반영한 유저인터페이스 기반의 서비스 분석 및 모델링 방법론을 제시한다.

  • Data sharing is a major challenge to implement CALS. STEP is the international standard for the product model data exchange among heterogeneous systems and plays a key role in CALS. Advances in computer networks are rapidly changing the product development processes. The network oriented modeling system premises to integrate design activities across the enterprise. To achieve goals of CALS 3-dimensional concurrent modeling that complies international standard is required since integrity and common perception of product data can be assured. This paper presents 3-dimensional concurrent geometric modeling on high speed network using STEP and methodologies.

동적 모델링을 통한 업무 재설계 (Process Redesign Through Dynamic Modeling)

  • Organizational change projects such as Business Process Redisign (BPR) have been perceived to incur high risk due to their high management complexity, enterprise-wide impace, and steep project cost. This research intends to reduce such risk by developing a systematic process redesign methods, called Dynamic Process Modeling (DPM) method. DPM integrates the customer-oriented business process modeling technique with computerized visual simulation technique to promote better understanding of the target process and enable performance simulation of the proposed redesign alternatives prior to actual BPR implementations. For the cusstomer-oriented process modeling, we propose Dynamic-Event Process Chain (Dynamic-EPC) extending from the conceptual customer process model, Event-Process Chain (EPC). We compare DPM with four other implementation-level process modeling methods over eight criteria and demonstrate its effectiveness by applying it to the real-world hospital BPR case.

경영자와 조직구성원의 의지가 혁신활동성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of CEO and Eemployee's Intention to Innovation Activity Performances)

  • 본 연구에서는 조직 내 생산부문에서 전개되는 혁신활동에 대한 최고경영자 및 구성원의 관심과 참여가 궁극적으로 기업경영성과에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 구조방정식을 적용하여 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 바탕으로 기업 내 혁신활동의 성공을 위한 실천적인 방안을 찾고, 많은 기업에서 공유함으로써 보다 효율적인 혁신활동을 전개할 수 있도록 지원하기 위함이다. 본 연구는 중소기업 277개사를 대상으로 한 설문조사를 바탕으로 이루어졌으며, 수집된 설문자료는 데이터의 신뢰성과 타당성을 검토한 후 구조방정식을 이용한 모형의 설계 및 검증 과정을 통해 진행하였다. 그 결과 경영자에 의한 비전제시와 혁신활동지원 등에 대한 확고한 의지표명이 조직구성원 입장에서 혁신활동의 토대가 되는 교육 및 소집단활동, 제안활동 참여에 적극 가담하도록 영향을 미치고 있을 뿐만 아니라, 혁신활동의 성과 제고에도 유의한 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 작업자의 교육 및 활동 참여의지가 혁신활동성과에 직접적인 영향을 끼치는 것도 확인할 수 있었으며, 결과적으로 매출액 증대, 영업이익률 증대, 원가절감 등과 같은 기업의 경영성과에도 긍정적인 작용을 하고 있음을 알 수 있다.
