주거용 건물의 창호에너지평가시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Window Energy Rating Systems in Residential Buildings)

  • Purpose: The window energy rating system was developed in early 1990's and various kind of rating system has been implemented in advanced country such as Europe, Australia, Canada and the US since 2000. In Korea, the Energy Consumption Efficiency Rating Indication System has been implemented to promote supply of high efficiency window since July 2012. Normally, the window energy rating system based on heat balance which considers both thermal losses and solar heat gain is used and applied only to residential buildings. However, the system used nationally only considers thermal losses and is applied to every building regardless of its usage. Therefore, in this study, we indicated problems of domestic window energy rating system and looked for improvements. Method: We analyzed thermal performance of various windows through dynamic simulation applied to detached house and compared results with those of domestic and foreign rating system. Result : Thermal performance of south windows is more affected by SHGC than U-value, and that of north windows is also affected by SHGC a lot. The difference between the results of our study and current system is statistically significant. As a result, appropriate evaluation criteria which considers solar heat gain is required.

미곡종합처리장의 에너지 모델 개발(II) -시뮬레이션 모델 개발 및 소요 에너지 분석- (Development of an Energy Model of Rice Processing Complex(II) -Simulation Model Development and Analysis of Energy Requirement-)

  • The rice processing complex(RPC) consisted of the rice handling, drying, storage, and milling processes. It has been established at 83 locations domestically by April 1994, and 200 of RPC will be built more throughout the country. Therefore, this study has been performed to achieve two objectives as the followings : 1) Development of mathematical models which can assess the requirement of electricity, fuel, and labor for four model systems of rice processing complex. 2) Development of a computer simulation model which produce the improved designs of RPC by the evaluation results of energy requirements of four RPC models. The results from this study are summarized as follows : 1) Mathematical models were developed on the basis of result of mass balance analysis and required power of machines for each process. 2) A computer simulation model was developed, which can produce the improved designs of RPC by the evaluation results of energy requirements. The computer simulation model language was BORLAND $C^{++}$. 3) The results of simulation showed that total energy requirements were ranged from 75.94㎾h/t to 124.30㎾h/t. 4) From the results of computer analysis of energy requirement classified by drying type, it was found that energy requirement of the drying type A{paddy rice (PR) for storage-natural air drying(15%), PR for milling-heated air drying(16%)} were less than that of the drying type B{1 step-natural air drying(PR for storage : 18%, PR for milling : 20%), 2 step-heated air drying(PR for storage : 15%, PR for milling : 16%)}. 5) The energy efficient drying method is that all the incoming rough rice to RPC should be dried by national air drying systems. If it is more than the capacity of national air drying system, the amount of surplus rough rice is recommended to be dried by the heated air drying method.

콩군낙(群落)의 열수지특성(熱收支特性)과 건물(乾物)로의 물이용효율(利用效率) (Heat Balance Characteristics and Water Use Efficiency of Soybean Community)

