Dynamic modeling and system identification for a MMAM controlled flexible manipulator

  • For a high bandwidth, accurate end of arm motion control with good disturbance rejection, the, Momentum Management Approach to Motion control (MMAM) is proposed. The MMAM is a kind of position control technique that uses inertial forces, applied at or near the end of arm to achieve, high bandwidth and accuracy in movement and in the face of force disturbances. To prove the concept of MMAM, the, end point, control of a flexible manipulator is considered. For this purpose, a flexible beam is mounted on the x-y table, and the MMAM actuator is attached on the top of the flexible beam. A mathematical model is developed for the flexible, beam being controlled by the, MMAM actuator and slide base DC motor. A system identification method is applied to estimate some system parameters in the, model which can not be determined because of the complexity of the mechanism. For the end point, control of the. flexible beam, the, optimal linear output feedback control is introduced.

  • In this paper, implementation of speech Recognizer system, Separated from Personal computer. By using DSP, this intends to extend the voice recognizing, limited into PC because of amount of data and calculations. For this performance The thesis uses the real time End point detector and organizes no additional device between human and the system, characteristic vector are that detects End point and voice from absolute energy and ZCR, that uses 12 difference Cepstrum from LPC, that uses the method to compensate the process of pattern separating and pre-calculated standard pattern limitation.

  • This is a study of the translational end-point control of a single link flexible arm-with a tip mass. The beam is mounted on a translational mechanism driven by the ball screw, whose rotation is controlled by DC servomotor. The problem of shifting the end-point from its initial position to the commanded position is studied analytically both for the open-loop control subjected to some path functions and for the closed-loop control using the feedback of the tip information.

  • This paper presents an end-point of 1-link flexible robot arm with a tip-mass by using self-turning fuzzy algorithm. The arm is mounted on a translational mechanism driven by a ballscrew, whose rotation is controlled by CD servomotor. Tip position is controlled so that it follows a desired position. A feedback signal is composed of both the tip-displacement error and change in error. This paper gives the experimental tip responses according to the variations of tip-mass and beam-length, and also showes the effects of reducing the residual vibrations occuring at the end-point.

  • In this paper, we propose the position- and size-independent handwritten on-line Korean character recognition system using multilayer neural networks which are trained with error back-propagation learning algorithm and the features of Hanguel consonants and vowels. Starting point, end point, and three vectors from starting point to end point of each stroke of characters inputted from mouse or tablet are applied as inputs of neural networks. If double consonants and vowels are separated by single consonants and vowels, all consonants and vowels have at most four strokes. Therefore, four neural networks learn the consonants and the vowels having each number of strokes. Also, we propose the algorithm of separating the consonants and vowels and constructing a character.

  • The hydraulic cylinder is used for actuating the roller-link type rotating floodgate which controls the volume of water in the reservoir. The locating points of hydraulic cylinder are restricted to the limited space and determined to minimize the cylinder force necessary for actuating the floodgate. Generally, the head end point of cylinder is fixed at underground and the rod end point of cylinder is connected to the support link. Therefore there exist three design variables to be determined to minimize the cylinder force within the rotating range of floodgate. First, the mathematical model of the roller-link type rotating floodgate is derived to find the cylinder force corresponding to the floodgate angle. Then, the optimal locating point of hydraulic cylinder is searched using the complex method that is one kind of constrained direct search method.

P Wave Detection based on QRST Cancellation Zero-One Substitution

  • Cardiac arrhythmias are common heart diseases and generally cause sudden cardiac death. Electrocardiogram (ECG) is an effective tool that can reveal the electrical activity of the heart and diagnose cardiac arrhythmias. We propose detection of P waves based on QRST cancellation zero-one substitution. After preprocessing, the QRST segment is determined by detecting the Q wave start point and T wave end point separately. The Q wave start point is detected by digital analyses of the QRS complex width, and the T wave end point is detected by computation of an indicator related to the area covered by the T wave curve. Then, we determine whether the sampled value of the signal is in the interval of the QRST segment and substitute zero or one for the value to cancel the QRST segment. Finally, the maximum amplitude is selected as the peak of the P wave in each RR interval of the residual signal. The average detection rate for the QT database was 97.67%.

