A Study on Consumer's Value, Sportswear's Benefit Sought and Attribute Evaluation (소비자 가치와 스포츠웨어 추구혜택 및 속성평가에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study were to investigate the relationships between consumer's value and sportswear's benefit sought/attribute evaluation, and to examine how sportswear's benefit sought were influenced by consumers' value and demographic variables. Subjects were 468 males and females in their teens to 30's in Seoul. Consumer's value was classified into four dimensions by using factors analysis: materialism, achievement orientation, traditionalism, and other consciousness. The value of materialism and achievement orientation had positive relations with brand orientation, fashion, appearance attraction, enterprise image, and brand advertisement of sportswear in both male and female. Achievement orientation had, in case of the male, positive relations with economics, practicality, fabrics, and quality of sportswear. In case of the female, traditionalism had positive relations with economics and practicality, and other consciousness value had positive relations with brand advertisement. Materialism was the most important in predicting brand orientation, followed by social class in both male and female. Age was the most important in predicting practicality, followed by achievement orientation in case of the male. Materialism(-) was, in case of the female, the most important in predicting practicality, followed by traditionalism, achievement orientation, and age.

Study on Priorities of Regional Climate Change Policy (기후변화정책 우선순위 연구)

  • This study aims to analyze the priority of regional climate change policy utilizing AHP (analytic hierarchy process) at the area of Metropolitan City of Incheon. It derives four factors at first hierarchical level, at which level the analysis of pair-wise comparison indicates that industrial sector, energy sector, climate change response, and green culture policy are considered important in that order. It also ends up with sixteen factors at second level. The result of comparison analysis between all factors reveals that investment promotion in green technology R&D is considered the most significant factor of all, followed by establishment of green enterprise support system, electricity-efficiency enhancement support project and build-up of green culture policy governance. The result implies that diverse promotional policies have to incorporate business, institutional, and cultural aspects for sustainable climate change policy of regions. The contribution of this study is that it highlights the need to include regional characteristics in deciding priority among policy options for them to be effective.

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the difference of the SCM activities in the general characteristics of fashion enterprises and to inquire out the general characteristics affecting the introduction of SCM. The characteristics of apparel manufactures were also compared through the cluster analysis of the SCM activity levels of apparel manufactures. Through questionnaire survey, a total af 214 data - 123 from 64 apparel manufacturers, 46 from 40 fabric suppliers and 45 from 4 retailers - were used for analysis. The analysis on the relation between the SCM activity levels and the general characteristics of fashion enterprises showed that the SCM activities were affected by product assortment pattern and SCM introduction level for fabric suppliers, production method, product assortment pattern, business type and SCM introduction level for apparel manufacturers, and SCM introduction level for retailers. The cluster characteristics related to the SCM activity levels of apparel manufacturers showed that the clusters with higher level were tending to doing business internationally and trying to manufacture in a small lot in variety. The higher level clusters also revealed relatively low in the occupation ratio of fashion goods and high in quick response ratio compared to the lower level clusters.

  • It is no accident that Marks & Spencer lost the Chinese market. This paper will analyze the reasons why Marks & Spencer failed to expand the Chinese market from five aspects: market environment, strategy, market positioning, marketing strategy and site selection. Discuss the enlightenment that the case brings to the enterprise in terms of culture, strategy, positioning and marketing. As a result, we found that strategies for culture, strategy, positioning, and marketing play an important role in creating corporate management strategies and competitive advantage. The results of this study are likely to be used as a very important guideline on a practical level.

Gradually it was difficult to manage the accounting of large firms without having any machine help. This profession faced a lot of challenges and required the need to adapt technology.   • The principal objective of this study was to determine how the internal marketing of the contract foodservice management company affects job satisfaction and organization immersion, as well as the influence of the satisfaction of internal customers (employees) has on job satisfaction and organization immersion, and the function as a preceding variable that improves service quality. T-test, ANOVA, and linear regression analysis was conducted to analyze the hypotheses of the study. The summary of study as per the result of this corroborative study is presented as follows: It was verified that internal marketing affects organizational immersion and the job satisfaction of employees, and job satisfaction plays a crucial role in organizational immersion. Moreover, it was also confirmed that the higher the internal marketing is, the higher the job satisfaction and organization immersion will be, thereby improving the service quality provided by employees. If enterprise regards employees as internal customers and constantly and efficiently conducts internal marketing activities such as internal communication, training, welfare, compensation, delegation of power, supporting the management, etc, the organizational immersion and job satisfaction of employees will be heightened, thereby enhancing loyalty and pride in the organization to provide services with better quality.

  • This study try to analyze the relationship between the corporate culture type and performance about convergence corporate. In addition, we developed a model that fix this research to analyze the business culture and firms type in order to perform this study overall. In the daily operations of an organization's culture can be a source of corporate competitiveness, it may be classified as an important factor in the performance of the organization to promote. In other words, the organizational culture as well as be able to describe an individual's attitudes and behavior, microscopic, macroscopic analysis of organizational behavior can serve to connect conceptually each others and through this process can be seen as contributing to the achievement creation. Therefore, analyzed the influence of the relationship between corporate culture and performance form the basis of this study and research model was validated. Corporate culture in the form of the convergency enterprise found out the strong relationship with job satisfaction and organizational commitment in the research result. Finally, this research results are expected to be a useful guide as a basis for the creation and management of companies with a corporate culture in the near future convergence corporation.

  • This research aims to suggest the possibility of functional culture contents based on interdisciplinary methodologies, especially for people who have Autism Spectrum Conditions, or those who have disabilities on express and receive gamsung (emotions). Recently, the development of application technologies in smartphones and tablet computers needs of functional culture contents, which are connected with the gamsung system. Moreover, the potential of marketplace of functional culture contents is emerging, as can be seen from the success of Augmentative and Alternative Communications (AAC) applications. Therefore, with the development of more applications that prevent and resolve Gamsung Disabilities anticipatively, there will be a positive economic effect of reducing back on intervention expenses as well as the construction of new contents ecosystem. So, in this research, we will attempt to make an approach of using the cultural semiotics methodology in finding attributes and features of applications that help to keep mental stability and balance for people with gamsung Disabilities. Particularly, this research will suggest an interdisciplinary theory on healing contents making methodology, using contents analysis; user interface (UI) analysis; and user experience (UX) analysis on existing smart healing applications.

Comparison Study of MBA Education between China and Japan

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) education is growing rapidly in China, while many business schools in Japan are having difficulty in recruiting new students. The MBA education in China and Japan followed a different course and showed very different trends. In this article, we make a comparative study of MBA education in China and Japan. The emphasis is put on analyzing the reasons that caused the difference in the MBA education in the two Asian countries. We trace back the development of MBA education in China and Japan, examining the MBA education from the viewpoint of social environment, enterprise culture, and government support and control as well as the incentive and faculty management system of universities.