  • 콩군낙(群落)(팔달(八達)콩 ; 재식밀도(栽植密度) $45{\times}10cm$)에서의 열수지성분(熱收支成分) 변화(變化)를 계절별(季節別)로 관측(觀測)하고 열수지법(熱收支法)으로 증발산량(蒸發散量)을 계산(計算)하여 건물생산량(乾物生産量)과의 관계(關係)를 구한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 1. 맑은날의 전단파복사량(全短波輻射量)에 대한 순복사량(純輻射量)의 비율(比率)은 59~76%로 흐린날의 63~83%보다 낮았다. 2. 순복사량(純輻射量)에 대한 잠열전달량(潛熱傳達量)의 비율(比率)은 흐린날에 100%를 넘는 경우가 있어 때때로 이류(移流)에 의한 열복사(熱輻射)의 수평전도(水平傳導)가 있었다. 3. 1시간(時間)마다 적산(積算)한 일적산순복사량(日積算純輻射量)(Rn)과 증발잠열(蒸發潛熱)($LE_{(+)}$) 및 화간순복사량(畵間純輻射量)($Rn_{(+)}$)과 증발잠열(蒸發潛熱)과의 관계(關係)는 각각(各各) 다음과 같은 직선관계(直線關係)가 성립(成立)하였다. $$LE_{(+)}=0.971\;Rn+1.122\;R^2=0.9017$$ $$LE_{(+)}=0.882\;Rn_{(+)}+1.945\;R^2=0.8836$$ 4. 열수지계산(熱收支計算)에 의한 군낙증발산량(群落蒸發散量)(ETa)과 대형(大型) pan 증발량(蒸發量)(Epan)과의 관계(關係)는 다음과 같았다. ETa = 1.049 Epan + 1.657 $$R^2=0.6589$$ 5. 생육초기(生育初期)를 제외(除外)한 생육기간중(生育期間中) 건물(乾物)로의 물이용효율(利用效率)은 $2.31g{\cdot}DM{\cdot}kg^{-1}\;H_2O$이었으며, 평균일증발산량(平均日蒸發散量)은 5.29mm, 일사량중(日射量中) 군낙(群落)의 증발산(蒸發散)으로 소비(消費)된 열량(熱量)의 비율(比率)은 85%이었다.

  • A thermal analysis method taking into account energy balance in each elements of heat exchanger was introduced. This method has a merit in predicting the temperature field over the heat exchanger in detail. To verify this method, the results were compared with the published ones. The thermal analysis of the radiator in vehicles was also conducted and the results were compared with experimental ones. It is concluded that this method can be used in thermal analysis with relatively small error. When the velocity profile of inlet air is not uniform, the outlet temperature of cooling water is higher than that of uniform velocity profile.

  • Fuel consumption measurement of Hydrogen fuel cell vehicle is considerably different form internal combustion engine vehicle such as carbon balance method. A practical method of fuel Consumption measurement has been developed for Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. There are three method of hydrogen fuel consumption testing, gravimetric, PVT(Pressure, Volume and temperature), and Coriolis mass flow, all of which necessitate physical measurements of the fuel supply. The purpose of this research is to measure the fuel consumption of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles on chassis-dynamometer and to give information when the research is intended to develop method to measure hydrogen fuel consumption.

마이크로그리드에서 SOC균형을 고려한 ESS의 충·방전 전력배분 방법 (Power Allocation Method for Multiple ESS Control Considering SOC Balancing in Microgrids)

  • In this paper, multiple ESS(Energy Storage System) control strategy for microgrids is presented. Installation of ESS becomes mandatory when microgrids are used to supply high quality power to the loads. The one of main functions of the ESS is to maintain power balance. However ESS has limitation of its capacity and instantaneous injecting power. Power allocation method based on SOC(State Of Charge) of each ESS is proposed. P-Q control is employed as the basic control strategy for the distributed ESSs. By using the proposed method, the coefficients in the conventional P-Q control method are modified. The ESSs with higher SOC inject more active power, while those with lower SOC inject less, leading to more balanced SOC levels among the ESSs. The proposed method is demonstrated by simulation using PSCAD/EMTDC.

A lateral load pattern based on energy evaluation for eccentrically braced frames

  • Performance-Based Plastic Design (PBPD) method has been recently developed to evaluate the behavior of structures in different performance levels. The PBPD method utilizes a base shear force and a lateral load pattern that are estimated based on energy and yielding mechanism concepts. Using of current lateral force pattern results in weak structural members in upper stories of a structure so that the values of the story drift in these stories are larger than the target drift, particularly in high-rise buildings. Therefore, such distribution requires modifications to overcome this drawback. This paper proposes a modified lateral load pattern for steel Eccentrically Braced Frames (EBFs) based on parametric study. In order to achieve the modified load pattern, a group of 26 EBFs has been analyzed under a set of 20 earthquake ground motions. Additionally, results of nonlinear dynamic analyses of EBFs have been post-processed by nonlinear regression analysis in order to derive the new load pattern. To prove the efficiency of present study, three EBFs as examples were designed by modified pattern and current PBPD distribution. Inelastic dynamic analyses results showed that the story drifts using modified lateral load pattern were well within the target values in comparison with current pattern in PBPD, particularly where the effect of the height is significant. The modified load pattern reduces the possibility of underdesigning in upper levels and overdesigning in lower levels of the frames.

