  • The TAM(Topographic Attentive Mapping) network neural network model is an especially effective one for pattern analysis. It is composed of of Input layer, category layer, and output layer. Fuzzy rule, lot input and output data are acquired from it. The TAM network with three pruning rules for reducing links and nodes at the layer is called fuzzy TAM network. In this paper, we apply fuzzy TAM network to pattern analysis of leadership type for organizational leader and show its usefulness. Here, criteria of input layer and target value of output layer are the value and leadership related personality type variables of the Egogram and Enneagram, respectively.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a care promotion program based on nursing students' self-understanding. Methods: A quasi-experimental approach using a randomized clinical trial pre- and posttest design was used. Participants were assigned to an experiment group (n=29) or control group (n=30). Data were collected from June 23 to September 8, 2017. The experiment group participated in a care promotion program based on self-understanding for 24 hours through eight sessions covering eight different topics. The data were analyzed using t-test and repeated-measures ANOVA using SPSS/WIN 21.0. Results: Compared to the control group, the experiment group reported significant positive changes for college life adjustment (F=28.74, p<.001), emotional intelligence (F=15.66, p<.001), and interpersonal caring behavior (F=9.37, p=.003). Conclusion: Findings from this study indicate that care promotion based on a self-understanding improvement program with the application of group enneagram education is a useful intervention strategy to promote the care promotion program based on nursing students' self-understanding. Care promotion based on self-understanding will be utilized as an intervention program to form positive values of care and interpersonal relationship through care awareness, self-change, understanding of others and care experience in the group.

  • Objectives: To deter job migration and to facilitate a more efficient personnel management system, a personality type analysis tool, such as MBTI and Enneagram, may be considered. These tools can facilitate better recognition of talent among prospective employees, as well as more efficient allocation of tasks for greater job satisfaction. Methods: This study conducted direct interviews with dental hygienists currently employed at two major dental organizations, which operate the largest networks of clinics across the greater metropolitan area. Results : First, in terms of number of turnover experiences, the Head Type showed lower task satisfaction, whereas the Body Type exhibited greater task satisfaction. Second, the Head Type showed greater job satisfaction compared to the other types. Third, the SJ Type, often considered the traditionalist in terms of long-term employments, exhibited greater tendencies toward long-term commitment with one employer. Fourth, dental hygienists, in terms of long-term employment, are negatively affected by task satisfaction, and positively affected by job satisfaction. Conclusions: It is thought to be considerable to use personality type analysis tools in clinical human resource management.

  • Single-person household is estimated to be about 26.5% of the total household in 2015, which counts as 5060000 in numbers. We opt to acknowledge the various requests of these single residents, and in order to raise their satisfaction, we investigated on how personal taste, psychological interest, and personality attribute affects the user's preference of space organization and furniture in one room housing. Using the qualified psychology program, Enneagram Personality Type Indicator, we surveyed young people under 30 years old (majority of single-person households), regarding space organization and furniture preference. With the help of a specialist, the survey was constructed with appropriate evaluation items (space organization in one room households, bed, sofa, furniture material, etc), and analyzed the relationship between the evaluated items and personality types. Results showed there is a relationship between personality types and spatial structure. First, preference of spatial structure differed for different personality types. Second, the shape and size of furniture was dependent more on the ease of usability and design rather than on the personality types. One thing to consider is that type 1 and 9 accounted for about 50% of the total surveys. This emphasizes that the preferred spatial structure of a dominant specific personality type should not be overlooked.

  • This paper analyzes the types of characters in the drama by applying Gremas's Actantial model and Enneagram's character typology and examines how they are shaped. As the Korean Wave is important, it is necessary to study the type of characters and how to describe them. Character is the most important factor in the influence of drama. As a result of applying to the Actantial model, and the following results were obtained. The main subjects are Yu-jin Choi and Ko Ae-sin, the Helpers are many people helping the subject, the opponent is the pro-Japanese figures, the Sender is Gojong, and the recivers are the people of Joseon. Analysis results by personality type of Enneagram, it was found that the subjects are 3 and 5 type, the Helpers are various types, the opponent is 3 type, the Sender is 5 type, and the receivers all types. In the method of describing the subject, internal description (direct description) is used, and the other is only formed by indirect description. Some of the Helpers and the Sender are used an image-telling method to show the inside. However, the opponent is image-telling only to show indirectly. As a result, it was possible to confirm the differences and effects on the method of image-telling by character type.

  • This study was conducted to confirm the meaning and essence of the interpersonal caring experience of nursing students who participated in an enneagram-based care intervention program. The subjects of the study were nine second-year students in the Department of Nursing at a university located in the region, and data were collected from April 25 to August 26, 2022, through interview records, statements, and reflection journals. The collected data were analyzed using Colaizzi's phenomenological method. Results, It appeared in three categories and 10 topic groups 'Recognition through sharing and listening', 'Acceptance through comfort and forgiveness', 'Praise and giving hope through participation and companionship in daily life', While writing a person care reflection journal, you can realize the meaning of care through critical reflection, understand the essence of the person care experience, and confirm the vivid person care experience, and develop the ability to care for people through in-depth reflection on personal experiences, feelings, and deep understanding. For this purpose, this study investigated among the 226 elementary school students that are enrolled in fourth, fifth, and sixth grade classes at the elementary schools located in Gyeonggido, South Korea. The personality type of the students was determined by the Enneagram test. In this study, students were given with books that match their personality type and the effect of the provision was investigated. Main results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, the fact that books that match their own personality type made the children curious about the books, evoking their interest in reading. Second, the children exchanged their books with those who have similar personality type after they finish reading. As a result, the children could be exposed to more diverse books. Third, the students were curious about what kind of books were given to those with different personality type. The students responded that they want to read all of the different types of books too.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an automatic classification system for recommending appropriate books of 9 enneagram personality types, using book information data reviewed by librarians. Data used for this study are book review of 501 recommended titles for children and young adults from National Library for Children and Young Adults. This study is implemented on the assumption that most people prefer different types of books, depending on their preference or personality type. Performance test for two different types of machine learning models, nonlinear kernel and linear kernel, composed of 360 clustering models with 6 different types of index term weighting and feature selections, and 10 feature selection critical mass were experimented. It is appeared that LIBLINEAR has better performance than that of LibSVM(RBF kernel). Although the performance of the developed system in this study is relatively below expectations, and the high level of difficulty in personality type base classification take into consideration, it is meaningful as a result of early stage of the experiment.
