3D 조각가공 시스템을 위한 3 차원 복원 방법 (3D Reconstruction Method for 3D Engraving Systems)

  • Design is important in the IT, digital appliance, and auto industries. Aesthetic and art images are being applied for better design satisfaction of the products. Various artistic image patterns are used to satisfy demand of design, but it takes much lead-time and effort to implement them for making dies and molds. In this paper, a hybrid reverse engineering method generating accurate 3D engraving models from 2D art images is proposed through image processing, 3D reconstruction, and NURBS interpolation methods. In order to generate the 3D model from the 2D artistic image, cloud points with z-depth are extracted according to intensity values of the image. An adaptive median filter and harmonic filter are used to obtain the intensity values accurately. NURBS surfaces are generated through the interpolation of the cloud points. Performance of the developed system is to be confirmed through the realization of Mona Lisa and Golden Gate Bridge.

  • The rock engraving of the Korea are dated by a very few direct archaeological contexts by linking their images to objects of known prehistoric date-although many of the figures are 'abstract'. This paper focuses on the rock art of Bangu-dae, located in the south-east of Korea. I try to the date of engravings from their contexts and the ways in which they can be studied.

17세기말기-18세기말 프랑스 남자 쥐스또꼬르 유형변화와 패턴제작 연구 (A Study of the Changes in Types of Justaucorps for French Men, and Pattern making from the End of the 17th Century to the End of the 18th Century)

  • As basic materials in this research, 874 pieces of engraving that recorded the garment produced by diverse authors in the 17-18th century were collected among the collections of male and female garment in the engraving kept by National Library of France and 216 pieces of engraving were classified among them to observe justaucorps as stated in the materials. Since type of justaucorps in the 18th century can be classified by difference in shape and change through the above engraving materials in large quantity and the shape and composition can be compared and analyzed with other materials such as picture, stored garment, written materials without difficulty, the chronology can be composed by single type of justaucorps. Intending to understand the change in composition caused by type classification and pattern making as per analysis of type property of justaucorps, the men's upper garment in France in the 18th century. Checking change in design per from and materials, justaucorps of 1680-1700s was in silhouette where waist in the length above knee was adhered and slightly spread to lower part. In the type of 1710-1750s, waist adhered remarkably and many pleats were made under waist to produce volume of form that spread to lower part like skirt. In the type of 1760-1780s, straight silhouette was attached to whole body and end of front adjustment in slant line turns to rear part. The developmental aspect of construction can be checked by making pattern. Changing the cutting line of body plate to smoothly connect section and to try to adhere to the body, the development of simpler and delicate pattern production technique was confirmed.

대곡리 암각화(大谷里 岩刻畵)에 나타난 신석기시대 한우도(新石器時代 韓牛島)의 식생활문화(食生活文化) (Food Culture of Korean Peninsula in the Neolithic Period Described in Daegok-ri Petroglyph)

  • The present study examined the characteristic of regional food culture observed in prehistoric Daegok-ri petroglyph based on the history of art, archeological materials and existing whale eating customs. Daegok-가 petroglyph expressed animals in the sky, on the land and in the sea. According to the relic, the most preferred land and marin animals were deer and whale, respectively. In terms of petroglyphic techniques. earlier patch engraving was used mainly to express marin animal whale, and later line engraving to express land animal deer. This implies the possibility that as whale hunting declined due to regional environmental change the source of protein was switched to land animals. Among relics found in Dongsam-dong shell mound, which is a remain from the Neolithic Period, whale bones appear only in shell mounds of the Neolithic Period in coastal areas, and shell mounds until the Ironze Age, which were the agricultural Age, were found the bones of land animals such as deer and wild boar. This shows that in the petroglyph thematic land animals expressed in line engraving, which is a technique later than patch engraving, were major food resources for the supply of protein. Moreover, in terms of art, Daegok-ri petroglyph describes 'advanced hunters', suggesting that it was the Neolithic Period and showing 문 aspect of regional food culture based on hunting and fishing. The credibility, which prehistoric men expressed in Daegok-ri petroglyph before the invention of letters, was also proved by archeological articles.

고려 초조대장경 각판의 발원 장소 및 일자에 관한 연구 (A Research on the Place and Date of Praying for the Engraving of the First Edition of Tripitaka Koreana)

  • 이 논문은 고려 초조대장경 각판(刻板: 雕造)과 관련한 발원(發願)의 장소(發願地) 및 그 일자(發願日)의 문제를 규명한 연구이다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 초조대장경 각판 발원의 단서는 이규보의 <대장각판군신기고문>에서 '초조대장경의 초창지단(初創之端)'의 내용에 입각하였다. 2) 거란군이 침략하고, 현종이 남순(南巡: 몽진)하다가 다시 개경(開京)으로 환궁하기까지의 기간 사이에, 군신(君臣)이 함께 거란군(契丹軍)을 물리치기 위한 대규모 행사의 개최 또는 신명(神明)이 보답하는 제사(報祠)를 올린 기록을 "고려사"와 "고려사절요"에서 검색하였다. 그 결과, '"고려사절요" 제3권, 현종 2년(1011) 2월 정사일(丁巳: 13일)'條의 내용이 <대장각판군신기고문>의 초조대장경 각판 발원의 내용과 일맥상통함을 파악하였다. 이에 따라 <대장각판군신기고문>의 내용 또한 역사적 진실(史實)을 담고 있는 기록임을 파악하였다. 3) "고려사절요" 현종 2년(1011) 2월 13일의 기록 즉, '거란군이 스스로 물러가도록 신명(神明)이 보답할 수 있는 제사를 올렸다'는 사항은 바로 2월 15일에 청주 행궁(行宮)에서 거행된 <연등회(燃燈會)>의 의식 및 제사를 말하는 것이며, 이 연등회의 제례(祭禮)에서 신명께 기고(祈告)한 내용은 곧 '초조대장경 각판의 발원'이었을 것임을 입증하였다. 4) 그리하여 초조대장경 각판의 발원장소는 청주행궁(淸州行宮)이며, 그 발원일자(發願日)는 1101년(현종 2) 음력 2월 15일임을 규명하였다.

  • Even if some kinds of software for halftoning such as raster image process program are on the market, most of them couldn`t apply to the new laser gravure cylinder making machine because they are closed the source program. In order to develop new laser gravure engraving machine, we were investigated new suitable halftoning software based on the mapping and equal density expansion algorithm that we are mapped. As the results of actual practice with Microsoft Visiul C++2.0 in 133Khz 64M ram IBM personal computer, we found that the new software for halftone generation for laser gravure engraving machine are available in new machine, and easily load and processing the graphic image for gravure hardcopy.