SOFC Hot BOP 단열재 적용 방법에 따른 열평형 기대 효과에 대한 수치해석 연구 (A Numerical Study on the Expectation Effect of Thermal Balance according to SOFC Hot BOP Insulation Application Method)

  • This paper is a numerical study of various methods of applying SOFC hot BOP insulation. The application methods are four cases from case 1 to case 4, and the performance difference between the result of applying powdered insulation and the result of zoning using composite multi-layer insulation was examined. Numerical results show that the thermal stability of composite multi-layer insulation is better than that of powder insulation when the thermal conductivity is 0.04 W/mK. In the future, we will increase the thermal conductivity of the composite multi-layer thermal insulation material and find the greatest value of thermal conductivity with a similar result to that of the powder insulation.

퍼지 로직 기반의 위성용 MPPT 개발 및 EBA를 통한 성능검증 (Development of Fuzzy Logic-based MPPT and Performance Verification through EBA for Satellite Applications)

  • 저궤도 위성이 제한된 전력 내에서 임무를 성공적으로 수행하기 위해서는 효율적인 전력생산이 중요하다. 이를 위해 저궤도 소형위성의 전력계에서는 주로 MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) 방식을 사용하여 태양전지에서 생산되는 전력을 조절한다. 본 연구에서는 소형 큐브위성(KAUSAT-5)에 적용될 퍼지 로직 기반의 MPPT 알고리즘을 제안하며, 제안된 방법의 유용성을 확인하기 위해 MATLAB/Simulink와 STK (Systems Tool Kit)를 연동하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. Simulink와 STK를 이용하여 위성 궤도와 자세에 따른 태양 광량과 운용모드에 따라 변하는 부하용량에 대해 KAUSAT-5의 두 가지 지향모드에서 EBA(Energy Balance Analysis)를 수행하였고, 이를 통해 제안된 퍼지 로직 기반의 MPPT 알고리즘의 성능을 확인하였다. 제안된 퍼지 로직 기반의 MPPT는 가장 일반적인 방법의 하나인 P&O (Perturbation & Observation)와 성능을 비교하여 유용성을 확인하였다.

인간 열환경 지수(HumanThermal Sensation)를 이용한 조경계획 및 디자인 방법 (Landscape Planning and Design Methods with Human Thermal Sensation)

  • 이 연구는 인간 에너지 균형 모델에서 출발한 인간 열환경 지수 분석 방법을 이용하여 캐나다 BC주에 있는 나나이모시 상업지구안 좁은 길과 경상남도 창원시 중심상업지구에 있는 소공원을 연구 대상지로 2009년 여름철 열환경을 분석한 것이다. 기후 입력 자료는 기온, 상대습도, 풍속, 태양 및 지구 복사에너지이었으며, 그 결과 인간 열환경 지수에 가장 크게 영향을 미치는 요소들은 태양 직사광선, 건물시계지수 그리고 풍속이었다. 음지는 약간 더운 정도의 열환경을 조성하는 것으로 나타나 매우 덥게 나타난 양지에 비해 훨씬 좋은 열환경을 조성하는 것으로 나타났다. 나나이모 연구 대상지에 있는 좁은 길들은 주변의 넓은 장소들에 비해 주변 건축물에서 나오는 태양 반사광선과 지구 복사에너지들이 더 많이 영향을 미쳐 훨씬 덥게 나타났다. 낮은 풍속에 의해서 인체에서 방출되는 현열과 잠열의 양이 현저히 줄어듦으로서 더 더운 열환경이 조성되는 것으로 나타났다. 기후요소를 조경에 접목하기 위해서, 인간 열환경 지수 분석 방법을 이용하는 것은 열환경적으로 쾌적한 옥외 공간조성에 영향을 미칠 것이며, 도시 열섬 완화와 기후변화 연구에도 잘 이용될 수 있을 것이다.