  • In this paper we propose a method fur the evaluation of the quality of service for VoIP services in NGN. Specifically, let us anatomize the elements of delay of a voice connection in the network in an end-to-end manner and investigate expected value at each point. We extract the delay time in each element in the network such as gateway, network node, and terminal equipment, and estimate an upper bound fur the tolerable delay in each element.

니켈도금액중의 붕산 신속정량법 (Rapid Analysis of Boric Acid in Nickel Plating Solutions)

  • Only mannitol or glycerine is generally used for the determination of boric acid in a nickel plating solution in order to make its acidic property so strong that it can be titrated with NaOH. However, these solutions give very amgiguous color change of indicator due to the precipitation of nickel salts . Therefore, only experienced dchemistsorwell trained workimen can accurately confirm the actual end point of the titratiion. For eliminating such interference of nickel salts and easily confirming the end point by any persons , the author attempted to find out a solution which produces no precipitates during the titration in these experiments, and also he tried to funish the reason for ambiguousness in titration. The following results were obtained after many experiments. (1) In any titrations which produce nickel salts such nI(oh)$_2$, the salt is formed umption very approximate to the end point, which shows some error by the consumption of titrant(NaOH) . Then, the pink color of phenolphthalein is absorbed by Ni(OH)$_2$ and the pH jumping at the end pint is also diminished to as little as less than 15% of the total phenophthalein ph range. (2) Known methods by complex salts of citrate,w hich do not produce precipitates of Ni(OH)$_2$, are also not very satisfactory, because, the pH jumping at the end point is only about 35% and the color change of phenolphthalein is form blue-green to purple-blue. (3) New method by complex salts of oxalate were attempted in these experiments. They also did not produce precipitates of Ni(OH)$_2$ and were very satisfactory in color change at the end of point was about 65% and the color change was from blue-green to purpled. In this methods, analytica cost was minimized by the use of less amounts of cheaper chemicals than the conventional citrates complex methods. The mixture of chemicals used was composed methods. The mixture of chemical used was composed of 37g/ι of sodium oxalate(Na$_2$C$_2$O$_4$$.$5H$_2$O), 2g/ι of phenolphthalein, and 400ml /ι of glycerin. The accuracy of analysis was within the error of 0.5%. (4) The procedure of analysis was as follows. One ml of nickel plating solution was taken out and to it were added 20ml of water and 20 ml of the above mixture for the indicator. The solution was titrated with 0.1N NaOH. The quantity of boric acid was calculated by the following equation. Boric acid (g/ι) = 6.184${\times}$F${\times}$ml .

LAL 시험용 Lab-chip 개발을 위한 타당성 연구 (Feasibility Study for a Lab-chip Development for LAL Test)

  • LAL 측정용 chip을 제작하기 위해서 우선 시료의 부피 감소에 대한 비탁법과 비색법을 비교하였다. 비색법은 낮은 부피에서 높은 감도를 보여 주었으며 시료의 부피와 무관하게 같은 endotoxin의 농도에서는 같은 흡광도를 보인다는 결론을 얻었다. Endotoxin의 농도에 따른 표준곡선을 end point법과 kinetic point법을 비교한 결과 대한약전의 기준에 적합한 kinetic point법이 적합하였다. 이러한 기초 실험결과를 통해 PDMS LOC를 제작하여 LAL 시험을 수행하였다. LOC를 이용하여 더 짧은 시간과 더 작은 시료로 시험이 가능하도록 하였다. 특히 PDMS LOC는 복잡한 channel을 쉽게 만들 수 있을 뿐 아니라 mold를 이용하여 상용화를 위한 대량 생산이 가능하다. 따라서 PDMS를 이용한 LOC의 제작과 실험을 통해 기존의 수작업의 LAL 시험을 LOC를 이용한 다중시료 측정과 자동화의 가능성을 제시하였다.
